I sincerely believe no one working here would ever rip you off. Tech comes out after inspecting and gives you all the options. We were told we didnt need full brake job, just new front rotors and clean rear brakes. Several hundred $$$ difference.

I would say be cautious of the “$24.99” diagnostic/service fee form required to be signed before an alignment. It’s explained as “well it’s in case the technician says you need some parts or other repairs and you say no. He/she will be paid.” My question was is there any incentive for your technician to say anything other than you need some parts? Why would they? The business has created an additional fee for the customer. I asked for an alignment and that’s all. I was willing to pay for an alignment but chose to take my business else where.

Horrible service. I paid for a diagnostic test. An hour The mechanic and the salesman told me that they found the problem that was wrong with my car. They gave me a grand total of $560 to fix the problem. I gave them the approval to fix the problem. Three hours later the salesman told me that I needed to go to a dealership and still charged me $560. I was disappointed because I honestly wish they could of communicated better with me about being able to fix my car or not. I feel like this place is a gamble about getting your vehicle fix or not.

I came in for a new set of tires on my car. The salesman was rude, and acted like I was a bother. So I left and went to Firestone where I received excellent service!

They always take care of my tire needs! And believe me I go through some tires!! Theyre also the closest to me that does nitrogen tires. They always get me back to rolling!

I went in the store this morning to get my tires rotated . The fella told me it would be $45.00 a tire . Due to being not stock rims and oversized tires. The tires are OE size. The rims are OE size just not stock. I told the fella all they have to do is move the tires around. He said $45.00 a tire. Lost a customer. And he did not ask what size they are... bad customer service.

I tried to get one tire change on two different occasions. I went when they opened and a few hours after they opened during the week day. Each time they told me it would take a few hours. Thats in sane when there is multiple workers and only two cars being worked on.After the second time, I went right over to another place close by and they had 3 cars ahead of me and still finished with mine within 30 mins AND it was $20 cheaper. Dont go here if you dont have all day to spend with them

Needed a new set of tires while traveling thru Tennessee/ Mississippi and these guys got me in and 9n my way pretty quickly and my tires are performing as expected. Would definitely recommend.

The front counter staff is very friendly and kind however they are having serious staffing issues and I had to wait three and a half hours to get a simple oil change and tire rotation. Now I have been doing business with gateway for well over 10 years now and never had this kind of trouble so this is obviously a isolated event you would think however I had the same issue the last time I came in to get an oil change. Now theyre wanting to blame it on covid and not people not wanting to come to work and I can understand that but they need to be more upfront and tell people that if they need to go somewhere or take care of some other errands rather than just sitting there and waiting that they should do that. If it is going to take that long to get an oil change then there needs to be some kind of an appointment system or a pager system to get people the freedom to be able to do things rather than just sit in their lobby and wait.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! The management and staff were super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They had me fixed up in a timely manner and ready to go! I will definitely deal with them again in the future. Store and bathroom was also very clean!

Great service! They dont try to sell you a new tire if yours can be patched.

Called them last minute for a tire repair and luckily they were open! Normal prices for repair of tire is about $20, they got it done before 10 minutes for free of charge! And on top of that, we got stuck on top of the snow and they helped! Excellent customer service. Beat that competitors!

Didnt see the gentlemans name but the customer service was extremely poor after spending almost 800.00 today. I walked in to pick up my vehicle and I was asked How can I help you sir, was not given a receipt so I had to go back in, the gentleman appeared to be in work mode.

Not very helpful at all. Kept my sons car overnight and did nothing. Alleged that they didnt know what was wrong with it. I firmly believe it was racially motivated since I questioned the young lady who advised me that the mechanic had to test drive it. I was told this the previous day. Again I feel it was racially motivated ad though, how dare I question her..... Wont be going back.

I would say the clientele doing business at gateway shows you the competence of the company. Many had been there before.. People were lined up, masked and polite to one another. Wellll, there was 1 little woman, with her green and yellow hair and shorts, that decided to bop in with no mask. Gotta love em.

The managers attitude really stunk toward us but the other staff that was there was absolutely wonderful and had us on the road in less than an hour

Even though I don’t like the regional area wide management’s stance on some ways they conduct their business in the Memphis Market. Overall this location did a great job on my truck. They gave me an estimate cost of the job (which I learned they were not supposed to do which as a customer I appreciated and I realize it is and “estimate” not the final cost like most Americans do) They gave me a estimate of how long it was going to take (which they were not supposed to do as well) which was also a customer satisfier! Overall this location had it going on but don’t expect it from other locations. So as long as the manager stays at this location and does what the customer wants I will continue to use this location.

I live in the city of Memphis and if I ever need anything done on my vehicles I take them straight to the boys at Gateway Tire in Horn Lake. Why? Because it’s the best service center in our area! Quick, reliable, priced competitively and most of all friendly and respectful. I recommend this shop to all my friends and family.

Only tire shop I use! And always get great service for a great price! Justin is the best manager he should look over all the locations to make the service good across the board!

I took my car to them an hour before closing on a Tuesday. My car was ready at 3 pm the next day! Fair pricing, professional staff, and speedy service. One of my best experiences with am automotive repair shop to date!

I came in at 7:40 a.m., right after they opened. I still waited 2 hours just to get an estimate... Which ended up being far more expensive than I expected . Gateway wanted to charge to change a rotor, stating that it was damaged. They refused to just apply the pads and insisted on changing both. I went to a local salvage yard instead, located a good rotor, and bought brake pads. When I got ready to replace the rotor I found only superficial scarring- they wanted to charge over $150 for no good reason. I changed my own brake pads. This location was very efficient and had reasonable rates- once. Not anymore.

Ive used Gateway since I was a teenager and Im 41 now. They always took care of my mom without telling her she needs something she doesnt and most of the times did her oil change for free.

SLOOOOOWWWW!!!!! 4 HOURS TO FIX A FLAT???

I Ive purchased tires here before always had a great experience. This time not so much I went in with a set of tires that are five years old that had a slow leak. I was told this cannot be repaired because the tires are 5 years old. These tires have less than 15000 miles on them and look perfect just ran over a nail. Bear in mind I had the same set of tires on the car when they were repaired here less than month ago! At that point the salesperson proceeded to tell me how unsafe they were and I felt very pressured to buy a complete set of tires. Needless to say I doubt I will be back to the store.

They are usually good but this time to me they charged me too much. Cause I missed work cause of a misunderstanding. I didnt get a discount from this mistake. I thought that once u have their tires they suppose to at least discount u. No if it dont any meat on it then I have to buy tires at regular price. I dont think thats fair. They still cool with me

Theres a guy named Austin up there and he is great. He is the only one I allow to touch my car .Never had a problem with anything he has done. Exceptional individual.

Only one serviceman so took too long. Only had 2 of 5 services completed as had to go out of town n didnt wait.

This Gate way is the worst gateway in The city . They are rude and expect you to wait all day before they even come greet you to see what is needed . The last time I was here they were so rude to me but the manager corrected the issue and I was given a free tire so I gave them another chance . This morning all I wanted was air in my tire but they couldn’t even do that but that’s okay, I went across the street to express oil change and I was treated SOOO MUCH BETTER . I recommend them over gateway.

Was told I needed new tires, but they would have to order them. Told them to do it right away. 2 days later my husband went in to get them, they had never ordered them. Called them the next day and gave them the part number and asked them to order them. Again, 2 days later my husband went in to get them, they had never ordered them. He then sat there while they got them ordered FINALLY.

I stopped in on my way through town on I-55 with a leaking tire. The staff here were polite, professional and got me in and out with a replacement tire in under 1 hour on a busy Monday.The waiting room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The couches and TV made the time fly right by.Thank you to the staff and management for your assistance and a positive experience.

Even with our pandemic we were in and out in no time. We use them all the time & this visit was no charge.

I had my truck towed there only to receive a call saying that the fuel pump was to much work for them and that they didnt have the tools needed to do the work. I had it towed from there to Southaven Car Care where they had the tools to do the job quick and right. The 2 stars are for being kind and honest that they couldnt handle it

I took my 66 mustang here for an alignment after replacing all of the suspension. The tech told me it was “too hard” to do and he wasn’t going to do it. Talked to the manager and he shrugged it off. Thanks a lot guys!

Charged 60$ for an alignment the first time I came and nothing was changed. My tie rods were rusted so you could tell they haven’t been moved and my caster and camber bushings on my 1994 Ford F-150 are non adjustable so I paid 60$ for nothing. Went back a week later after replacing the tie rod ends inner and outer and the bushings myself and pointed out that nothing had been done. They were going to realign it again for free but the mechanic said he couldn’t use the bushings because they were only 2 degree bushings. After the mechanic talking to me like I was an idiot I left and had a firestone mechanic look at it. He said he can align it using the bushings and didn’t understand why the other mechanic couldn’t as they are -4 to +4 degree adjustable so they can cover almost any degree I would need. Don’t come here. I wasn’t mad about nothing being done the first time till I found out they weren’t going to try the second time and then the mechanic talking to me rudely. Unprofessional and lied about work being done.

Service wasnt great. Requested info for previous work and had a difficult time. Service rep was slightly rude. Spent a lot of money here. Will not return.

They were honest and made sure me and my 6 year old daughter were going to make it home safely without the inflated prices.
