We had two tire problems on our way traveling to Smyrna Mills, Maine to our second home last evening. Two brand new tires, one lost all the tread and one developed a slow leak on our utility trailer. I use VIP for all my truck repairs. In my experience, every staff member strived to get my truck in shape at the most affordable, down to Earth prices. In some cases they even adjusted the prices to suit my budget. The mechanics perform quality work and make sure my vehicle is safe for the road.

Always a great place to go to get work done, very friendly environment, and workers. Always gets work done quickly came in for a rotation the other day and was there for what seemed like 10 minutes then I was on my way again.

Theres no place to sit waiting for tire change.No I dont want to go sit in MacDonalds.New tire still leaked air, I bought a tire changer and fixed it myself.Rim was corrosion and same with valve stem.I buy my tires online now, its not too hard for DIY.

They will always find something “wrong” with your vehicle just to make money. Took it to a real mechanic and was told my vehicle is fine an that they were just trying to scam me, has happened more then once. I’d recommend finding a small town mechanic rather then going to big name business. I only gave the second star because the customer service was okay.

I had a massive misfire and vip was the only place in town that could get me in within an hour. My spark plugs completely wore and the mechanic not only let me know the diagnosis, but he came and sat down to show me my bad spark plug and what a good one should look like so I knew for future reference. Very accommodating.

I Went in for window washer fluid and the staff helped me find the one I needed, plus they even helped us problem solve a frozen line before we left. Staff are very friendly and helpful!

I arrived at 10 am for an oil change and was treated like an executive! Wonderful smiling happy staff who offered a detailed explanation of the prices and serviced my vehicle expeditiously with courteous service! I will be back and highly recommend their service to others!

I visited this VIP location on a Saturday morning. The manager that I spoke with had originally given me an appointment time of 3:00 p.m., however after being forced to sleep in and Irving parking lot overnight without heat in 20ﾟ weather, I showed up about 5 hours before my scheduled appointment because I had nowhere else to go. At this time I was about 2 hours away from home, and 11 oclock night, my Alternator stop working, and I had no way to get home or continue my trip. When I arrived at 10 or 11:00 in the morning, they got me in a soon as I showed up. They provided free coffee, allowed me to watch TV on roku device in the waiting Room, and are even nice enough to recharge up my battery starter for me. After being informed that my battery was also no longer any good after being informed I would need a new alternator, the manager was very helpful in assisting me with being able to locate a cheaper battery at a different location. If this Vip was closer to my home, I would definitely continue bringing my vehicle here for any other services I needed.

Went above and beyond helping me with my work truck changing my flat tire and tire rod so I could get back to work while being so far away from home! Excellent mechanic and great guys up front

The employees were very friendly and very timely with fixing my air filter after my horrid stuck in the mud accident haha! But on the other hand, my other visit they forgot to check my brakes on the multi-point inspection. Overall though, that was my only hiccup with them, they are normally great to work with.

This was my third time coming here to get work done and an oil change on my truck. The price is always reasonable, and the work is reliable. The quick service and last minute appointments are always convenient.

After having a bad experience at VIP Auto years ago, I have decided to give them another chance. Had new tires installed a couple months ago and the staff were very helpful, even stayed late to insure I got all the service I needed before I left. Today I am back for a tire rotation and oil change and the customer service has been wonderful.

I was in need of 4 tires just before the store closed, thankfully Robin helped me out and they stayed late so that I could make it home safely.

Friendly environment. The technicians know what they are talking about they don’t try to give you the run around when you ask a question. If they don’t know the answer they do everything they can to get the right answer. Had an oil change and rotation done recently. They where quick and diligent with the multi point inspection, they found a few things i didn’t know was wrong with the truck and I’m glad they did

I went in and was greeted by Kyke who helped me get my inspection sticker. He answered all my questions from winter tire changeovers to oil changes. I was in and out and had an overall pleasant experience.

They got the work done that they needed to. I was met with friendly faces and good service. However, they overestimated how much rust was on my car, making me think I had to get a lot of work done under my car. I went to another place out where I went to school, and he said structurally, I was sound. Either way, overall, they are a reliable place to get work done on your car.

When I tried to start my car and had to get a jump, I then called VIP and they told me to come right in and they would test my battery and then if I needed a new one they would install it for free. Well I went there and they did just what they said they would do. I was there for less than an hour and left with a new battery and my car has been starting every day since. I would recommend VIP because they are very helpful and they get the job done to my satisfaction and in a timely manner.

I ordered a rim for my car over a week ago. I picked it up at the store, and realized it was the wrong size. I took it back to get a refund and order a new one. The store clerks were extremely nice and worked well with me. It was a pleasant experience.

I don’t have enough good to say about this local VIP ! They got me in on a very short notice( less than 24 hrs)and had my daughters car safe fixed all repairs and inspected before I was done work ! I took my Ranger in for inspection, alignment check, and tire rotation. My appointment was for 9:00 A.M. I was prepared for a long wait time by taking lots of reading material. Everything was completed after about two hours. The service was friendly and there VIP has a pretty decent room in which to wait.

The service here is always on time and workers are very polite. I have never had a problem and have been many times!

We were very happy with our service. They were curtious and professional, at the Houlton store.We were going to PI when they were done.The serviceman recommended we go to PI VIP to have the lug nuts tightened.They were just as nice there, they got us right in. Now I know my car is safer for the winter.

The gentleman that wrote my service order was extremely helpful and courteous. Excellent trustworthy service and an all around quality job. This place just became my garage of record.

Even though I live in New Brunswick, I have been coming to VIP for over 6 years. My wish would be that VIP could come to my area and give Canadian Tire a real jolt.This visit I was able to get an appointment same day by calling around noon. Ive been stopping at the vip in houlton for tires and am in today for a oil change. They always get me in quick and do a good job.

Went in because my windshield wipers werent working. They got me in right away and Bryan did the work on my car. He came out and showed me the part that was broken and had it fixed in half an hour. The work was very reasonably priced. Would definitely go back again!

They changed our truck tires this spring quick and friendly.They also offered some advice on an air flow issue was super helpful. Will be taking other vehicle back for service.

I wanted wheels and tires for my wifes Kia Soul. I asked a few questions and got honest answers. No high pressure to buy extended this or that. Some were offered but I declined and that was that. Mainly because my wife drives like a little old lady and is easy on tires. If youre a hot dog you might want the extras. I got some great tires and wheels so winter/summer will be an easy changeover. We are so pleased with the Artic Claw tires. I want wifey to be safe and shes not on my case about slipping anymore! Lol! So Im a definite return customer! I need summer tires for her so Im actually kind of looking forward to the changeover!

My windshield wipers werent working and thought I needed a new motor. Staff could have simply sold me one but, instead, inquired what I was experiencing. They asked if they could take a look and sure enough they discovered an ice buildup underneath the plastic piece at the base of my windshield. Thank you!

Service people were knowledgeable and friendly to deal with. Work took about two hours. The additional charges were reasonable but should have been explained during the discussion on tire price. I would like to have received a copy of the alignment print out to compare it with the previous one done a few months back.
