Hello, my name is Ronney Smith. My partner, Pierre DuBord, and I were in Houma for the IFA Redfish tour tournament last Saturday, Aug 4th. During practice on Wednesday of last week, we hit an underwater pipe which resulted in a broken off skag, bent prop, and a bent crank shaft. We called you guys and met with A.C. and Mike I believe, on Thursday morning. A.C. was able to work us into his schedule and complete the work that day. We were only out of the water for 1 day. Because of this effort, we were able to get back in the water, fish the tournament and finish 7th out of 101 boats. None of this would have been possible without the dedication and support from the Degates Marine team. Thank you so much for getting us back on track in such a short period of time! We cannot thank you enough. (Especially A.C. who really put in the work). The engine works better than before and we are able to get up faster in shallow water without compromising any speed. The staff at Degates made a recommendation of a different pitch for the new prop and it worked great. Whenever we are in the Houma area again and need any service on our boat, Degates will be the very first call we make! Thanks again for your great service. So, so thankful!!

The service department is terrible. They do not stand behind their work. They messed up the wiring on my boat twice and then refused to fix it. They even hired a lawyer, a relative, when I complained.
