I had an intruder that was a threat to my safety. I had Acadian alarm sensors on the first story and after this incident, I needed sensors on the upper story also. Acadian arranged our appointment to the following day. They knew how we needed added security now ASAP. They also put a siren in the stairwell so the alarm could be heard on the second floor. I have received superior service from Acadian and they have made me feel safe. I have already recommended Acadian to several people…thanks for doing everything you do to make me feel safe.

The 5 year contract that you’re locked into is a complete scam. The equipment is faulty and prone to outages. The monitoring app is poorly developed and doesn’t work on your home WiFi. The cost to have their equipment serviced is exorbitant and should be a crime. And the customer service is not helpful. Do not get this service. Do not sign a contract with them.

I have to give the credit to Mr. Dexter. He is very friendly and professional and answered all my questions and provided me with enough information for me to make an informed decision about chosing Acadian Security. I was on the fence about going with an alarm company and especially one that isnt a national known company. However, I was presented with the information of products and services that I planned to currently get along with ones I am interested in getting in the future. And potential pricing of items (knowing that prices may change for future items, but allowed me to have a ballpark idea of what I need to save to add the features to my security system) My decision to sign up with Acadian Security was based on Mr. Dexter. He is a wonderful person who Im grateful to have helped me with this process. Hes wonderful and also deserves a raise! Thank You Acadian for hiring this employee and you need more like him. Hes definitely priceless.

Alarm monitoring and video surveillance. Great customer service. We have been a long term customer and wouldnt think of switching. We havent experienced any issues with our equipment over the years, although we have upgraded to some newer technology.

I was with the company that was bought out by Acadian Total Security. System always worked perfectly but now a small problem I wanted them to come out and look at. The first thing they told me that the Charge $85/per hour to come out. They did not say whether the $85/hr starts when they leave the shop, or when they get on the job. Also they did not say whether they would give me an estimated to fix my problem. I have a hard wired system, and security cameras. I think I will shop around for a local company who gives better service and cares more about customer satisfaction.

I left Vivint partly because the app didnt always work and the cost. We are still having issues with the Acadian app. When pulling up the doorbell camera, it doesnt always work. Same issue as Vivint.

Buyers BEWARE! I have been with safeguard/acadian home security for 9 year and have had no problems with them until we sold our home now they are telling me we signed a contract that locked us into 5 years with them and if the new homeowners dont take it over we have to pay out the remaining 2 years of the contract. That would be fine and dandy if this contract would not have been disgusied and a sales agreement for a new device that they hooked up to our security system and we would have been told we were committing to a 5 year contract. In no way shape or form would we have locked into a 5 year agreement if we would have been told about it. After being a loyal customer for 9 years I feel like this is a slap in the face that now we will have to pay almost 900 if the new owners dont take over the contract. Shame on you Acadian Home Security!The system is 22 years old there was nothing to install but the cellular device that we paid for. Regardless of if the contact is transferable or not the fact that noone informed us of what we were signing is what we have a problem with. We were told it was a sales agreement not a 5 year contract.
