Thieves! After a wreck my car was in their possession just for the speakers and amp to be stolen from it. The owners never even apologized and were rather dismissive. We work hard for the things we have and if you commit to taking a vehicle into your possession nothing should go missing. Not exactly the hyper religious persona they try to portray themselves as. The only thing good here was Thomas the driver and the gentleman with the dreads in the front office.

Had this place work on the truck. 2 years ago . They hold my truck for three months . Same story everytime I call .waiting on parts. Now I found out they didnt replace damage parts. Now they not answer their phone or when they do theyre saying the guy I need to talk is not there or message was given ..they wont honor their warranty. Last time the man answer said he dont care what I do with my truck .thats mine problem. Insurance fraud this what they do and dont fix your vehicle correctly.dont take your vehicle to this shop . Now I have a 8,000.00 bill get my truck fix correctly.

The owner Jay was not responsive. Edward and Thomas were not professional. They made several mistakes on my car. Charged me more than the quote on the phone. Poor job. Poor response. If you need your car taken care of, go somewhere else. ASAP. Do not waste your time or money.

They didnt even have my car for 24hrs and they charged me 260 dollars to get it out. I was quoted 240 over the phone but when i showed up within 3 hrs later it went to 260. They charged me an extra 20 dollars and couldnt explain why.

Autos are Us was recommended to me by a friend who used their service before. I am very satisfied with the service. Staff is friendly and professional. The atmosphere is comfortable. The turn around time was what they stated. They did a great job on my car. I will certainly refer them to my family and friends.

I was hit and my insurance recommended this place since its close to where I live . They fixed the hood of my car but damaged my rear bumper and STOLE my 2 front tires! Of course they said they didn’t do it I still have to come out of my own pocket to fix their damage that they refuse to admit they did. Take pics of your car before and after you go to this place!

They identified unforseen damages and informed both myself and my insurance company about an additional inspection needed. Our car was towed to the nearest bodyshop. Once our insurance started the claim the shop immediately stopped cooperating, suddenly refusing to allow the insurance company to retrieve the vehicle, after we had already released it to them. The manager then tried to explain he was holding our car against our wishes to protect us from our insurance company. We literally had to threaten the manager with lawful action to get him to release a car they had never been contacted to work on. It was simply in their lot because that was where it was towed. [The lot fee had been paid so this was not the issue] Very hinky experience which is sad because if they had been helpful with the handover in the first place, I would have considered them in the future.

I am 100% satisfied with my experience with autos r us. I was in a accident and needed my car fixed and they did an awesome job. The owner was very reasonable and very patient with me during the process and time my car was at their business. I know most collision centers would have tried to charge me sky high prices and probably charge me storage fees. There was no surprise with anything that was going on with my car and it was finished in a timely manner. Definitely would recommend them fix your car

I call today to Autos R Us Collision to ask for there towing services for my friends husband . When I called I gave them the distance and asked how much they were gonna charge us, the guy who answered the phone said it will be $175.When I got to my friends house she told me that the guy charged her husband $225. I called back and asked them why the price when up since I asked them twice to make sure, the lady who answered my call ask for the drivers name I gave it to her then she got my number she said they where going to give me a call back but that never happened. So just be careful!

Every time your going to call and get an status update there either never there or they are always taking messages they are just playing with peoples time and vehicle the owner does not even cares about the customers issues or anything! You call and they always say we are waiting on parts which is not even true they don’t even place an order on vehicle parts they just say that to have customers stop calling... I wish I could give this no stars. These people had my car as of 11/07/2018 and now my documents say I didn’t drop it off until 11/13/2018. That’s a lie. I got text updates that my car would be ready on 11/21/2018. Call to see what time I can come get it on 11/20/2018 and they guy on the phone LAUGHS and says he has no idea why I got that text and it will be 2 more weeks. Flash forward, I finally pick up my car on 12/13/2018 after they had my car for a total of 36 days. Total charge: $6,428.40. This was an insurance claim so I paid out $500 and took my car. It was dark but everything looked good. The very next day on 12/14/2018, my “replaced” rear number FLEW OFF of my car while I was going down the freeway!!!! I drove back to Autos R Us and they say there’s nothing they can do because they’re closed until Monday. I ask to speak to the manager and they give me the phone. I ask who I’m speaking with and he says he is “Jerry Palmer” and he is the owner. I tell him my bumper flew off and something needs to be done immediately. They have already had my car over a month and Monday doesn’t work for me. He said “We’re closed, like I said. It will have to wait until Monday.” HE THEN HANGS UP ON ME. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. They are LIARS, THEIVES, and completely rude!!!! My insurance company has an adjuster coming out to assess the FURTHER damage and I’m taking it somewhere else. Oh, and the total hours for labor on my receipt we’re only 46.4 so why did they have my car for 36 days?! This place needs to be shut down.

When I was hit my car was transported here (no choice). A few hours after the wreck I went to this location with the body shop of my choice towing truck to move my vehicle. When I arrived the male clerk was in his car smoking as it smelled like weed. When I was signing the paper work and paid the fees to release my vehicle the clerk asked for my ID and my insurance, thats not a requirement. You only need one proof of ID, NOT my insurance information. Not professional at all, seem fishy.

Autos R Us was very professional and courteous throughout the entire process with my vehicle. They kept me informed throughout the entire process and did a great job on the repairs needed to my 2003 E500. I will be using them again.

The 1 star is due to the customer service I received from Jessie the so called master mechanic. The rest of the office staff I dealt with was very welcoming and helpful. I regret recommending that my husband take his truck here! He was involved in a rear fender bender. I did not appreciate that Jessie made me feel like if I was an idiot and only HE knew what was best. He definitely does not care about the customer being satisfied. He acts and speaks as if he works for the insurance company! When I picked up my husbands truck and asked him what was done, his answer was, We fixed it! It wasnt until we continued to ask that he provided details. Hes arrogant and rude. His smart alec remarks and attitude were not needed. There was also issues with the work. Some screws were missing and the main thing was that the bumper was not painted to match as it was originally when brought in. When I took the truck back and told Jessie he fixed the missing screws issue. But he would not acknowledge the paint to match bumper and even when he himself showed me pictures where it clearly proved the original bumper was paint to match he was adamant about the bumper being chrome. I had to argue with him until he finally agreed to fix this and had the nerve to sound annoyed about having to do it? I cant believe that after he failed to return the vehicle as original he still had the nerve to act annoyed?!??!?? Being in an accident is stressful enough and having to deal with this type of person makes it even worst. Dont go here if you have to deal with this guy....

I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND OR GO BACK TO THIS PLACE due to many factors with this company:1st the communication on status of the car and updates are horrible. The company says they will call you back and they dont. I was given the run around when I arrived to pick my car and they even made up excuses that the owners son had the keys to the car with him. Then they even said that the insurance hasnt paid so they can not release the car ( when I called the insurance the company had already cashed the check).2nd The shops capabilities to find parts is very very poor, they were not able to find a part for the car and said it is out of state and still waiting for the part its back order. I was able to call and find the part locally and within minutes was able to find the part and gave them the info, they order the part and got delivered on Thursday. Come Monday the car is still not ready to install a fan, when the company said it would be ready Friday.PLAESE BE WARE DO NOT TAKE YOU CAR HERE UNLESS YOU WANT A HUGE HEADACHE.

This shop is the worst shop I have ever dealt with they took OVER A MONTH to tell me my vehicle was a TOTAL LOSS and the entire time the body shop was so rude to me everytime I called to get an update! DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!

Theres no coincidence that the majority of the dealings here are less than stellar. It doesnt take long to figure out the level of incompetence here is atrocious. Long delays, sub par work, and the blatant lying. Do yourself a favor and dont even attempt to take your vehicle here. Its unfortunate that its hard enough to find an honest, reputable shop, and these people are just playing the game, where they win and you lose. These people are slimeballs, steer clear.

It took 2 months to get my car fixed. There was more damage to my car it was dirty inside my gas was on empty and items missing and more.

Horrible service I was told take a few days to repair my car turn into a few weeks every time I call got the run around the owner never in the place then when I go pick up my vehicle it has other damages they never fixed when I know they seen that. They also have poor customer service. Ill never ever go there again I strongly recommend pay attention to these reviews because if I would see all these other people comments I wouldnt use auto r us. They originally promised from the 9th of April that my vehicle would be ready April 23rd, and I didnt get my vehicle until may 1st. Really unreliable service without being called to even let me know what was going on I had to keep calling and the owner was never there but he was before he received my insurance check.

Jerry Palmer lied repeatedly about the status of my repairs. He said he needed time to wait on parts that he never replaced and the old parts were still on the car when I showed up to pick it up. No credible mechanic would allow a vehicle to leave the shop with the front suspension in this condition. Especially someone with the word of God on every wall of their shop. These people claim to be Christian and inevitably that may very well be there downfall. This shop is an absolute fraud!!!

Driver was very unprofessional. Got angry while unloading our vehicle, released the Ebrake and let the car free roll off of the bed of his truck, over a curb and into a fence. This is highly unacceptable. When informed the police were on the way the driver took off. Luckily I have video of the incident. You will be hearing from us.

This place is horrible from management to customer service. Management never available to discuss issues. They do not tell customers about their 400.00 administrative fees just for a quote. Car was take apart for a quote and they refuse to put the parts back on unless you paid an additional 400.00. they are a total rip off. I would never recommend

Very bad took in my car with insurance claim.... total charge was over 11k for something minor then my car brakes down and they dont want to do warranty on it for some dumb excuses but since they took it apart they charging me labor and is real expensive...my insurance went way high up and now i got to pay money off my pocket...highly not recommended....staff is very friendly and greetable jesse steel is not the guy to go to...

Wont accommodate customer needs. Requires customer to be physically present to release car to car insurance company. Wouldnt allow me to fax or scan a form through e-mail. Houston is a large city, it is a huge inconvenience for me to take off from work and pay for a Uber just to sign a single form. Having a wrecked car is stressful enough.

This shop has horrible business ethic. A two day visit to the shop turned into 3 weeks. The owner Jerry Palmer is apprently the only one who calls the shots and is terrible at getting back to speak eith customers. Multiple time I went up to the shop to authorize repairs but owner is no where no be found and couldnt get my car fixed. To top it off, they lost the insurance check that they were given for repairs.

SMH!! I will NEVER EVVVER go back there. I had a tiny smudge of paint scratched off of my bumper and it took a month?!! No CLEAR communication whatsoever! I was told it will take a few days, I called a 2 weeks later and was told my car would be ready at the end of the day, needless to say I am JUST picking up my car TODAY which is 2 weeks later from then!l

Had bad experience always towed my car

This is my first experience with this company and my last if you are reading this I strongly suggest not choosing this shop for any repairs. They are liars and very unprofessional. I dropped my car off and picked it up a month later worst then it was before. I dont know if its because it has been sitting for a month or what now when I drive it sounds really weird.

My vehicle was towed here after an accident. I literally had everything stolen out of my vehicle, and when I called to report it they tried to intimidate me to not calling the cops. I still did of course, the owner knew about the situation and didnt try once to even communicate with me. Horrible way to run a business
