I would, and have, recommended this place to everyone I know. Shawn and Jose are the most professional repairmen I have met and are open and honest with everything about your car. If there is a cheaper option for parts or If there is a work around they will inform you. I have a jaguar F type with exhaust issues and they fixed it in a timely manner. This place is a 10/10, the best bang for your buck in Houston.
2015 Boxster oil change and filter done. Reasonable price, fast service, and nice facilities. I would recommend to others and return again.
Very classy place well maintained nice inventory very professional polite and courteous and knowledgeable staff I strongly recommend this place Ive been in the business for over 40 years and Ive taken two Mercedes to them this far and everything that I have learned and seen as interpreted excellent quality service and knowledge this is a place if you have a fine high-end car this is a place where you want to go and a good make it happen attitude theyre in the process of restoring a classic c124 aka w-124 coupe 300ce Restoration they diagnose the car the first time correctly cars been to three other shops and they waste a lot of my money and never solve the problem these guys went straight to it and theyre taking care of it
Definitely the place to take your European vehicles 🚗 for all of your automotive needs. Recently had my BMW 335is in for some gremlins. ABS indicator, breaking system malfunction, transmission overheating error, and a few other random warnings. Carlos, Larry and the crew are definitely craftsmen of their work. Jose and crew at the front were definitely informative and kept me updated throughout the process. My vehicle came in infected and diseased and left cured and running smoother than ever. Their work is reasonably priced, especially for the quality of service. Definitely a happy camper! 👍🙌🙌🙌~ Bao Chung
Started using this place recently for my Range Rover. It seems like a reliable, honest service. Let’s see how they serve me over the next couple of visits but giving a 5-star for now.
DO NOT GO TO THE DEALERSHIP! These guys know what they are doing. They are fair, honest, and easy to deal with. Jose is very good about updating you on status of repairs. They work well with extended warranties as well.
My car was returned to me in worst condition than when I brought it in...and thats saying a lot because its in pretty bad shape.I own a 1999 CLK 320 Mercedes-Benz. I picked this shop because their shop looked clean, they specialize in European cars and performance and I spoke initially with their front desk staff and it was positive.Pros: Great customer service from all staff that I met. They answered all questions and seemed very knowledgeable. The place is clean.Cons: Poor customer follow up, no transparency on pricing (which seems to be most repair shops), long wait times to get vehicle back, expensive diagnostic fee, car returned in worst condition.I took car in May 10, 2021 and spoke with Shawn about my cars issues. He had me write down what I wanted them to look over. After looking at my extensive list, he stated diagnostic fee might be $600-800 dollars. I knew the fee would be high from looking at previous reviews and because of the condition of my car. I asked him to give me a realistic time frame on diagnostics and an eventual price to fix everything. He told me after looking at my list, that It will be done before the end of the week. That sounded reasonable to me so I called an Uber and left. The next day I called back and asked them to diagnose why when turning my steering wheel to back up and making full left or right turns, my car would shudder and if they could add restoring my wheels to the repair list. I left them to do their work and figured Id get a call back by Thursday. I didnt so I called back and was told by Shawn they were still working on it and that he would call me back. Friday came and went, Saturday came and went so I called Monday Morning.Shawn answers and I ask for an update. He states that he just got in and they are getting started for the day. He states that he will go back and talk to his tech and call me back. I dont get a call back so I contact him later that day or the next to state that Im just going to pick up my car and return it when they have more time. He states hes the only one working and the car has not been sitting and they are working on it. He states that I have a lot of issues with my car (Im aware). He states that so far the car is going to cost about or over 10K in repairs and in his professional opinion its not worth putting in the work. I state that I understand, how about we just repair what I need to keep it going for year or so. He also states that something is up with the transmission and they are checking that too. He states he will call me back with a number to repair the critical mechanical issues.I dont get any follow up for two more days and decide to pick up my car on Friday, May 21, 2021. I call and Shawn picks up and tells me about the extensive repairs and about the transmission issue. Stating that a reman would be about 5K and a new one would be 8K. He recommended that I put the money into another car.I arrive, Shawn is working on paper work for the diagnostics, the fee for them to check my vehicle came out to be $500.00 even. I get in my car and notice an issue immediately when driving away. My car has always had a rough idle but after getting my car back from Eurocar-Werk, the rough idle is horribly worse. The car shakes as if they didnt put all of the parts back together completely, left something out or didnt screw something back tight.I have had an issue with each repair shop I go to. One broke the steering wheel base cover and another caused the passenger door lock to be disengaged. I specifically asked them to return my car in the same condition I left it and they didnt. After trusting Eurocar-Werk with my vehicle, I was without a car for two weeks(would have been longer if I had not insisted on following up. I got a call back once), spent 300+ dollars on Ubers, spent $500 dollars for diagnostics, and a car in worst condition than when I left it and nothing was repaired.I would not recommend using this repair shop for your vehicle.
Great service, Jose and Sean are very friendly and understanding of any issues I had, I brought a 1983 Porsche 928S, a 1985 Porsche 944 and a 2012 Porsche 911 Turbo with all great results. Highly recommend for quality service at reasonable prices. Its worth spending your money here, they know what they are doing. I drive 90 miles to get there! 😁
This was my 2nd visit for issues with a battery which shouldve been tested as requested the 1st time. Kept car 1 1/2 weeks and claimed to be running tests all that time. I stopped by unexpectedly and my car was sitting up front like it was ready for pickup. The person who had been helping me name is Shawn whom I was told for the 3rd time in 2 days was on break and given more excuses as why the car wasnt ready. 30 minutes after returning home I received a call saying the car was ready. I refused to turn around as I had just left. I picked up my car the next as this time it was blocked as if they thought I was going to take the car. Also it wasnt detailed like the first time. All because I needed a battery
Great customer service.
Oil change price okayBut diagnostic fee is too muchThey should tell the prices to costumers before they fix the problem...operation and staff are good!!
They are the nicest folks and put a premium on customer service and satisfaction, which is refreshing in this industry. My maintenance visit in January went great, they said car was in great shape. So I was a bit surprised in August when my brakes warning light came on.I took it in and they recommended I replace everything (pads, rotors, etc) to the tune of $1,500. Was a little surprised the brakes went from great shape to needing complete replacement in about 5k miles. I have no idea if they did or if that cost was too high, but they seem honest so I went ahead with it. When I picked it up, the brakes didnt seem as grippy as before and they now squeaked, which was annoying. After 250 miles and no improvement, I brought it back in for them to look at.They were very nice and even thanked me for bringing it back. Im not sure what they did upon my revisit, but they mentioned bleeding the brake line. This time when I picked it up they were grippy again and no squeaks. So in the end, I was happy with the finished product, just a little annoyed I had to bring it back in and a little confused why they didnt mention in January they were nearing their end of life. I only drive about 8-10k miles/year so 7 months isnt what most people would drive.
Great service! In and out with an oil change and inspection under 2hrs, would recommend!!
Great service and attention to detail. I recommend Eurocar-Werk for any luxury import!
Trustworthy mechanics! Took my 2014 range rover for repairs, Carlos did a great job navigating through what I needed. Found my new permanent mechanic! Marcus is also very knowledgeable.
I gave these guys 2 times to do right but ended up being jerked around both times.1st time I went there was a few months ago to get front brakes put on. The guy tells me that my brakes were so bad that my front Rotors needed to be changed. I checked my brake pads before I got there and new There was nothing wrong with my rotors. They tried to charge me $935 to fix both. I told them to just bring back my vehicle and proceeded to go to another mechanic. That mechanic did a check and told me that there was nothing wrong with my rotors at all. His price was so reasonable, I told him to just change both front and rear brakes.2nd time was just a few days ago. I went to get my brake sensor replaced. The mechanic I found a few months prior went out of town so I decided to give these guys another shot (because I knew it didn’t take much to replace a $20 brake light). First off, it took well over 3 hours before I decided to call and check on my vehicle. The mechanic tells me that the lining of my rear brakes (that were brand new!) were wearing. Just came back 2 hours ago from my mechanic that was out of town and I’m told that the rear brakes are fine. Both times I had to wait 3+ hours just to get a diagnostic on my vehicle (and I had to reach out to them, they never called me) and both times I’m told things that are false. Will not be going back.
This is THE place to take your European car for service. Excellent service. The shop is clean and efficient; the personnel are professional. They hardly have enough wall space to display all of the certifications they have! If you have a German/Italian/British car - take it here. Youll never take it anyplace else again.
As a working mom, doing anything during business hours is hard. I left them a text through their site at 3am and by 730am someone has texted me back answering my question. By 9am, my Porsche was getting serviced for an oil change and filter service that also comes with vacuum and car wash (what?!) for an extremely reasonable price compared to the dealership’s $500+tax quote. Waiting room is privately tucked away and clean. Definitely go here!
Had the V8 R8 in for oil service and a door lock actuator issue. done and done with the Oil and new door motor the next day, and had it approved with my warranty company. how can it better? It cant. Thanks guys! A++
Best experience Ive ever had with an auto body shop! Quality is amazing, price is on point, staff seems knowledgeable, quick service and even quicker turn around. Ive never been so impressed by a service shop and wont take my Range Rover anywhere else. I have very high expectations and Eurowerk exceeded them. As long as theyre in business, they can count on a lifetime customer!
Don’t take your luxury car to the dealership! Take it here 😍😍
Ive been bringing my cars to Eurocar since 2016 and because of the excellent service Ive referred several of my friends here as well. Recently, I had an issue with miscommunication regarding service that I expected was going to be done. I had a chance to discuss directly with the owner, Eric, who was understanding and apologetic, and we were able to come to a mutual resolution. I appreciated the personalized service he provided. I recommend bringing your car to Eurocar for worry-free, high quality service.
I have taken my 1999 Porsche Boxster to Eric for performance upgrades, general maintenance, advice, and every time, the experience has been great. Eric is very honest, will give you a straight answer, wont sell you something you dont need, always a fair price, and the service is of the highest quality. I would recommend his shop to anyone.
I had an oil change while I waited. Nice, clean waiting room, helpful, pleasant people, all done quickly and the records updated. This was my first time with Eurocar Werk, I will definitely be doing the car service there.
These guys have worked on my Porsche 930, my wifes Mercedes and a cranky Maserati for me for years. Great crew, best air cooled work Ive ever had. I wouldnt trust anyone else with my toys.
Great place to take your European Car for repairs or preventive maintenance. They also do performance upgrades. My wife and I have been using these guys for years and have always been treated fairly.
They did amazing job on my cayenne! I found a place that i can trust
Recommend for service on older, higher mile euro cars.
Great place, owner is very nice and knowledgeable person. Diagnosed my problem quickly & fixed it quickly!
As a long time customer of this repair shop. I personally hold Eric in high regards as to his ethical standards and honesty. But I cannot say the same for some of his front line staff. Despite this misgivings I still feel i get value when I bring my car to this shop but see the need to engage with Eric personally. Unfortunately he has lots of commitments.
Great location. They remodeled so it looks get
Made appointment re my turbo Audi. Was getting P0299 turbo underboost code. I cleared the code. Went in and they gave me the we need an open checkbook speech about they will be fishing in the dark and will have to have the car several days to test and look at it. Hogwash. I turned around and walked out. There is an established protocol to test for leaks and problems with the turbo. Either they dont know how to handle Audis, the guy at the front is a dope, or they saw a mark and were setting me up for a huge unnecessary invoice. Either way, they are not to be trusted. Called another local European repair shop - they knew exactly how to handle the problem and could actually speak intelligently and handle the repair.
They have had our car since Mar 2019 and now we stop by and it is sitting outside (under a cover) on a rainy day. We have never had this car outside - it is a classic. Our fault for leaving it there but all we needed were minor fixes - this is taking EXTREMELY too long.
Have been bringing my BMW and Porsche to Eurocar-Werk for 13 years! They keep my cars running beautifully! Wont trust anyone else to even change the oil let alone doing major work that all cars require when you drive them for 200K miles!
Always deliver great service.
As an Audi owner, it’s hard finding perfect mechanics for your car unless you want to pay an arm and leg at the Audi dealership. Until I found eurowerk shop, I definitely feel the difference in my car as in drives like new! Very professional and helpful, even picked up my car clean and washed, pretty much looked brand new! Please ask for José, he really cared about helping me, great customer service and very honest. I’m definitely taking my car there for anything, I was very impressed. Thanks jose
ENDED UP HERE INSTEAD OF EURO WHEEL, BEST PLACE FOR MY 95 LINCOLN, CONTINENTAL ..SAM, DAVID HERE ARE AWESOME..AT EURO WHEEL
I have been a customer and friend of the shop for years. The work they have performed on my 911 sc is always beyond my expectations. It’ never ran this well before . Their work is always on point.
Best European repair shop in Houston. I send all my Mercedes and Porsche work here.
Eurocar-Werk simply put are professionals that deliver 5 star customer service and technical expertise
Fast efficient service. Nice waiting area.
I was a customer when Eurocar opened in the 70’s under the tutelage of Carlos Passini. Back then, you could stroll through the shop and see the coolest stuff you could imagine....Magusta,s E-types, Daytonas, and of course, 911 Porsches. Today, under the ownership of Eric Anderson, you’ll still see mouthwatering cars every day with the same level of knowledge as “back in the day”. In fact, my tech, José, started working for Carlos when the shop first started. Not many mechanics know their way around mechanical fuel injection, nor CIS, let alone the obsolete device called a carburetor, but at Eurocar they are experts in all of these older technologies, as well the current and more modern stuff. The front office staff is friendly and helpful. I dealt mostly with Marcus and found him to be extremely competent, prompt and highly responsive. Ditto the very knowledgeable and “hands on owner”, Eric.If you think about having high quality techs servicing your car, you’ll quickly understand why the repairs ain’t cheap. I had them install an AC unit and a remote oil cooler in an old Porsche 911. I can tell you, from having done some mechanical repairs myself, this was not an easy job, especially to do neatly, without damaging the car. Unannounced, I showed up to see how the job was going and was elated to see that my tech, José, worked just as orderly and neatly as I do. I wanted to get some photos of the car from underneath, so I crawled under the car in my street clothes, took the photos and when i checked my clothing, there was nary a stain....the work floor was that clean.Highly recommended if you want your baby repaired right, at a fair price. Bargain hunters need not apply.steve meltzer
Would not use these guys again, they charged a diagnostic fee when it was obvious what was wrong, ( a broken ignition) the service writer also said brake pads/rotors were bad and when I asked how they knew because I had the wheel locks and they could not have gotten any wheels off he replied the mechanic had been able to get the wheels off because he had other wheel locks. I told them to replace them and two days later I got a phone call from the service writer saying that they really needed the wheel locks to get to my brakes!!! Told him to figure my bill out and call me with the number. When I went to pick the car up the bill was higher than what he had told me two hours prior. Too many lies and I will find another shop to do my brakes!!!
This experience was exemplary. I contacted 4 of the reputed top 10 Porsche service centers listed on Yelp. Eurocar-werk was the only one to even bother to return my communication. Marcus not only called back but was more than on point with customer service and support. My Porsche was repaired for the stated quote and returned on his communicated date. Eurocar-werk is now my shop of preference for all my service needs!!
The best service and work my family and I have ever had for my varies Mercedes-Benz. Great work at fair prices and honest advice. What more can you ask for !!!
Based on the reviews of this shop, I took my Porsche there for an oil service, to fix reverse lights which were not working and to change the transmission fluid.I told them that the reverse light switch was faulty (common on these cars) and to replace it. The part costs less than $10 and usually takes a few minutes to replace if the car is on a lift. They charged me almost $200 to troubleshoot and diagnose the issue which I already told them was there. On top of that, the part was sold to me for $42.If they had called me to let me know what the costs would be before doing the work, I would have told them to not do it. However, it was only brought to my attention at check out, which is not a good way to do business. On top of this, ever since I got my car back, it leaks a little transmission fluid every now and then. Seems it was overfilled.
When I moved to Houston in 2005 I needed a shop that I felt confident with my Ferrari. After interviewing several shops, Eurocar-Werk was an easy choice. I’ve been taking all my cars there for 13 years. That includes Porsches, Ferraris, BMWs and Mercedes. Their work is meticulous and their knowledge and willingness to solve problems is untouchable. I highly recommend them and have done so many, many times for friends. Thanks!
I have been doing business with Euro Car Werk for 34 years. Since 1984. They have serviced and performanced tuned the engine ans suspension in both my 81 911sc and my 79 930 Turbo. Over the years Eurocar work has done performance work on my Euro BMW 745i Turbo and numerous other BMWs. Eric has always taken good care of me and the folks I have referred to him.
Great service, great folks, especially Marcus, and great pricing. I am thoroughly satisfied.
Eurocar Werk as recommended to me by a coworker in 1991 when I first moved to the Houston area when I was looking for a knowledgeable shop for my Porsche cars. Since that time, they have maintained my Porsche and Mercedes vehicles exclusively. The service writers are knowledgeable and friendly and the maintenance technicians diagnose and correct problems in a timely fashion. From my late model Mercedes to my girlfriends Range Rover to my classic Porsche, there is always a trained technician available to correct even the most obscure problems.I would readily recommend Eurocar Werk to others (and do on a regular basis) and I will continue to trust my vehicles to their care.
This shop was the reason why I sold my Porsche 928 and never looked back. Each time I brought my car in, something else broke. I spent approximately $20K here the four years that I owned that Porsche. Ive never had a desire to own a Porsche since.
EuroCar Werk correctly diagnosed a difficult situation, on my wife’s 550 SL. Price was reasonable and the repair was made quickly. Will use them again!
Replaced a bad battery in a BMW 325i....$400.00. Thats a BIG rip off. A battery costs $200 for a good one....$200 in labor for less than an hours worth of work......steer clear.
We were fortunate 5 years ago to come across Eurocar Werke having previously tried several other repair shops (including dealers). For both our somewhat dated Porsche and Mercedes, the team at Eurocar Werke has proven to be ahead of the curve in predicting potential future issues and recommending appropriate solutions for current problems (eg least costly).
They have a lifetime customer. Marcus always takes care of my automotive needs and they fix other shops mistakes. Definitely recommend bringing your vehicle here for service.
Just a short comment on the service I received for my wifes 2008 Mercedes CLK350 at Eurocar. The work was performed on time and at a reasonable cost. Would trust this shop more than the Mercedes Dealer!!!
Excellent service, professional people that know how to fix your mercedes, porsche o jaguar at fair prices
I had my 25K mile servicing done with Eric for third of the cost that Audi was going to charge for the same service. I will definitely be bring my car back to Eurocar-Werk! Thank you Eric!
I have nothing but praises for this place... Eric is one super cool and a great owner to work with. I had my Audi R8 involved in some water damage during the floods on Memorial Day in Houston, and given the amount of cars and work shops had, it took forever for shops to look at my car as only specialized techs can work on R8s. After jumping through hoops with another shop and my insurance company I took it to Eric. (his shop is on the way to my office so I knew of the place) I was suprised with how well and cool the staff were. Story short, Eric had my car diagnosed, and done in a few days. After waiting for 2 months, that was a great feeling. I have a new R8 being delivered soon, and youll be sure to know that it will now be serviced at Eurocar next. Great staff, and friendly service. these guys really know their cars, and it shows.
Took my Cayman S to Eurocar to replace the tires. They made the entire process easy including appointment, pick-up and drop-off, along with attentive service. After indifferent dealership service its refreshing to be around car guys who are as enthusastic about your baby as you are. The price was fair but it was the service that will make me come back. Minor gripe, when I picked up the car the tire pressure on the rear tires was low. Its likely they were filled hot and then when they cooled pressure was below the recommended setting. Seems like a obvious mistake to make but they quickly fixed it.
Nothing but positive experiences with Eric and the rest of the chaps at Eurocar-Werk. Great service and most importantly they have excellent knowledge of the classic air cooled Porsche.
I brought my Porsche Macan Turbo to Eurocar-Werk for performance mods. They installed the TECHART power module, lowering module, Remus full cat-back exhaust, and some cosmetic mods. Eric and his team did a great job. They took care of my vehicle and returned it to me in mint condition. I definitely recommend this shop.
I will picking up my car from Eurocar-Werk in the next couple of days and will follow-up here and elsewhere with the specifics on their diagnosis / repair, costs, quotes, customer service, and honesty - both pre and post service - of Marcus and Eric.
Prompt honest reasonable and pleasant!
Eric at Eurocar Werk ripped me off. I took my 2001 mercedes cl 500 into Eurocar - Werk cause i was having problems with the ABC and the car was also stuck in park and I need a battery. The owner Eric had the car for 2months before giving me a diagnostic. Says he didnt have a rack available to look at the car. when he did get me in he gave a price of $1200 to rebuild the gear shift and $2400 for the ABC issue(says it was the block body) and $336 for the battery. $336 for a battery Really! I decided that this was way to much money to put into this car and asked Eric to give me price on the diagnostic. He came back w/$300 for the diagnostic what a RIP OFF! After i pleaded with him on the cost of the battery and the diagnostic he let me get out of there for a total of $600. Really $600 for a battery and diagnostic!! and to top it off when i got the car back it was making a sound that it was not there b4 and now the back driver window want go all the way up. I took the car to Motor City Euro at 7420 Harwin Dr. and the owner Cash was able to fix the gearshift problem and clear all the codes so the ABC issue was temp fix allowing me to drive the car. Cash charged me a total of $600. and im back riding my benz. NO Thanks to Eurocar-Werk!!
Disappointed in a $2300 quote I received for auto A/C control repair for 2002 CLK320. Auto and fan plastic button were warned so it will not engage when pressed. Problem resolved with replacing the entire A/C face plate for $250.
Called to get a quote on Q7 TDI 55k mtc svc. Was quoted an outrageous price of $1600, due to 23 liters of ad blue that costs $68/liter. Stay away!!!!
Always an outstanding job.
Best service center
They charged $129 for an oil change for a mini cooper, more than the dealership.
Excellent service if you have a Porsche be ready to pay for great service.11-5-2021 Update I have a 2003 E500 with electrical issues instead of running up a bill they didnt charge me for the initial diagnosis. They could have and I would have paid the bill. That the best you can ask for. Great service excellent get it done attitude and honest. What more can you ask? Check it out. You will be surprised.
