Normally we have a good experience using these guys but when my daughter took her car in for an oil change. One of the guys thought it was a good idea to tell her that “she needed” to do all kinds of other services with a final total. I can understand recommending services but not “you need to”. We have used these this location for about 9 years. If this is how the new name does business, we can take our vehicles somewhere else.

Everyone was extremely professional and helpful. They found a nail in my tire that Was missed by another shop. I was told I needed an alignment but they were able to show me how everything was fine and I didn’t actually need an alignment. Great to know I have an honest mechanic to go to.

AC was serviced prior to a long hot trip to CA. Process was done before the end of day even though I brought the car in at 3:30. It blows nice and cool now. Appreciate the quick job and the manager and techs were friendly. Definitely will go back if I need more auto work done.

Made appointment Friday afternoon for service Saturday 8AM. Sun Team diagnosed the electronics problem, located parts & successfully completed the repair all before 2 PM, same day! Two car dealers service (XX) would not even give us an appointment day for 4 to 6 days, then only maybe diagnosis, then days to order parts, then perhaps days to complete! Sun Automotive knows customer service where others only give merely lip service not action with results!

This has been a location that I have used several times with very good service. If you can be very specific in what you want done, they are good. But this was the second time they have offered addition needed repairs I di not ask for at an exceedingly high cost. $100 for two parts and $250 for an hour of service to install. Not a business that I will use again. And to top off the extra service fee, I had to wait 25 minutes for the service manage - Nick to get out of the bathroom and help and then they did not get my name correct.

Louetta Automotive has good prices on synthetic oil changes if you purchase the buy 3 get 5 package. Those packages come with free tire balance and rotation. It is conveniently located right off Louetta. However, because it is convenient, so many of their customers use their services on Saturday, like me, and it makes for a long wait. Usually, if I arrive (first come first serve) around 9 or 10 am on Saturday, I will wait at least 2 hours. Whereas with Honda, I can get a loaner car if I schedule in advance.

I took my car here for an inspection and found out that they are now Sun Auto (previously Louetta Automotive). Mostly the same people and still good service. Even though I do a lot of the service myself, I wouldnt hesitate to take my car here for anything that I couldnt do myself.

Ive been coming here for years now. They are very close, always polite and well mannered, no matter who I deal with there. Very friendly group - and the thing I love about them - no matter how busy they seem to be - they always seem to be able to get you in/out in a pretty timely manner. New team at desk when I arrived. Nate, new manager, introduced himself and gave me the rundown on the changes at Louetta Automotive. I got the estimate for repairing driver side door as I had to lower window to open door. Got call with estimate and gave go ahead. Car was ready within 3 hours. Reasonable pricing and they honored a coupon I found in a drawer.

Derrick and Anthony has excellent customer service skills. In this industry women are sometimes taken advantage of but the pricing has always been comparable to others. I work close and dont have the headache of bringing my vehicle in for service and having the worry of having someone the drive with me to pickup or drop off my vehicle they either pick-up or drop off myself or my vehicle. I was offered a shuttle service to take me home (and also pick me up) since repairs were expected to take a few hours. I would definitely recommend this location.

Zero stars is not an option. I have used this auto shop since moving to the Houston area in 2015 and never had any problems. However, it was recently sold and is under new management and I will not be going back. They have lost a loyal customer. I would drive 30 minutes across town to go to this shop prior to the change in management. Now I will be looking for reliable service close to home. The first time I tried to take my car in with the new management, there was total chaos going on and they could not even figure out how to look up my vehicle in the system. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and came back a week later. They told me it would be a couple hours and I said I knew and would wait on it. When it had been 2.5 hours and no one had come to give me an update, I approached the sales manager. He then told me they were waiting on parts and would be another hour and went in his office and closed the door. The other sales manager tried to gaslight me and and blame me for the wait when I again asked for an update after another hour had past. He said it was my fault the wait was so bad because I refused to accept his offer to be taken home. Whether I am at home or in the customer lounge has no bearing on the matter. And I absolutely will not tolerate gaslighting. Not to mention how I had to call off work due to the delays. He then told me it would be at least another hour and I should be grateful they are rushing it for me because the allotted time in the computer is two hours. The sales managers then left the mechanic to apologize to me for their incompetence and poor customer service. I explained to the mechanic in front of the sales managers that he did not need to apologize to me as he did nothing wrong and that it was the others who need to have provided me with accurate information and updates regarding my wait time. And after all that, I still have a sensor light on and will be having to pay someone else to sort it out.

A $54 oil change became $75.10. Had previous service at Walmart for $48.60.

I started using them a couple of years ago, and never regretted it. They’re always friendly, the pricing is reasonable, and they don’t try to sell you on anything. It’s always to the point.

Staff was very professional and didnt give me the sketchy vibe I sometimes get at auto shops like this. The bolts came out of my brake caliper while driving to work, so they bolted it back on and replaced a couple brake pads for me. I really liked that they worked on what I came there to fix instead of trying to upsell me on unnecessary repairs/maintenance. They also completed my inspection immediately after. Id definitely reccomend them👍🏾

It was only after Louetta Automotive diagnosed the issue to being related to some other work I have had done on the car that they assured me that it would not keep me from passing inspection. Afraid to ask, I asked what the charge was for the diagnostics, and they told me there was no charge after looking at a few things my light could be related to.Very pleased with their service and hospitality, I went ahead and had them perform the inspection then and there. It was done quickly and cheaper than I think Ive ever paid for an inspection. Honest workers here. Ive been coming here for minor issues for several years, and will continue to give them my business after my experience yesterday.I appreciate you guys!

This was my first time visiting. Everyone that I came in contact was very friendly. The customer service was amazing.Told me what other repairs I needed for my car. Did a 21 point inspection and found nothing wrong In report. Rotated the tires; did indicate that I needed tires a long with a frontend alignment. After the visit I ended up with a transmission leak.Took it back down their to let know about the leak.Only to get do you wanna leave your car? When I said this leak did not exist before I visit for my oil changed. The employer turn his back.I will never step foot in there again.

Came to get a simple inspection, left car there and went to run errands. An hour later they called and said car was almost ready. Arrived,, paid, found out it had not even been started. Waited another 45 minutes until ready. They misled me and wasted an hour of my time that day. Time is fleeting and the most precious commodity I have. Wont be back.

The staff here is great. They have done some work on my car and spent the time to answer all my questions to make sure I was comfortable with what was being done. They kept me informed the entire time, and when the work was done even offered to pick me up to get my car. They have never pressured me to do work, and when they recommend some maintenance work they let me decide the time frame to get it done.
