I had been dress shopping at a couple other places before coming to Ivory Bridal and they were one of the best experiences, if not the best! I felt like a bride for the first time there. Mary was my consultant and she was simply amazing! She nailed it with the very first gown I tried on but we still tried on various different silhouettes, styles, fabrics etc. Mary was very knowledgeable and such a pleasure to work with all around. I have had an absolutely amazing experience with Ivory Bridal. I had an appointment with Laura back in June and she was fantastic to work with. I came in thinking I had already found another dress at anothet store I loved, but Laura was able to pull dresses that opened my eyes to something completely different and more beautiful. She was kind, patient, and listened to what I wanted. I did not feel pressured, or rushed at all. I am hopefully getting my dress soon, but in the meantime, Laura and everyone at Ivory have been communicative and helpful. Ivory is definitely the place to go!

I love their process of allowing brides to choose dresses with pins and combining those choices with the consultants choices. Mary was simply FANTASTIC!! My first and only dress shop I’ve been to, to find a dress for my special day and she was absolutely amazing. She helped truly figure out what I was looking for and nailed it! She made a point to listen to my every concern and picked a dress I didn’t even think to try on. She never rushed us, and would not let me settle for anything less than what I imagined my dream dress to be. She comforted me when I was emotional and directed me when I was hesitant. I found my dream dress here and I do not really have a problem with this place but rather the sales rep that I worked with, Mary. She was very sweet when greeting us and helped with dress fitting. You can tell she is really trying hard to sell the dresses which is fine by me but what made the entire shopping experience a disaster is that the moment you put down payment to secure 2 dresses, she becomes an indifferent person and loses interest on you. She forgot to secure my appointment and the day when I proactively contacted her to confirm, she said there is no opening time slot so I had to go and try my dress at a really small room because other rooms were taken. I always need to triple check with her to make sure she is getting back with the information I need. I even had to call her twice so that she can remember to send a copy of the contract to me. One time she mentioned that she had to check with the manager and would get back to me in 2 days. I had to call her after a week only to be told that she talked to her manager and she could not help with certain things. I understand that she is very busy during the popular season but I am only expecting bare minimum from her not like asking her to shoot the moon for me. Really poor customer service. Once we bought the dress, she gave us a really small bag to put the dress in and even the alternation place (Laura Couture) got really surprised on how small the bag is for the dress and they had to change it to a larger one.

Shelby went above and beyond to make my experience unforgettable. From the moment I was greeted upon entry, to my fittings, and booking a second appointment I cannot say thank you enough to Ivory Bridal and Shelby for their hospitality, warmth, time and attention.

They have the best bridal gown selection in Houston! The store is very nicely setup. They stock the best dresses - and it is not a massive store so you dont have to search through 1000s of dresses. The girls at the store are extremely helpful as well. Overall a wonderful experience and highly recommend.

Ivory Bridal has such a great selection of dresses and incredible customer service. While I didnt ultimately purchase my gown from this salon, I had a last minute emergency 50 days before my wedding and they did everything they could to help me find the gown I wanted. Ivory Bridal was the first stop on my hunt for the perfect wedding gown. Shelby was so helpful: she is like a gown sherpa. She was so patient in teaching me about wedding dresses and let me try on a billion different styles. It was hard to top our experience with Shelby at Ivory Bridal. Although I didnt end up buying my dress from Ivory, I was so impressed with their service and selection that I just have to let the world know.

Ivory Bridal created such a magical dress shopping experience. These ladies definitely know what they are doing. Your very own team of wedding gown curators will help you find your DREAM dress. Laura was so sweet and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. We were greeted with champagne and given a tour around the store. She also helped me stick to my budget. The dressing rooms are large and give a perfect amount of privacy from other parties. Note: The store is located on the 2nd floor near the escalators.

The saler was respectful, made us feel comfortable and was on point on everything with the exception of 3 things which will be mention below.The only sad part was that the area we were at trying on dresses. The first floor was not what we saw on the pictures from the website and definitely not what we expected see and experience.Little details that made a big difference is what made give 3 stars.1st - The little basket that was given to pin the dresses was super dirty. Like the basket was suppose to be ivory not brown.2nd- The place were my friend was trying on the dresses was not clean at all and there was no space to put her things.3rd- She was welcome in the 2nd floor which is the fancy and clean area. Then she was taken to the 1st floor ( she felt down graded at this point and completely changed her experience).

Although I didn’t go with Ivory Bridal for my dress, I have to shout out Shelby for being SO awesome! She was kind, thoughtful, easy going, and very helpful. Thanks so much Shelby! I’ll definitely recommend to my friends and family getting married ☺️

This place gave me the best bridal experience I could have ever asked for. I went to a few other bridal places after this, but they just didnt compare. The location is great, the Interior is beautiful, and they have the best selection of designer dresses. Jasmine was very attentive to my needs and what I was looking for and she did an amazing job at making me feel special in the dresses that I chose for my wedding day. She has such an amazing personality and was very fun and easy to talk to. I recommend Jasmine for any new bride that walks into this bridal shop. My experience at Ivory Bridal Atelier was nothing short of perfect! I went in to look for a dress right as things started closing down due to COVID-19 and even with only being able to bring 2 guests, I had the best experience thanks to Laura and the staff. The shop is intimate and not as overwhelming as some of the larger shops and they kept it very clean and adhered to cleanliness and distancing in light of the virus. They have a variety of beautiful dresses, but Laura helped me find the perfect one for my special day in December. I cant wait for it to be ready for pick up. I highly recommend this bridal shop!

Ivory bridal did an amazing job helpings me find the dress! I tried on at least 25 dresses to make sure I knew what exact style I wanted and had no regrets. Shelby did an awesome job helping me find the perfect dress. She was so personable and fun! I actually went back 2 days later to try the dresses on that you can buy off the rack. Shelby was super helpful through this whole process. I ended up picking a beautiful gown that she pulled for me. Ivory bridal even gave me another appointment to get fitted and another one to do the official say yes to the dress on with family! They have dresses for all kinds of budgets and this was my favorite store. I only went to 1 other place after ivory bridal because I had such a great experience and knew I had found the perfect dress with them! I’m so glad I went there. The staff is awesome and even gave me recommendations for other wedding planning things we had talked about while I was trying on dresses, which was really helpful as I planned my wedding.

Ivory Bridal is a clean and organized bridal atelier. Shelby was patient, helpful and knowledgeable. Overall, this was the best bridal shopping experience that I had in Houston, New York and New Jersey. I ended up purchasing my dress here. I have been back for tulle samples, questions about veil length etc and every time they are very willing to help, even when they are not getting anything out of it. It was such a lovely experience working with Laura from Ivory Bridal. During these challenging COVID-19 times and as one future bride can imagine, it has been a very difficult time to find the perfect wedding dress due to all the current restrictions in place. I was on the hunt for a Galia dress and after receiving a call from Laura, I set an appointment to come try on some dresses from one of Galia’s trunk shows they were having at the store. Even though only 2 guests were allowed with me and masks were required, we all made the best of it! I am so thankful to Laura for seeing me so many times - twice with my best friends, another with my mother and future mother-in-law, and again to get my measurements taken one on one. She was patient, sweet, funny, and very understanding. She helped me get some dresses (that they did not have in the trunk show) shipped in from California and has been so patient and helpful through the entire process. She’s gone back and forth with the designer to help me get the dress of my DREAMS (many customizations later...) and I am beyond grateful for her exceptional customer service and excitement through it all. My appointment with ivory bridal was actually an accident. I thought I was calling another store to confirm my appointment, somehow, I ended up with an appt to their bridal store. I was paired with Jasmine, and she was such a pleasure to work it. I honestly dont know how she deals with so many clients daily and remain so professional.I was there in January before Covid struck. Jasmine was very good at her job. She allowed me time to explore each option, but still kept the appointment moving.I ended choosing an outfit I didnt think I would like, but it looked amazing on me!!! They have such an extensive selection, and everything they carry can be customized to fit exactly what you are looking for in a wedding dress. Yesterday I found my dream dress! My consultant was Laura and she was AHHHMAZING. I went in originally for the pop-up shop, as I thought with my budget I wouldn’t be able to find anything. But Laura found me what felt like endless dresses to try on. She didn’t let me settle only trying on what I thought I liked; she made sure I tried on literally every single style to be sure I was confident with my decision. She took her time picking options for me, we even went over my appointment time and she did not mention it once. To our funny surprise, I actually chose the very first dress I tried on and that she chose for me. She made this very indecisive girl into a confident decision maker. She made me feel so comfortable and so not rushed and not pressured. That was so relieving to me and important in making such a huge decision. I will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family for years to come. I’m so excited for my wedding day!

What a lovely bridal boutique! We had such an amazing and incredible experience with Laura at Ivory Bridal! Laura is professional, listens to the bride and is able to almost be a mind reader! She is extremely intuitive and we enjoyed our time with her at Ivory Bridal!

My experience at Ivory Bridal was fantastic. Laura is a lovely associate who made my appointment enjoyable and informative. She and the other associates I interacted with were all very knowledgeable about the designers, the dresses, possible changes to the dress. I appreciated the atmosphere as well - upbeat and celebratory but not at all overwhelming. They know what theyre doing here!

After visiting 3 other bridal salons in Houston and not being satisfied with the selection of dresses or the service received at the other salons, I made an unannounced visit into Ivory. Even though they are a reservations only salon, they were so kind to fit me. Shelby was attentive but not pushy, in tune with what I wanted but gave me options to consider. Her approach was all around perfect and just suited to what I needed. I found 3 dresses I liked (at other salons I had found 1, if that), and since have made several more visits back and have been able to narrow down my picks to my final choice! Ivory is a must visit salon for any bride-to-be!

A little late to the review game but my experience with Ivory Bridal Atelier was absolutely amazing. I saw a dress on Instagram that I thought for sure was going to be the one. I was able to find the designer was carried at Ivory and promptly made an appointment 2 weeks after I got engaged. Once we got there my friend and I were greeted by one of their consultants, I believe it was Shelby. The dress I wanted to try on was there and I was so excited. We were able to make other dress selections with color clothes pins that she pulled for me as well. Surprisingly, or not, the dress I went for was not the one I left with. Shelby actually ended up picking the winner and she absolutely nailed it. They were very respectful of the budget I had stated at the beginning of the appointment and even removed a couple dresses that exceeded that limit before I even had the chance to put them on. From start to finish the staff and our consultant were so personable, efficient, fun, and so very kind! I found the dress that was meant to be mine that day. I never felt pressured to purchase or make a choice if I was not ready. After ordering the gown they were so accommodating when my parents came to visit and we were able to return to see the dress and try on some accessories. Now, 2 months after my wedding, I still rave about the experience I had with this team. they truly are wonderful and this is an excellent place to include on the list of bridal salons to check out in the Houston Area.

My biggest advice for brides would be to get everything in writing, and to see the items youre ordering. The veil came in a lot different than explained, and my dress came in 3 to 4 sizes too big. I cant say enough great things about the alterations place that we went to. They are helping so much in this extremely stressful situation. Since the dress came in later than anticipated when we first purchased, I did have to pay rush fees on top of my alterations, after paying rush fees to get the dress. After purchasing the dress, I felt 2nd place to the brides in store that hadnt even purchased a dress. I had to make a new appointment to try on the dress when it came in, because they were full and understaffed when I came to pick it up. When I came back to try on the dress, they double booked the appointment, so I felt extremely rushed through. They also wouldnt let me take a photo in the dress I had purchased in front of their mirrors due to it being a liability, and that another bride could spill chocolate on it. Ive had many friends order with this designer in other states at different stores, and this is not their experience. Im sad that my buying experience was lackluster, extremely costly due to fixing the dress + rush fees, and they didnt seem to want to help to fix anything. They said they would contact the alterations about fabric, but that was weeks ago, and have yet to hear from the bridal store. BRIDES BEWARE: I would drive to another city to buy the same dress for a better experience, and actual customer service.

I had an awesome experience at Ivory Bridal Atelier! I went in not at all expecting to purchase anything...in fact I was considering getting my gown custom made. It was my second time at a bridal salon and i was by myself, So I was visiting the store to really nail down the silhouette I wanted. However, they do have some amazing designers in the store so of course lots of beautiful dresses!! There was one I was immediately drawn too that was somewhat different than what I expected I wanted. I tried it on and kept comparing everything to it so i knew there was something about it! My attendant Claire was awesome. She understood areas I wanted to accentuate vs hide and provided her honest opinion. They also provide champagne and cookies while you try on the dress, in a private little room. While trying dresses on, you can walk out to the open area to see it in a 360 mirror and natural light. Claire and her manager were really helpful because I had LOTS of questions about the process, fittings, etc. The salon also offers 10% off if you purchase on your first visit so I was able to purchase the gown with the discount and the designer was having a sale that weekend as well!!! I had a great experience!

I purchased my wedding dress from Ivory Bridal, and I could not be happier with the dress or my experience! Shelby was patient, and wonderful to work with. She pulled dresses that worked with my body, and was open to all of my feedback. She never pushed me to try on a dress, or select a dress, based on what she thought was best. I was really appreciative of her approach to my appointment, as it was the first time I had tried on any wedding dresses! We were only a handful of dresses in, when I found the one. Shelby helped me add elements to the dress that made it unique and one-of-a-kind. Its amazing to know that my dress will only be worn by me! She also didnt think I was crazy when I walked out of the salon purchasing a gown that I swore I would not buy! If you are looking for a place to buy a wedding gown, do not hesitate to look for on at Ivory Bridal! Do note: Ivory Bridal offers Couture wedding gowns-they run at a bit of a higher price. I walked by this store for over 2 years on my way to the gym and I would always admire the gorgeous dresses in the window. The actual store itself is also gorgeous, clean white lines and beautiful chandeliers. I finally booked an appointment for my wedding dress and it was such a wonderful experience! I worked with Sarah and she was delightful, I also worked with the manager when I put down my deposit. The size of the store is deceiving, while it looks small they have such a large selection of dresses, in all different styles and price ranges. I ended up finding my dress here and am so happy my choice. I would most definitely recommend coming here for your wedding gown search, it might be the last place you look!

I found my dress here in one day. There was a large selection of beautiful dresses. Shelby was very helpful and knowledgable about the dresses and how they could be customized. The salon itself was very nice. We had a wonderful experience overall.

I wish I had skipped all the other bridal shops and just come straight here!!! They are incredibly helpful (without being too pushy), and even though I was super indecisive, they helped me find a perfect dress that I loved! They know every dress they have, and they have TONS!! I thought I never was going to find the dress for me until walking into Ivory Bridal. I searched high & below at over 10 stores here in Houston and nothing. Thankfully I went to Ivory Bridal and found several to choose from. I recommend here for your dream dress!

I got engaged in April and started the dress search in May. Initially, I wasn’t too excited about dress shopping because it is such a daunting task during early wedding planning. There are so many options out there and a lot of pressure to find the one that accents the right places and hides all the flaws, on top of trying to stay within budget. So I was very overjoyed I found Shelby and Ivory Bridal Atelier!I went to a Galia Lahav trunk show with the intention of only looking with my bridesmaids but I found the dress of my dreams! I didn’t expect to find it so soon. At Ivory, all the dresses are couture so you can have it made to your liking with your exact measurements. Not only will the dress fit you like a glove, Ivory can alter/add certain features to your dress: necklines, sleeves, pearl back buttons/back/backless, etc. Case in point: I wanted a long sleeved dress (I’m having a winter wedding) and Shelby told me any one of the dresses in the store can be long sleeved! They are flexible communicating your wishes to the designer so you can really get a dress that hits every single box on your checklist here.Shelby was really helpful and patient with me as I tried on dress after dress and keeping the bridal party happy with snacks and champagne. Ivory makes it such a fun experience. Highly recommended!

My experience at Ivory Bridal was absolutely excellent! Laura was really helpful, patient, determined, charismatic, and cheerful and so was the rest of the staff who helped me with my selection. They embraced my every want and need as well as my large party of onlookers. Ivory also had the most beautiful dresses I saw during my wedding dress shopping escapades! My first experience was very disappointing. My appointment time was scheduled from 3-4pm. When we arrived, they had us waiting until 3:30 pm because they did not have another dressing room available. Even though I explained to them that I would have to leave here by 4 for my next appointment, they were not very accommodating at all. I had to come back a second time since my first appointment time was cut in half. My second experience was amazing. I worked with Clare, and she went above and beyond my expectations. Clare was wonderful to work with. She helped me from start to finish. When I was ready to purchase my dress, the manager offered to extend the discount since I did not have enough time during my first appointment, which was a plus! Everything here were great other than their time management. I was told that my dress would be ready by the beginning to mid March, but it was not ready until a week after the promised time. I was planning on having my bridal portraits done in the beginning of April, and now, that will have to be delayed.

I highly recommend this boutique if you are looking for your dream wedding dress and a wonderful fitting experience with your loved ones! The ladies at Ivory Bridal are truly one of a kind.

Not only did I find my dream dress, but I had a great experience doing it! I have to admit that I was a bit nervous to try on wedding gowns as I am a curvier bride to be, but it was a great experience with the ladies of Ivory! My attendant made me feel beautiful in every dress I tried on, even the ones that she had to work even harder to get me in to ;) I cant wait to pick up my dress and veil next week!

I am not a very girly person and was worried this place would be too stuffy and it turned out I found my dress that same day! I had Jasmine Chau as my stylist and she helped me find the dress of my dreams. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. 3/4 sisters have gotten our dresses here now!

I had the most wonderful experience working with Shelby! She made my time at Ivory the most fun and I felt so incredibly special while I was there. I truly felt like a bride. She pulled probably 30 dresses for me and never made me feel like I was wasting her time. I probably spent 2 hours with her my first visit and she was so kind and patient with every single dress I put on. You could tell how genuine she was in helping me find my perfect dress. Very happy to be getting my wedding dress from Ivory. As someone who didnt know much about wedding dress shopping, they made the process a lot of fun, so it wasnt overwhelming at all. They have a fantastic selection of dresses (I must have tried on about 20) and a wonderful team of consultants. My dress has come in exactly on time, and I cant wait to see it again!

I absolutely loved my experience working with Ivory Bridal! I visited a number of bridal boutiques in Houston and left feeling rushed and overwhelmed by the options. Sarah was the complete opposite. She was very patient and very helpful in helping me narrow down my choices and helping me find a dress that was comfortable and that worked with my venue. I live in LA but my family is in NY and Philadelphia. I spent months looking in all three cities and finally came to Houston for Thanksgiving to visit my Fiances family and we did a day hitting up the best wedding dress stores in town. This was our last stop of the day and I was almost ready to call it quits but when I walked in, I was overwhelmed by all of the incredible selection. After months of searching across the country, I was pleased and stunned to have found my dress here! The staff was incredible, providing and amazing shopping experience for my mom and future mother in law. The selection was great! If you are searching in Houston, I suggest you add Ivory Bridal to your appointment list, it was definitely worth the trip!

I had the BEST experience at Ivory Bridal. I had already been to 2 different bridal boutiques the day before and had decent experiences and figured I would just settle on a dress. FORTUNATELY, I decided I would go to my third appointment even though I was exhausted and in a bit of a rush. Little to my surprise, I had a completely different experience at Ivory Bridal than I did at the other boutiques. As soon as I walked in I felt like a princess and knew I would be buying my dress that day. They had SO many options and I found exactly what I wanted. All of the girls helping me were sooo sweet, and I cannot wait to go back when my dress comes in :)

I have had wonderful experiences at Ivory! When I first got engaged, I went to ivory on my own to look and see what was out there. I had a really fun afternoon drinking champagne and trying on beautiful gowns and getting a sense of what I liked. They have so many gorgeous gowns, and you know that if a gown is at Ivory, it is excellent quality. I found a lot of gowns I loved in my price range including Lazaro, Anne Barge, and Rivini. There was one particular Anne Barge dress I really loved and was in the back of my mind after that.When my mom came to Houston to help me find THE dress, I knew we had to go back to Ivory. It was by far the most luxurious bridal experience we had. We had the cutest private room with Champagne and little brownies. I ended up saying yes to the Anne Barge dress I couldnt forget about from the time before! Pilar helped me this day and she was so personable and sweet! Shelby helped me the time before, and she is also really insightful and asks really great questions for you to figure out what you like and dont like about gowns so you can get closer to finding the one! I was also impressed at how well they did at keeping my budget in mind and only suggested gowns in budget when they pulled ones I hadnt picked out myself.Overall, I had an amazing experience shopping at Ivory and would definitely recommend it to any brides to be searching for the dress in Houston!

I had THE best experience at Ivory Bridal Atelier. I had been to quite a few bridal boutiques in Dallas and Houston prior to my appointment here. They had a wonderful selection of beautiful dresses! I couldn’t recommend them more!

I had such an amazing experience at Ivory Bridal Atelier. They have a BEAUTIFUL selection of dresses, and offer refreshments and champagne while you shop. We actually went back the week after my first appointment for the Galia Lahav trunk show, and I found my perfect dress. Given that I just had one of my best friends and my mom with me, they offered us to have a big reveal for the people who could not be there to see it. They went above & beyond to make me feel special and I cannot wait to see the final product!

I found my beautiful wedding gown at Ivory! They were by far the classiest boutique I visited in the search for my gown. The customer service is also incredible - I stopped in on a Saturday after I purchased my gown inquiring about changing the length of the veils train. The saleslady told me she would call the designer first thing Tuesday morning when they open again. I expected they would forget about my request over the weekend... but sure enough Tuesday morning Ivory called me telling me they spoke to the designer and were able to address my request!

Theres definitely a difference between Ivory Bridal and other wedding dress stores in Houston. This place makes the experience seem personal, high end and frankly like the movies taught us to expect it be (with champagne!) That being said, the dresses here are pricier and Im happy that the ladies do a good job of respecting your budget so you dont fall in love with a $7000+ gown (which was my biggest fear). Anyways, I was able to find the perfect gown thanks to the team there, (because yes I was pretty difficult and went there a couple of times), and I so look forward to getting to wear it on my wedding day. Tip: They do size you up a bit just in case, so make sure you feel comfortable with the size ordered to avoid so much alterations.

We had to wait a little while before they could help. Once the appointment started, they gave us the option to choose from the selection in the showroom. What made it go to the next level is they listened to what style was desired and brought out selections that we would not have selected but looked even better. They are extremely helpful about finding the right dress.

The selection is incredible. The consultants are all remarkable and patient. Shelby put me in every dress I wanted to make sure I was trying on a wide variety. She made the entire visit so enjoyable and I would recommend anyone to go here to find their wedding dress! Shelby fully understood how much it meant to me to have a dress that no one else had (sounds ridiculous, I know), but she took the time to try combinations and add pieces that made my dress so so special. Even when the dress was ready, Shelby made sure to have me try it on. I guarantee that no matter what, you will receive a quality dress and that the consultants (especially Shelby) will work to ensure the experience and dress is perfect for you!!

I went to a few different boutiques around town and Im so happy I was able to find my dream dress at Ivory. Clare was super patient and great to work with. I was able to find my dress and veil here and cant wait til the big day!

I just went to a sample sale at Ivory Bridal and I had a wonderful experience. Since it was a sample sale I had 5 minutes to pick dresses (up to 5) and 30 minutes to try them on. The selection had varying styles (strapless, ball gown, a-line, lace, satin, beading, etc). I tried on 4 out of the 5 dresses I picked, and all 4 fit perfectly. I was in love with the first one I tried on, but I honestly couldve gone with any of the others. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I give them 2 thumbs way up.I suggest if you go to the sample sale, go early. Mine started at 11 AM and I was there around 9:40 and was 3rd in line :)

This place is fabulous! I went to one other place before hand and just by chance called in and they had an appointment at Ivory. All the girls were fantastic, took their time to understand what I was looking for and helped me find my dream dress!

Having been to two other stores to find my dress, I knew I was in the right place when I went to Ivory. The customer care - not service because its beyond just helping - but the attention to detail, getting to know my style and respecting my wants and budget, I couldnt have asked for a better place. Would recommend this place to anyone in search of the perfect dress and perfect dress shopping experience.

I haven’t picked up my dress yet, but I very much enjoyed the try on/buying process. This was the 3rd store I went to in Houston, and was the middle in terms of cost of dresses. They were the most patient and pulled the most options. I was down to 2 styles after an hour and my consultant let me keep going back and forth as many times until I was sure. The manager also got involved and brought me more picks based off what I said I liked. They truly want to help you find the right dress for you and did not make me feel pressured in the process. Nothing but wonderful things to say so far!

I love Ivory Bridal. Out of all the many places I looked, they had, hands-down, the best selection. They hit that sweet spot of beautiful, unique dresses at the right range of prices. I tried them on a whim, thinking they were too expensive for me, and then was very pleasantly surprised. The best part is the service—everyone who works at ivory is fantastic. There to do anything you need, but zero pressure. They dealt with me coming back multiple times to try on dresses and try to make up my mind! Highly recommend.

I was referred to Ivory by a friend of mine who ordered her dress from this store. I had gone to a couple of other stores before this so I was familiar with what I was looking for.The ladies were all super sweet and helpful throughout the apppointment. They did make sure to ask me what I wanted/didn’t want and we made selections based on that. At the beginning of the appointment, the consultant had asked what my budget was so we could stay “respectful” of it. I shared that with her and she let me know if I picked any dresses above my budget she would let me know. This was where the downfall was, I picked a gown unknowingly above my budget and was told nothing. They let me try on twice because I was liking it so much without letting me know it was over $2,000 over my stated price point. After finding out the price, the associate offered me a “same day” discount if I purchased the day of the appointment. The discount still left me $1,300+ over my budget not including the price of alterations. There was a ton of pressure to put down a deposit to “hold” the discount. I asked them for more time to think, they wouldn’t budge without a deposit. I did not appreciate this method of sale and made a decision to walk away with out the dress.I went back a few days later to a different store and completed the purchase of my wedding gown pressure free. I am very happy with my choice!I did receive a voicemail from them a week after my appointment saying that they would still honor the discount but by then I had already made the other purchase. So really all the pressure was quite unnecessary and very stressful for me.While this store is lovely and has a great dress selection, I would advise any bride going to make sure they are staying respectful of the budget stated at the beginning of the appointment. In addition, there are plenty of places to go that don’t put all this “same day” purchase pressure on you!! Good luck all you brides looking for your dream gown!!

This store has great lighting and you can really appreciate the design and sparkle of the dresses. All the girls were super nice. I went to all of my appointments alone and they almost felt like friends. I didnt feel pressure to buy a dress at all. I had gone to so many stores that by the time I got to Ivory Bridal I really knew what I wanted and was ready to find it. I had gone to a bridal store the day before and found a dress that was the closest to what I wanted. I explained what I wanted to the girls and I proceeded to make some selections from the store. Of course, because they know their dresses so well the one that ended up being the one was a selection they made for me to try on. Sooo... I said yes to the dress at Ivory Bridal Atelier!I think I went to every store in Houston and the surrounding area. All stores had a great selection of dresses and were really sweet and helpful (except AMORE bridal also known as The Bridal Depot)Thank you again Ivory Bridal Atelier!!
