Always a challenge to park, yet always a place. We go out of our way to get a Crêpe at CoCo Crêpes when we visit H-Town. Not sure why were drawn to this location. Just feels good there. Service is always polite, friendly & in reasonable time. If you’re in a hurry, shame on you. That means you’ll race through your meal instead of savoring your Turmeric latté or your delightful cold brewed coffee before a delicate Crêpe, prepared to perfection is served. You’ll also miss the complex flavors in store for you. Slow down! Un-buckle your seatbelt. Relax. Get ready for a European good time. Savor every aspect of your experience from the folks to the fare. Every Crêpe is made to order. CoCo will be your favorite Crêpe shop !
Food is always freshly made and tastes delish!! Services is also friendly, helpful, and cooperative. And atmosphere is very pleasant and soothing!
Excellent crepes!Excellent ice cream!Great choice for a different snack!
We try to eat at Cocos every week, because we want them to never, ever go out of business! One day I want to have tried every item on the menu, but my favorites are the smoked salmon crepe and the Nutella/strawberry crepe. Their cappuccinos are fantastic too. Cant go wrong with Cocos.
Cocos has a friendly staff, and great coffee! (They use Katz coffee beans, I believe). Plenty of seating, cozy interior, and really satisfying crepes and sandwiches. I highly recommend for a relaxing and casual hangout and food. Plus, its in Rice Village so its in a fun location.
Would have given 5 stars, but they never brought the food to the car. I just left MD Anderson with my family and heard this place was great so we decided to try them out. We ordered 3 Chicken & Spinach Crepes (which were delicious) for curbside takeout. We couldnt dine in because of health concerns for family members. I ordered online including tip, called when instructed, staff waved to me to verify vehicle, and said the will bring it out when ready. 20mins later.... we had to go inside & pick it up, was told they forgot we were outside waiting.
Love love love, always delicious. Short wait. Wide selection of both savory and sweet. Large portions. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. I recommend the beef bourguinon~
Good coffee. I havent tried any other menu items though.
Excellent food! Pleasant staff. The food was surprisingly quite filling for a fancier venue. Also was served super hot. Great place!
Great little place that has an ungodly array of both sweet and savory Crépes and gourmet coffee for starters. Had a savory crèpe and it was absolutely delicious 😋
Facilities need to be better. Bathrooms need to be updated, broken chairs, upholstery broken and faded. For the price of the food there the facilities should be top notch. Service was great and the food was good.
Nice place. Quiet and comfortable. Loved the fact they werent blaring loud music like so many places do, especially for a Sun brunch. Food ordered was very good. Service was good as well. Would recommend.
I never would have thought to put that combination of foods together and expect it to be good, but it was great! Nom Nom.Staff didnt really understand us very well, and didnt know what salsa was, but they were friendly. Will likely go back.
I would give this place a better review if the first thing I noticed wasnt the flys locked in the display case.
Conveniently located. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced menu with nice variety of items.
Such a lovely place! The coffee & crepes are absolutely divine and super filling! It wasnt until after I devoured my crepe that I thought I should have taken a photo. The food presentation is amazing too. Its a great space to study, get work done, and/or meet up with people. 10/10 recommend and I will definitely be returning!
My wife and I love this place. Always great food and the coffee is the best in Houston.
Love this place! Were visiting down from Tulsa and like to eat local when we are on vacation. This place is awesome!
Saturday morning came here for waffles but their machine was not in service.....so I had crepes instead, one Mediterranean plus one Nutella and strawberry, both were pretty good size and tasty. They also have icecream and coffee.Cashier and service were fast, efficient and friendly.Very small, tight parking.
This is a cute restaurant with a nice outdoor seating area, but the crepes are just okay. The crepe itself is a bit doughy (maybe theyre pre-made?). The experience is more like a pancake than a crepe.I ordered a Mediterranean crepe (dried tomatoes, feta, kalamata olives) - the filling was incredibly salty. The salmon crepe includes cream cheese, which melts throughout, resulting in an extremely heavy, rich, overly creamy plate. The sausage in the Moroccan sausage crepe was very flavorful (not too spicy), but the overall dish was monochromatic: every bite tasted the same, and the mushrooms didnt really go.They have free WiFi, and they take credit cards.
Very rich and sweet not filling but a delightful experience
Realy enjoyed it! Good flavor and clean peaceful environment.
We LOVE this place! Food is always on point! I am not a fan of all of the dishes but that is personal taste preference. My fav are the waffle or the cinnamon and brown sugar crepe. Perfect every time. They also make a decent latte. Which is strangely hard to find. We frequent when we are planning on spending some time at the zoo.
Best service in the area, food is great, service amazing. Highly recommended. I would give them more than 5 stars.
Not fresh ingredients. Strawberries in the Nutella crepe were not fresh sliced and did not taste good at all and couldn’t taste any Nutella it just tasted like chocolate sauce. I also got a gelato in a cone and the cone was stale. We will not be back. This was on 7/2/21 @ 8:30 at night.
Delicious desserts. Next time I will have to try their food.
Coco Crepes is perfection! I have been here twice in 6 months and each time the experience has been nothing but amazing! The servers are helpful and very nice. The food arrived both times fairly quickly and was warm and presented very elegantly. Pictured in this review is my order of the savory Chicken an spinach crepe and the sweet make your own with banana and peanut butter with Chocolate sauce. The savory chicken and spinach crepe comes with (off course) chick and spinach as well as mushrooms topped with a basil pesto aioli and some arugala on top. It is surprisingly very filling and has a great flavor profile. This dish is really a joy to have! Its a must try for anyone who wants a filing dish with great flavor! For my sweet crepe I ordered a make your own with banana and peanut butter with Chocolate sauce. The layers of peanut butter were very thin but plenty in the multi-layer crepe. The combination of peanut butter with banana was very filling. The sweet crepe even with the chocolate was sweet but not an overpowering type of sweet that will give you an instant toothache which is perfection, imo!My friend and I were seated on the outer patio which has plenty of seating and plenty of shade with proper sized tables enough to comfortably have your plates splayed about on the table.Coco Crepes is a must stop for whenever I am in Houston and I will definitley return. If you are still deciding if you want to go or not dont walk, Run!! This is a great restaurant and is an AMAZING place and a must visit when in Houston! Cheers!
I ordered a Dulce de Leche Crepe with bananas & almonds, along with a Medium Cold Brew Coffee. Both were prepared perfectly! On my next visit, I will request some extra sauce on the side of my crepe. Soooo Yummmyyyy!!!!!
Stopped by this place after work for my birthday breakfast. It was delicious and they had so much to choose from. I got the salmon and goat cheese crepe and an affogato. So delectable! I do recommend this place. They have an ample amount of seating, self serve water station, and they even had photo booth props since we visited on Valentines day!
Great neighborhood breakfast place. Crepes are very good!!!
Crepes are delicious. Especially if you are gluten free.
The crepes themselves are thick and the filling is quite off. Individually the ingredients in the crepes are okay but when combining them it seems like a novice made this decision for example. The sauce on the spinach and chicken crepes off puts the whole dish. The homemade drinks are amazing though will definitely go back for those
Never thought I would give them anything less than 5 stars, but I had to. I placed an order to go, when I finally opened my food, it was not what I expected at all. I ordered a pinini, it looked like I only got 1/3 of the sandwich. Very disappointing. Finished it in3 bites.
Crepes o plenty, and really tasty. If you think crepes are only for dessert, you REALLY need to get out more, seriously. This is just the place to expand your gustatory horizons. BTW, they do a mean dessert crepe, when youre done with the savory. Not to be missed.
This was a very nice crepe shop! There were so many options for both sweet and salty crepes (and waffles!) and tons of drinks. Service was great and my crepe was delicious!Note because its Houston: there was plenty of parking!
Stopped in for a dessert. The dulce de leche Crepe was delicious.
Quiet location, clean facility with good food.
Such a nice place for a break. I like their pancakes. You should try them.
I was trying to pass a couple hours while waiting on something, so I got the waffle and the coco signature drink. Both were great. I almost gave it 4 stars because the place is a tad bit expensive, but the quality of the food and drink I got made up for it I felt like. The staff was friendly and the place is clean and quiet in a nice neighborhood. A great patio spot. Highly recommend a visit.
Casual but nice place reminiscent of la Madeleine. Got some crepes to go: the chicken and spinach and Moroccan sausage. Nice sauces with each. A mushroom cream sauce with the first and sun dried tomato cream with the second. Also got two half crepes for dessert - a nutella and a creme brulee, both top notch. The creme brulee had a nice caramelized glaze, the nutella a rich hazelnut cream. Also had some nice looking croissants and a good gelato bar. Check it out.
So Very surprised and satisfying 😌 on how delicious and timely everything was.
The crepes are pretty good here! I got the breakfast crepe with ham instead of sausage & a Nutella crepe. I had a scoop of ice cream with the Nutella crepe and that wasnt a good idea, the vinella isnt that great. Other than that pretty decent place for a quick bite
Great food ... been here twice and the food was fresh and delicious. The staff is very helpful / polite. I have never used the bathroom here and I am a firm believer that to give 5 stars I need to see the restroom is clean.
OMG!!! The lemon/poppyseed crepe was literally, the most delicious thing Ive ever eaten in my life!I recommend adding the berry compote to the concoction. The added raspberry/strawberry compote takes the already magical flavors to new heights of deliciousness!!!
Awesome, as always! The Moroccan Sausage, and Lemon Crepes this time...And Mexican coffee and peppermint tea.
My fav coffee place specially for lattes! They make great lattes ... i love their waffle Icecream sandwich too !!!
Fabulous place. Somewhat small interior but worth the squeeze. My favorite is the Crepe au Miel (pictured), which is a sweet crepe with bananas, honey, peanut butter, and toasted almonds. Light, but filling at the same time. My husband always got the savory crepes and liked them but you should note that the sausage is spice quite differently than American sausage. Its got somewhat of a chorizo flavor. Overall a great place and friendly staff, usually.
Good food, good prices, with outdoor seating.
For savory food, anything with their Moroccan sausage in it is quite tasty. Their sweet crepes make fantastic dessert, though I was a bit disappointed that the white chocolate raspberry crepe I ordered came stuffed with bananas, the only raspberry in the entire crepe being the little drizzle on top--it still tasted good, I just thought the name was misleading. Drinks are ok; be forewarned that their Moroccan green tea is ridiculously sweet. Ambiance is very nice and cozy too.
The coffee is good. But the crepe acceptable
Really great food! My only problem is that many employees were wearing their masks below their noses. It’s pretty unsettling to see that the people handling your food aren’t taking the correct precautions.
It was good. The menu is a bit large, so I think I barely touched it. I had a smoked salmon crepe. Good flavor and the size/portion was nice.
Possibly the best breakfast restaurant I’ve been to - ever!
The cinnamon roll crepe is the best. Only reason why I did not give it a 5 is because it was only my hubby and I. I kept waiting for them to bring his waffle. Mine was a little cold and they still had not brought his waffle. It was near the last couple of bites when they finally brought it.
Delicious! My family and I loved this cute little brunch spot, definitely coming back !
This place is AMAZING! Hole in the wall on the outside, elegant and clean on the inside. I came in looking kind of rough, but the staff was still very friendly and helpful! You can feel so much love in the atmosphere, and it just transitions directly into the food. The Crêpe au Miel was absolutely delicious! The crêpe itself was light but moist. The banana was perfectly ripe and blended very well with the creamy, but not too rich, peanut butter. The fresh mint to cleanse my pallet was a perfect ending to this mid morning meal!
Never disappoints I absolutely love the strawberry cheesecake crepe so yummy
