Coffee quality is Low, weak and feels diluted.Barista was not in the mood to answer any questions, maybe she was having a bad day.Plastic cup was messy and the coffee spilled on my clothesOverall NOT recommended. The atmosphere felt kind of we are having fun and do NOT care about youThere are so many great coffee places in Houston to waste your money on this very expensive Giant Leap, Giant price/dwarf quality product. 2 stars because the actual space is cool designed.
Paid $5.68 for an iced latte plus $1 tip and when I asked for a straw they said it is $1 for purchase. I said: I would have appreciated if you let me know before I paid for my coffee and tip that a straw is $1. She did not care and I agreed to pay but then she goes : I don’t have change so you better have the exact amount…..I told her: I paid for my coffee plus I tip which makes a simple cup of coffee at $6.68 and then you still want to charge me $1, thats a $7.68 for a latte.Really people, yes, you can charge whatever amount you want but the bad attitude, the lack of empathy and the entitlement of this woman was terrible. Zero customer service. I found a dollar in my pocket and paid because she also refused to refunded my money back to my credit card. Basically I was robbed at this place. At the end she gies: Go ahead and write a bad review because We do NOT care. I hope the manager can further look into this because that’s unacceptable.
Beautifully built coffee shop in uptown park! You can feel good supporting this small business; they’re serving the most delicious coffee & espresso in an area that needs more than just another chain coffee shop! They’re brewing locally roasted Amaya Coffee Beans (one of the best roasters in town!)Staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. Our expertly made, go-to drinks are the honey-oat iced latte, cold brew black tea(for non coffee drinkers that want some caffeine in their life) & the single origin brew on drip! So tasty and satisfying start to our day!Pastry selection is small but all are oh so yummy! Don’t miss the Romero - lemon rolls! Such a great alternative to the basic cinnamon.
Pricey but very good coffee, I only got a cappuccino this time, but next time I will definitely get one of their more exotic offerings. I wasnt a fan of their savory scone, but my friend was, so its just a matter of taste. All in all, Ill definitely be coming back.Update: came back and tried their Golden Milk latte and an almond scone, both were great. Having had one of their specialty drinks now, I would call this one of the best craft coffee places in Houston. I cant imagine some of the other reviews on here comparing this to Starbucks - this is a different type of place. Revising this to five stars.
I used to help these guys out and tip generously every visit. The whole city is opening up and I’ve gotten used to not wearing or walking in most places without a mask. Except for medical clinics. I mean, even employees of other restaurants aren’t wearing them anymore. I’ve been vaccinated for 3 months and it’s just becoming second nature. So after giving this place consistent business and to be greeted Sunday after church with a “no mask” scolding from the kid barista that was it. And it’s very judgmental and superficial just because I wasn’t wearing one to assume something about me. These are the CDC guidelines!! I’ll respect a physicians office all day and for over a year I wore a mask everywhere I went, but in this case, get over yourself. You think I’ll be the only one deciding to never come back. Good luck in this part of town. There’s a great place across the street that actually remembers my name and appreciates my business. Bye!
Good quality latte and fast service. Alternative milks available and friendly people. One sized for all coffee. Box like exterior is pretty cute. The cafe is so tiny though. With 4 customers inside already, it feels awkward to wait inside for your drink due to social distancing. They sell merch as well.I guess this place is more of a take-out type of coffee place. They have pastries but not much, and just bottled drinks. Will be back since the quality of the coffee is good.
Coffee good, but pastries old and cold.
Nice little coffee shop with some nice outdoor seating. The prices weren’t horrible and the coffee had decent flavor. I would come back here if in The area.
This is what I call a coffee shop. I had the Milky Way drink and oh my stars. Get it because it’s the Milky Way drink and Milky Ways have stars... no ? I’ll stop. Anyways the coffee was good enough to keep me up for a final exam that I pulled a all nighter for. So if y’all need a pick me up, I would HIGHLY recommend the Milky Way !! Now the energy in that shop is very welcoming. I had good experience for the little time I was in there. 10/10 would go again.
I’ve been coming here since they’ve been open and the Lates are always very consistently delicious. I definitely will be coming back for the foreseable future!
Thoughtful coffee, delectable scones, and a sublime interior… i can’t stop thinking about this place 😋
Just walked half an hour to get here and the lights are off. Update your hours. Your door also seems to have the wrong hours on it.
Super cute!! No indoor seating but it’s okay. It’s in a beautiful area where you can sit and just feel the great weather outside when Houston is having it. The baristas are nice, and helpful. Total recommend coming here.
Incredible coffee!! Very fast service and super friendly baristas.
Best branded coffee shop weve been to! Good lattes, great vibes.
Love their coffee and the baked goods/sandwiches they stock.
Great coffee shop, cool location, parking is generally available if youre going in the morning on weekends before the mayhem of the day. Check it out.
Meh. Im not sure why this shopping center allowed what looks like a cutesy trailer house on their property. I Was really looking forward to a real coffee shop replacement after starbucks left. Can’t really sit in here. It’s very cramped. Only a few seats inside, last time I was there ot was like three? Outside seating is pretty much full sun. Also reading the last review, it Seems weird to complain about someone not wearing a mask inside to order when literally the window seating is exaggerating here probably about three feet or less away from the counter, and they can take their mask off to sit there with a drink and Probably camped out for hours....lol strange logic. Only thing they got going for them in my opinion is the back door exit. The ordering counter is tooooo close to the front door, and there is often a line waiting outside. I’ve seen people leave coz the sun. They’re probably doing good coz yeah coffee but wish we got a real coffee shop experience to replace the Starbucks. I think they attract more “customers” after they’re closed, and it’s not in full sun anymore, and probably I guess they leave their wifi on or something coz there’s usually a few peeps with their laptops up working but the shop is long closed lol. This place being here the way it is is just so weird to me but hey guess the gram keeps it working nonetheless. The coffee is a last resort coffee type place for me, and they’re literally the closest coffee to me lol.
Great place and great staff! I go here weekly and it never disappoints!
Best latte I’ve ever had and awesome service!!
Excellent service, delicious coffee and hot chocolate as well! Such a cute place for pictures and environmentally friendly!
Satisfying experience overall . We tried their horchata cold brew and half-caff latte. Both were delicious, and the wait time was minimum. Cant wait to visit again and try their pastries and other drinks.
This is a nice coffee shop with batistas who care about consistently providing great espresso coffee drinks. The pastries are great as well. They have outside tables to sit at and enjoy your coffee. One of my favorite local spots for sure.
DELICIOUS coffee. & good vibes
Delicious iced latte! I’ll be back!
Good location, excellent coffee, friendly baristas, nice outdoor space, and EV chargers.
Cool branding/concept!
Love this place! A true Houston gem. Great quality, super flavorful coffee. Also I love the design and decor. It’s definitely my new go-to coffee spot in HTX.
Great quality coffee with fast service and friendly staff! This coffee shop is just what Uptown Park needed, and I’ll be visiting often. Best for take-out, since location isn’t huge, and the stand-alone building is beautiful. They use Amaya beans, who I personally think roasts the best coffee in Houston. Highly recommend visiting this place.
Just moved to the area and so excited to have a nice coffee shop. Baristas were really friendly and my iced latte was amazing.
So much knowledge and willingness to share information! You can tell these people love what they provide. Thank you so much. Keep it up!
The staff at this location are so knowledgeable and passionate about coffee! I really loved the service and the space is so welcoming. New fav spot
Love this coffee shop!
Excellent place! One of the best coffee shops in Uptown Houston, plus it has a different vibe, it almost feels like a little piece of LA in Houston!
Very intimate cafe. Nice setting here at Uptown Park. A must see, especially during the sunny days!!
Coffee was good, and overall concept of the store design was unique. Staff wasn’t very friendly, which is always really disappointing.
Good coffee and chill spot
Great pricing, location, and the coffee is damn good!
Best espresso in town in an amazing well lit modern building and they sell whole beans from Amaya for taking home. ❤️
I loved giant leap in East end, this is the same great place just a new location
Very cool atmosphere, with good coffee and yummy pastries.
Great space, friendly service, fantastic coffee! Have been multiple times & will continue going.
Chai Latte is sooo good!!
Very unwelcoming.
Good coffee! Very friendly staff!
Good coffee and fair price
Mask policy not being enforced. 2 customers without masks and staff did nothing about it. I ended up leaving without ordering
Yuh.
Good coffee and service
Just okay
First time here and I ordered a matcha latte and unfortunately it wasnt mixed properly so I got clumps of matcha with about half the cup making it very bitter. The place is adorable and I will be back to try other menu options.
