They might want to get a couple trainings for the staff in customer service because all of them inside dont move with the same integrity let alone language barriers sometimes, but at the end of the day, there is no better shipleys in houston, nor the whole texas state if you ask me! If you havent been here yet then you dont know how shipleys tastes yet ask the entire community about this location they have been a staple for years on in already. In highly recommended you visit here.FYI THEY HOSTED MY DAUGHTERS BIRTHDAY PARTY A FEW YEARS AGO WITH GORGEOUS VARIATIONS OF DONUTS (THE SPRINKLE DONUTS TRAY) ON TIME AND VERY FRESH IT MADE A BIG DIFFERENCE!

Staff was fast and efficient. Gave my request and they got it together. It was warm and bagged up nicely to not crush my food.

Ive been coming to this location my ENTIRE life. It is THE BEST Shipleys Do-Nut location EVER. The Glazed Do-Nuts are ALWAYS hot, fresh, soft, and glistening.

This location is the ONLY location I will visit period! Hot and fresh every time I visit. I like to let them cool just enough for the glaze to harden.2 glazed doughnuts to curve that sweet taste any time of day or night.

The kolaches and donuts were hot and good. It was very busy and I had to wait a few minutes, but it was worth it.

This might be the best Shipley’s in town. Always hot and fresh, and never get my order wrong. Fresh donuts come out around 10:30 every night, and make for a great “midnight snack.” And they are still fresh the next morning!

Donuts are great. However ... customer service needs improvement.Response to owner : Saturday 6/6/2021 at Noon / Sunday 6/7/2021 at 7AM. The employees taking the orders outside / inside dont talk to the customers. I ordered in my car and greeted them and no response .. no hello, what would you like to order, thank you. have a good day.. etc. Like I said, the donuts / kolaches are great, but customer service is lacking.

The donuts are great, but I’m really disappointed with the customer service. Me and my boyfriend went up there for some donuts, trying to get something to cheer us up because we’ve been going through a lot lately. After the cashier had actually handed us the donuts, and we put them in the backseat, she took his card to charge him. When she rang it up, she saw that there wasn’t enough in the card for the donuts. My boyfriend, clearly embarrassed, took a minute to think what to do. That was all the money we had, so he said “I guess I’ll just give this back?” The cashier said nothing, just took the donuts back and gave him his card. I feel like whenever that happens, the kind thing to do would be to just give the person the food. But I guess at this location, they’re only kind to you when you can pay for the food.

In a city with many good Shipley places, this Shipley stands out as the best in the city. You will always get fresh donuts as this shipleys. Even after sitting for a few hours these donuts are still soft and delicious.

This is hands down the best place to get doughnut holes. They dont give you a dozen of them. They just give you a bag filled with them. Donuts on sunday morning are fresh and great. The drive thru line is notorious for going into the street. Ive lived here for 15 years and its always been like that.

Usually good but today I went at 6 am and ordered 6 jumbo kolaches. I get I might of gone a bit late but instead of giving me raw dough kolaches just say they’re not ready. I came home bit one and I couldn’t swallow it. It was so chewy. I turned my oven on and cooked them for 10 mins.

Im not over exaggerating but this is the best Shipley in Houston they donuts always fresh it dont matter what time you pull up cars be on the street in line no BS and the only Shipley I know with boudin kolaches even the donut holes are a hit

Donuts always hot and good, the only thing I didnt like is when one of the worker was helping with drive thur. After taking there order she immediately start fixing order instead washing her hands first.

Waited in line for about an hour to try this locations donuts 🍩. It was worth the wait.Donuts were piping hot and melt in your mouth.Customer service at the drive-thru could improve though.My friend had to use the restroom after waiting in line for an hour and they refused.

If it’s a plain glazed donut you’re looking for, this is your place. I don’t know what it is about this specific Shipley’s location, but they have mastered a delicate balance of sweetness, a slight crispiness...I don’t know how to describe it other than perfection. Kids like the icing and sprinkles. Maple iced is nice.Kolaches are good but I wouldn’t say legendary.

Gave me the fresh out of the oven kolaches instead of the ones in the warmer. Didnt even have to ask.

As I understand it this is the original Shipley Do-Nuts. Not sure if that is true but I can tell you Ive never been disappointed with the donuts here...inexpensive, terrible for you, but oh-so delicious. Their Apple Fritter is my favorite. There is always a crazy drive-thru line that blocks up traffic in the right lane heading northbound on Ella Blvd so it is easy to find.

I drive all the way to this specific location due to the donuts are always fresh. Today I stop inside and as I was waiting Im looking at the man at the back dip the donuts and moving them with his hands with no gloves on rub his nose and move some more. I tell the owner she asked if I want to get my own. No maam I dont want anything.

My donuts was cold, as if they were in a frigrator, I took them back, This donut shop is the best on the northwest side, people come from the south,east and west to buy these donuts. I have never had a bad experience with this co. Please tell the staff, customers are valuable,

Dud this place been here for 45 years

Picked up different kolaches and unfortunately the one without egg that was Sons who has allergies was forgotten to be included in the bag. Had to drive back and lady knew as soon as she saw me. She just laughed while she gave it to me. I don’t know what so funny about getting and order wrong and then laughing it out with her colleague. Very poor customer service. They must feel very secure with their job, untouchables probably.
