It was awesome and so fun. I took my daughter there for some retail therapy. The people that work there are so friendly and helpful. Answered any questions we had. The dressing rooms were open which great to see again and be able to use. We will definitely be back again. I highly recommend shopping there. The also accept people bringing in items for resale!!
Nice employees, store is nice and organized. I went in to try to sell my clothes, they didnt accept the majority of the clothes because its not what theyre looking for. They want trendy clothes from the 90s and early 2000s. The quirkier the better. Theyll take you in if youre a walk in but definitely try to set up an appointment so you can be helped right away.
I have always loved Buffalo Exchange. It has been years and it was my first time at this location and I was not disappointed. The customer service is great, the store was well organized, and there was an abundance of amazing quality merchandise.
Two stars, because they have a well organized store but….. there’s definitely a lack of diversity amongst they workplace. Seems as if they only go for white punk rock chicks, with dark tattoos & a certain look.Go visit & witness this with your own eyes.My advise to the company is “DO BETTER” for gods sake!
I had such a great time selling yesterday!! The energy is so positive if you also bring a positive attitude! I brought two garbage bags worth of clothing and sold 4 items and got $17.50 cash that I didnt have in my pocket before, and theyll donate the rest for you or give it back to you.Chey was super welcoming when the doors opened and when I checked out to get my cash from selling. Maria was my buyer and was a joy to hang out with, made quick decisions and really knew what kind of things they were looking for, was super respectful - even re-folding all of the items they didnt buy and put them back in the bag. The manager, Tanya is SUPER positive and brings a great energy of teamwork & happiness, enjoying the music and working steadily. So in closing, I disagree with the negative seller reviews... Its all about perspective. These are clothes you dont want anymore. The buyers know what their customer base is currently buying and what they have in stock. Its nothing personal if they dont want to buy something. But whatever you do sell is more than a generous buyout! It wouldve been twice as much with store credit, but I dont really dress based on whats on trend, lol, so I just get cash. Its a fun atmosphere and the employees are able to express themselves through their clothing, etc.Sellers Tip: choose a day when you can schedule the first appointment of the day right when they open (usually 11 am) and get there 20 minutes in advance, stand outside the door so youre the first in line. Then youre taken care of really quickly. ;)
Yeah don’t go here to sell clothes. You can’t drop off your clothes and come back. You have to wait till you’re called which is a minimum of 30 minutes. In the end they’ll take 1-4 items if you bring in 40 items. Not a good place if you’re looking to get cash for your clothes.I brought in nice clothes from not cheap places, including items with tags on them. They are super nice in there. Just sucks they don’t take many clothes
I love that the employees get to express their styles through their outfits, hair color, and tattoos. Not overwhelming with asking you questions and there’s a ton of great very lightly worn items at great prices! Only downside is the parking situation and the construction traffic!
Dont bring your clothes here to sell... Unless you have Shein or Forever 21 stuff because thats all thats on the racks. I even saw a Walmart brand skirt 🙃 It would be nice if they were a bit more transparent about their buying policies. 95% of people leave feeling like they shouldnt have bothered trying to sell here. Possibly clarifying what they actually do want to buy would help.
Love it, my fav place to shop and sell clothes! Staff us great and always super friendly!!
I visited for the first time today after a closet clean-out and had a great selling experience! I didnt catch the name of the girl who signed me in and sorted through my clothes - she was there at 11:40am today, black hair, had a few tattoos and gorgeous eye makeup. She waved me over to the check-in desk and was very transparent about the pricing for each item. She was super friendly and conversational.A lot of negative reviews for places like these are just people who are angry that they didnt buy their clothes, but I mean, theres a Goodwill right around the corner, where you get exactly $0 back. I got $27 for items I was going to trash anyway, so Im quite pleased.
I like their selection of clothing and they have great prices, but if you are looking to sell I would call ask ask thoroughly about their buying process. Giving it 4 stars because of their process of buying.I hadn’t accepted the quote yet or got my cash/checked out and they put my clothing items they were going to take in a bin with clothes they were going to sanitize and tag.I told the buyer that I was unsure and still looking around yet she put my items in the bin.I ended up taking a few items back because they offer less in cash vs. trades. I would say if you are looking to sell and want more money I would go to Plato’s Closet
Really great selection here full of really nice, well-priced pieces
If youre there to sell, you wont sell anything. They will tell you everything is just not up-to-date, when in reality theyre just looking for higher-end, vintage/retro stuff. The employees are unorganized and not that friendly. I waited around for a bit not knowing what to do and not one employee bother to check with me. Just do not waste your time getting there and dealing with this place. Very frustrating. Also, they are way overpriced so if you shop there just know youre being scammed...
Zach at the front is super helpful! Clothes are super cute and on trend!
Lots of cute items here, especially jewelry. Their prices are pretty high though compared to other places. Staff is amazing and super nice.
Many different styles and sizes to look through which is very nice. It was extremely crowded which is fine for me but if youre enforcing masks at the door makes you seem a little hypocritical while the entire store is jam packed with people. Its also a little pricey for a resale/thrift store but to me overall worth it for the variety in clothing. I only saw staff at the door informing me to put on a mask, at a register telling me those registers were closed & at the check out our interaction consisted of telling me they dont provide bags but heres a chip you can put in the box of the charity of your choice (which I thought was a nice touch). It was fairly organized considering the people going through the items & decently clean. They have parking in the back for which I was grateful. No pictures since I have a personal no people in my pictures rule and that was simply not possible.
Mostly womens clothing. Mostly small and medium mens. As an XXL guy it was an ok place. Small guys and ladies will enjoy it.
Called with my friend to book an appointment to sell for both of us. We called 2 times because we ended up having to change our appointment time, and both times we made them aware that we were both coming to sell our clothes; lady said no problem. We get there and the lady basically tell us that they will only help one of us sell, since apparently you have to make separate appointments, even though we called twice to make sure it was ok. We drove an hour in the pouring rain to get here, and on top of that, when I mentioned to her that we called 2x and verified that both of us were coming, she told me that she would look through my stuff if she had time, and there was barely anyone in line to sell clothes. There was 2 people looking through one persons donations, and they did not appear to have a staff shortage. She proceeded to rudely stick her hand out at me, roll her eyes, and say WE ARE DOING YOU A FAVOR OK after I asked her when I would know if she would have time to look at my clothes. The lady next to her was kind enough to look through my things as soon as she was done with the customer before, but this woman was a nightmare. She then very obviously kept talking about my friend and I right in front of us. To top things off, I got $30 for 5 Lululemon items and free people clothes, including jeans and skirts, all in excellent condition. rip off. dont come here.
One star because I didnt even get the chance to look around. They do not provide restrooms to their customers. I was told that I could go down the street to Starbucks. I understand they most likely dont want homeless people coming and using their bathroom. This is not accommodating to the ones that have medical conditions. Just because someone looks young doesnt mean they dont have medical conditions.
Incredible picks and wonderful staff! Fitting rooms are open so you can try things on before committing(: very clean and comfortable to shop at
Barely had anything. Only reason Im giving a couple of stars is they had the racks distanced away from each other that makes shopping socially distanced easier but it just looked totally picked over & kinda empty. Its definitely different than what I remember as far as selection.
They always have good finds, Ive been going to their store for years...it can be a hit or miss but nevertheless they keep nice items in stock.
Showed up on time for a selling appointment and the 3 workers just sat at the counter and talked about politics. There were 2 of us waiting to sell and no one was working. Their website specifically states that you must be on time to your appointment but they don’t have to show up on their end, apparently. You’re better off selling to Plato’s Closet.
I went to sell my clothes eventhough they only pick three items out of 30 something items and I ended up not finalizing the trade, they were very professional. Before starting the inspection of my clothes they explained what they were looking, very polite and respectful.
Cold staff that are far from friendly and way overpriced. So many other better options near that money goes to great causes.
I loved it, came here with my daughter and she was happy to finally go. She was able to get a shirt and jeans to feed her new style and was able to come up with the best outfit. I was also able to find a nice long sleeve. The employees were so kind, the possible only downside was that we had to wait outside in the heat for a while but it was all worth it.
Their buyers have a good eye for what to get. Theres style there for everyone! And prices are unbeatable. Friendly staff.
4 stars for me because they had tons of Zara items, which I love and such reasonable prices. Parking was annoying because it was Saturday but otherwise this is a pretty cool thrift shop
Interesting place to take your clothes. Sometimes they buy sometimes they dont.
They have an okay selection however, the prices are pretty steep. I paid $12 for a plain yellow shirt. They carry alot of PrettyLittleThing.
Prices can be kind of high, but they have an awesome selection. You will find treasures. Just be careful not to buy too many or to splurge too much.
I love shopping here, but I always see cheap brands like Shein for the same price. On multiple occasions when I have brought things to sell, they don’t choose anything. I’ve brought a Lululemon jacket in great condition, Kate Spade purse, Michael Kors, Tommy Jeans, good brand business clothes, etc. My items are overlooked like if I don’t have a sense of fashion at all, telling me that’s out of style when I know its not and I personally look for some of these things.
Some of the selections here are cute, others look dusty, some of the items I would find less value in. They had a Shien crop top that was for $10...? When on the site the same shirt is $8? Maybe cause its popular or something they upcharged. Thats not my issue. We went to check out and they lady who came to the counter was RUDE. Dismissive. Talking fast. No eye contact. She goes on about these bag tokens to donate to charity and we got confused, (we bought one item) and said we didnt need a bag. She THREWWW OUR RECEIPT AT US AND WAS LIKE Ok. Bye. As we were walking out she proceeds to slam drawers and things around at the check out counter. Even the girls who WORK THERE who were sorting clothes were looking at each other like What is going on good lord, we didnt have a 5 cent coin for your bags, and you asked after we already paid. We drove a long way to go there and were very excited just to feel like we had to scurry out of the door before we had something thrown at us because someone has a major attitude problem.
The staff here are helpful and stylish. The selection is definitely more curated and interesting than the average thrift store. The trade-off is the prices tend to be less thrifty. A fair trade for the selection and quality!
I wanted to visit this location for so long, and I finally decided to go last week. I was disappointed in the clothing; I didnt find anything that I was interested in. A lot of the pieces looked like they belong to middle schoolers. Whoever is hand-selecting these items shouldnt be. I will add when leaving the parking lot, be careful because theres a drop when exiting or entering through the right of the store.
Good quality clothing, good service
Uncomfortable experience. Staff didnt greet me or ask if I needed help (even though they asked other customers). Instead. they just followed me around the store and would stand 4 feet away until I left. I dont know if I shouldve dressed differently, not spoken Spanish, or tried to look more affluent to not be treated like I was there to shoplift. This was an unfortunate experience and the employees were anything but welcoming.
Selling clothes experience: I booked an appointment a day in advance because that’s the policy, drove all the way there (45 minutes away) and had exactly 50 pieces. She took less than 2 minutes, I barely walked to the other side of the shop before she called me back saying she had finished and didn’t want to buy anything. She didn’t even look at half the stuff. Took my clothes over to Pavement which in my opinion has better clothing anyway and they bought more than half of the things. Buffalo Exchange is a waste of time if you’re trying to sell!
Over rated! I support the recycle clothes concept, but this is just a rip off business. I check what they have, and its not good selection for men. Secondly trying to sell our stuff, some good stuff they didnt even look at it.
I brought in some Bianca Chandon, Pleasures, Carhartt, Brand New Pacsun Jeans, and New Zara Jeans then it all got rejected except for the Carhartt anorak jacket which they offered $5.I had to take my jacket back because that is ridiculous, like what do want? On top of that the guy section is tiny.
I had planned on shopping and possibly to bring in a few items while visiting Houston in two weeks. From the reviews I will not waste my time while visiting my daughter and family. Our time together is precious, so we will find other places to treasure hunt for a fun afternoon.(This is a Negative One Star so my post would go through.)
Did not call me back to come pick up my items after they reviewed them. My items were supposedly “donated” I never received a call/voicemail as expected. And as employee stated customers are confuse by this policy. (So make it clear). I know I had items worth consigning - but evidently not. And now I’m sure someone is enjoying My items. Super disappointed, w process & business.
Theres a few things at this store to buy but not much. I wear a mens XL in shirts and there were hardly any at all. The one I bought happened to be slim fit and was a little too slim. I brought the shirt back to sell it with some other clothes I had (Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, and others) but nothing was bought... not even the shirt I bought there just a few weeks ago. I folded my clothes neatly and when I picked them up, half were still folded without being looked at. Id give 3 stars for the purchasing experience but selling stuff here is the worst. Even if the employees tell you to bring certain items and you bring exactly what they ask for, they wont buy it and probably wont look at it.
I have been going to buffalo exchange for years. Way before they opened this location- and I have visited all locations through Texas. This is still my FAVORITE. The staff knows me by a first name bases here. They are fabulous! I have never had issues with them buying from me- expect long lines if you come on weekends, it does help to call ahead and ask what they are buying currently. If you love vintage shopping and you want something one of a kind, this is a must stop!! You won’t leave disappointed!!
Great selection! Friendly and super organized. Found what I needed quickly.
I asked specific questions before making an appt appointment to sell items. Try to give me 13 for my Michael Kors bag! And I had 3 others that are in 9/10 condition that they couldn’t even take. When I walk around the entire store I didn’t see not one name brand purse at all. Guess they only accept things from races other than black! Because that was the vibe I received and how it took her all of 2 mins to tell me that. So why make an appt. would never suggest this place to anyone. Not to mention I drove all the way from humble !
Shopping at the store is ok, there are some decent items which is why I gave them two stars. Selling clothing is a joke. I brought in 36 items including Michael Kors boots and a Kate Spade purse and only received $28 which works out to $1.28 per item. The option was to take a $45 store credit. Feel like I got scammed.
Ellen was absolutely aweful. I would not recommend this business not would I patron this Buffalo Exchange in the future as a result.
Overpriced for a second-hand store and selling here is not worth the hassle. Unfriendly customer service.
I loved Buffalo Exchange in Chicago and wanted to like this one. But no.The clothing they do buy is scruffy and cheap, the line to sell is long, and the staff wouldn’t know what actually sells if you paid them.Don’t bother coming here.
Pretty cool selection of clothes to buy, but sellers beware! The wait time can vary pretty drastically. I went in yesterday and there was one buyer and six people ahead of me. I ended up being there for 2 hours and nithing of mine was taken. I get that they need to be picky in order to sell the clothes, but a quick check in with the line of people and they have/what the store needs would have been helpful. Two hours to sell was way too long!
Consignment shopping is my jam. Ive heard so many people rave about Buffalo Exchange. I was beyond thrilled to finally check it out while in Houston. Sadly, I was incredibly disappointed with brand selection for the price. Overall, this store is nothing more than overpriced secondhand Target, Forever 21, Zara, cheap made in China, and Amazon brands. There were a few NWT vintage items, which I was impressed by, but seriously overpriced.I will say the shoe selection and variety were great, but I dont imagine revisiting this location again.Hopefully, they can source better brands at more reasonably prices.
A few years ago, I too took some high end clothing there: Armani, Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, etc Some rude skinny guy acted like I was sleeping outside in front of the store with this stuff! They did buy a pair of Dan Post boots from me for $45 and I was cool with that because I got them for free through a Marlboro promotion. I was planning on going in with several pairs of True Religion jeans; now Im not so sure.
Clothes here are so expensive for a thrift store, staff is rude and standoffish. Didn’t enjoy my time coming here.
Some stuff are cute but there over priced you can just by from a rehular store honestly.
The manager at the Houston location, Montrose is a BULLY.
Waited over 3 hours for a rude pregnant woman to tell me she was only going to take 1 of 8 brand new shoes still in the box. I wasn’t upset that she didn’t take my items but her customer service was just appalling. Then she stated she couldn’t put the shoe box from the shoe they decided to purchase in the trash can so I should take it with me. I would much rather donate my items to goodwill (as I eventually did) than sell at this location again.
If I could give 0 stars I would, y’all really need to work out a system to quicken the line and the guest service is atrocious. The lady with the black (or dark brown) hair with the bangs literally walked away from a person midway through checking their items AND didn’t tell the person, who she got to do the rest of the items, what she was keeping or not so the other girl was confused and when the lady came back she didn’t take any of the items from the girl... just made her wait there for nothing.... and the person behind her only had one item and had to wait for that too. Y’all been around too long to not have a system, it was not busy and there were 3-4 people working. So unacceptable for a business like this.
Beware!!! I never do reviews but this had to be said. They are using Covid as an excuse to take your items and not tell you which ones and give you whatever they want. They are taking away your option to choose if you want to accept their offer or not. They say the employees are trained to tell you that when you drop off. But have no way of confirming it was done and they say when you drop off you have consented to this, Smh without any proof of you consenting either. Taking away your option to accept or not accept their offer without your consent is Robbery. Especially when it is a New Process and Is NOT plainly stated in their set of new rules on their Website nor in any confirmation that is noted. Saying it its contactless lol.. the same way my items were dropped off and items you didnt choose will be picked up is the same way you can return My items I do not agree for you to buy. Paalleease...Buffalo Exchange is Full of it! Covid is turning them into scam artist smh.. Sellers BEWARE!
The employees are super nice. Trendy stuff at affordable prices. I would not recommend selling anything to them unless you check what they are looking to buy first. Theyre picky.
I loved this place! The vintage clothing is great! It is so well curated that it was very difficult to decide what to take and what to leave behind...and I had no intention of buying anything to begin with. I went in to accompany my niece as she had been meaning to go for quite some time and we finally made it there. I fell in love with the selection of diverse vintage pieces. Anyone can find something interesting and unique as well as appealing no matter what your personal style is. Im definitely going back for more. We were also reminded as we were making our purchases that we can bring our own gently worn articles of clothing and accessories to sell here. This is a gem if youre looking for unique and unusual clothing pieces.
Always ALWAYS find amazing one of a kind clothes and accessories here. At least try to come in once a month for a restock. The staff is extremely FRIENDLY... the manger is absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend buffalo exchange to anyone.
Have shopped at numerous Buffalo Exchanges, I especially love the one in Austin (theyre so AMAZING). The layout is nice, the employees seemed really sweet, and they have some of everything. Some of the prices are overrated I think. May come again to browse, but will not be selling any more clothes here. I will stick to CL, Amazon, eBay, and a garage sale for that especially after driving 2 hours to only get $7.25. That part really sucked.
Completely incompetent staff in order to sell your clothes they require you to book an appointment while the general public or traffic is freely to come and go in the store please steer far away from this business completely lacking any professionalism catering to their customers
Lots of great stuff, but not a lot for XL or above.
When I try to sell my clothes, I don’t expect to make much if anything at all. These stores are always a “last shot” before I head to Goodwill. BUT Buffalo Exchange is majorly missing the mark by not allowing their potential sellers to shop while they sort through the clothes. If you’re going to make me wait 30 minutes to an hour (which I get - waiting is part of the process), at least allow me to shop around without losing my place in line. This store is losing potential business by doing so. Shoosh!
I went into Buffalo looking for a completely new look and outfit for a date with my boyfriend. I was helped by Sarah and she was nothing but helpful and the most delightful woman. She took one look at me and it was like she could read my exact style as if wed been lifelong friends. I left with not just a new look but a few extras as well as I could not resist the temptation to shop for a bit extra. I never wanted to leave! I will definitely be back to see what else this place has to offer!
If youre here to shop: I recommend trying the other shops within sight of this place. Rarely do you find a deal here. The clothing is generally way too high for the brand and wear.If youre here to sell: again, I recommend moving around the area. The line can be hours long. For the quality of clothes on the rack, Im always surprised at what this store wont buy.
I called Buffalo Exchange to ask what they’re looking for before making an hour drive, and the gentleman who I spoke with was very friendly and assured me that it would be worth a trip to get rid of some gently used clothes. Once I got there, there were about 5 people waiting to sell clothes as well (a decent amount of items per person). I waited and watched while each person went through the process of the workers digging through their stuff and declining EVERYTHING. I was in the store for about an hour and they did not accept a single item from any of the people in front of me, nor anything from the 2 duffle bags I brought in. The staff was very rude and disrespectful; I had neatly folded all of my (very nice quality) clothing, and the girl basically dumped it all out and balled it up and threw it back into the bag. I then asked the lady what it was that they were looking for, (the same question I asked the gentleman on the phone) and she proceeds to tell me that they are looking for clothes transitioning into spring... which is exactly what I brought. Looking at the outfits the workers had on, however, I took it that they are into a “millennial hippie” style. Basically, the workers will only accept things that they personally like. Moral of my story; don’t waste your time. Try selling online or donating, if you don’t dress like a “millennial hippie” then they probably won’t accept your clothing. Apparently pearl snaps and Wrangler jeans aren’t their style...
Loved! Loved! Loved! I always get great finds from this store and theyre ALWAYS up to date with the fashion. I love that they have such a variety of clothing, shoes AND jewelry usually I can only find a wide variety in one category. The only thing I wish they would change are the prices.
Staff is so welcoming and so many variety of unique clothes, styles, and shoes. Awesome place to sell clothes as well!
A good place to stock up on trendy clothes, decently priced - I always make a visit here before going to a music festival. They have a decent mens selection, like most second-hand stores sizes are left-skewed to Large, but occasionally Ill find some great shirts in XS/Small sizes.I will usually hit up Goodwill down the street before coming here.
The staff is so nice, and the prices are great. They have a great supply of stuff, especially items for Halloween. It’s really hard to find a cheap Halloween costume now, so this place is definitely helpful. Also the manager is really personable and efficient.
Very busy, popular thrift store. Located in Montrose. Selection here is great. Plenty of clothes, purses, jackets, lots of shoes, scarves, etc. They had more men clothes than most thrift stores which is really cool. The clothes here are more geared towards a younger audience. The prices are a bit more expensive than most thrift stores. Wish they had more plus size clothes. The staff is helpful. They have dressing rooms but no bathroom.
Went on a Sunday around noon, there was a very short line to sell! The gentleman buying was very polite and friendly and worked very quick. As far as the clothes, they are very hip and high quality. Expect to find some very nice products and brands here!
This is an interesting store with both new and good used clothes. All for a good deal. I usually find stuff I want that I wasnt even looking for. Definitely always worth a stop to shop.
Good spot to filter through every now and again for some interesting finds. The pricing of goods could use a bit more consistency. They do buy clothes if you are trying to clean out your closet...
Staff isn’t nice at all. They treat you as if they were doing you a favor of talking to you. Then they give you as little as they can for your clothes and sell it for high prices. I would not recommend this. Try apps like Poshmark or mercari or even fb marketplace.
I love how you never know what you will find! Lately I have been finding the greatest shoes I just my size. I especially like bringing in the clothing and shoes I dont use and getting store credit.
Most definitely one of the better thrift stores in Montrose. Cant be too mad when they reject your precious clothes, they have to maintain a certain standard. This may be hard to believe because they have some interesting clothing options to say the least, but you can always find a great brand name item for a decent price. You have to be in a good mood for digging through clothes but youre sure to find something if not just entertainment!
Honestly, every time I am in need to get rid of some of my high end clothes for some extra $...it never fails, they always say the same stupid line, Im sorry but this isnt what we r looking for. I mean, come on! Have u seen the stuff they sell(used mind u). They give u pennies for what its really valued. Then they turn around and sell it at 300%. If u ask me and u did, I would sell ur items on EBay.
Parking is difficult at times. Selection is decent, but the prices in comparison to other Buffalo Outlets dont match. Must be the Westheimer mark up. Overall cool store. More of a boutique than a thrift store.
Think of it as if you went to Ross one day, but they only had the cute stuff left in nothing but your size. That’s what this place feels like every time I come here. Not to mention great accessories & friendly professional staff
They have a wide variety of clothing styles, most in good condition at reasonable prices. They also buy styles they think they can sell, but dont expect to get rich selling your old goods. That said, bring a few old items to offset the cost of the ones you buy.
I brought Georgio Armani, Ralph Lauren, and Tommy Hilfiger. Different pants, button up shirts, and suits. Wouldnt take one thing. Wouldnt give one star if they had just said they dont want it like Platos closet did over the phone. Waste of time
Great place to shop for affordable clothes. It is a hit and miss on if you will get something that you will really like but it is fun looking so I keep going back! Ive gotten clothes from American Apparel at Buffalo Exchange before for a MUCH cheaper price than I would have at American Apparel. The employees are super friendly and helpful. You can also sell clothes there! Its a really fun atmosphere and a great place to shop on a budget! Happy shopping!
I know Im gonna sound like a cheapskate but they are a bit pricey for a resale shop. The selection is great and they have a wide variety of styles. I did notice as I was browsing the shorts rack a few had crotch stains that had turned yellow and the price was a bit to much at $16.00. Enough about the bitching the staff is fun and helpful, this time around I was satisfied with my purchase not so much with the price but what are you gonna do?
If youre going to buy and not sell, buffalo exchange is awesome. Its a bit like Ross and Marshalls in that you will have to DIG for a great find, but sometimes its what makes it fun and oh-so worth it when you find that perfect vintage dress or pair of shorts! I say its a better place to buy only because no second hand store is a good place to sell (they usually only give you a fraction of the real worth and then they try to take even more money off if you opt for cash instead of store credit). My favorite thing about BE: the SHOES!
I love this place! theyre so friendly and helpful. However, I do think that the prices are a little overpriced for USED clothes lol
I am always so hopeful that I will find something I really like, but I never do. I do enjoy seeing how their mannequins are dressed though. And its in a great area, I enjoy walking around to all the little shops/bars.
I agree that this store definitely needs better parking. There are only a few spaces to park in front of the store with paved concrete. More than likely you will have to park in the back of the store which is uneven loose gravel with many huge potholes. oh and not to mention parking in the back of the store for more than20 minutes will get you towed. Overall great customer service, the placed looked nice and clean, and the atmosphere was awesome. will come again
The staff is friendly and helpful. There’s tons of clothes to look through. I’d prefer them over Plato’s ANY DAY!!!!!!!
I used to love this place when on Richmond rd. The style of clothing has change tremendously, and now it is hard to wear most of the clothing that is selected currently for the shepherd store.
The items here are fun and so unique, and some things are even brand new! But a few of the employees here have attitude and totally ignore you even as they cash you out. Very uncomfortable and off putting. The girl in the back watching the fitting rooms was very sweet and helpful
It’s just like any other resale store but has some good stuff. I found these cute boot heels there. It’s expensive but has some good stuff. It is really big and a bit overwhelming at first.
I love everything about Buffalo Exchange! This location has such a wide variety of styles and at some pretty great prices. The only problem I have with it is that the parking isnt great on the weekends, and they dont take as many clothes that I want to sell which would make it easier if they did :)
