They give you a discount if you have your Covid vaccination card with you haha, very thoughtful and interesting, I’ve never heard of this.

Super cute store! Came here to buy my niece some birthday gifts. While we there a car drove into the store. So my stepdaughter thought it was a very memorable day. Lol

This place is amazing! When you arrive the first thing you see is a set of adorable doors, and it gets even cuter from there! Great selection of Asian convenience items and cosmetics. Great prices, and the shop is neat as a pin! There are also super cute displays and spots to take Instagram photos. Very happy I visited!

This store is so cute! Lighting makes you feel like youre in an expensive salon 😊 always greeted with a warm hello everytime we walk in. Try to make it there at least once a week! Great prices!

Yesterday I pass by this store and I really enjoyed my experience at the store. If I remember right her name was Gladis or something like that but she was so kinda and knowledgeable, she explained the products well and was really nice to me. The other staff was nice as well. I will for sure come back to shop!!

For starts they have some really cool stuff, however I did notice that other beauty stores had some of the same products. The only difference was the prices here were much higher for some reason. Second the workers there weren’t very welcoming. One of them was walking around watching me and my friend shop but never said anything to us. It kind of made me feel uncomfortable. Other than that it’s a pretty cool place to check out.Response: how is it different Quality. If it’s the same exact product. And I like how you didnt speak on your rude employees

This place was pretty cool, the atmosphere was nice and just the overall aesthetic was very welcoming, however, the Asian woman with a pony tail, she told me I couldn’t have drinks inside which was understandable, but then a customer comes out of the store WITH a drink and I asked him “did you get that from the store?” and he was like, “No. I just brought it in.” so I didn’t appreciate that at all, lol, it was whatever but that was very biased imo. Maybe she didn’t see him but yeah.

Super nice staff that was incredibly helpful. I stopped by yesterday while in the area for work. They had quite the selection. I ended up grabbing a few things for my daughter, neice, and myself. Its about an hour from where I live, but I can see myself making the drive just to do some shopping.

Very disappointed in the customer service. Was sold Iphone case and immediately found that that didnt fit an Iphone. I was not allowed to return it. I will not be returning to this store.

The employee Saeka or sth ( Chinese girl with pony tail hair ) is probably the worst salesperson I’ve known. She yelled to my face that they don’t carry the item but later on I found it on the shelf. This girl obviously have some bad attitude which causing the store to receive so many bad reviews. May be she’s the owner’s daughter? Ended up spending $100 or sth but definitely won’t coming back here with those kind of attitude

They don’t seem to have a reliable source for their products as they are always out of stock and take months to restock a particular product. Their customer service is also pretty terrible. I can see that it’s not one of their priorities and as a beauty business, that’s very unfortunate. Phone receptionist is rude and not receptive to the questions I asked. They sky rocket their price as well. You’d be better off purchasing from another store on the internet with reliable stock and lower prices for the same product.Response: Your prices do not compare to amazon or other online retailers. For an example, you can get the full size of DHC cleansing oil for $28 or less online (including amazon) and you mark it up to 37 not including taxes. Lower your prices, have reliable stock, and improve your customer service and you will have a flock of customers coming to your door.

Interesting store. Japanese experience all the way. Rap music playing on the loud speaker used the N-word. Not sure how I feel about that personally, but the locals dont seem to be bothered by it.

Cute place, but bad customer service. Bought a mascara and 10 seconds later, I realized it was brown and not black. Couldnt get a refund or exchange. I get that (I used to work retail during college) but girl..SPEAK UP when people are buying makeup. It only takes a few seconds. Take into account people arent going to read the little tiny sign and are NEW (but not returning) customers. Its just a really quiet girl (brown short hair) behind the counter, not helpful, and her eyes were glued to her phone the majority of the time 🤡 🙄 anyways, Im over it. This place sucks 🥰

Beautiful Store with amazing import items!! They keep this place CLEAN. So u can feel comfortable coming in that it’s sanitized as all the stores in the a Bellaire Area are. Will come back.

Don’t buy online. They have very strict rules on shipping policy no matter how much you spend here in history. No respect and no value on the loyalty. Get away from this. There are bunch of similar stores in US doing nicely.As they said they have $130 shipping policy and they did not consider doing any adjustment on that or put some small value merchandises to hit $130 line. Also their price is crazily higher than other place. I can make many examples on it. If anybody would like to get cheaper stuff I would recommend you to other place. Just contact me.Also I will encourage those customers who had bad experience put the real comments to this store. Two stars at most!!!

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. The employees are seriously so rude and not helpful at all, kept following me around when I was looking for items and when my friend asked for a product, the employee rolled her eyes at her. If you’re gonna work somewhere at least have good costumer service, seriously just plain rude. I gave a 20 dollar bill to the cashier and the employee next to her said, “do you not have a nickel?” In the rudest way, like if I had one don’t you think I would’ve given it? Just save your time and money and don’t go here. Employee with a beret and short brown hair was so rude and unwelcoming to every guest that came into the shop. Get better customer service. They won’t even ask you if you need help, they just stay on their phones the entire time you’re there.

This little shop is super kawaii! I felt like I was back in an Okinawan store. My friend spotted the store while I waited for the traffic light and asked if we could visit. She entered the store to check for anything that might trigger any of our allergies; I took pictures of the store exterior.My friend was pleasantly shocked by the quantity, quality, and variety of the items sold. The products range from make-up to odor neutralizers to Japanese snacks. The store shelves are densely but neatly stocked. Many of the products had testers or displays; there was even a sample of a banana smoothie at the front counter. There were two types of hug pillows that produce a small burst of scent when squeezed: a citrus Shiba dog and a lavender sheepThe two employees were wonderfully cordial and helpful in answering any product questions and concerns. I started taking pictures of the aisles and store setup, but I forgot to ask for permission first. One of the young ladies gently explained the store policy against product pictures and showed where I could take a selfie by a cute display with a mirror. I sincerely apologized and deleted the interior pictures.Later, she carefully demonstrated the usage of several items in the White Strawberry skincare line on the back of my right hand. The products are lightly scented, and my hand was still silky smooth the next day.She also showed me the assortment of facial sheet masks and explained the pricing. I bought a Homeo-Age Nature Care Mask. I plan to visit again to get part of the White Strawberry line and more masks!

Awesome little place. Fun cool things. The workers helped explaining the products. Only think I did not like was the workers kept following us it made me think they thought we were trying to steal. I ended up spending $80

Came in here with my 14 year old daughter for some beauty products for her birthday.I asked the lady up front what she should try. The lady looked at us and frowned and asked how old my daughter is to which I replied 14. She said, nooooo. We dont have anything here for a 14 year old here. I said what about skincare or some makeup. She said, nooooooo. Maybe just some eyeshadow. Then, she and the other girl up front went back to playing on their phone.Felt like our business wasnt wanted so we left.

Great variety, from snacks to skin care! Its a bit costly but most skin products are like that. They have really cute lipsticks too which is nice. The cashier was super polite and gave us some recommendations for some good snacks. I also love the aesthetic-ness of the store! So cute!

Ahh~ everything here was so cute, the door to the store was such a cute concept. We were on our way to the grocery store when we spotted it out of the corner of our eyes! The rainbow sign was a good idea because it really pulled us there! It had a lot of K-beauty and J-beauty. Lots of toiletries too. Would shop here again!

Really cute both outside and inside, lots of products to choose from! Everything is in Japanese, so be prepared if you cant read the language. You can ask the employees for help though, theyre very helpful and kind! The products can be really pricey.

This is an okay place. i think what people are mostly paying for is the atmosphere—but a lot of these things are cheaper online from different stores or companies. they had dolly wink lashes which was cool but i wish they had the etude house lip stains. i didn’t see any. a lot of the things here are good quality but there’s not much range. i’ll probably come back to get dolly wink lashes for my coords but i hope i can find the lip tints im looking for.

I have been following this company on IG and I finally had the chance to travel all the way from San Antonio to shop for Japanese products. The store is adorable, clean and the customer service is super friendly and helpful. I am definitely coming back again!

I really like the products BUT 🤔They have a policy of minimum $10 purchase to use Visa debit card.I have bought eye cream here in the past and bought my daughters some stuff. The staff recognizes me. But I tried to buy lip balm yesterday for $7.xx with my debit card and they said no. I didnt have that much in cash on me. Sad, because since I really needed lip balm, I took my debit card and $ to a different Japanese store and spent my $ there. I love the products and quality they have but come on! Im a returning customer, and I wasnt trying to put $1 on my debit card. Customer service needs to be better than that.

Cool selection of products; as others have said, stuff you can only find in Japan. Fairly expensive.But the customer service? Gross. Purple haired chick gave me the most stank attitude ever. I always try to be nice--dealing with people is not always easy--but the vibe was way off, like she wanted me out of the store asap and that she couldnt stand having to deal with me.I would spend your money elsewhere.

Its a nice place most of the stuff is translated not really sure why I cant take pictures of stuff thats not translated the only places Ive heard of that pictures arent allowed are smoke shops and certain liquor stores not sure what they are trying to hide or maybe they dont want you to find it cheaper online. No where in the store was did it say pictures were not allowed.

My wife and I were at your Houston tx store yesterday. The store was fantastic and you have a employee name Claire that is phenomenal. She was so patient and kind with us because we couldn’t understand most of the writing on the amazing products. She made our experience a lot better because she translated and explained all of our questions and we will for sure come back again hopefully Claire is there 🙂Dave Hetrick

Love this place! Great stuff, reasonable prices, and friendly service. Japanese products are a definite thumbs up; so glad this place opened up.

Decorém and store display is very organised and visually captivating. Its great to see a store that makes you feel as if youve stepped into a real shop in Shibuyana district or Tokyo, Japan. Does fall short of product availability didnt have much actual cosmetics and prices were rather expensive.

I heard about this place and I was really excited to see what everyone was talking about. I went in with my girlfriend. One of the girls asked if we were looking for something and we explained we were looking around first. We continued walking down the isle and she is approx 1 foot behind me at all times. I take one step, she takes one as well. After five minutes of this I turn and ask if there is a problem and she looks confused and leaves us to go back to the counter.We left seconds after that. This place is cute but the customer service is questionable. I might have been profiled or maybe they do this with everyone. All I know is I wont be coming back.

All their products are imported from Japan.I love Shibuyala!💖I love his home honey care and rose bubble bath! The taste is invincible! ! Almost all the household items and skin care products in my family are bought from this Tokyo lifestyle museum....Life is endless, shopping is not limited! 😝
