I came in to get my girlfriend a birthday gift i asked the lady with glasses if she could help me find an item and she gave me attitude lol i didn’t catch her name also the guy was giving me dirty looks but have better employees.
#ZeroStarAlert They deserve nothing. I scheduled a $60 make up session for a wedding in HTX, I’m not from there. I was across town and had no clue it was so far with traffic especially so I called to let them know I would be late. They lady on the phone said if I wanted I could come in and they would see what they could do. Well I speed across town, book it alllll the way across the mall (parked on opposite end) and when I got there they had sent the artist to lunch and take a girl an hour early so there was nothing they could do. Then the services lady says she would figure something out only to tell me that no one was available despite there still being 30 mins left of my time slot. Meanwhile there are a million employees just standing and staring into space. The lady I spoke to just put her head down and shook it because she knew she was wrong. Then they tried to claim I was a no call and no show despite me calling ahead and still showing up. WORST SERVICE EVER. I will never shop with Sephora again, I ended up going to Ulta and getting help despite spending over $100 on products I have no idea how to use. They really ruined my day and my event. Such a shame that in a store full of makeup they couldn’t even put on mascara and a lip🙄Shoot I’m already pretty and I don’t wear make up so idk why they couldn’t do anything especially when I still got charged a $20 fee. Shame on all of you.
I came looking for makeup for videorecording today. Ms. Mya assisted me with that, and she was very helpful. She has helped me to choose products which matched my goal. After coming home I made a try-out of these products, and the result is exactly what I expected. Thank you so much, Ms. Mya!

I am so very pleased with the service I received from both of the young ladies that were working on Friday, October 30th for closing.I have been wearing Beautiful by Estee Lauder for over 2 decades. I finally tried a newer version (Beautiful Love) at Christmas time last year and was very happy with this scent. And because its me.... It has been discontinued.I was very sad that because of COVID there are no samples available and I have such a tough time figuring out what scent I like. I received a Sephora gift card several months ago and been to two other locations but no one offered the solution recommended by these two amazing young ladies.I explained my frustration and they said, Why dont you google the ingredients of the scents you know you like and we can help you find something similar. If you dont like it, youll have 30-Days to return it.We immediately looked the ingredients up and they proceeded to read off the ingredients on several options. Success!!! I chose Gucci Bloom and couldnt be happier.Thank you ladies and you deserve some kuddos!!! I wish I would have gotten your names!!!

I have been to Sephora’s in about 6 different states and I have never had such a great experience as I did at this location! I am so sorry I didn’t get the Woman at the doors name because I encountered her first and she set a tone for my experience. After, I encountered Ms. Rabah (I’m so sorry if I spelled that wrong) and she was such a pleasure and very knowledgeable about a brand I didn’t even know you guys carried. I then encountered Brittney who was also knowledgeable about the different products you carried. I was looking for a loose sparkly pigment for my birthday and even though you guys didn’t have what I was looking for Brittney showed me other options and explained how to use them. She also took the time out to match me for Fenty concealer and I am very pleased with the results she came up with!!!! Lastly I encountered Shannon, and it was probably the best wrap up I’ve experienced in a long time! I didn’t have to ask her about the rewards she offered everything to me, talked me through my status and how to get more out of my rewards, and made sure I knew about my birthday gifts coming up as well! Overall this was a great experience and a complete 180 from my past experiences! Thank you to this whole team you guys are great!

The service here was horrible. When I went in they told us testers were something we couldnt touch. so we listened. we didnt touch the testers but then when we tried to look at the ingredient list on one of the products to see if it was good they told us we couldnt touch the products. how are we supposed to see if we like it if we cant look at it. i understand why we couldnt touch it but at least tell us in the beginning to not touch all the products and not just the testers
The customer service at this location is terrible. The manager was not very helpful. I wish Sephora in store service could be as amazing as the Online representatives.
I want to publicly declare (yep its that serious) my sincere & heartfelt THANKS to Angelo for color matching me to Bare Minerals Loose Powder Matte Foundation in Neutral Dark 24. I ran in at about 8:15pm Saturday night needing makeup for the next day. I was expecting to have the little machine pressed to my face but instead he walked me over and selected the exact shade for me with the first one he picked up and tested - I. Was. IMPRESSED! He was kind, very helpful and made me feel welcome. So again HUGE KUDOS to Mr. Angelo - thanks so much!!!

I recently went in there last Saturday to get my make-up done for my birthday. They were so busy on a Saturday afternoon, but they took care of me ASAP. Celeste, the manager, was very helpful, and she did my make-up since the other girls were still working on other clients. She explained every product as she was working on my face. Nonetheless, I looked amazing thanks to her. Great customer service & friendly associates. Will return!

They are usually very busy.Never had a bad experience.I order a lot of stuff online and sometimes if it does not work I return it at this location.I never had an issue unless someone who is not well-trained is at the counter but I never had a problem.FYI: obviously if its really busy you can help yourself with the products they have tissue, make up remover and mirrors all over the store you just have to work your way around.
They have a cologne sample box that was 65 dollars and you get a free full size one . The sales rep who was helping me out with the Cologne Told me that I could get this bottle so I was like cool and went tot check out. While I was checking out I payed the 65 for the sample box and brought the bottle with me. The lady at the register told me that it wasn’t the same one. I told her the lady who helped me out, told me I could get this one. I returned the cologne sample box. This store lacks Communication she wanted to charge me 40 more dollars to get cologne when it was the store associates fault for misleading me. I will never shop here again .
Visited here on 3/20/2014. Ricardo was awesome, very informative and helpful regarding my questions on BB creams, CC creams and tinted moisturizers. Marissa (I think that was her name) was also great, she helped me with concealers and brow pencils. Thanks yall!Oh, and they were out of the free birthday gifts, but said to come back anytime with my voucher and theyd redeem it, even if after March.
I come here very often and its always been a wonderful experience. The Sephora employees are so educating, humble, and FAST! If you ever feel uncomfortable about walking in because youll feel uncomfortable due to lack of make up or skin care knowledge DONT WORRY! Thats what they are there for. Super awesome location.
I have only recently started shopping here and there have been 2 girls who Ive encountered that were extremely helpful and complete sweethearts, I wish I couldve remembered their names. Theyre the reason Ive come back and spent my money here. However, I think Ill be going somewhere else because of the same snobs that are ALWAYS there. They seem to have forgotten that they work retail and somehow cant get off their high horse. Theyve made me feel like Im a bother when in reality they should actually be trying to help and value the customers who are basically helping them receive a paycheck.

I always go to this location for my beauty needs. Everyone there is always so helpful but what compelled me to write a review today was Jacey in the skin care department. She took her time with me to address every skin concern I had. She was candid about her own skin struggles which made me more comfortable in talking to her about mine. She wasnt just trying to sell me products. She told me about products and procedures that I could get there and others that I could get elsewhere. She gave me samples of everything she recommended and was excited to actually write out a day and nighttime skin regiment for me. She went above and beyond to help me. Her true passion was so evident the entire time and she got me excited about skincare too! Will definitely be going back to see her with any future skin care questions.

I have always been treated nice there. However, I called to make a makeup appointment (need stuff). She told me she was booked for the month. Then she said, Do you want to come during the week? This is Wednesday . . . huh? I said, You just said you were booked for the month. She said, Well, I could check and see if anything is available. Huh? Are you booked, or not?? Good grief, why do they let millennials answer the phone? :/ Off to Dillards . . .
Some of the workers are nice dont get me wrong, but this one women in particular kept thinking my husband and I were stealing, she walked by and rudely handed us a little basket to put my lip liner in because my husband was holding it and she was following us the whole time in the store, and we were in there for about 30 minutes because I couldnt decide what I wanted, she couldve handled the situation better and not made it so obviously she was stalking us the whole time in the store.

Went in for a complimentary brow tutorial and Julissa was super helpful and sweet. I even saw her interacting with other customers and she is so patient and informative.However the three star review is due to the rude cashier, the African American woman? With the blonde wig that got an attitude problem because SHE didn’t know return policy. I went over it with her from what Julissa told me and she acted completely oblivious as if I were making up the rules myself. She had to bring in a coworker that confirmed everything that I had learned about the return policy from Julissa. I would have given this review one star if it wasn’t for Julissa. Not sure the name of the cashier but she either should learn her job or learn simple common sense customer service.
It had been a while since I bought makeup. Years. Jennette helped me look for all the things I asked for. She even put the makeup on me! I felt very welcome in the store and Im glad I got to have that experience.

Kay i’m going to be honest i wasn’t happy the way i was treated. I’m a ‘brown person’ i was just going to shop for perfume this lady comes up to me asking if she could help she seemed nice. hahhhah i was wrong my sister was being decisive and couldn’t chose she went to back to get the full size bottle. I stayed to keep the place and line and when she returned. She placed the travel size that she Initially chose and placed it on the side. The woman gave me a look it made me very hostile and uncomfortable. I don’t want to be treat this way so i will gladly take my business elsewhere sis.
I really do love Sephora itself, but this location for me has not been the best with customer service. The times Ive gone the ladies at the front are not very welcoming...even when I smile and say Hello first. Some employees arent very customer service oriented. Kinda just stand around hoping you dont bother them, so they dont offer to see if you need help. Some personalities are seeming more and more like the snobby employees of MAC....which is why I tried Sephora in the first place. Great products but get rid of the burnt out employees working just for the discount.
I went to this location just yesterday and at first I was just looking to buy my powder base but I end up buying a cleanser that was recommended by the sales rep. And I must say that I tried it and I love it. But my feedback is about the lady who was at the cashier.. when I first bought it I was thinking if I should buy it online because of the promotions and some nice things they give away with purchase of $35 or more. So I asked when I first pay if I should buy online because of those little presents. The lady was just like.. meh, I dont know. So I anyways bought it at the store. Later I decided to come back and make a return and buy it online because I checked the app and they have this good deals if you buy online. I was approaching to the cashier that was next to the one I bought my makeup. I explained her the situation and instead of being... meh, she actually help me telling me that if we asked for some samples (that was the promotion online) they can work it out and make a personalize summer sample set. SO FOR ALL OF YOU THAT DIDNT KNOW LIKE ME, ASK FOR SAMPLES! Im happy she went above and beyond giving me a great customer experience and treating me with a smile on her face and really happy to help. I dont remember her name exactly but her name starts with a (D) maybe Desire or Denise she was at the cashier in the afternoon around 8pm.And for those of you who dont care about customers, and advice for you... you shouldnt be working there or in the customer service field if you are not willing to go above and beyond and give an excellent customer experience. 5 stars to the cashier and the sales rep who help me, but because of the not so happy cashier Im giving 3 stars to this store.
It was ridiculously busy when I went and their system was unable to find my card under my number. I decided to wait around until they fixed and look at more items. While I was waiting a woman named Shay gave mom samples of face lotion, and included one for my sons eczema. She was very sweet and helpful. When we were done their system was already back up, and we were able to be on our way. They were also willing to open my eyeshadow pallette at the register to ensure none of them were damaged in the box. If Im going to spend 50 bucks on a pallette, Im going to make sure it isnt damaged.Staff was lovely, system problems only lasted a few minutes. Store was clean and organized. Availability of items was good.
I absolutely hated it ! I am a African american woman and I promise you they let the Caucasian people shop it was three women that followed me around the store constantly asking if I needed their help I looked in the mirror to put on a lip stick I liked they paced side to side behind me staring put the corner of her eye. Then the main woman that was following me stopped me at the door and told me to give her everything that I was going to buy which was a tube of lipstick back in its spot. Everyone in there is absolutely rude and racist. Never again will I shop there neither will my friend nor family. And I find it hilarious because I just got paid I was going to get at least $400 worth of make up a whole new set for me and my daughter. Im glad Macys was open.👏

Terrible customer service! This location is usually a mess, with staff that could not care less about their customers but usually you put up with that because youre in a JC Penney, not a real Sephora. Today I went to use a coupon I had and grabbed a Buxom Lip set that was marked down from $45 to $29 per their signage. I get up to the register and am informed its $45. Well, no- the sign says its $29! So a sales associate and a manager go over and just go well the sign is wrong, take it down, and dont honor the pricing. Cmon! Its your signage that YOUR employees put up and youre not going to honor it? Thats some sketchy retail right there. I might have even still purchased the set if the sales girl and manager hadnt been so rude about the whole thing. Somehow wanting an item for the sign price made me in the wrong- not even an apology was offered over the wrong signage! No thanks to coming back, Ill just go to the regular Sephora.

I received an assorted trial for mens cologne for christmas with a voucher for a full bottle. After trying all of them and finally narrowing it down, I took my voucher into sephora and a staff member quickly helped me find what I was looking for and made sure I didnt need/want anything else. Im not a one to go shopping often myself, so they made it very comfortable for me.

I went into this Sephora location at Willowbrook Mall this past weekend. I walked in and spoke to a sales rep. I asked her for help color matching a foundation and she said sure have a seat. She said ok someone will be with you in 5 minutes. Those 5 minutes turned into 35 minutes of watching csr reps standing around with nothing to do, and no they didnt ask me if I needed help or if someone was helping me. Shall we say they were avoiding me. I finally got fed up with being ignored and asked the closest rep next to me if someone was coming back to help me. She asks if I had an appointment. I said no I spoke with a lady who told me to sit here and someone will be with me in 5 minutes. The lady walked off I waited like 5 more minutes than I left. If you dont have time for me, than I dont have time to spend my money at your store!
Rude employees, went this week as usual and I was walking around with a brow dip thinking if I should buy it and so I asked some lady who claims she is the manager and I ask her how much is it she tells me 18 is say ok and I put it by where the check out is on one of the small shelf. So I’m waiting for my friend to pay her items and once she does I’m looking at the mini shelf’s and I notice some of the employees looking at me with weird faces and my friend finishes paying and the cashier ask MY FRIEND ‘ you didn’t want the brow dip then ‘ and she replied no and so we are walking out when the manager approaches me and ask me ‘ so if you didn’t want it where did you leave it ‘ and i pointed at where I left it and she replies ‘ Can you show me ‘ As if she thought I took it without paying and all the Sephora employees where looking and whispering as if they were talking about me . But no I didn’t steal it I showed her where I put it but she was sure she was gonna catch me slipping . Rude employees and when I asked for her name she replies ‘ kristen and I’m one of the managers here ‘ as if she was saying I wasn’t gonna be able to report her cause she’s the manager .

After having saved up some money for myself for a few weeks I went into this Sephora to treat myself. I had just recently had my son and needed a little confidence boost, I had expierences in the past with snobby employees at this location but the woman who checked me out topped them all. She was a 30 something Hispanic woman who I had seen before and whom I assume is some sort of shift leader. After waiting a little longer in line than I wouldve hoped, she rang me up and was very courteous to me initially. When she told me my total I realized I had accidentally did my math wrong and got too excited and I needed to put my Hoola bronzer back because I didnt have enough cash. After asking her if she could put it back she at first told me no there was no possible way she could do that. After I started to say I didnt have enough money she cut me off and guffawed that she would have to ring all the other items up again. While she did this she myseteriously lost all of her former charming chattiness she had with me. So, to you, nameless Sephora manager, I deeply apologize I didnt spend as much money as you wouldve hoped. Now I wont be spending any at all at any other Sephora, ever. I wish I wouldve had the confidence at the time to have told you all of this myself.

0 STARS - Employees need BETTER TRAINING on customer service to serve all races! Have been here twice and not 1 single person offers to assist me when needing help. I have felt discriminated, especially when I stand there to ask a question and all the employees walk by and completely ignore me. Products are not organized at all, theres stuff all in the wrong places making it difficult to find what I need, this store is a complete mess! Customer service reps are just standing around doing nothing while the line gets longer and longer. No upselling or offering customers if they want to use their points for free products. Worst store ever!!! Ulta gets my business for this same reason.

Very rude staff. I was told a foundation was put on hold like I asked at checkout and I called the next day about pickup and the associate was very rude when I asked her why it wasnt put on hold and also when I asked about another shipment of the product. She over talked and rushed me off the phone.

Horrible customer service. I went on a weekday morning it was slow but all the employees were just talking to each other. Not sure if they saw me and ignored me or truly didnt see me, I went to ask 1 for the aqua bomb from belif, the 3 employees there processed to look at me and said that they never had heard of it that they dont carry it and that Macys probably does. I said well Im in a bit of a hurry Im looking for an oil free moisturizer and a black guy employee there said theres no such thing as that and rolled his eyes. I said really theres one right here (Kate Summerville) and he just turned his back on me, the lady was a bit helpful but I just said thanks Ill be looking around. I found one that I liked and went to pay the black guy was cashiering and he literally said nothing to me the whole process not a is that going to be all nothing absolutely nothing! I proceeded to hand him my Vib rouge card and again he rolled his eyes. I asked how many points I had and he finally spoke and told me so I got a 500 point perk and just handed it to me with again not a word or a thank you for your purchase not sure what I did but he was in a pissy mood

Staff are friendly most of the time but they seem to not carry a bunch of products or are always out of stock. For the most part its an ok store just to run in & grab some eyeliner or something but the one in the galleria has a much much larger selection so if youre in need of an item theyll most likely have it there.
