They just cant follow simple directions.Ordered chocolate iced cake donuts through uber eats and they sent me buttermilk ones regardless of the MULTIPLE notes left that I did NOT want buttermilk. I needed chocolate iced cake donuts. I mentioned this in 2 clear different occasions. No one knows how to read here or what?Aggravation is 1000x more intense when a strong 5am pregnancy craving isnt satisfied!

Tried the Shipley Donuts holes, ice mocha, and original glazed donut. Its pretty close to Krispy Kreme.

Best Shipleys in Houston in my opinion. Always fresh and kolaches are cooked to perfection. Also, they are staffed appropriately so you dont have to deal with a long wait.

Love there colaches jalapeño sausage and cheese nothing like them they sure make them with love 💘

Was closed but have open 24 hours on door. The open sign was lit up and all the lights were on inside the donuts were left out uncovered and just sitting on the racks to be sold the next morning.

I did not purchase any donuts . They are nasty, dirty gloves and serving people with those gloves touching the donuts with dirty gloves and taking credit cards, and not changing gloves, then going back and touching the donuts without changing gloves 🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮would never purchase donuts there . The health department needs to stop in . 🤢🤢🤢

Today, I reached the store at 7:40PM. The store hours were 5AM to 8PM. I waited 5 minutes at the door in cold and at 7:45PM came the worker and I asked him to open the door for shopping. He said he closed the store for the day. I showed him that the notice pasted on the door says the closing time is 8PM. He didn’t open and said he closed the store. Like seriously, then change it to 7:30PM or whatever the time you close!

The fat lady at the counter is a money thief. She took 12$ from me for 1 dozen donuts that costs around $8.93 and said i gave her less change... what a liar, i saw that she shoved the money inside the counter without counting it.... Fire the liar.

This experience could not have been more perfect in my expert opinion. Started with that Shipleys front door ding, then you are hit with that Shipley aroma as soon as you walk in, half dozen glazed was as fresh as can be, had to just smell them for a minute walking out the door to the car. They were still hot pulling them out of the box, immediately started to drool when i opened my mouth for the first bite, not too much glaze, lightly crisp and flakey on the outside, warm and moist on the inside, hint of buttery flavor after a couple of chews, then you can feel all that mashed together goodness in your mouth, down your throat and into your stomach. When it was all said and done, you just have a ball of warm feel good energy in your stomach. Downed all 6 in the parking lot in front of the store, those were not going to make it home!

This place I believe is open 24 hours and has freak donuts at all hours of the day. The staff can be a little bit more friendly but other than that this is a part of my morning routine. They have everything, at all hours of the day and a nice drive-in window that is very close to the 59 highway.

The donuts are never hot and fresh at this location. The staff is completely incompetent, I ordered and payed for a dozen donuts. They gave me 1/2 dozen about 30 seconds after I ordered. She clearly heard me say 1 dozen, but she waited for me to say something instead of just doing the right thing . this location suck

They dont do drive thru if you just walk by the window you have to have a car the lady told me, I didnt drive my car I was with my family eating at the restaurant next door and this happened!!!! Rude customer service and plus the guy was not ordering anything the lady was just talking to this guy and then a customer approached the drive thru with his car!

Most horrible Shipleys in Houston avoid avoid avoid. Not only was I given a clearly day old soggy cold half dozen donuts (at 5:50am when they had JUST OPENED) I was treated to finding a piece of plastic INSIDE the kolache

Very popular with the inevitable queues inside and drive-thru during the usual periods. Fresh as fresh can get for the glazed variety. On a personal note: good place for me to practice my very limited Spanish vocabulary because the staff are very accommodating.

Bad experience

Very disappointed. I decided to give this place a try since I was visiting from another state. These are the worst donuts Ive ever eaten. The best thing I ordered was the sausage and cheese kolache. It was fresh, hot, and tasty. The donuts are a BIG NO!!

It was bad. What kind of place doesnt have doughnuts when it is all you sell. I asked for doughnut holes and there werent any and I asked the young lady, if they were going to make another batch and if so how long would it take. And she said they were not going to make any more. And it was right around 12, and it is open 25 hour . Come on now

Donuts are good just didn’t have icing

I went thru the drive thru just for the woman to open the window and just stood there clean her nails, not bothering to asking me nothing. So I just left because she had a very unpleasant look. Like if I was bothering or something. But it should be my last time going there because this is actually the 3rd time the other previous two the other woman at least smile and ask if I was ready. I’ve been to other Shipley’s and I understand not everyone has a pleasant day but at least ask the customer what they want!

Visited this location around 2 A.M. went through the drive through and the employee said they were closed. Drove by the front to see hours of operation and the door clearly says open 24 hours. I called the number she answered the phone and I asked what time do you close she said were open 24 hours. As I was driving off I saw a car pull in and she proceeds to take their order. Terrible service

Shipley is just a houston staple. Good morning stop along your way. Be careful during rush hour as you may be blocking 59 feeder traffic if there is a line.

The drive-through line takes forever so just walk inside, its faster. the doughnuts are fresh and the coffee is good.

The do-nuts are not fresh! Thats what I was told when I tried to order a half a dozen glazed donuts. First of all who doesnt have glazed donuts ready to go?!? The employee added that its not his problem that the donuts are not fresh. I suppose it is also not his problem that I drove 15 minutes plus to go get donughts for a 9 year old who has been asking for donuts for the past 2 days.In the 13 years I have been living in Houston and going to this location, this is the first time I have ever been told that the donuts are not fresh!! This is evidently part of his customer service standard and all these years I have been underserved. Well thanks. I will be sure to save myself time and money in be future.

Quick, easy, and fresh as always is the case with Shipley’s.I went inside to order, but the drive thru appeared to be the main attraction. Should be a quick and easy drive they experience.Takes a bit to get back on the highway if you’re headed North on 69/59, but hey, at least you have a donut to keep you company!

Whoever the girls were this morning around 8:15, they need to have supervision. They dont seem to know at all what theyre doing, sat there and discussed my simple order for 2 minutes, then gave me the wrong milk and charged me before checking if it was right. Terrible employees. While the food is good, the customer service is pretty lackluster. They get things right, eventually, but any problem with an order slows them way down.
