Honestly I can say this was a much better experience then I ever imagined!! I called to set up an appointment for me and my fiance to look at engagement rings and to my surprised when we arrived the sales person had already put a few settings and diamonds aside for me to look at. The showroom was private and very nice. They have lots of settings to look at and loose diamonds so i was able to build my own ring. The sales person allowed me to take my time and not feel pressured. After about an hour we found the perfect ring! The prices were very good compared to what i saw when i went to other places.

My fiance came here to get a cheaper version of the ring I wanted. The ring he had made from this place is poorly crafted, to say the least. Also, the diamonds they put on the side of the ring cut into my finger anytime I hit the ring up against something. I went to the store to see if they could help me, and they treated me like the dirt on the floor. First I was talking to a gentleman, and then a saleswoman stepped in (I think her name was Maggie). She was beyond unprofessional, and before I knew it, we were in a heated argument. Her solution for the diamonds stabbing my finger? Shave them off...Thats right! Shave them off! How tacky! My advice to any man about to propose- avoid these CROOKS at all costs. Spend a little more in order to get a well made engagement ring that she will love. After all, your future wife is worth it. Hopefully my nightmare experience will save another couple some time and headaches.

OMG!... JACKPOT!!!My boyfriend and I had been to EVERY jewelry store in Houston and COULD NOT find the ring we both imagined, or if we did see something, it was ridiculously outside of our price range. Finally, I did a search and Houston Diamond Outlet came up. We went to go look and Jay (the owner) was amazing. He listened to what we wanted and started assembling diamonds right in front of us! He totally understood the design and was able to give us an idea of what kind of diamonds, size, shape, color, cut, clarity, etc..., we would be getting and it was WELL UNDER BUDGET! We were so surprised I was able to upgrade my center stone AND get the matching wedding band. This place is awesome and Jay is so easy to work with.

I visited Houston Diamond Outlet this past Saturday. For starters I had an appointment at 12 p.m. I was being assisted by Stephanie who was very helpful, patient and polite. I am currently looking for a diamond for Feb. 2018, so I’d been doing some research and wanted to take my time and take notes and weigh out my options. A older woman and gentleman were the ones that knew the prices of the diamonds and had to get them from a back room. After only being able to look at 4 diamonds ( 2 IGA, 1 GIA and 1 EGL), I was told by the older woman who was getting the diamonds from the back room that I was wasting her time and Stephanie’s time if I wasn’t planning on buying that day because they had customers who were ready to buy waiting in line and that the prices were going to be different in February. Stephanie so kindly was still wanting to help me after this was told me but I just couldn’t take in what I was told! I had never been treated so poorly and talked to in such condescending manner that I just wanted to run for the door. The woman completely embarrassed me, herself and Houston Diamond Outlet. So if you plan on shopping around or being treated as a human with some respect, please do not waste your time on making an appointment with this place!

I got my ring in July, it’s been back 2 times now. First time the baguette was lose, so it wasn’t covered under warranty. Second time, one of the baguettes actually fell out, again not covered under warranty. If I can’t wear the ring, BC I’m going to keep losing diamonds, what’s the point. $30k pretty much down the drain, BC evidently it just needs to stay in the box

At first the service seemed great as Maggy was able to find me a ring similar to what I was looking for. However, when it came time to purchase, I had a few questions such as about the return/exchange policy and they seemed very bothered by any questions I had. Maggy basically said she didnt have time for me. This turned me off. I was going to purchase this ring, but when someone blatently ignores and disrespects me as a buyer, I am simply not going to reward that kind of behavior with a purchase. Didnt matter at that point how pretty the ring was or how good the price, there are hundreds of other places in Houston selling comparable rings. So needless to say, I walked away from this purchase based on the extreme disregard that was shown to me as the customer here. Id recomend looking elsewhere, if they dont show any respect during the purchasing process, dont expect it down the road.

We recently purchased a 1ct custom diamond pendant and also upgraded the diamond in my wifes ring to 1ct. Both the diamonds are GH color and SI2 clarity and are beautiful. The price was very attractive compared to one of the jewelry chain stores and both came with IGA appraisals. Very professional service, offering a lot of information about diamonds but without the push to upsell you to something that may be out of your price range.We highly recommend HDO.

When looking for a diamond for an engagement ring, I scoured the internet for the highest quality diamond at the best price. I also went to all the typical jewelry stores (Zales, Jared, The Ring Store, Helzberg, and some local places), and none of them compared to the quality and price I found at Whiteflash. Besides the price and quality, their service was amazing.Despite all my research and careful planning, I waited until the last minute, and in a rush, I panicked and nearly bought a diamond from Jared. I had actually put money down and was going to pick the diamond up on a Friday, and I needed have the ring by the following Friday because I was leaving for Hawaii the following Saturday, where I planned on popping the question. Well, after putting the money down at Jared, I got a case of buyers remorse. I had settled for a diamond that didnt have the cut I wanted, and it just didnt shine like the higher quality cuts, but the Jarrod prices for those were too high. Also, I called Jared to ask about the cut of the diamond I was getting, and I couldnt get straight answers, and the lady on the phone really gave me the runaround. I was not pleased and decided to call Whiteflash.I had already spoken to Lisa at Whiteflash, and she had been very helpful, but I had spoken to her very early in my search and I wanted to do my due diligence before committing to buy a diamond. I never felt pushed or harassed, unlike ALL the other stores, so when I got frustrated with Jared, I called Lisa late in the day on Friday and asked her to pick a diamond in my price range. (I had already seen what they had because I live in Houston and was able to visit their place of business.) Not only did I need the diamond, but I needed it set in a ring, and sent to Philadelphia by the next Thursday. Why? Because I didnt want to pay tax on the ring, which amounted to significant savings, and allowed me to purchase a better diamond than Id be able to get at a store. At the time I was working in Philadelphia during the week and was set to fly back to Houston on Thursday night, and then I was to leave for Hawaii on Saturday. I was really worried that the ring wouldnt be ready, and Id have to go to Hawaii ringless, feeling like an idiot for my procrastination and ruining the proposal. Lisa assured me it wouldnt be a problem and theyd be able to handle it. I stressed and stressed, and sent a bunch of emails to Lisa, but true to her word, the ring arrived at 8 AM on Thursday morning, giving me plenty of time to pick it up, go to work, and make my flight back to Houston that evening.When I got the ring, it was beautiful and had a lot of fire. I felt much better about the purchase than I did with the Jared diamond. My wife loves her ring, and I couldnt be happier with the experience.I will say that initially, I had been reluctant to make a large purchase with an internet based company. Luckily, I live in Houston and was able to go check them out, and make sure it was legitimate. Their office is located in a building that everyone knows as the place all the premium diamond and jewelry dealers are located. They were very easy to deal with, and their selections made all the other places I went to look shabby in comparison.
