First time I visit here.You can choose variety flavors donut.I chose cinnamon peeling n glazed one.It is so yummy!Also the owner of here is soooo kind and professional with his donut.I definitely will visit again!High recommend!👍🏻

First time visiting here and it was excellent. The person who took my order was very nice and uplifting. The Bacon Egg and Cheese croissant is pricey but the size and taste makes up for it. I recommend this place to everyone 10/10.

The bacon and cheese croissant is HUGE! It’s worth the price and it’s very good. A great way to start your mornings and they also have tacos and coffee 🥰 our first time there and we’ll definitely be back, thank you for the great customer service!

Honestly this is my first time rating something but I can say this place deserves it, great customer service . First time there and was satisfied! Not sure if it was the owner who was working on the register but he was super nice and even gave me 2 free! Donuts for it being my first time there . Greatly recommend it !

I absolutely LOVE this place! Even though I havent gone there for a while, I have nothing but the fondest of memories. Whenever I entered, the owner, who is one of the kindest people Ive EVER meet, always greeted me with a smile, a handshake, and a slight bow. As he prepared my order, he always asked about my job as a teacher, and he was thrilled when I told him about becoming an administrator. There were times when I didnt go for a year or so, yet he remembered me right away with the same big smile. I havent gone there for close to five years, but I bet that the owner would still greet me with that smile. The absolute BEST kolaches I have ever tasted, EVER!!!

The owner is super nice and the food is incredible! The kolaches are quite frankly the best that Ive ever had. The bacon egg cheese croissant sandwiches are delish. This is a must try!

Best kolaches in all of Houston, TX. The gentleman who owns the store is extremely polite and runs the store with his family who are all very delightful. Ive been coming here for the past 5 years, and I dont think Ill ever stop coming by. The jalapeno croissant kolaches are my favorite. Unlike a lot of other kolache places, they use white cheese at Gold Star Donuts, and it delicious. I bring my family here every once in a while and they also enjoy it very much. Stop by if you are in the area!

I started eating hear when they opened 10 years ago, and have continued to visit regularly ever since. I dare you to fine a better kolache in Houston...cant be done.

These donuts will melt in your mouth they are so good! The regular chocolate frosted donut was amazing. There also were these little cresent wrapped sausages that were also tasteful. They did have kolaches there which looked good but I did not have. The guy working at the counter which I believe is the owner was very friendly and provided outstanding customer service. Place has little coffee style tables to sit down, almost has a mom and pop feeling atmosphere. I will be returning there for more donuts and friendly service. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a little slice of home in their BIG Houston neighborhood.

Great Kolaches & Doughnuts! All of their sausage kolaches use the larger sized sausage (with the cheese in it) with american cheese on the inside of the kolaches, the sausage and jalapeno kolache had both fresh jalapenos w/ american cheese inside the kolache with cheese and jalapeno in the sausage as well. Their doughnuts were excelent (i had the long john or filled bar). It was light yet crispy on the outside with a generous filling, I did not have one bite that did not have filling in it unlike shipleys where you have a much larger filled bar but you have a large blank space in the middle of the doughnut. Highly Recommend!
