Cory, the technician did an excellent job aligning and leveling my garage door. I feel so much more confident opening and closing the garage door. It’s not wobbling and throwing pieces of Sheetrock of the wall. I live in a condo and I never use my front door… my garage door is what I use to enter my home. We have a garage with a 10’ ceiling and wanted our garage door to go as high as possible to accommodate a car lift so that I can store more cars. I had such a great experience with this company. I had the unfortunate experience of having my garage door fall off of the tracts when we opened it. We called this company in the late afternoon on a Saturday and had an appointment scheduled for the very next morning! They had great communication, letting me know when they would be heading my way. I worked with the Spectrum Overhead Door team to determine what door components would best suit my needs. I was personally replacing two 8 x 7 four panel doors, with one custom length 174 x 90 five panel door (5 x 18 panels). In addition, I installed a Lift Master 850 jack shaft garage door opener. I feel the cost of the project was highly competitive in price as I shopped around for like materials with similar quality. The material had an 8 week lead time, but the shop was actually able to receive the parts in only 5 weeks and deliver to my home at a reasonable cost. I am very happy with the overall quality of the garage door products, the team support, and my personal installation which was somewhat challenging as I was raising the framed garage door opening by 4.5. The Spectrum team was very informative in assisting any questions or difficulties I might incur while doing the self installation, which represents their skill set and knowledge of their industry. I would have given a 5 star review, however I was missing some components in the original delivery and had to travel to the store to acquire the missing pieces. The Spectrum team listened to my concerns and quickly remedied the deficiency without hesitation. I highly recommend Spectrum Overhead Door for your garage door needs.

This is the second time I have used Spectrum Door. I was very pleased with work. The only thing I was disappointed in was Jorge quoted a price before the work was started, then state tax was added on to the ticket. I spoke to Michael about the tax but he said there was nothing he could do about it. My advice is make sure and ask if the quoted price includes tax. The first time they installed a garage door opener, no tax was charged.

This isn’t even about their work but the customer service is horrible down to the driver to the manager. A call was mad to talk about a rude employee and management was even more rude. Wouldn’t even give number to corporate. Would not recommend as well has reached out to the CEO of the company directly after management would not give corporate number. Next I will reach out to the BBB.

I went to Home Depot to purchase a automatic garage door opener and found out that their installation pricing was ridiculous. I ended up running into someone who recommended I give Spectrum a call. I called them that same night and they were closed. They still responded to me that very night and asked me to call them the next morning. We set up an appointment and they sent Mr. Kody out to me (HE WAS THE BEST)! He was very professional and explained the WHOLE process to me and did a GREAT JOB! Spectrum handled a complete replacement of two garage doors (16x7 and 8x7), two openers and the door tracks. The order was handled efficiently despite pandemic induced supplier issues exactly as specified. We were especially impressed with the Installation Techs, both of whom did an exceptional job. Great service!our 25 year old garage door finally rusted apart. Spectrum was willing to replace just the door or replace it all. We looked at all the parts, and they showed me how some of the old parts were just brittle plastic. Instead of letting me install a door with an old motor and drive connector, they helped me understand why a new system would be the best solution.The new door is WORKING GREAT. It has wifi and an APP! We can check our garage door from anywhere. The new door looks so much better, and the new motor is MUCH quieter than our ancient one we replaced.The most important thing is the service reps. I recently built a man cave and I needed a garage door that would keep the AC in without leaking. These guys did a fabulous job. The double walled, steel insulated door is top notch, and it keeps the man cave as cool as having a regular wall. My grandparents recently had a problem with their gate opener. Michael set it up for Efrain to come to their rescue. In one day, Efrain, with the assistance of several other gentlemen doing electrical, welding, etc. installed a new gate and garage door opener. My grandparents were pleased and impressed and will look forward to working with Efrain in the future should they have further problems.

I had a very old garage door, the spring is broken. So I called Sears first, they offered 300 plus tax for 2 springs after negotiation. But they can not come until tomorrow. So I called spectrum around 11, they told me they will be here 1-2. 1:12, they called me said they are 23 minutes away. 1:35, they showed up. The spring and rod is covered in paint, they worked hard to get it changed and did not charge me any extra. Very professional work and very nice guys.

After damage to the top panel, I contacted Spectrum Overhead Doors to buy parts to attempt to fix the door myself. They were very helpful and sold me the panel and carrier hook. After my installation failed, they gladly installed a new door for a great price.

Technician arrived promptly and quickly located the issue (wire open or shorted. He advised replacing the steel rollers with nylon ones which are much quieter as the ones installed were 19 years old. His work was quick and efficient and he was courteous and pleasant to deal with.

Spoke with Michael Wednesday evening regarding the opener not working. He gave me a couple of things to trouble shoot, but it still would not work. We were given the choice of repair or replace. We elected to have the 13 year old unit replaced. Shawn was very nice and explained the use of the new unit and programmed our cars. Garage door spring broke on a Sunday morning and called Spectrum. They were here 6 years ago to replace the spring. Our door gets lots of usage, so i wasn’t completely shocked the spring wore out. Just had a new garage door installed by Spectrum. We still had the garage door original to our home built in 1987 and it was time to replace. We ordered a wood look door with square windows panels. It really pops. Kody did a great job resolving some of the irregularities in our un-level concrete floor to get the installation done well. Service ordering and installation all went without a hitch.

The Spectrum tech was not only extremely knowledgeable, but very courteous as well. Workmanship was top notch. I will be calling to set an additional appointment the tech found on my main garage door.

My garage door came off the tracks and was barely hanging on. It was around 6 pm when I called Spectrum and they sent out Efrain and he showed up about an hour later. They replaced one of the tracks which was bent and also one of the brackets. They took about an hour and a half total to get everything done including placing the wheels back on the tracks. The door works perfectly now and they guaranteed labor for six months and replacement parts for 1 year. The pricing was a little high but I think the quality of work that they did was worth it.
