I called tuesday Oct 26 asking about a replacement panel. the warehouse guys responded that they have the particular panel in-stock but they wouldnt be able to come out that week due to inventory check week. so I scheduled for the following thursday for an appointment. I was told that they would call an hr ahead before the technician heads to my house. Now it is thursday, i waited till noon and still havent heard anything from them yet. I called the office phone number and the lady taylor just told me that the service tech is probably finished up somewhere else and will give me a call an hour before without being able to confirm he is actually heading to my place. around 4h30, i call again and a guy name Curt answered and said all he could do was to relay my message to someone else without able to confirm whether someone is actually heading to my house. it seems like the place doesnt value their customer business very much. i took a whole day off from work to make time for their service appointment and they cant even call me to let me know that they arent coming? not even a reschedule? business doesnt value their customers time.
The Wayne Dalton installers did a great job and were very professional. We highly recommend them. They made sure everything was set up properly, explained the equipment and didn’t take a long time.
We build a custom house in Magnolia and our builder used Wayne Dalton.The doors look great, all 4 of them.After they were installed, the 2 larger ones were very difficult to open and close and there was one hinge missing. We mentioned this to the builder. Our builder didn’t mention it to WD, first mistake from my side.While waiting for them to come adjust I personally installed a garage door opener. It was connected to the door to see if it would open and close the door, and it would open the door, but not close it on a Chamberlain 3/4HP belt drive. The door is 18x8. I was never told the warranty would be expired if WD didn’t install the opener, mistake 2 from my side.Now, any company worth their salt would know the installation of a garage door opener would not cause the door to malfunction after seeing the opener installed, but WD, the first (and only) time they showed refused to adjust the spring on the door. The other big door doesn’t operate well either, and they didn’t touch that one either.So I called WD myself and explained my position and they actually agreed to adjust the door with the opener and install the missing hinge, as well as look at the other door that doesn’t open and close very well. We set an appointment, and they never showed. I won’t go into repeating myself, but 4 appointments were set and they NEVER showed up.I hired a local garage door company to come take a look and adjust the doors and look over my opener install, and now they all work great.While I understand I do hold some blame from being naive, people shouldn’t be treated this way. Show up.
This morning I had a Genie garage door opener installed by Wayne Dalton Sales and Service. The service technicians Jacob and Mathew were two wonderful young men to install. They installed quickly, professionally and was just experts at the job. I definitely would recommend them to my friends and neighbors. Thank you.
The counterbalance spring broke on our garage door. I phoned Pam at Nationserve, she asked me to measure and photograph our door to make certain that the correct replacement parts would be used for the repair, their technician arrived promptly at the assigned hour, he and I released our trapped vehicle from the garage and work began directly. He worked without haste but without rest until the job was completed perfectly. I was/am VERY favorably impressed with his effort and success. Our door raises and lowers just as it is supposed to now. An honest and successful effort on Nationserves part. Thanks!

If I could give zero stars I so would. Got a quote on replacing a damaged garage door with a new door and opener, salesman Alex Campbell sent the quotes pretty quick. Call Alex and said this was good and schedule the install. Was told install would be Friday September 4, took the day off for the install, installer showed up about 10am, said that the door that was ordered was the wrong door, that we needed an Windzone door, told him that Alex never said anything about that, I told him to hold on and I’ll call Alex, he said he had another install and would return after he talked to Alex or on Tuesday September 8, Alex texted said we had the correct door and would be installed on The 8th and that they would call before arriving.Took the 8th for the second attempt for install. They called at 10:15 said the installer would be here within 1-1.5 hrs, they finally showed up about 1:30pm, installed the door packed up and was about to leave without saying anything till I stopped them and asked where the key fobs that was on the order? Told them to wait while I got my quote and showed them that it was on there, they didn’t even install the opener. Said it was back ordered and would be installed in a few days, again tried calling the salesman and the office only to be told that the installer forgot to pick up the garage door opener that it was in the warehouse. So I had to reschedule that to be installed and yet again waste another days vacation for that. After they left i reviewed my security feeds only to watch them take trash from their truck and throw on top of a construction shipping container in my driveway! Then they had the nerve to call today wanting full payment, told them I’m not paying nothing until my order is complete and installed. They said well we charge for the door, then schedule the install of the opener. This company is worthless!
Best service yet, called around to a couple garage door companies to see who could get out to fix a broken spring. Christie and Dan were so helpful and got me scheduled ASAP right before the holidays! I was running behind and Roy was patience enough to wait. His knowledge was so very helpful and he did some tweaking to the garage door considering I ran into it so it would close level. The service they offered was 100%. I will refer this company to whoever needs garage door service!
This company is an absolute nightmare! They set up appointments only to lie about actually keeping the appointment. No one from office called to explain or reschedule. Dispatch and repair worker claimed they came to my house and “tagged” the door. Uh little do they know I have cameras and absolutely no one ever came from their company. Yet still even today they claim they did and no answer.
This is a great company. But, if there is a small issue after the install that was missed, they do not seem willing to do what is right and correct the problem. They want YOU to fix it. Call the manufacturer hotline. etc.Will not be using their services in future and will not recommend them anymore. The customer service is sub-par.
Bought garage door opener from Home Depot paid for installation, they said Nation Serve would call to set up appointment. Waited 3 weeks for appointment for today. Said they would be here between 8-5. Around 12 i called to check, no answer, 1 pm /2 pm no answer. Called another number on website given on other bad reviews.. talked to Jamoine ?..Said we were scheduled for today, if they couldnt get here or late would call.. its now 6:00 ..no one called or showed up.Called home Depot could not tell us if Nation Serve picked up opener or still at store..Cancelled purchase and installation... Very dissatisfied with both.. took off work, no pay, costly for me..
Our garage completely stopped working. I got an estimate from one company for $2000 then decided to get a second bid from Wayne Dalton/nations serve . Roy, a technician of 25 years, came out and completely fixed everything for a simple service fee. As you may guess, my husband and I are completely ecstatic. Thank you, Roy!
This company is worthless dont waste your time. I was scheduled today from 8 to 5. Missed a day of work. They will not give you a block time only an entire day! No one showed up or called.
First Wayne Dalton Garage Door Openers are Junk, they no longer have parts to support the product, good luck finding them on EBay or Craigs, chances are slim to none.Second Nation Serve is terrible, They just dont care about customer service ! They can not commit to first call appointments, they only have first call in your area, They cant keep to a time frame, for instance 9-12 can become 1-3 after you have been waiting from 9-12. They have the most ignorant non friendly technicians coming into your home, they will tell you no no no, when you want something done in a neat manner, they will tell you no no no when you try to remind them what the office and the previous technician promised .I just say NO NO NO to Wayne Dalton and Nation Serve

I started off by calling wayne dalton corp number to find a company who could fix my garage door. Because everyone I google and called kept telling me. I needed a conversion kit because parts are hard to find. The gentleman laughed and said you wouldnt believe how often I hear that from customers.He recommend nation serve as being certified to sale, install and repair their products.So I called and talked with emily. I explained the problem I was having. That wayne dalton had recommended their company. She gave me the price and told me. Simply, if there were any rollers or something their techs notice needs to be replaced or repair. In order for my garage door to work properly. It would be an extra charge. She gave me a quote for 121.00. The two techs who came out to my home did and awesome job. They were both very nice and quick.No extra charge or smoke and mirrors like the other companies.Thank you very much and I will definitely recommend your services to my friends and family.
Strongly, I wouldn’t recommend. Office Associates on phones are not reliable on their words. Even for returning customer they have wrong system data. Terrible service.
