I arrived without an appointment (after a 1 1/2 hour drive from my home), and fortunately I was allowed in. Sales associate Dominic Gonzalez immediately assisted me, and I am overly delighted that he did. Dominic really knows the merchandise and was very professional & friendly. I guess I was expecting that sales associates @ a high end store like Cartier would be condescending & a bit snobby, but Dominic was totally not that at all. I actually felt that I’d made a new friend because he made me feel very welcome & comfortable. I just cannot say enough about him. He is the main reason that I had such a very positive shopping experience at this Cartier Boutique. Dominic is the best, and I hope his supervisor reads this.

I made an appointment by calling the store at River Oaks in Houston. When I arrived I was pleasantly greeted by the security. My SA Jesus was so wonderful to work with. He was able to show us the various pieces that we were interested in and was very patient with us. The whole experience was amazing. Cannot wait to add some more to my collection. If you are looking a wonderful SA I would definitely recommend Jesus!

I wish there was a no star review! I have purchased several things at this location in the past. My husband wanted to go buy me a new bracelet today and when we arrived there was a sign outside the front door stating to call and make an appointment. We called and were told there were no more available appoints today. Seriously? You must be kidding me! I told her we were right outside and that I could see inside that there were only a couple people inside. Told me to make an appointment another day. HA! I’ll take my business elsewhere thank you!

I paid two visits to the store with same sales person Kerry since I was very interested to buy a Cartier bracelet. The first experience was OK however the second one was really unpleasant. The sales person Kerry was very impatient. She didn’t welcome businesses and even give me a lecture on what’s not worth trying. Awful customer experience with Kerry

ISAAC TAPIAS. Remembering that name is key in receiving the full Cartier shopping experience. I was blown away by the attention and time he took with me. Furthermore, he is phenomenal at his craft and was able to GUESS my husbands wrist size from a picture on my phone so that I could surprise him. I absolutely love all the trinkets we purchased, but Isaacs customer service and knowledge out shined every single diamond in my new Love bracelet.

Wow these people are rude... be prepared to be practically interrogated when you walk in the door. I was asked about 5 different (not very polite) questions about why I was there, when it was just a simple boutique pickup. When the Cartier guard aka “kari” finally let me into the boutique, my order was presented to me in a bag and that was it. I was not shown the item, as Cartier stated would happen during the pickup, and I was not offered for my order to be gift wrapped like I selected during online checkout. They just handed me a bag, and basically said have a nice day. A very luxurious experience...Not.

The sales team are great. Helpful. A little arrogant being every shopper knows they cant afford the jewelry they sell but it doesn’t matter much. Service guy Jake also rocks! Not the friendliest environment for Asians or Blacks but again, the staff can’t afford what they sell to customers.

We were told you had to make an appointment to shop, so we did, but while we were there people walked in off the street and they were fine. At one point a group was actually seen before us, so theres that. Either way, everyone was very friendly and seemed eager to help. They deliver a very personal shopping experience and offered a lot of assistance as we had a lot of questions about the products we bought.

Can I just say the Assistant Manager is not only gorgeous but absolutely delightful! I came into the boutique during the busy rush with no appointment and she kindly squeezed me in. Without hesitation she called on one of her staff members to assist with my inquiry and they were so helpful! Thank you for making my last minute shopping trip not ruin Christmas. The staff is diverse and kind and does not make you feel unwelcome. This is complete night and day from my Dallas experience. It’s due to my horrible experience at the Dallas boutique did I realize how important it is to write reviews. It’s important to not only rush to give bad reviews but also give good reviews as we sometimes forget to celebrate those experiences. So thank you again for a wonderful experience!

Well they say you have to make an appointment but nobody ever wants answer the phone. We live right around the corner we went over there no one was in the store or even showed up to the store for at least over an hour. I hope the owner can afford to keep the store going at this rate. Everyone around there is excepting people and it’s not like there’s going to be 50-60 people in the store at one time.

I wish I could give them negative stars for ruining my love of the Cartier brand! In a sentence, most degrading experience EVER! Now I understand why people of color should shop where they are appreciated, and not just tolerated. Let me start off by saying, I had a great sales experience with Kerry Seeto on 6/26/21 when I visited the River Oaks Houston location to purchase a love bracelet to add to my collection which I was going to stack with an existing juste un clou bracelet. She suggested a size up from my juste un clou because otherwise they would cross one other. Ok, she’s the professional. I went with her recommendation, completed the purchase, and left a happy camper. After wearing for about an hour, I noticed the screw on the side was cutting into my skin. I returned today, 6/27/21 (less than 24 hours from the purchase), and was shocked to learn how rude and unhelpful the staff would be to a great customer! Customer service starts at the top….the director Kari Gonzales, refused to exchange for the correct size (which they did let me try on and it fit perfectly!) because my bracelet was “worn & had skin on it”. Yes, my black skin was on it!! I asked her how I would know the size didn’t work without wearing it and showed her the proof of purchase from the day before. Despite the 30 day return/exchange policy noted on the receipt, she flat out refused to help me in any way. I asked for a higher manager, and she gave me a sticky note with a customer service number on it, excused herself, and called HPD to have them escort us out of the store because she will not do anything further. Lesson learned to never do business with such a dishonest bigoted group of people again. All I wanted was the correct size, now I want my money back! If anyone reading this knows how to escalate further, please help! Beware of shopping at Cartier River Oaks Houston if you are a person of color.

I purchased the cheapest jewelry, in river oaks everything is fine, she gave me cleaning kit and travel pouch and some sample parfums, i appreciate that., the only thing that i really dissapointed, she didn’t wrap my jewelry box with nice wrap paper with red wax sealed that i expect it, instead only covered with paper and tape, no wrap . I saw in website or other peoples in youtube who unboxing their purchase although they bought online or in a store, they got a nice packaging like in Cartier website. It would be nice if every boutique or store would be consistent offer that special experience at the time of purchase .

My engagement set was created by Cartier bespoke service and its lovely. I like this store, they let you walk around without bugging you, which is common in luxury goods stores. Some people leaving feedback are used to naggy sales associates and seem to prefer that, but not here. Huge fan, Cartier, keep making beautiful pieces.

Service at this location is terrible. I am currently in the store writhing this review. I initially came in for a quick bracelet clean and was told my item will be ready in two business days and I would receive a call from one of the store’s SA. A week went by and I didn’t receive a call or text so after about 15 phone calls I finally got someone on the phone. I was told they were behind on service calls and that’s the reason why no one called me back. I was told my bracelet was ready and I was welcome to come in and pick it up. I went in the store when it first opened on May 16th at 12pm. I waited for over an hour to receive my bracelet that was dropped off for a quick clean. I checked in the with host serval times to see what the hold up was and she kept informing me someone is working on it. I spoke to three different SA’s and no one seemed to know what the hold up was. Another common factor- each SA asked me for my name and said “they’ll work on it.” It took me an hour and ten minutes to receive me bracelet. I’m not sure what the deal is with this boutique, but I will definitely never return here!

We came to this Cartier location with my wife on her birthday to get her a specific handbag.Because of covid policies, we had to make an appointement a week before for a specific time and we also mentioned which model/size/color we wanted to see during our visit.When we arrived, we had to wait for over 30mns, after which no apologies were ever made. The bag (color and size) that we asked to see wasn’t presented to us. Couldn’t they have called to let us know they were running behind schedule and didn’t have what we asked for?Part of the experience of shopping such luxury items is the way you are being treated in the store and this one had a complete opposite effect.I’ve shopped multiple times at Cartier in Manhattan (and had a delightful experience each time) and in my humble opinion the Houston location is hurting the brand and not of its stature at all.

This store has the worst customer service, especially for existing customers. The service manager was rude. For being such a high end store, I would have expected much better. Agreed with the first commentator that there is a lack of acknowledgement from staff when you first enter the door. We stood at the counter for a good 20 minutes and no one approached us offering assistance. Once Jim Gray came to us, he was very helpful in selecting the rings of our choice. He offered advises about sizing, maintenance of jewelry, and helped us to order items not readily available in store. He explained services very clearly and helped us design the engravings. We had to go back the next day to make small changes to the sizing and he was very helpful in completing the order adjustment.With regards to the products, we couldnt have been more pleased. We preferred the limited selection of understated luxury, the quality and attention to details, such as fine proportions of the metal to the gem, proportions of metal width to the fingers, and proportions of the overall geometry and the weight of the rings are unparalleled; Extremely thoughtful, refined/well executed products which accentuate timeless designs. Maison Cartier is not for the superficial eyes.

BEWARE: very unfriendly refund policy. NO REFUNDS. You are welcome to make an exchange but no refunds. Exchanges and store credit only. Cartier is not very upfront about this policy, I’m sure if people knew there were no refunds they would certainly give the purchase a second thought and possibly not return to the store. So if you purchase a gift for someone you better make sure the recipient is going to like it because you are stuck with it, no refunds. I give Cartier one star because of this policy.

Walked in with my husband and 2 kids. After roaming around for about. 15 minute we were approached by Sha Lilly Groves who seemed like she didnt want to help us or she didnt like her job that much. We asked her some question regarding some products she kept her head down and didnt want to directly answer our question or she didnt want to help us. Finding out after I purchased my product that she is the store assistant manager. Wow she needs some training how to communicate with customer that walk in thru that store. Horrible service!

I visited houston in october of 2016 and i must say the city and its shops are beautiful! I stopped by the Cartier in houston knowing exactly what i wanted a love ring! I entered the store with my aunt and grandmother and was immediately helped by a women she showed us to the love collection and was very kind after a minute or two Kerry Seeto my sales associate came and greated me & my family and continued to show us the love collection. I tried on many rings she was so kind and even gave me advice about what color of gold would look beautiful on my skin type and what rings would look good stacked I really needed that help because i am very indecisive. She offered me and my family refreshments but was rudely interrupted by my uncle! I could have stayed in the store for hours looking and the love necklaces and the Juste un clou. This store was gorgeous the staff were beautiful and very professional! They even sent me a New Years gift TODAY three beautiful books of cariter jewelry & fashion... my father now wants a watch. I will be contacting Kerry Seeto again somtime this year for my new love ring in rose gold! Very lovely store i recommend you visit and shop with Kerry Seeto
