I went here to sell my mothers silver flatware. I weighed it in English ounces on my kitchen scale. I came up with 99 ounces. I figured there would be some error and adjustments in this. I then multiplied 99 by .92 to account for the copper in the silver. All said and done my gut told me I had about 90 English ounces. I then multiplied it by the price of silver and came up with about $2100. I figure there will be a 20% fee for this service. This will leave me with $1700. I take the sliver to the store. Here I am told the difference between troy ounces, English ounces, grams and many other things about how my figure is way off. I was offered $610 dollars. I have a coupon for $50. I leave with $650. I am questioning myself as I leave. I get home and look at my receipt. The purchase weight was 2607. I call Goldweiser and ask 2607 what? They tell me grams. Okay, I break out my calculator and convert 2607 grams to English ounces. Guess what that comes out to 92 English ounces. My math was spot on. So now if I divide my $650 by 92, I get $7.00 an English ounce. Spot is like $24.. So it looks like I paid a 70% fee to make a bad decision. I do realize a troy ounce is about 10% bigger than an English ounce. I feel like a fool. I learned the hard way.

I went to sell some gold today. I was curious as to what my gold was worth. He explained to me the different prices based on karat. Not all items were real, based on the test he performed. But for the items I did sell, wow, I got more than I even thought even with the gold plated items.Andre Lyles provided great service and he took the time to explain rather than rush me out.

This place is a joke. Brought in 36 grams of 24k almost pure gold and they offered me $630. That was insulting. They told me it wasnt 24k and said it was 21k. I was at another place 20 mintutes before and they stated that their equipment could only test up to 22k and it reached their standards to be in fact higher than 22k.Took it somewhere else down the road and they verified it as 24k and gave me $1335. These people tried to rip me off! I laughed at the guys quote and swiftly walked out.DO NOT sell your gold here. SCAMMERS!

Called first - So asked to come there. After 40 minutes drive reached there to know that when I sell it is 10% less the spot. Very disappointed and wasted 1 hour 20 minutes. There are plenty small players take it for flat -$15 to -$50 range.

What a joke!!!! They offered me $6 for an ounce of Silver when spot was $16.58. 36%??????? DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!
