This is a 365 store, which as I understand it was set to be scaled down version of a regular Whole Foods. This store was to feature their house brand, 365.The people who work there, the produce section the meat department, bakery section are all fine. The problem is the rest of the merchandise, it seems to be mish mash of items. Little ever seems to be consistently in stock. They seem to put in whatever is available to fill up space on the shelves.I guess they having supply chain issues, maybe leftover from the COVID-19 pandemic. Whatever the reason, its frustrating.

So upon arriving at the location all eyes was on me, just like biggie said, If you want to be followed around the store, it’s a perfect location for all of that !!! And don’t be black while shopping the experience is worse. Because me myself I like to think I was created for a purpose much higher than this. I am deeply frustrated, disappointed, saddening and awakened might as well call me omnipresent.

Small and Convenient location around the loop. A 365 Wholefoods as intended to find a bit of everything while saving. Especially if youre an Amazon Prime Member. Pre made meals are always available so perfect for lunch hour and able to sit outside in open air. Hand sanitizer available at every checkout lane and they have quick self checkout stations. Parking is okay for a grocery store and nice to have security on the spot.

Cute little version of whole foods without all the bells and whistles. The team members were friendly, the products were all the things I look for when at a whole foods. Even recognized some brands back home that are private label here. *Cough, severino, cough*. Lots to enjoy and geek out about including local products Ive never seen before and a simple casual environment. Again its like a regular whole foods without all the pretentious a-holes.

This Whole Foods Market location was originally a 365 By Whole Foods Market. Because of this, the store is smaller than a typical Whole Foods.Because of the limited available space you’ll notice that this location is lacking a cheese department and a meat and seafood counter (there is pre-packaged meat and seafood available). Also noticeably missing is an on-site bakery department and the prepared food section is very abbreviated, to put it nicely.Overall, this location is fine to grab a half gallon of milk (when it’s in stock of course) or a few items but is insufficient for serious grocery shopping.

Location, location, location. This was a pleasant suprise having lived in Austin for two decades enjoying Whole Foods. While Ive been to the other Houston locations, theyre all just to far from my home (30-45 minutes). This store popped up a good 15 minutes away in the Garden Oaks area, but make no bones about it, its a store that positioned to capture the Houston Heights community and its dollars right across 610 North. Im still waiting for such stores to find their way to my Northeast Houston community, which is a food desert. The store is the same model of the HEB Pantries stores attempted by HEB about a decade ago. The store was clean, well stocked, lively and full of new energy. Simply, its a smaller version of the larger stores, but I will admit not as warm, but it has its own brighter profile.

Yesterday I attended a preview at the new 365 by Whole Foods Market in Independence Heights. This is the first 365 in the city of Houston and the second in the state of Texas. I received a little history lesson because I found out that the area was the first city in Texas incorporated by African Americans (1908). The new location opens on Wednesday, August 22 at 101 N. Loop West. The store has also partnered with Juice Society and Peli Peli Kitchen as both businesses will occupy space within the store. The store has all of the fresh, organic produce and products as well as wines and beers. They have fast, do it yourself check out lane as well as a very cool kiosk that lets you scan your wine bottle and receive food and wine pairings/recommendations. The aisles were fully stocked and ready for opening day. Oh, and outside you will see a colorful mural painted by local artists.

I desperately want this store to be great, it would make my life so much easier if it was great or good or even high-mediocre given how conveniently located it is. However, it’s just... not. The inventory control is a joke. The staff is completely clueless and 85% of them appear to be Chong-level stoned. The hot bar is generally more than 70% empty no matter what time of day you go, and they leave crusty, picked over remnants in the few occupied hot wells for way too long, to the point that the scraps are totally fused to the pans and the vegetables are wilted and turning brown. The prepared foods cases are also often similarly half empty. The produce is not well stocked, the remaining sweet potatoes were tiny, shriveled and moldy in spots. Roasted chickens looked like victims of a house fire, totally black (and they were just the “salt and pepper ones, so it was not a seasoning issue). Product rotation is sketchy - raw chicken breasts are all jumbled up with expiration dates mixed up, some expire on Friday and some expire next week, but not organized to reflect that. Plenty of staff wandering around but they all seem totally clueless and don’t seem to be actually doing anything besides talking/giggling to each other or looking confused. I was hoping this store would give me a great grocery store option to pick up items on the way home from work and to be able to avoid the perpetual disaster that is any of the three Krogers in the greater heights area. Nope. Whole Foods - DO BETTER. You’re owned by Amazon darn it, you have less than zero excuses to continue screwing up your inventory and supply chain. Hire competent management that actually gives a damn about operating and maintaining a store and providing customer service. Train your staff to be not terrible. This 365 needs help. At a certain point you won’t be able to count on local residents’ relief to have you in the neighborhood driving them to shop with you, because the convenience is totally negated by the failure to keep up inventory. If I have to go back down to kroger to finish my shopping list every time, then I’m not bothering with 365 anymore.***HEB on Shepherd, you cannot open soon enough!!!***

I like this whole foods because of the open layout, kind of has a Trader Joes feel. Parking lot is tidy, but I could see where if I went at a prime time itd get a little congested. I was there Sunday morning, lots of kids, which is cool, but be aware, open bright layout. The produce is kept off to the side, kind of self contained to keep it cool, but even being there with 5 or so other people made it crowded. Add that to individuals still try to stock I had to come back two times when I could spend some time figuring out what was what. Definitely not the largest selection of produce, although what they had looked good. Overall selections are kind if limited in everything, but, they usually have so version of what you need. Luckily I wanted Top Round Steak/London Broil, which is sometimes difficult to find, but other meat selections limited. If youre looking for a bigger selection, try Kroger, but what they do have here is good.

Great little spot to pick up groceries and a quick meal. For those week days when I really don’t want to cook, the food bar has lots of healthy options and is tasty. It is easy to find off the highway next to the Emergency Room and easy parking. Plus, I was told by the cashier it will be converted to a regular Whole Foods by the first of the year. Looking forward to the changes! Definitely a welcome addition.

I decided to try the new Whole Foods location. Since it’s just outside the loop, I expected it to be the same quality as my neighborhood market. The store is small with high ceilings and has a very empty warehouse feel to it. The produce section is tiny. There is no cheese counter. The selection is very, very limited. And I hate the fixtures. Did they forget to build out half of the store? The organization feels haphazard. It has the essentials, yes, but Whole Foods isn’t where you go for essentials. Save your money and drive down the street to HEB.

Not an isolated event either since it has happened before to me. 15 mins to shop and 15 mins to wait is the standard. Please figure out your staffing issues! Also, a lot of the cashiers seem overworked and stressed out and aren’t exactly anything near cheerful towards shoppers.

The prices mimick a regular Whole Foods with slight variances here and there. Given the actual original demographics of the area before the great gentrification of Studewood began in 2010, Whole Foods should of thought about more affordable prices for the elderly that have always populated the area. The customer service is great. Tried the kitchen on the back for the first time. They have good prices for a sandwich & side and the pizza is surprisingly fulfilling and price is different that other chains (large or mom&pop). The price for the pizza is $12 base price and $2 for each additional topping outside of cheese. The pizza comes in a rectangular size (and they are huge, one size only), with a soft sourdoughish type of bread. Ive actually had the pizza twice now.

I was very disappointed. About two weeks ago I bought a box of Mountain Valley Spring Water for $14.99. I went back today after having made a request for two boxes on Monday. At the checkout counter I was told that they did not sell this water by the box. I told the manager, Daniel, that when I purchased the water before, there were two signs around about 20 boxes of Mountain Valley Water in the middle of the front aisle; both signs read $14.99. However, Daniel insisted that they have never sold that water by the box; only individually. I was so hurt by the blatant lie. Then he said it must have been a mistake. Well if that were true, there would not have been a code enabling me to purchase the box of water. It is truly upsetting to be lied to by the store manager who evidently doesnt know the prices of products in his own store. Unfortunately I was forced to give a star rating in order to post this. There needs to be a zero star rating. Maybe a minus sign or a less than sign.
