I love this grocery store. It has a lot of food selections for vegans. I love purchasing vegetables, soybean products, noodles, tea, and coffee here. The selection is vast and everything is very organized. Very affordable prices as well.

I love to experience other cultures. Since I have limited funds for travel, small pockets of diversity and culture within Houston are a great way to start. India Mart was all it is expected to be. The owner is beyond knowledgeable and incredibly helpful with your quest for the India experience. I cant began to say what was the best part because with each turn down an isle a new treasure was found.Grocery store spice has always been pricey but India Marts spices ate unbelievable. Large quart size bags of Fennel for just over $3.00 will blow you away compared to the small sample cup size of McCormick you get for the same price. Hymilayan rock salt in assorted colors and sizes from fine to large diamond like cuts are absolutely beautiful to look at. If food is not your thing the incense wall is to die for. My favorite is the Satya Sai Baba Nag Champa and anything by HEM. I purchased traditional HEM fragrances like frankencense, sandlewood and patchuolli but added a lily if the valley essence called mogra. Each box has six smaller boxes with 20 fat, oil drenched easy lighting incense for $3.99. Bothered by ash fallout from incense, I purchase a tall brass burner which in-cases the ash but breathes out beautiful smoke. The best thing about HEM incense is that unlike cheap incense they do not smell of smoke and burning wood. Pure bliss from fragrant oils linger in your room for days.Indian food staples, hair care, spices, cooking utensils, incense and more This small grocery store is a must do experience.

The person in the counter is not good. He couldnt gave up his worst indian behaviour.

One of the fewest Indian grocery stores in Houston where you feel like you are welcome. Very courteous owner. Even in crisis all around, I found a lot of things in store and felt warmly greeted and helped.

The shop has tons and tons of options for anything you would want. The owner is a couple and they are the sweetest people I have met. So kind and helpful and always smiling. The best Indian store I have been so far. The items are relatively cheaper than other stores. Left the store smiling where the owner helped me with my bags to put in my taxi.

I visited the store around 6:30pm. When I walked in the owners inquired if I needed any help. They offered great suggestions for herbal remedies/cleanse. They have a huge variety of natural herbs and products. All in all enjoyed my shopping experience at India Mart and I would highly recommend them. They provided great service.

This is a moderately sized Indian grocery store. The owner is a really nice person, who speaks Spanish even though hes Indian. Visiting this store gives that warm feeling, which makes me come back again to the same store.. :)

I can always find what Im looking for here. And the guy at the register always makes it fun to visit. Plus he speaks a good amount of Spanish. Great store to always go to. Prices are excellent also. I love going here. I just wish there was a website where you can go to find in-store products so I can find them easily when I get there.

Great place to shop, a decent variety of teas and incense and spices, not enough books and Hindu religious items but still very well stocked.

Wonderfull shopping under young new management to continue the best of former laid down facility for comfortable shopping.Well arranged all items in all departments to ease the shopping, also extension underway for wonderful shopping with additional space and adding new items with grocery, produce, frozen, household gadgets etc.

There are so many Indian stores in the area, but India Mart is always my favorite! The people that work there are friendly and helpful (unlike most rude Indian stores & restaurants) and the products are always fresh and reasonably priced!

Im not really sure why is this store very big yet lacks the number of grocery items that a store should carry. Three aisles and I was done. Bought three packs of betel nuts... all stale. Im not going back.
