Very large store with lots of fresh varieties of meats and vegetables. The lines are always long and it always seems to take 20 or more to get in and out of this store.

Love this place! Great prices and lots of choices. My favorite are the fresh homemade tortillas! Meat market is great for BBQing with already seasoned meats! Fresh bakery with plenty of great Mexican favorite sweet breads! If you havent been its an experience.

I ordered Uber Eats thinking that it’s coming from “WINGS AND THINGS” I looked up the address and this place came up. So not understanding why it came from here but the chicken was horrible….it was fried so hard that I literally could not eat it. I tried calling Uber eats and the ticket number couldn’t be found at all. I defiantly won’t be ordering from this place again. I tried calling this store for over an hour and haven’t been able to get anyone to answer. They are running a scam.

Asked a manager where the restroom was, and she kindly told me. I went, and saw someone cleaning, and tried to ask if I could use the restroom (since there was technically NO sign) and the lady yelled at me in Spanish. And this is why I voted for Donald Trump.

A very nice clean place. A good combination of Hispanic and American food. Mexican style deli has been bragged upon by my friends. A Bank of America and a Chase Bank very close by. Good experience.

Only 2 registers open during the day, and I saw a light for 2nd register but no one was there. The taqueria didnt have all the meats they had on the glass either. I may try them again when busy but that was the whole reason I went during the day to avoid the crowds. I hear they have great homemade tortillas but I couldnt find them, and the person i asked didnt speak English. Ill stick to joe vs for now.

I decided to drop in because word is (by The Leader, neighborhood newspaper) that there will be some changes to the center, as it will have a new owner. I took a good look at their bakery. They do have beautiful cakes. Also, there is an area serving various types of fruit juices. Try the Mexican candy made with with milk. Tastes great.

The service at the registers was great, only complaint I have is the disrespectful re-stockers y’all have in the vegetable section. Went to grab an avocado that was being restocked mind you he left to go get another box, when he did I went to grab an avocado and as he came back he threw his box on top of my cart extremely hard instead of putting it on top of his as if he was mad. Next time there won’t be somebody as passive as I am, talk to your re-stockers.

The thing I like the most about this place is the meat market, second wouod be the bakery. They have everything. Only once I wasnt able to find what I wanted, kosher salt. They had regular salt. The food at the restaurant is really good. Love everything Ive eaten. Only problem with them is slow service.

They sanitize carts practice distance. The prices are very completive. Produce is outstanding. The bakery is good. The reason they get one star is simple one cashier at any given time. I have to wait while people with 3 carts checks out, then argues with cashier.There is no self check or 10 items or less options. Unless you have all day this not an option.

Thank goodness, on my 5th visit 2 of the staff members finally spoke English and I was truly grateful as Im not fluent in Spanish. I can get a idea of what is being said /written in Spanish and when I speak it its somewhat broken. At 1st I was hesitant on shopping here because every time I go all that is spoken is Spanish. But Im glad I stand corrected, they speak English too. Which is great for us Mexicans who tend to be more Texan than Mexican meaning our Spanish is not that good.Also we tried the weekend special a lb of Barbacoa w/12 corn tortillas y salsa ( The salsa is good and spicy,pica hot !!) for $9.99 and may I say it was the best Barbacoa I have ever had in my lifetime, mind you Ill be 50 this year. The Barbacoa was perfectly seasoned along with the Carnitas ( They dice them up unless that you specify otherwise ) that we also purchased and they were meaty with no fat or excess grease. It also tasted very fresh, 5 star rating on the Barbacoa /Carnitas.Pay attention to the weekly sales guide as they do tend to have great sales but on certain days like, Wensday/Thursday and their weekend sales.Predominantly, Latin products with a large selection to choose from. They also have food ready to eat with family meal options. A fresh bakery, meat market that you have to take a number from the ticket holder in order to be serviced and what seemed like a drink station for fresh fruit/vegetable drinks /juices.Its mediocre compared to Mi Tienda/Fiesta or Joevs. And they still have competition with the other neighborhood stores as far as the prices go. I would stop here for my Mexican products provided the price is right and various sales items but I would not do my over all shopping here especially if I wanted any American/International products. But I really think most products here are somewhat overpriced. My significant other said he might stop here if they had a lottery machine, that was the deal breaker for him.

Too loud, too gaudy, too claustrophobic, too bright, too jam-packed. Helium balloons hanging everywhere from the ceiling. No room on the floor, isles and, now, no room on the ceiling. I felt I was caught in a bad dream.

Their tortillas get 5 stars. Their poorly defined check out lines get a 2 star. People that shop here appear to be more important then the other people that shop here. No respect for 6 feet

We drove from Pearland to get menedo and it was greasey and fatty plus it had no harmony in it. To top it off we saw the worker pouring water in some the dishes and stir it. It use to be good and now never again.

El rancho was good. Its the check cashing place that is housed inside the store that was the problem (Rio). A few days ago I bought 2 money orders, 1 for 50.00, the other for 150.00. They charged 1.00 each I paid $202.00. They wouldnt give me a receipt says the stubb on money order was my receipt? Wait, what?. I did use the 50.00 moneyorder but not the 150.00 money order. Went back to Rio to cash the 150.00, money order they charged me like I was cashing a payroll check, what on earth, its your money order. Then they gave me a receipt.,what now i get a receipt, for what? I got my money stupido...never going to patronize Rio again.

Update**These guys have the best barbacoa, the green sauce is spot on and the tortillas make it an awesome combination. I will definitely recommend this..Great prices on some items but on others it’s pricier then their local competitors. Some of the meat isn’t the best. I just bought 3lbs of pork stew meat and about 1lb was pure fat. I do love the layout of the store with the bakery, taqueria and tortilleria section. I also have to mention the prices in the taqueria is pricier then others. As far as quality and taste I can’t comment on that since I haven’t tasted it.UPDATE: I recently bought “BONELESS” fish nuggets and to my surprise they had bones in them. If it wasn’t for my husband eating dinner with my children who knows what would’ve happened. I can’t totally blame the store but the vendor they use... yes they do get there seafood by boxes because I was once offered a box since I once bought so much fish. They should really check the products there selling before advertising something else.

I tought it was a nice grocerystore it looked clean and well stocked. But the service its awful. Today is the last day that i will ever walk in to El Rancho supermarket, gave them several chances. Today I was on line to pay for my groceries, the cashier comes out and points the second person on line and tells me that I have to go to another register because she as was closing her register, whileI had waited for about 25 minutes in line. I left my basket full of groceries an walked out no manager on site.

Perfect savings and a wide variety of products that can be found in Mexico. Of course this is a Hispanic store, however It is as great as any other main stores such as Walmart, Target, ect. Finally, keep in mind that they dont sell technology or games, however, that can be found to the right as there is a Game Stop there.

I will never step foot in this store again. I went to this store often as it’s the only grocery store in my area. I approach the counter at the seafood department inquiring about a specific fish. As soon as I approached a lady(i don’t have her name) she said NO ENGLISH. She didn’t try she didn’t care. My only concern with this is how the hell she knows I didn’t speak Spanish as if she just didn’t want to help me. I’m very disappointed. One bad apple can spoil the bunch and she did it for me

They have a lot of Hispanic items I havent seen anywhere else. There was a girl giving people masks at the door and there was sanitizer to clean. The meat prices are kinda high but not that crazy. Fresh tortillas!

It was nice and clean, the vegetables were organized and fresh, and the meet section it was very clean good quality is about 16 min. from home but it worked it. The prices are affordable too.

Pretty cool store. They have a bakery with fresh baked sweet bread and home made tortillas (theyre warm). They have a small place to get tacos from and tables to sit. They have a drink station where u can get horchatta and other fruity drinks, small seafood dept with fresh seafood including shrimp cocktail you can purchase by the pound, and a huge meat market in the back. Make sure u take a number cause it can get busy. The store is clean and stocked well and the employees are friendly. But I gave them only 3 stars because even though you can find a couple good deals, overall the store is kind of pricey. $6 for a box of cereal?! But their fabric softener and milk is a great prices. Also they dont have a normal selection of items you may need. For instance they dont have lemons (only limes) or they dont have mushrooms. Also the parking lot is crazy. So be careful - people drive fast! But great place to grab a quick bite or a gallon of milk or something.

There lines are always long never have enough cashier or at least an express line open so you dont have to check out behind someone who is doing the weekly shopping and all I have is a few items.

I enjoyed my visit,will shop there again, for real authentic mexican food and herbs and spices as well as hot an ready dishes like caldo de res beef soup.

Clean and reasonable prices. Pretty much specifically Mexican food, so if youre looking for variety beyond that, there isnt much.The meat, seafood, and little cafeteria all look well maintained and fresh, so if thats what youre after its great.The only real downside is theres another store nearby with similar items at generally better pricing, minus the cafeteria and meat counter. While the atmosphere at El Rancho is better, youll likely save more at the other place.

Juice bar and different types of frozen plus liquid drinks offered for consumption. Stores decor is ethnic and clean. Plenty of parking spaces. Staff is friendly and informative. So I came here as I always do and I get turned around due to my backpack purse, I was made to out my purse in my car, walking around the store I see numerous women with backpack purses bigger than mine, the office threatened to put me in jail for disorderly conduct due to me telling him I felt discriminated against, very unprofessional, the manager herself said my purse was ok but I was still sent back to my car but the officer
