I had an issue with my shifter when I took it, but at the moment I was there I asked if they can see my clutch because I felt it was very weak, well I thank God they did because it had snapped once they pressed to see what was wrong, So thanks to them I was up and running in no time they replaced the clutch wire once they made the order it wasnt easy, but they made it happened and they also gave me tips on my air on my tires because I had them very low, I would like to thank Tommy, Kenny and staff for doing a great job my bike feels awesome as Im riding and I highly recommend them... Found this place online looking for mirrors for a scooter, extremely friendly upon arrival found me some mirrors. I got to talking to Tommy and found they have a law-a-way program for their motorcycles.On 11-18-2020 I returned with their required down payment and put me a motorcycle on lay-a-way......was so excited to be able to do this. Over the next couple months I regularly made my payments and and in the mean time getting to know Kenny and Tommy, easy to talk. On 1-20-2121 I showed up with my last payment and proof of insurance to take ownership, signed all the paperwork. Tommy delivered my bike and went over all things someone says to a buyer. Had a great experience working with Tommy at the Houston Motorcycle Exchange. They are a hidden gem in the Heights.Had a 02 VStar 1100 and 07 VStar 650 I wanted to sell. Not wanting the hassle of selling myself was looking for shops that will sell on consignment or buy used.Struck out on consignment, large dealership in the Houston/Katy area offered a ridiculously low price. ( I understand this is trade in or wholesale, but felt it wasn’t close to the NADA estimated value from what I understand.) Spoke with Tommy a couple of times, sent photos and videos of the bikes. He offered an estimated price on the phone contingent upon inspection of the bikes. Tommy came to my location with trailer ( I didn’t have to hassle renting one) after inspecting the cycles was paid what I thought was a very fair wholesale price. Was a pleasure to work with. Side note, after talking with Tommy on the phone and in person felt he’s a straight shooter and will tell you like it is no BS. I felt he really knew what he was talking about when it came to bikes. I am a female first time rider. And I knew barely anything about bikes. My first point of contact was Kenneth Broun. I knew I didnt want a sports bike and thats all. Kenneth had an honest conversation with me about where did I see myself riding in two years. I said outside of the city with my daughter possibly to San Antonio or Austin. He suggested a cruiser, but let me get on several different types of bikes so I could get the feel and gave me information on all bikes. Then he put me on a cruiser and it felt right and gave me the information on it. I choose that bike because I trusted his opinion due to all the knowledge he had given me. Well yesterday Tommy brought me down my bike, and gave me some more knowledge and made sure everything was working correctly, and gave me ride as I dont have my license as of yet. I was able to get out and ride around the block today in circles and I am in love with my bike. I got stopped several times, people giving me compliments and telling me my bike was nice and I got a very good deal. I had a very good experience from start to finish, Tommy even called back to check up on me. They have made a customer for life out of me. Honest place. Owned and operated by motorcycle enthusiasts. Very good mechanics. Had a leaky drain plug that needed drill and tap. If you’re a reasonable person it’s hard to believe you’d have a bad experience here. Price was more than fair.(Kawasaki dealer would not help because bike was more than 10 years old. Great shop with super friendly staff!! This has been my go-to shop for nearly 3 years. They often are able to get my bike in and out of the shop within the same day, sometimes within a couple hours. Most recently they were even able to pick up my bike from a location as I had a flat back tire, and they replaced my tire and my front brakes within an hour and half!! Tommy and the crew here are honestly amazing, always ensuring my bike is safe/legal to ride, and also giving me tips on how to keep up small maintenance.

Tom is the guy to talk to at motorcycle exchange. I called him in the morning around 10:30am and he answered right away and said he could get me in and out the same day for my tires.I rode all the way from cypress when their is multiple motorcycle dealers closers like Wild West and iron supply, but both said they would take 3-4 days to install brand new front and rear tires on my 13’ Gsxr. My motorcycle is my daily commuter so I was very grateful for the services Motorcycle exchange could provide and they were also much better priced than the big dealers and are very knowledgeable at this shop as well. I highly recommend This shop if you ride a lot and share the same passion for riding as I do.

Purchased my Honda Valkyrie In May of 2018 from Houston Motorcycle Exchange.I was an out of state purchase. I live all the way in Murrayville Georgia (860 miles from Houston Motorcycle Exchange) and I saw the 1997 Honda Valkyrie on Cycle Trader. I contacted the sales rep (Kenny) And we struck a deal after a few days.This was all sight unseen. I did not even see the bike in person. But this was not a problem.They had a fantastic 90 Day lay away that helped me get my dream bike. I loved the service, and they catered to my whim. The bike was serviced at their dealership, fluids flushed, changed.After the payments, they delivered the bike 900 miles across the country to my door step. Tom himself along with his wife delivered the 800lb bike on the back of his F150.I was so pleased and anxious, I didnt know what to think of these guys, except they were fantastic.Tom, Kenny, Thank you for this beautiful bike. It was a great deal, and I am glad we did business. I will be sure to refer more people to your dealership as time goes on.

Tommy and the crew at Houston Motorcycle Exchange were fantastic to work with. I needed my motorcycle repaired in 1 week time frame and Tommy was reluctant to guarantee that they could pull it off. He said that he would his best but could guarantee nothing. Despite the parts being back ordered Tomny was still able to figure out a solution that allowed for then to deliver the end product on time. They did a great job repairing my bike and at a fraction of the cost that I was quoted from the yamaha dealer, with much better service. 5 stars of excellence are what they deserve for a rating. I definitely give my endorsement.

We recently walked into the Houston motorcycle exchange just to look at some bikes. After some browsing and talking to Kenny and Tommy we decided this would be where we would be buying our motorcycle(s) from. They went over every aspect of the bike we were interested in and even recommended a cheaper bike when we told them about the type of riding it would be used for. We left that day with a deposit on the bike we loved and being it was a Saturday I told them we would be back next week with the balance. I stopped by yesterday with a screw in my front tire, fortunately they were able to repair the tire. They had done a tire swap about a year ago on my previous bike and they did a great job then as well.When I picked up the bike they had done a test ride and asked me about the slack in my chain. Turns out the slack should be checked with someone sitting on the bike as it changes the geometry and the chain tension. My chain was too tight and would have resulted in premature wear on the chain and sprockets.This is the kind of service everyone should provide. I would recommend these guys to anyone needing service. Very thorough.

Very rude and poor customer service.. Sir, I had new tires on my motorcycle when I drove it to your place of business. And I drove it there, and back home with no problem- so that makes you a liar. Another shop with friendly service assisted me. You guys were not friendly at all. You should close down your dirty, nasty shop. Called.asking about repair.I hear a voice shout we are to busy.Red flag 1.I described the model and problem then was asked to bring the bike in.I walk in and say i called about the bike.He imminently starts arguing with me that yamaha does not make a rivaRed flag 2He then tells me the bike is to old to work on. Let me remind you this is a used motorcycle shop with most the inventory being vintage.my bike is obsolete though i guess.At this point i already decide i would not use their service as the owner continues to be aggressive and rude.?why buy a used bike from a shop that does not repair used bikes .Save yourself the pain skip this place

FANTASTIC experience! Very competitive pricing on tires, parts, and service. After moving into the inner-loop, I was struggling to find a reputable motorcycle shop to take care of my 13 year old bike. As soon as I started a conversation with them about tire prices, I could tell these guys were straight forward, honest, and customer orientated. My visit to the shop validated my initial thoughts. While there, I replaced both tires, Kenny walking me through the state of my current tires, got my oil changed and my chain lubricated. All of this was done in the span of a handful of hours and we then discussed tire break-in period and precautions, brake fluid lifespan, and future upgrades for my SV650S. Took my son to pick up some 2 stroke oil and walked out with a free helmet and chest plate that was given to my son whose just starting out riding on his KTM 50 Pro Jr. I was treated kind and with respect being a military veteran that kind of service goes a long way with me and will be returning for all my off road bike needs from sprockets to chains they you name it if you need it they’ll order it for you and have it within a day or two. Very cool little shop and knowledgeable staff all of which are true motorcycle riders and enthusiasts themselves 👍

Absolutely loved doing business with these guys. Everyone is real friendly and helpful, and using them to sell my bike was extremely easy and convenient. If you’re looking sell your bike but don’t want to deal with all the hassle and headache, I highly recommend using their consignment program. You tell them the price you’re looking to sell, they set it up in their shop and advertise it and get a %15 cut. Tommy was upfront, honest, and very helpful. In my opinion their cut was entirely worth not having to do it myself.I had bought a new bike a couple years back and unfortunately just couldn’t find the time to ride it. I’d wanted to sell it for a while but just kept procrastinating because I dreaded the process of having to find an honest buyer, transfer the title, and worried about the possibility of some random person scamming me. I spent months wasting money on insurance payments for a bike I wasn’t riding, and all the while it was just sitting their losing value. I wish I would of saved myself the stress and money by just going with these guys sooner because they really took over the whole process and got the bike sold quick.Bottom line, I could not recommend these guys more.

As a beginner rider, I was intimidated by the marketing and motorcycle buying process when I visited dealers. But after 5 minutes at Houston Motorcycle Exchange I felt at ease and that I could trust Kenny to advise me honestly. I wasnt treated like a girl or talked down to, as I had experienced at a couple of dealerships (which shall remain unnamed). Im so glad I made the drive in from Spring to check out their shop.I bought my first bike and the process was dead simple. Kenny and Tommy took the time to explain the ins and outs of the bike to me, and threw in a couple of needed accessories to boot. I really trust Houston Motorcycle Exchange. When I went in to buy a bike, they didnt rush me at all. Kenny listened to what kind of riding I would be doing and gave me a ton of information I didnt know about what would work well for me. They offered to take me on a test ride and were honest in answering all of my questions. I also got a much better deal compared to the other places I had looked.Its clear they all are in the motorcycle business because they love riding and love bikes. All of them ride, race or have some kind of awards.Since I have purchased my bike, they have continued to be helpful in offering tips and being really accomodating as far as when I drop my bike off for work, and offering a ride back to my house when possible.

Brought my motorcycle to Houston Motorcycle Exchange potentially to sell, and spoke with Tommy. The motorcycle I have is a BMW and not a typical motorcycle Houston Motorcycle Exchange handles however, Tommy did point me towards two other potential buyers and logged my information should any potential buyers be interested. Tommy was easy to talk to, clear answers, business was to the point and it was evident my need to sell the motorcycle was valued even if he was not the potential buyer. Has an interesting lot of motorcycles worth checking out!

Kenny was a lot of help and their entire crew is knowledgeable. My experience here was nothing short of amazing. I got a bike I like. A 1991 Nighthawk CB750 that runs great is a blast to ride and after everything Ive ever heard from my other friends purchasing bikes, these guys are legit. I would highly recommend buying a bike from these guys.

I read prior reviews that were positive and immediately called because I had seen a Suzuki Burgman 650 for sale. Kenny gave me the history of this vehicle over the phone. The next day I went in and He, Maurice and Tommy told me how this cycle compared to others in that class. The next day I came in with the money for the bike, and then Tommy went out of highway to contact another insurance company to get a better rate. Furthermore, Tommy delivered my bike and even showed me how to best store the bike in my garage with my car...... this is the beginning of a great friendship and business relationship.

This is your go to place all your motorcycle needs.if they dont have the part you need in stock, they will order it for you and have it shipped promptly. I got a new chain for a reasonable price and if you are on a budget they can get you whatever you need without sacrificing quality or reliability. They ordered some new steel sprockets for my bike and I had them within a few days. I brought them my rear rim and they had a new tire installed right away . If you are looking for some new tires go check them out. If the tires you are looking for arent in stock they can order them for you.

Very friendly! They helped me repair my bike when I first moved to Houston. I later purchased a Honda shadow and it has been running great, I use it every day for work. Good selection of used bikes for fair prices.

The only place I have walked into and not felt the entire staff was pretentious. Very helpful and straight forward all while willing to work with you.This place is without a doubt my go to for used motorcycle sales and most importantly general mechanic work. The best hands to trust your baby with.

They were friendly over the phone. They were able to fit me in for an oil change and coolant flush. Very affordable and they also helped with basic needs on my bike. Would definitely come back for future business.

Having a few motorcycles that were parked in storage from more than a few years back and not maintenanced or maintained -- taking them to Tommy for potential purchase was a better experience than I could have hoped for. Tommy was very professional and courteous --- once he inspected the bikes, we agreed upon a fair price. If the need arises, we will definitely do business with Tommy again.

I had a very positive experience with these guys yesterday while selling them my 2014 FZ-09. The entire exchange was very friendly, and dealing with Tommy felt very comfortable and genuine. He gave me a very fair offer that was higher than two different Yamaha dealerships in the area, and made me feel like he valued our entire exchange. When Im in the market for another bike, I will definitely make this my first stop.

Not only is this a great place to buy/sell your bike, but the owner has a true understanding and knowledge of title work that is necessary yet lacking at other places. The amount of care and time they take with their customers is incredible. Could not be happier with their customer service!

This shop specializes in servicing and selling older motorcycles. The service staff is super helpful, even if you arent paying them to work on your bike. Doing your own fork seals and need some help at the last minute? Stop in and ask these guys!

Tommy was very helpful, fair, and honest when he worked with me as I sold my bike to the shop. They lived up to their reputation and obviously enjoy the work that they do.

I contacted Houston Motorcycle Exchange to have them sell my 2009 Kawasaki Concours 1400. I called Tommy and within 2 weeks had it sold for exactly what I was asking for. Great experience! I would recommend buying, selling or doing repairs there, great bunch of guys.
