Worst. Return. Experience. EVER. After waiting in line inside for 20 minutes, I get to the front of the line just to be told that returns are outside. When I pulled up there was nobody there and no sign indicating that this was the case. I dont blame the people working here. This fault is entirely U-Hauls. A sign indicating returns are done outside would have been greatly appreciated, but there was no such thing. Maybe even a sign inside, but none was found there either! I guess customer service doesnt rank high on their list of priorities. As I write this, Ive been waiting 15 minutes outside for someone to come process my return. Like I said earlier, worst return experience ever!

Came to pick up my 24/7 uhual, just to find out after being on the phone for 1hr 36min for customer service that my reservation was changed from self pick up to in store pick, without any notification. Worst experience ever!! Do not come here after business hours!!
Ive used this uhaul spot twice and both times Ive left my money and wallet. The first time in 2019 I left my wallet in a uhaul truck with about 500-600 dollars in it. I searched everywhere couldnt find it when I received a call from someone at this location. They informed me my wallet was there. I went to go pick it up with everything in there. I really appreciated them calling me because now and days we know theres no integrity. Fast forward to Thursday May 24th I left my money in the truck again. Again, I received a call early at 8 am to inform me I left money in the truck. Zerrick, the manager called me and said my money would be waiting for me. Its very hard to find honest people now and days, but these peoplee here at this uhaul have Integrity and respect. I will always use this uhaul because they truly care and take care of the customer.Thanks guys and galsGTC
I set up a an appointment to pick up our truck with appliance dolly and furniture pads at 5 am. Truck was ready but the equipment I requested was not in the truck. We had to wait until they opened and then they didnt have the pads. We ended up scratching some of our furniture without the pads. Im still trying to make sure we get a refund for the missing pads. If you need equipment, I suggest trying another location. There are more just within a few miles.

I move from Massachusetts to Houston and use the u box service and both locations were under staff and both general managers were working their but off to help. Its a shame that the company doesnt provide them more help this uhaul general manager was professional and kind doing everything so dont judge this place hard if it take longer be patience the staff is working hard and as fast as they can
Worse customer service ever. After spending over $100 in boxes I was told to bring the boxes back for buy back. As I went back I was asked for the try even though I bought it from the same place so I know my records is in the system. They said that if I don’t have receipt the I can get store credit. After hauling the boxes inside I was then told that no store credit will be given. Being frustrated I just left the boxes. Scammed based on a never explained loop hole.
BE AWARE OF SCAMMERS WORKING AT THIS LOCATION! Theyll ask for your credit card over the phone to hold your rental and theyll say that the terminal isnt working. They will use your credit card information for their own personal use. I had to dispute hundreds of dollars after a U-Haul employee use my debit card information in multiple locations. Zerik Marbes who is the general manager and the person who scammed my credit card. He used my information in for his personal purchases.
General Manager Zerik Marves didn’t allowed us to rent a hook up trailer, because he said our RAM pick up truck wasn’t good enough to pull and that we needed a Heavy Duty truck. Hold on, let me go buy me a RAM 3500 and I’ll be right back! Really dude? We’ve hooked up these things before with no problem, in this truck and one time we even used our Lincoln Town Car. It wasn’t only that, the guy was very rude since the first moment. He will talk over you like he’s not listening.

Last month I rented a U-Haul from this location, even though my license had expired during the quarantine I had no issue. Today when I show up for my rental I am told I cannot rent without a valid drivers license. I mention that it expired during the quarantine while everything was shut down. I ask if they could speak to someone above them. At this point the guy who they would talk to jumps into the conversation. He tells me I should’ve gotten my license renewed already. Even after explaining I got a reservation as soon as I could and wasn’t given a date until the end of July he continued telling me I should’ve done it earlier. So during an extreme situation like this you are unwilling to work with your customers? And on top of that the manager lectures me on getting my license renewed earlier than the appointment I was given? I have used U-Haul for over 10 years, this specific location for most of those occasions. I will never use U-Haul again if they won’t work with their customers during a time like this.
Worst U-haul. Schedule an appointment 2 weeks in advance to get a trailer hitch installed. got there and the person on front just told me I can’t help you there’s no one in here. Ask why we do an appointment and they don’t let you know thar it is cancelled or something and answer again i can’t help you i just work here. I ask if they do have any other place where they can send me. His answer again was I can’t help you. A couple of persons were also complaining about appointments that we have. Ask about refund just hand me a paper and told me you going to get your money back 5-10 business days.

I ended up seeing 2 different amounts charged to my credit card a couple of days after finalization of transaction. Called them to dispute without any success.Would give them 0-star if it was an option to me.
I must say that Cameron, Chris, and their manager, the guy with southern accent, help made my worst month ever in my life much easier. Despite having to move three times in less than 3 weeks was exhausting, time consuming, and financially draining.These guys was absolutely wonderful! There is no words to describe the effort they made to make my experience with renting a 17 foot truck, a trailer, and a ten footer as easy with minimal waiting time. Very attentive! Excellent customer service! They answered all my billing questions and made sure there wasn’t any mistakes or discrepancies with any transaction.I most definitely will be returning to this location for all my moving needs, especially with their prices on moving supplies. The cheapest I’ve seen compared to other locations. And most definitely will recommend this location to all my friends and family.Thanks to Cameron, Chris, and their manager!!!!!!

I had a hitch installed at this location today; I am very happy with the entire experience. Alexa and her crew were helpful, friendly and very down to earth. Best of all they provided professional service without trying to upsell me on products I didn’t need - they got me exactly what I need at a lower price than expected.Great job folks!
I will not recommend this location to my friends nor family. I did the online rental thinking it would be faster but it took almost two extra hours to even get the rental. I was charged twice, one being an over charge and this location has yet to refund me. And on top of that Im not being refunded the full amount that was taken off my card. So not only did I have bad customer service, I was overcharged $227 and supposedly I am only getting $125 back when the right thing to do would be refunding the total over charge that was taken. This location is horrible and unorganized. I will be complaining to the district manager and I will never be using u-haul again. I would rather spend the money to have someone move my belongings for me and pay one flat rate as opposed to hidden charge. I dont understand how your company does business. But this is not a restaurant where you can decide to get a tip because you want extra money for a horrible job that was done. For some reason the website does not let you post honest reviews unless it is a good one.
My dad and I recently visited this location, and we couldn’t have experienced worse service. Although the employees were nice, we spent almost an hour getting our trailer that we had already reserved. Whatever the circumstances, do not visit this location.

I was overcharged for mileage. These people will send charges to your credit/debit card for several different amounts. I will never use Uhaul again. They are not trustworthy. They should be reported to a regulatory state agency due to fraudulent charges. They are thieves. Consider yourself warned!!!

Now seeing the Google Reviews for this location, I can now understand why the communication I experienced today (2/5/20)was what it was. I had a U-Pod delivered issued the day before but hours after they left I was informed that the box would have to move not knowing that the city was preparing to do work there in the morning. Fully understanding that that wasnt happening until the next day and the foreman informed me that I had until the morning to do so, I wasnt to worried about having it moved. The next morning which was (2/5/20) the city was preparing to do some work on the street. I was informed again that the box needed to be moved, I called uhaul at 7am just to get some type of idea of when the box would be picked up so that I could inform the city. I literally called for two to three hours (7am-10am) I kept getting the same answer which was someone will contact me. In the beginning I waited patiently but towards the third hour I became annoyed, irritated and ignored by a company that business is customer service which is suppose to help take the stress out of moving. Yeah right, if they couldnt communicate with me while I was in town, whats going to happen to the communication when I need my belongings transferred to a new city. I wanted to go with my first suggestion for my shipping which was PODS but the Uhaul place was near me and I was like what the heck Ill try them. No changing it now, plans have been set and things cant be changed at this moment so Ill have to deal with it wondering if my belongings will be safe and of theyll be delivered safely to my destination. Smh, if only I had read the reviews first. I could go further into details but that would take up the entire page, I just hope that corporate reads the reviews as well as listen to the recorded phone calls. They can clearly hear me state what my issue was and never was it about the box being picked up it was more of the time frame of when the box was going to be picked up. It could have been at 2pm hell I didnt care but someone should have communicated what was going on. To not respond to a customer for three hours is the reason why customers get angry and upset, its the communication or lack of it that gets them upset.

I drove the truck for 6 miles and they tried charging my card $170 for 139 miles because the truck miles obviously hadnt been updated in a while. This is my first and last time EVER doing business with this company and I dont recommend them in any way. Totally unprofessional!
Other reviews on this location were not favorable, but if you take a peek at some of the reviewers, they have only ever left negative reviews for any place theyve been. Ive made 7 moves in about 10 years. This was by far the best uhual location Ive ever used. I made a rookie mistake and got a truck that was too small so I needed to trade in the car hauler and rent a trailer. I came in at 7pm when they were closing. I was still taken care of and not only just taken care of, the staff went above and beyond to help out. It was more appreciated than theyll ever know due to the crunch time I was in with the cross country move. I can not remember the name of the female that helped me but at one point she was trying to call a relative (who managed another location) to make sure I received a discount that she was having trouble with. When I came in to the location she was off and heading home... she stayed to take care of me. There is a lot more to this story (this was the most challenging move Ive ever made) but hopefully you get the picture. I cant even start to say enough good things about the staff and the way I was treated here.

3 horrible encounters1. I when into the location to buy a trailer hitch and was turned away (along with others) because their CC processing was not working. this was the best of the three2. I walked into the store and followed the usual path to the counter and had to move a cart of boxes to get through. I herd a Hey!..HEY!! YOU CANT JUST MOVE THE DISPLAYS! from the store manager. They had moved a rack in the way of the usual route so the customers had to walk a convoluted, unmarked pathway around the store to get to the counter. I managed to hold my tongue after being treated so rudely by the manager and was helped by a kind young lady from OKC who I think deserves to be the manager3. On another trip to the store to rent a small trailer. I was asked to supply an alternate phone number, The first number I gave her was my wife (who I was talking to at the time) She called the number and it went to voice mail. I asked her to call back but she would not and wanted another number (as per the manager) they kept getting voice mails I had reached the limit of my patience and mumbled a derogatory statement about the manager under my breath as I continued looking for a friend to answer the phone for them. The clerk got up and reported that I had said this about her and the manager came back in and said that they would not rent me a trailer. I admit that at that time I had a total melt down that resulted in a shouting match. My wallet magically disappeared from the desk in front of me but I was too rattled think about it. when at home I called them and asked for the wallet and was told that they didnt have it. I then called nationwide customer service to demand that my wallet be returned and was able to get it from a gentleman in the parking lot outside the store.
These people are thoroughly gifted. They know all the answers to the questions you throw at them and they can get you out on the road real quick

Pretty pricey for just moving short distances, but the manager their Alexa was extremely helpful and even helped jump my car so I could take it to get fixed! Highly recommend!!

I used this place 7 1/2 years ago and the guy called me 2 hours before my truck was due to be turned in, swore at me and demanded his truck back. Made me angry and let him know his truck wasnt do for another 2 hours. He said he had people there waiting for his truck and I better get it back. Im a nice guy so I delivered his truck 30 minutes later since I was done and just having breakfast. The other people in there were fine, but this guy was rude. No where to be seen when I delivered the truck early. So, I wont use them again... ever. Just rented from their competition and they lost a lot of money from me, my family and friends. Hopefully they changed hands since then.
Dont show up on time (the time in which you booked), make sure you call ahead cause they like to shift when you are supposed to pick it up... They will have you just stand around and wait until your truck gets back (if it gets back on time) because they book things so close together to maximize their profits rather than caring about their clients.

Bring my truck now or we will call the cops immediately My mom wich has limited English speaking skills could not defend herself probably .We called back right away, returning the rental as well asking what was the problem? they had logical answer .

My husband and I rented a cargo van at this location yesterday. As instructed by Lawrence*, we were sure to fill the cargo van with the exact amount of fuel that it contained when we received it ( i.e. one notch above E). When we returned the van Lawrence refuted the initial amount of fuel and told us we were responsible for the difference. When we tried to explain to Lawrence how much fuel the cargo van acutally had, he coldly replied Oh well, you should of checked before you left. Meaning he didnt check himself and somehow my husband and I were to blame. This occurrence absolutely ruined the ending and excitement of finally being able to move back into our home after Hurricane Harvey. We will not be returning to this location.
Great customer service! Though the first location I visited at Fairfax VA was unable to meet my demands, my expectation was exceeded at the next one I visited. A staff was kind enough to put me through with the drills of towing my car behind their 10 truck to Houston TX where another staff was kind enough to help detach the tow trailer when I had no more use for it.

I reserved a truck the day before and went to pick it up during the reserved time. I was told by the employee that there was no reservation under my name, and I did not receive an email from them at the time of reservation confirming the reservation, therefore I could not provide her with the reservation number.I got a call later saying I was late for pickup and asking if I still wanted the reservation. I informed them that the employee I spoke with at the site informed me that there were no reservations under my name, so why was a reservation showing up now? The employee was supposed to ask me for my phone number as well as my name when looking up the reservation, which she failed to do. My reservation was there the entire time, and I left thinking there was none made because I did not write the number down or receive a confirmation email.In short, avoid this particular location. The young staff are very unprofessional and inexperienced, save yourself the headache. If you can, ask to be serviced by an older member that knows what theyre doing.

There are some nice ppl here I can’t lie about that BUT they are extremely hard to get on the phone even at 9:10am unless you are always local it’s next to impossible...and then because the facility is busy if you can’t get ahold of anyone it’s the customers fault because hey 2hrs of hold time isn’t enough they steal $97.90 out of your bank well at least in my experience with autopay they aren’t what they used to be as a company. I used to ALWAYS use them over last 10yr but they won’t ever in life get a dime from me. Last two experiences have been terrible the companies culture has seriously changed

I made a reservation to pick up from this location dropping off at another only to get there and be told I had to drop it back there. Valania should have told me she did not have a truck that could drop off at another location instead of just reserving and defrauding me out of my money. Let me decide if I wanted to pay more money to drop it back off out there. Not only is this an inconvenience BUT its costing me an additional $40+ to drive back to this location. I explained to Lawerence that Valaina setup up the reservation wrong and he could care less. No one would help. They were all very rude and very unprofessional!! What happened to assisting the customer and making things right? I guess in todays world its all about money. I will never use Uhaul again. I will also be contacting Corporate as well the BBB. This is a new form of scamming the customer as well as fraud. DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION!

Worst place do go your business. When trying to rent a trailer, the manager gave me a very hard time, wanting more than five phone numbers for emergency contacts. The other location did not have this policy! Sadly, it was a manager doing that.Nevertheless, it was very difficult to say whether the manager is a he or she. Very confusing and strange place of business!
Horrible, in the future I will go out of my way to any other location. ONE person working on a Sunday, they have a new rule (which they don’t warn you about) that you must have two emergency contacts and the employee has to call and speak to them before they will release the keys. All three ppl I have spoken to here have been rude, one girl literally sighed when I called and she had to get up to check (she was eating while on the phone) I have been in line for almost an hour and the worker is still with the same person, the line has 9 individuals in it. Just bad service all around and poorly managed.

I will not recommend this location to anyone. The racist lady at the front desk Alexa Candler called the cops on me for disputing an illegitimate charge on my credit card . She was rude, racist, very ignorant and had no explanation for what happened . 4 cops showed up and left in dissapointment as she was unable to provide any reasonable answer as to why the charge was on it . Poor customer service
Had a scheduled after hours drop off of a vehicle. You would think a U-Haul location (not a partner) would have a drop box for the keys. We contacted U-Hauls 24 hour support line and they attempted to contact the general manager (no success) and then were forced to drop off the vehicle at another location. 10/10 would never use this location again.
Very disappointed with this place, not recommended, my unit was burglarized and all my stuff gone. When the police arrive the management didn’t wanted to show the security videos and didn’t take any responsibility. They just wash their hands literally... worst place ever to keep your valuables.
Mike Capp the manager is very unprofessional and his communication is pretty INTENTIONALLY clumsy. I rented a tow dolly from this location for a special rate of $25/day, but they eventually charged me $55/day. He (Mike Capp) kept yelling at me and his subordinates who actually helped me out during the check-in process, who were trying to state the facts. He actually used the F word on me, and I retaliated. Customers, public beware!!!
Horrible service from older black guy. Told me i couldnt rent a truck because I was affiliated with somebody who couldnt rent. Next day was able to rent a truck. Im Taking legal action.
Very roude attendant, she used cell phone while pumping propane!Unprofessional, propane bill wasnt working, waited for 15 min. No one came to help, I was yelled at from a very young woman!
I wanted to rent a trailer. The manager gave me all kind of attitude. She later asked for 5 phone numbers. Upon calling the numbers, no one was picking, which is normal if people are not familiar with the number. She finally declined to rent. I would not advice anyone to step in that place.

Guys be very careful when you get a storage here. Within 2 weeks of us moving here our storage was broken into and the a month later remainder of the stuff was found inside the elevator room which is supposed to be locked and only employees have the keys to that room. Offcourse it was an insider job because all the valuable stuff was gone and the rest was left in there. This was within 2 weeks of us moving in. We were asked to purchase a lock which was easily breakable by the employee himself asked us to purchase the wrong type of lock for this storage unit. His name was Justin. The whole staff including the manager are incompetent and are included in these shady practice.Please DO NOT give cash or use your credit card with care at this location. We paid in cash for the storage rental and a week later we get a notice saying that our rent is over due and they charged our credit card which they were not authorized to do so with the $15 late fee. Apparently this employee Nate pocketed the cash that I gave him and gave a piece of paper which states that this is not a valid receipt Since the form came from his computer and I didnt notice the small fine print saying it was not a receipt thinking this could not happen in US I was wrong. No only the employees are crooks the management is part of it. The manager Mike Capps wont even return our call which means that he is probably pocketing other illegal benefits from this location.Overall, its a shame that this place has a Uhaul name to it. Please stay away if you want a storage there are just so many better options around.
I paid $182 for 6 hours moving in the same city..... Refused to let me take the truck to another Uhaul so had to drive another 50 miles to take it back to them... Didnt inform me til I was there to pick it up that they dont allow trucks to be dropped off anywhere else. Not willing to work with customers at all! The moving help they recommended was late and got hit with a late fee.... Dont use this location!! Its worth looking somewhere else even if this one is closer!
Their motto: We will be with you in a minute.Although they are very kind, many of the workers spend too much time socializing with the customers instead of attending the customers waiting for propane tank refills. For this reason, the place is nice for general concerns, but for propane tank refills, expect to wait for a long time.

Mike Capp the manager is the one who has made my life hell for the last month!!!!!! Im furious!!!!!!! I purchased a rental truck the beginning of March and in less than an hour brought it back. I paid $849.00 in cash for it.....I gave him my info and he showed me on the computer the exact address and assured me I would be cut a check quickly. Oh.....thats right....he couldnt give me cash back that day because he said the money already went to the bank.....how inconvenient!! Its been over a month and I still have not received my money back. I called the location 2 days ago and was told he would call back....he never did. I have called 1 800 Uhaul almost 10 times checking on my refund only to discover Mike Capp conveniently left off my apt number and screwed up the street name. Thanks!! I finally got it straightened out and had to VOID out the crap address that was put on there only to wait another 5 to 10 business days to receive my money and I didnt even use the damn truck!!!!!! I will never use uhaul again and I still have not received my refund yet.......

This location are thieves ...i rented a truck for 1 day and they charged me 2 day rental...they refunded me 61 dollars bur charged me 25 dollars plus for a blanket that was not in the truck...i counted 5 blankets but the insist there were 6 in the pack...very poor customer service too. I had to call 3 times to the claims to get refunded...the rental was supposed to be under 80 bucks but the had charged .y card 180 plus.
The wait time is ridiculous and the customer service is just as bad. They talk to you as if you are ignorant and confuse themselves the more they talk.
Please avoid this location. If you must, please use CASH ONLY. Otherwise, you will see weird charges on your card without justification, and would have to call Uhaul head office and wait for rerund.
Reserved online and had to stand in line as if I had not scheduled online. Should have a line for online reservations and one for walk ins. 15 people in line. 9:42 am Sunday
Most unprofessional and uncourteous staff by far, currently writing this as i stand here for 30 minutes without anyone even acknowledging me even standing here. 3 employees at the counter when i walk in and not even one saying may i help you or i will be with you shortly.

Had a reservation that was GUARANTEED! Show up to pick it up and they have it but cant give it to me because of thesystem. Been trying to resolve it for 45 minutes and nothing. Horrible service. Their guarantee isnt worth squat.
I didnt like the customer service. I reserved a truck and when I went there to pick it up on time, they told me in a very rude way that they changed my appointment by 6 hours because they run out of cars and if you want to complain call the customer service.
Got charged for $25.00 cleaning fee when I returned truck all clean.

Terrible terrible establishment...had my 2 year old son running a fever...dropped a rental truck off there...left 3 bags of tools and asked staff could PLEASE KEEP AN EYE TILL I CAME BACK.. and caught a ride to mason and west park toll(lakemont)..when I returned..place is closed bags are gone...nobody knows nothing.

Worst serves ever i went to go rent a trailer to move a car, and the lady their didnt wanted to rent it to me cause they close at 7:00 p.m and it was 6:50 p.m i still had 10 minutes to rent a trailer and get out worst serves ever i wanted to punch the lady in the face so disrespectful .. Dont recommend at all...
