This is the most authentic Italian restaurant in Houston. My wife, who lived in Italy for a year, was blown away by how truly Italian this place was. The food, the drinks, the atmosphere, the people… all of it reminded her of her time in Italy. Alessio, the owner and chef, introduced himself and offered champagne. He’s a great man and a great chef. Loved every bite and every minute. Thank you!

My wife and I had dinner at Fiori this past Friday and had a fantastic experience. The food was amazing. We started with the small cheese and meat board, which was delicious and came with plenty for the two of us. We both ordered pasta for the main course, garlic prawns for her and and spaghetti Nduja for me. While all of the food was exceptional, not to mention the appropriately priced drinks, the raspberry meringue desert stole the show. We will be back soon! Oh and I almost forgot, the flower bar is the perfect addition to date night.

So I booked this place for my birthday and ended up having a lot more people then anticipated about 25 total. The place is small, romantic and decorated with live flowers throughout the shop. Management was friendly and communicated very well with me before and after the event. As for the food and service itself it was just average. My friends became frustrated when the entrees were brought out before the appetizers and unfortunately, the overall quality of the food for the price was poor.I suggest coming here for a cute date night perhaps drinks and dessert but not with a large group. I brought my own custom cake but wanted to try the tiramisu in the future.

We had dinner with a party of 6 on a busy Saturday night. The atmosphere was light and airy, well lit, and decorated with cute flowers. (Would be a great date spot.)Scan the QR code for menu, but they give you a drink menu to hold. I liked the carafe of water in the middle of the table. We ordered the large Selezioni di salumi e formaggi. It was perfect for 6 with the cute bread baskets. (I especially loved the very thin almost tortilla-like bread bites. Light and airy, and delicious!)We ordered drinks from the bar and a bottle of wine for the table, service was good, standard speed. We all loved our meals, and I LOVED my mussels! They give you a very generous portion in a large bowl, and they are absolutely delicious. We will be back for the mussels!Coffees and desserts were great. Crema di marscapone e marsala was hands down the best dessert, SO YUMMY!I had the Meringa ai Lamponi (raspberry sorbet) with little cookies, -it was DELICIOUS!Highly recommend for a casual night out.

Simply Authentic. Being born and raised in central Italy, I found in this restaurant the taste of my home. Dishes are simple, yet carefully made with prime ingredients, which is exactly how Italian food is supposed to be served. The pasta selection is excellent, really can’t pick my favorite one, I loved them all. Will be back for sure, highly recommended!

Terrible services! It took about two hours to bring our orders, and she almost forgot our drinks! We told them two times we would appreciate it to get our drinks with our foods as well but honestly I think she did not even care about our table... Other two person tables had the same situation, It was more like any two-person tables doesn’t mean important to them because they’re making money in some other tables! We left the restaurant without serving our drinks even after 3 hours. The place is beautiful and the foods are fine but we excepted more respect.

This one really missed the mark. Service was incredibly slow — it took almost an hour for our server to come back for our order. My partner and I came here for a late Saturday evening dinner. The service was incredible, the food was fantastic, and the restaurant itself was beautiful.Although its definitely a high-class place, the experience was well worth what we paid. We started with the small portion of their meat and cheese board that went perfectly with the complimentary bread (at the good recommendation of our server). We then had a couple glasses of Riesling and the Dentro le Mura to drink, followed up with the Carbonara and Cacio e pepe as our main courses. Both the dishes and the drinks were delicious, and I was particularly impressed with the Carbonara. We finished with tiramisu for dessert, and it was overall one of the most pleasant and satisfying meals Ive had in quite some time.I also want to emphasize how much we loved our server, whose name I believe was Lorenna. She contributed just as much to how great of a time we had as the food and setting did. She was very funny and extremely kind, and wed come back just to see her, as Im sure we soon will.An altogether delightful experience and I look forward to the next time I eat here.

I’ve been here a few times now. It’s my new favorite place. From beginning to end, top to bottom, the place and the experience are wonderful. The wine, the service, the flower shop inside, all make for an ambiance second to none in The Montrose. It’s airy, well lit, and has a staff that’s attentive to detail and hospitality. There’s a deck out front and one upstairs and the flowers in view really set the place apart. The appetizers are just right. The scallops are great. But the lamb. Oh my god! Have the lamb.

After seeing all the great delights on Social Media about how this was a great and new Houston Hot Spot, I was (now very past tense) incredibly eager to visit. Good Points to mention: The entryway was amazing, the interior of the place was right up my alley. I loved the flower shop surroundings. There was so much put into the optic component of this restaurant. And for the visuals I give it an extra star. However the food and service wrecked the place and now this review. I like service to be slow and casual but not absent. The food tastes definitely missed the mark completely. Weak flavors and cold temperatures ruined it and showed other restaurants how to champion mediocrity at a normal price. The bright and shining star was the cookie I received with my espresso. Very Very disappointed. I wish they used the same energy of the physical restaurant to pick their staff and prepare food. This restaurant its very lucky to get two stars.

Food was really great. Very below average service. I agree with most things being said here about the service and food. Fiori has such great potential if only they would get wait staff that know what they are doing. It’s like this is their first job at a restaurant. Food is very good and I’m happy to pay the prices associated with it if the service is good! I’ll be back, but please consider retraining staff or getting new experienced waiters. Wrong food was brought and didn’t get our wine until after our food was finished. Very nice people just clearly have never worked in a restaurant.

This was my first time here. Not sure if I could have had a better experience.Carbonara:The food was phenomenally authentic. The best carbonara Ive had yet. Truly. At first bite it seemed to be a bit salty but as I continued to eat, it just kept getting better and better. This was quality pecorino romano cheese! The pasta was cooked perfectly. Not too soft and not too hard.Cocktails:I love egg white cocktails and they didnt have any on the menu, so the bartender came out to the table to let me know he could concoct something for me. He did. It was delicious! My friend whom was dining with me requested an espresso martini (not on menu) with tequila and Allen (the bartender) delivered! It was the best espresso martini Ive ever had and will order them with tequila moving forward or just get them from Allen. Allen allowed us to communicate and learn more about cocktails and his passion behind the bar. Hes incredibly talented and definitely knows what hes doing. If theres some ingredients you tend to favor, let him know and he could probably create a drink and experience youll most likely call your favorite. I could definitely see his bar being my go to spot when wanting to meet with friends for drinks. Also, his gingercelo is to die for.We were lucky enough to close the restaurant down by being the last customers there and had the pleasure of meeting Chef Alessio. He is an absolute pleasure and knows the beauty in simplicity of flavors from his hometown of Roma, Italy. You can tell that hes a hard worker and no matter what, he wants you to feel like family and that youre always welcome. Hes a good man that knows how to communicate and is willing to problem solve. Authentic indeed!

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I never EVER fault the server if the food is poor, and poor quality it was. The service here is AWFUL. Waited 20 minutes just for water to be brought to the table and promptly spilled all over my lap and cell phone. She offered to bring a new napkin as I used mine to clean up and never did. I watched her be attentive to 2 other tables (restaurant was nearly empty) as she ignored my husband and I. We ordered a cheese board, some off menu burrata, and some moscato with plans to order entrees but the food was so subpar, we paid and left the appetizers barely touched. An expensive mistake, take your business over to rice village at Coppa Osteria for real Italian food and good service.

Honestly, the worst Italian food I’ve EVER had. I lived in Italy for a couple of years and I’m originally from NYC. I’ve been here for 7 months and I’m on the hunt for some great Italian in Houston. This was definitely not it. It’s unfortunate because the place is really cute and I really wanted to like it but the food itself was flavorless, overcooked and overpriced. Almost felt like a scam. I think one of the waiters pretends to be from Italy. Idk lol..We were so disappointed. The waitstaff was slightly off-balance and out of sync but they were really sweet and tried their best..unfortunately, the food is just terrible. My boyfriend and I were hysterical bc I can’t cook to save my life but we both thought my sauce might be better than theirs and thats scary 😝🤣 lol.

My 3 stars could easily go to a 5 with just a few things addressed. We went to Fiori for a friends birthday and immediately LOVED the place. It’s super cute, great ambiance, and great location. The drinks were spot on and the food was delicious, but the service was really not good and honestly made the experience not worth the money. I don’t need to be waited on hand and foot, but we had to track someone down every single step of our meal from our initial order, to drink refills, to entrees, to dessert. Each time we had to find someone to take our order and we had no idea who our actual server was. I had to request a refill of the water carafe each time even though it was sitting on the table empty and the waitstaff were not trained on how to clear items while thinking ahead that you might need things still or they might need to replace things for you. Half of our silverware was collected prior to our food coming out after finishing appetizers. You’d think if they collect silverware in preparation for your next course, you’d receive replacement for what was taken, right? So I requested a few new sets of silverware for those of us missing items and a waitress came back with only one set. Midway through entrees, someone collected empty glasses and took all of our water cups leaving 3 cups with alcoholic beverages (I had stopped drinking as I was driving) on the table and 4 people sitting in chairs. I was showing someone something in my phone and hadn’t realized my water cup had been removed until the waiter had left. So I had to request another water cup, but I had to wave someone down after 10 minutes of waiting for someone to come by. If there are 4 people at the table and only 3 glasses left on the table in the middle of the meal, I’d imagine you’d know someone needs a drink replacement? Apparently not. Throughout the night drinks were taken to wrong tables multiple times, we were presented with drinks that were not ours, food was brought to the wrong table. The owner came around a couple times and we voiced how delightful the food and drinks were, but also that we were disappointed in the lack of attentiveness. One lovely waitress helped us a few times and any time we asked her for something, it got taken care of, but it was 50/50 to get what we asked for from anyone else.I know this is a new place, so I’m hopeful the management or owner will read this and take it to heart. This could easily be a wonderful place that I go to often, but the confusion and inattentiveness we experienced would have to be worked on. Maybe tonight was just a VERY off night? We paid nearly $350 for 4 people, and that most certainly was not worth the service we received today. I will come back again for the delicious food and drinks, but if the service isn’t leaps and bounds better next time, it will be my last time unfortunately.

I was so excited to try this place for our first date night out in months. It seemed like such a cute spot so we made the drive to check it out. Upon arriving, we had a 15 minute wait although we had a reservation which was perfectly fine seeing that it’s brand new and looked pretty busy, they offered us complimentary wine while we waited. Once we were seated we ordered mussels which were delicious, however multiple servers offered us a bowl for our shells and it never showed up which wasn’t a big deal just a tad bit annoying. We waited patiently for about 35 minutes while my boyfriend scarfed down the rest of the bread she had brought us because at this point we were starving and had been finished with our drinks for quite a while. After a long wait I was brought the wrong entree and was told I would be charged for the meal I had not even ordered because she stated “the chef is very upset with me for messing up your order”. At this point I became upset because it was mistake after mistake. Once I finally received my food it tasted like it was doused in salt, as well as my bf side salad!! I wanted to enjoy this place so bad because of the ambiance and experience I was expecting but I was extremely disappointed. Next time we’ll make sure to stick to our usual Italian restaurants up the street.

The attentive staff greeted us at the door by the flower market which was a warm introduction to the ambiance to come. The meal began with Burrata Fritta. It was delicate & wonderful, served in a flavorful pomodoro sauce. Our entrees included the veal saltimbocca (very tender and light), Scallop Risotto and the arugula salad with shrimp, all of which everyone enjoyed. The wine list was reasonable and most selections were offered by the glass if you did not choose to get a bottle. I highly recommend making Fiori a place to go.
