Never called me back. Left numerous messages.

I took an Arhaus mirror frame to have a new beveled mirror set in as the previous one had broke. They quoted me 1 week and it took over 2 months until I received the mirror back. For some apparent reason Portage Glass was unable to put a beveled mirror in like the mirror frame previously had. They ended up replacing it with a basic flat mirror. The mirror back is in complete disarray (the mirror held in with painters tape and screws which are not flush with the back). Needless to say, he did give it to me at no-charge which made me contemplate writing this review. However, this original $900+ mirror is now completely “botched” and will cost me more money to fix now than if I had went with a reputable company in the first place. Portage Glass and their communication is awful. I continually had to follow-up with them to check on the status and get updates. Please, save yourself the time, effort, aggravation and energy...go with another company.

Ive stopped by 4 times in the morning and no one is there. I cant leave my screens at the door with just a note. This is not owned by portage glass.

I took a piece of glass to match. They took 2 months and today I received the piece back. It is not the same dimensions, even though I left the exact piece I wanted match. The piece was tinted, the new piece was not. The piece had round bumps, the new piece was wavy. A average persons eye could tell this was nothing that I requested. Nothing like the sample piece I took. Very very very very very disappointed...

Horrible business. Never fixed windows. Never completed the quote. I contacted this company in the middle of November 2020 to have them come out to give quotes for three windows that needed repairs. The gentleman that runs the office scheduled someone to go out that week. They came out and left within five minutes. I called one week later to hear the quote which the office manager said I’d get a call back the next day. No luck. I continued to call weekly and get the same response each week without a callback through the middle of December 2020. I would never recommend this company to anyone I knew nor will I use them in the future. I still have three windows that need repairs. No wonder why they had to change names.

Don’t confuse this business with Portage Glass, the business that used to be located on the premises. They have nothing in common, except for the location. Poor quality work, poor business sense. The former owner, Al, would be embarrassed.

Very expensive. Shop was basically caked in cigarette smoke. Was taken advantage of in a very unfortunate circumstance we were put in with our window screens. Al continuously gave me different pricing, kept asking for cash instead of card or check. I was even wanting to possibly order a screen door through him and he told me if I wanted one it would be $300! Laughable; they are $88 at Lowe’s for two of them! Save your money, frustration, and go else where.

Have always gotten results, regardless of my requests. These guys are experienced & professional. Well known in my neck of woods!

My 7 screens look put together well. They made the frame and the screen. Price is right. The entire process took over 4 weeks as they were running behind. Lost my order after the 4 weeks and then made them in a day. Small business and no back ups when others are out. Disorganized small business. Couldnt provide me with information asked for. Gave them opportunity to make right and they chose not to. Very frustrating.

These guys know their stuff. Al, the owner, is a character! Hes a funny guy who has been working with glass, mirrors and screens since before I was born! I call them every time I do something stupid.
