This place was a real find. I go there once or twice a year to get elk, venison, and bison and also pheasant. The quality is excellent, the staff pleasant enough, but the prices high as they should be given the rarity and value of the items offered.

Lovely store. Locally owned and operated. The owner is fantastic. Some things are high priced, some are lower. I am able to find wonderdul, special items at affordable prices. Whatever Harold fox is talking about, dont listen to him. If I went into this store and ranted to the owner about how I can go somewhere else and pay less, well Id expect to be trated rude as well! However, normal people dont do this, the owner and establishment is wonderful. BUY LOCAL :)

I received a gift certificate for this company. I can not comment on the quality of their products. I picked out 3 cheeses and found that shipping to NJ for 3 lbs of cheese was $40.00 including handling. The owner I spoke to was ultimately rude and disrespectful blowing off my cost objections, suggestions and reasons for them. My wife uses a company for prepacked fresh dinner ingredients with recipes. This is perishable food such as meats and vegetables. $6.00 gets it to our door and free if the order is over $50.00. Ordering 3 lbs of cheese for $57.00 and a delivered price of $97.00 leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I was told my only choice was to purchase shelf stable items.

Its right next to Fleet Farm so I stop there for some goodies. They have elk, alligator, snake, mustards, bbq sauces, good cheese, etc.

Awesome place, excellent selection, wonderful proprietors!
