Love my new more, best decision ever made to buy a battery powered mower

I was impressed with the variety of things they got there. They had the screws I was looking for and couldnt find at the Home Depot.

Nice to have a smaller hardware store still around. Ace is a large chain, but in a small store setting. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Always offering to help when you step in the door. I try to shop here first before needing to visit a larger big box store if Ace doesnt have whats needed.

Inside the Market House grocery store in Hudson Michigan hides a Hungry Howies, a large grocery store with many items and many deals. Looming large is an Ace Hardware that is open until the grocery store closes. Better than stand alone hardware stores. The staff throughout the multi business building are awesome.

What a lovely little store! Its a smidge out of the way for me, but its a lot nicer than the impersonal big box stores. They had exactly what I needed, and they also had plenty of people that I could ask for assistance.

The staff was helpful from a technical standpoint. But they nor their customers practice social distancing and literally crowded me out of the store. I could not going anywhere close to the hardware I needed to look at without someone encroaching upon me

I really like this store and I want it to succeed. My first job was working in a mom & pop hardware franchise. One thing we quickly learned was to match the big box store hours and we would beat them on service & quality every time.Hudson Ace convenience and service are tops. Where they fail to beat the big box stores is so simple it’s stupid: Internet.I go into Hudson Ace and I want to research products or watch DIY/This Old House on YouTube. I can’t. Because the building is all steel. It’s like dropping your phone in a Faraday Cage. Home Depot, Lowe’s and Walmart all offer WiFi, I can look up any product there or see exactly what tool or piece I need for a project.

Very helpful and sincere staff. Bob in the paint department nailed it with my custom color. He was very patient and persistent in getting the color just right. My kitchen walls and cupboards look fabulous! I will definitely return to Ace Hardware for my future projects. Highly recommend!

Nice to go too a place that helps you

Bob at the paint desk was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I had tried to match a stain on a cabinet door six times, sanding after each and just couldn’t get a match. Bob picked out a gel-type off the shelf and tested it. Perfect match and out the door in 10 minutes. Worth the trip

In my opinion I would not get keys done here. I had a mail box key done here and it did not work. I went some where else and a Specific Key Blank needs to be used for the particular mail key I had. Please have your staff be come more knowledgeable on Key making.

The service is always kind and friendly, and they quite often have whatever it is I need to complete my projects. Unfortunately, being a small store, the prices are always higher than the bigger stores. However, its hard to beat the convenience and service, if this is closer to you than Home Depot or Lowes. Ive never been disappointed.

The guy in the back who makes keys is so cheerful and helpful, as are the guys who offer to help throughout the store. The cashier could use an attitude adjustment. Ill just assume she was having a bad day and used up all her patience on the customer ahead of me, who was having trouble figuring out how to use the credit card reader. Thats OK, I would rather she be kind to her, if she couldnt be patient with both of us.

Staff is friendly. Generally can always find what Im looking for here. They have almost anything you need for small projects and then some. Nice to have an ACE close by instead of having to drive to home depot or lowes all the time.

I drive by this place all the time but never went in until today. Very easy place to shop. Lots of people offered to help but not in a creepy Im stalking you obnoxious kind of way. In and out very quickly, much easier than the big box stores. Online ordering work great too. Great experience.

Great service. The woman who helped us in the paint department (Jody) was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. This is the kind of store I will return to often because it’s a family owned business with people who care about customer satisfaction. Totally opposite of the big box stores. Everyone here in every department is helpful, honest, and aims to serve costumers with a smile and genuine care.
