Love coming here. A great place to find a lot of bargains of a lot of brand names. Between candy, chips, detergent, hand soap, etc. I like this place better then the 99 cent store sometimes.

The store is okay and it has nice product its just not 99 cent they need to change the name.

Great deals. It is so hard to walk through and not spend at least forty bucks.

I do find some great things there but now they have higher prices. Everything is $1.69 so stuff adds up. The staff is a bit eh quiet. Ive been going there for years. If you take some time can find some cool crafting, gloves, art, notebooks, reading glasses, haircolor brush bowl items etc. Bonus next laundromat in case you need stuff or kill time.

This is where I get flowers for the cemetery. Always have a variety.

After returning to this store years later from moving to the other side of Houston, I was very disappointed with their prices, I purchased 12 items and paid $21.84 since now everything is 1.69 …please just change your name or make it KNOWN that your exact price is 1.69 per item!!

Good store, has a lot of items. Even though some products are over .99 cents.

What can I say? Everything is a dollar. I outfitted my entire room, shelving, lighting, extension cords, hangers, nic-naks galore and the coolest coffee mug Ive ever owned! Less than 50 bucks. The same at dollar general, big lots, or god forbid Walmart would have easily been 100s and up, probably over 200. It is so easy to find things that you cant buy *anywhere* for less than 5 or 10$ - yet it is ...... 1$. noooice!

Its not a 99cent store anymore, its more like 1.89 $ due to inflation

This Store is a Rip off, Maybe 1 thing cost 99cents, this just to be a king Dollar chain but greed comes, everything cost 1.49 +++ you have to be Careful when buy, because other items may cost more. Try to avoid to shop here, I dont recommend it.

Always has good stuff name brand and at 1.39 a piece its a great buy! I get my downy fabric softener, glade air freshener spray and plug ins, deoderant, soap, shampoo and conditioner. Good stuff and good price... I havent bought that stuff at any other store in years!

My wife realized that she did not get the items that she paid for that we needed for a trip. While unpacking she noticed the plastic waterproof cell phone cases she purchased was not in the box of items. She drove all the way back up to the store the next day because we needed the items and was met with a manager that was rude and didn’t even look for the items for my wife and asked argued with my wife about the 2 dollar items that she purchased. Mind you she spend 57 dollars in her purchase the day before...the manager after seeing my wife’s receipts told my wife to go back to her home and count her items again and then come back. If the owner of King Dollar is online and can see this post please let me know if this is the conduct that you want to support from your staff. This happened with the manager of your store on 6/6/2020 at about 1:30PM. I could spend ALL my money in here..... With that being said, everything is NOT 99cents.... Its the $1.39 plus tax for most things and some things are $4.99 cent store. So theres that. But, most of the items are worth buying and a little cheaper than other stores. I just really think the name is misleading.

Some great name brand body washes, they always have a great selection of sunglasses but most items are $1.39 and up not 99 cent as the name implies.

Great place to pickup a variety of quality low priced items from asprin to hardware to plates to toiletries..Friendly staff willing to engage customers inquiring about prices and locations within the store....old time service with a 2020 smile..

Can find some great deals here.. they get things that regular dollar stores dont get..

If you are looking for items not usually found in regular dollar stores this is the place to go. They have a wide variety of different items. Everything is $1.39 unless the price is marked differently which is not very often.

No longer a dollar store but it may have what you need at a great price. Very professional staff, Im always impressed how quickly they add more cashiers when it gets busy, this is something Krogers doesnt even do. I very much recommend them!

Went because it was recommended to my daughter for an event. Seemed ok but not sure if I would recommend this store. Also some staff did not speak or understand English language. This is the first time I have been there.

Lots of items, and good products with a large selection. Just not to keen right now buying products from overseas from a certain country.

Nothing over a $1.39 unless you want a hot monster $1.69 or a cold monster $1.99 but the name king 99 cent store is false advertising. What happened to that law, you advertise for 99c you have to sell for 99c. I dont shop here, I will not shop here. If I ever get the money and a lawyer, I might visit here. 😒😒😒😒😒😒. The staff is polite and friendly and they do have some merchandise. But I cannot and will not support these stores until I can trust the name. This used to be a country with enforced laws to protect the people. And when you read Nothing over 99 cents then nothing was over 99cents. Bait n switch by the corporate liar or the independent thief was not tolerated.

I love this damn store I come here for the most random things and they never disappoint if you find something that you like be sure to buy a lot of it because youre never guaranteed that youre going to get the same item the next time we go if its a holiday youre looking for cheap decorations this is definitely your spot at Christmas they have the greatest thing the little trees or even the same little trees at hobby lobby for around $20 and here they were a dollar twenty-five everything adds up quickly usually its pretty slow unless its the holidays goodbye be sure and check the store out there balloons are great girls words are great their candies great its a great little head and dollar store

This store is wonderful. It has so many things and good quality. The toys though no so much, but for kids who you will break things or are destructive you dont feel sad whenever you see its gone. They have all kind of tools and glassware kitchenware. They have hygiene products hair products and accessories. They also have some food but its mainly dry food and candy with and sodas. I absolutely love this place.

There are some great bargain deals on name brand items when they are able to get a hold of the inventory. However, know your bargain sense because sometimes things may be way expired or marked higher than what you can get at a local store that will offer fresher goods or newer products. Also, they have sign that indicates 99 cents but dont be fooled, everything is $1.25.

Good bargains! Your can find most of time same items in the regular grocery store at 99 cent store alot cheaper. This is a great place to shop.

I went in there to purchase a few items...... got to the cash register and felt like I was being disrespected....... skip talking in a foreign language instead of English...... at one point in time I thought you called me a provocative name......... when I asked a woman what did she call me she tried to play it off........ I would think it would be better business if everyone was on the same page. kind of hard to be on the same page when you cant even speak your nations language!!

You know I frequent the store every week for years and I have yet to see this store out of order they keep good employees and the employees keep that store straight as you walk the aisles looking for items everything its just straight I dont know how to explain it but I love this store .

Everything is not 99 cents everything starts at 1.39 and up. Overall it is a cutr lil store to get things most stores do not carry at all. The ladies are nice and courteous.

I tell ya, I can easily spend half my paycheck here. So many items that cover so many categories. A great place to go if you are into arts and crafts.

King 99cent store isn’t a 99 cent store you’ll think 17 items equals $17.00 right maybe at dollar tree but not here each item is actually $1.39 before tax they need to rename this place the king buck 50 store so my 17 items actually cost $25.58 which is still good but the sign is false advertisement so be aware of your shopping here on a strict budget.

Used to be a lot better with a greater selection of closeout goods. Also, some items are not that much of a bargain, now that they are not a true 99 cent store. However, I can still always find a few things when Im in the area.

I love this store. If you dont mind getting out dated Freebreze and other name brand home laundry and clean supplies. (Its not like youre eating it) They also have silk flowers, dog food, hard to find items, and spray paint. Cant beat it.

Kings 99 cent store is a very busy store because you find name brand items at less cost then in a regular store like Walmart etc.Their staff are very friendly. I enjoy shopping there. You might have to fight off the crowds but it is all worth the price.

I usually avoid dollar stores, but I dont mind shopping at this. Theyve got cheap decor, pet stuff, hair accessories and gift bags, etc. They have good variety, are pretty well organized and their goods are decent quality.

Nice and clean. As always some things you can find a bit cheaper in the regular stores, like the air fresheners. But have a variety of items.

This dollar store is awesome. Ocassionally i find great items for 1.25 that in other stores at over $4 or more. The other day i found a great universal remote for 1.25!!

Nice selection but careful to watch items marked .99cents on the labels; otherwise you may be charged the full $1.25.

Store was overwhelmed with merchandise, aisle seem narrow to navigate my cart. Overall, I found what I needed. Cashiers were quick to open up another register when a line formed.

I find some great deals here, I stop in periodically ro look and find some items, that I purchase from major stores but without major price tags. The items sometimes vary slightly, I paid .99 cents for this item. Normally $1.56 -1.99 depends where its purchased. Hey! even .50 cents, its a savings.

It is your typical 99 cent store. This is clean and tidy with a large selection of stuff. Lots of stuff. You can find a great number of inexpensive gift items here.

I love the selection of things they have there for cheap prices. The only thing I dont like is that everything is a different price. Like something is 99¢, 1.25, 1.15, and taxes are weird but sometimes its worth it.
