Im not from here but, I feel like this place is a hidden gem! I stumbled across in when searching for Filipino food on Google. I came in late so the full selection of dishes wasnt available. So I just took what was left. It was delicious! (was told to come in during lunch hours for better selection) If the food is selling out you know they must be doing something right! The staff was super friendly and helpful! Generous portions and good price! Will be back if I can! Side note: they take American express and other credit cards!
Such interesting flavors.Had a long day today and as I decided to walk home from the docs office it catches my eye. I came in, what 10 min til close and was still treated like i walked in midday. While the food was not the freshest since it was the EOS, you could still clearly taste a myriad of flavors that was very nice to the pallet. Will definitely be back at an earlier time and check out the purple cake I saw on the way out
The sinagan was delish!!! So friendly.
They have the best pork barbecue in the Houston area. Their Bicol Express is good too. 👌🏼

I was looking for calamansi limes and lunch. The food was delicious and the gentleman at the counter provide good insight in the next availability of calamansi. Will return soon!
I celebrated my birthday this evening in this fine place. I am glad to say that we passed a cool evening and the restaurant was certainly one of the reasons for the successful celebration. The team helped in a splendid manner, the cuisine was very good and my guests were so thrilled. We shall definitely visit again for more joyful events. thanks very much.

In search of good Filipino food? Longing for that home cooking style of Filipino food?Look no more, this restaurant has everything you crave and even more. Just be sure to get there early. The food selection is good, but goes fast. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who loves Filipino food or just want to try something new and different! Mabuhay!
Awesome food always brings me back home when my grandmother would make Filipino food thanks to ernest and staff
First time today and was a great experience. Great food and very good people. Feels just like home. Will definitely be coming back and refer our friends and families.
Ive been here since I was a little boy and it seems to bring a lot of cherished flavors to those who missed their hometown cooking in the Philippines. Aside from the food which is phenomenal in terms of savory, citrus, and sweet; they also have a mini grocery with snacks and cooking ingredients produced by the Philippines. The whole atmosphere is as if a close friend or relative has invited you into their home which may feel unusual if youre not familiar with the loose setting, but rest assured its just pure and natural affinity.
Food was very delicious and the catering was on time. Thank you!
Got a mouth full of fat grease and oil and not actual foodPancit and rice was good that’s about it
Food delicious and staffs courteous and helpful, prices are affordable. Absolutely recommend this place 👍😁
Friendly people great food and convenient little Filipino store
This isnt the same Sarap Pinoy I have been to since 2006. New owners barely have anything in stock. All the good stuff is gone. Entire store compacted to four shelves.Food: price says 8.00 for medium pancit. They charged my wife 10 dollars. Charged me 8 bucks and i got half a plate full of rice, 2 tiny sausages and a small pile of pork. Could have gone to the mall and paid that same price and gotten way more. This was a great place for Filipino products and treats. Sadly, no more. I will just drive to 99 Ranch, HMart or Viet Hoa going forward.
Smelled like cigarette smoke through out the store and was not very clean. I was there once and was not happy with their selection, then was in the area again and tried them once again - the store was still very dirty and they did not have hardly anything to select from. I was there about noon the first time then about 5p.m. the second time.
OK, maybe good?, by American taste.Need to get back earlier to get a better idea.It was too late in the day to get a proper sampling.
One word description for this place. Excellent. I had never enjoyed Filipino food before and the ladies here treated me like a king. I was able to try many different types of food and some amazing leche flan!
Very friendly and awesome food!
This place is amazing, the staff are friendly and wonderful people, I love their choice of music, the choice of food, everything is great! The chicken barbecue is out of this world, the best I’ve ever had!!!
Im a Filipino with a mom that cooks incredible Filipino food and this is as close to my moms cooking i have eaten. Come and taste, you wont be disappointed.
Dishes are affordable and delicious.
Super nice staff. Food is real good, best Filipino food in the area.
Great food. Friendly people. Big supporters of Military Veterans. Highly recommended.
I have only ordered lumpiang from here but it was great! 4 stars because I have only had the one item.
Sarap Pinoys BICOL EXPRESS is the BEST ive ever had in Houston! (Way better than the bicol express version of a popular Filipino restaurant chain that newly opened in Houston). I also love their DINUGUAN. My husband who is very picky with food, but has grown to love a few Filipino dishes, is a fan of their ADOBO, CALDERETA, AFRITADA and BBQ. I love how Sarap Pinoys food is reasonably priced and the amount of serving is good for about 2 meals. My husband and I always have sure lunch for the next day with the left over that we take home. No, we dont leave our left over, the food choice that we always get from them is too yummy to not bring home. They have grocery items available and balikbayan box delivery service, too. If I had more than enough money, I would invest in Sarap Pinoy, but for now, I am happy to be a regular customer.
Love the customer service and the specialty Asian items they carry.
