I read the news, I dont watch it (too sensational), and the newspapers I subscribe to, The NY Times, and The Washington Post, dont cover things as mundane and theft of car parts, so I had no clue that stealing catalytic converters was a thing, and even less of a clue that we own two of the hottest vehicles they target, one of which is our humble 2003 Honda Element. Well my gap in knowledge was righted quickly when my 16 year old called home to say his car was making this crazy loud noise. Turns out thieves had targeted his car in the school parking lot! I LOVE not being a slave to his extracurriculars anymore, and set about righting this situation ASAP. I called around getting crazy quotes ranging from 2K to 4K to replace the catalytic converter AND time estimates of two weeks to fix. I even went so far as to file an insurance claim before I reached out to Aces. The guy that answered the phone (didnt grab his name) reassured me it was an easy fix. Best of all it could likely be done in 30-45 MINUTES and cost less than $350.00!!!!!!! That is 10% of some of the quotes I was given and a quick turnaround! My son had been driving my car as my husband was out of town and his car was also on the top 5 list of targeted vehicles and so he was in no rush to have his car fixed, but I was desperate (I missed my cars amenities, LOL), so I drove there early this morning to try the repair. Sure enough, I was in and out in the promised time and for the promised amount. I have to return when the rear O2 sensor the thieves cut, and I had already ordered, comes in so they can attach it, but the car is completely road safe now and with the nice converter gone, thieves should leave the car alone. Lastly, he showed me the cover I bought to protect my hubbys vehicle--we shouldnt have this problem again.Lessons learned: support your local paper ;-D and sometimes fixing it yourself is cheaper than your deductible.

This place was amazing! When the dealership tried to rip me off and over charge me for my catalytic converter replacement, then tell me it was back ordered for over a month, the team here at Aces came to my rescue! They were able to fix me up at 1/3 the price of the dealership AND they were finished by the next day! I highly recommend this team at Aces, and they have earned a customer for life!

Went to get my ram 1500 worked on today and the wait time was a little longer than was stated....however...that was partially my fault for being indecisive...the quality and professionalism of the manager Robert who worked with me was excellent beyond measure. He patiently assisted me with options and was honest in my choice, in which I appreciated. I would definitely recommend you come here for any work done especially when needing exhaust work done!!! If I purchase another vehicle in the future, this will be my GO TO SHOP HANDS DOWN!!!!

DO Not TRUST this company! I went to Aces for a check engine light that my mechanic said was for the catalytic converter.When I went in and spoke to Robert he recommended that I replace the manifold without even checking out the car and quoted me a price over $900. He kept trying to convince me to buy a manifold and gave me 3 different prices. I left and told him I would let him know after I spoke to my daughter and after speaking to both my daughter and my mechanic I called Robert back and asked the price for just the converter. I went in and paid $411.00 and was not given a repair ticket showing what was done. He only gave me a receipt that printed from the credit card machine. The following day my car was making noises and I thought I could smell exhaust in the car. I went by my mechanic to check the car. He told me that a bracket was missing and the exhaust system was too loose. I was unable to take it back into Aces due to appointments I could not cancel and the freeze. I did call Robert to see about coming on a Saturday and wait on it because I had no other transportation. He said that Saturday’s he is too busy and I would have to wait a long time. So I told him that I would be there on Monday morning. On Monday I told him everything my mechanic said and he checked out. The first thing he said after checking it was I needed to replace the manifold. I told him that I did not believe him and that when I first brought my car in it was not making noises or had an exhaust smell in the car. I told him i was going to get it checked by someone else. He rudely said go ahead they are going to tell you the same thing. I did take it to another shop they showed me exactly what Aces did. Aces did not replace the catalytic converter at the manifold like they were supposed to, Aces replaced something else and the pipe was not correctly on what they did replace. This place put in the correct converter and did the repair (they did not replace the manifold). I do not recommend Aces and I will never go there again. I did file a complaint with the BBB.

I went in to have exhaust bolted up.... 4 bolts.. an O2 censor to be moved to another spot. Robert seemed irritated the whole time, his workers as well. I had a new catylic converter put on and headers day before from my mechanic. When mechanic was done, check engine light was off. No more cattylic converter code. We just didnt have correct bolts. So went to them, he got the bolts in. Moved 02 censor Im assuming.. an I have a check engine light on now.

I had exhaust work done on my charger it sounds amazing thanks to them very friendly and professional staff.

Well I came in to install a borla pro XS muffler on a 2018 tacoma. Didnt turned out to well after driving it for a while I could hear the drone! Had to come back and have the stock one replaced. Talked to Robert and he gave me some suggestions! Overall good management.

Back in July 2020 Someone cut my catalystic converter off my truck trying to steal it but couldnt do so. They gave me a reasonable price and they were so nice and kind. Well, someone did it again (old truck and original piece) and Im getting them to work on it again. So, I thank them so much for explaining things to me and being fair.

This guy fixed my catalytic converted after they were stolen. Quick and friendly. Reasonable price. And the work looks like it belongs on a hot rod rod or Ferrari.

Went to have them check to find leak in exhaust pipes. They checked. Said wiring problem. Took took it to Midas. They found leak. Thought they would be better of thats what they specialize in! Makes you wonder how many businesses actually know what they doing?

Robert was great.I had in mind to do delete the resonators to my Jeep to get more of a growler sound. He advised me well and was clear on wanting me to do something of value so I didn’t have to return and pay more later. So I deleted the suitcase muffler and installed an X pipe.Couldn’t be any happier. Just as he predicted no drone. Barely noticeable in the cabin. But deep and strong sound when I get on it.Excellent job Robert!!!

The work they did was to be expected, price was far. I work at a dealership and one thing you dont do is touch a customers settings, but yall had the audacity to change my saved settings in my memory seat function.

However, ACES took about 30 minutes to remove my old exhaust and install the new one.When I got home I looked over their work and I was very happy with my purchase.

I had some work done on my car and got warranty on the work. recently went back up there to get my tailpipe fixed because there was a rattle noise, about 20 minutes later the owner of the shop comes back and tells me the job is done without telling me what they did. before leaving i ask what they did and he said they welded the valve open which is not what i wanted done, i wanted it fixed not welded! after that he still charged me $20 for the weld even tho i had warranty. what shop doesn’t tell there customers what your gonna do to there car before they do it?! thats not how you run a business.

They even packed up the wrong exhaust to help me return it. One of the best, if not the best exhaust shop in North Houston/Humble Area. Great work done by these guys on my 2016 Mustang. Fair prices as well. There are taxes added to your quoted amount but its the regular 8.25% sales tax that is added. Same as any other shop. I had an x-pipe welded on and he even straightened out the mufflers that i had not noticed were installed slightly off center by the last shop. They pay attention to the small details and are very friendly. I recommend this place to anyone that asks me about an exhaust shop.
