The assistant manager was great! The crew was great! They did a great job and didn’t try to sell me on anything. Just told me the facts about everything they checked. My husband and I visited the Meineke location off 1960 in Humble, TX near Old McDonalds Farm. My husband brought in a coupon he purchased off of Groupon (for full synthetic and a tire rotation). We found for the hidden charges they have you save nothing! We might as well not have purchased the Groupon coupon for $39 because we still ended up paying $71 in extra charges out of pocket using it (totaling $110). Its also ironic, I went into the same location on Wednesday (7/27) of the same week and a quart of full synthetic oil was roughly $12 a quart and our visit Saturday (7/30) a quarter of the same synthetic oil had gone up to roughly $20. I was told it was because of the price of oil (which may be true 🤔). But you can get a 5 quart jug of high quality full synthetic oil for $30. You could use (which we will next time) a promo coupon off the net and pay less. I found the behavior of the lady at the front deskinappropriate. She was speaking with a Caucasian couple that came in and stated in conversation her mother had her father working like a slave. as she leisurely sat looking at TV on her cellphone...... as if she were a customer, which I see as unprofessional. There are better locations to take your business and you wont have to make an appointment.... because they only have one worker that I saw in the garage work both times I visited.
Awesome place to go for car repair. They did not try to update or misdirect me in any way. Solved the problem the first time at a very reasonable price. I will be back.
All reasonable prices definitely best place in town. Went here to get an oil change and tire rotation. Definitely will be returning for some breaks in a couple months as recommend it.
Going near 2 months dealing with them and they are refusing to fix the damage they have done to my car. The check engine light was on both times when we went to go pick up the car. Neither time did they bother to tell us, we had to go tell them the check engine light was on to which they tried to claim it was on when it came which is a lie. They are confused on what car they were looking at. They put the wrong converter on my vehicle and not only that, they cut up the piping for that converter and had to weld a new hole for the O2 sensor. You can see where they cut my pipe up and then added sections from another pipe. Ever since then the car has been complaining about the O2 sensors, we were given the excuse of the wiring harness, the told it was the computer and it would throw random codes every time its scanned which it hasnt. We got a second opinion on the converter and was told that it is a hi-flow racing converter. Why would you put a racing converter on a little v6 car that has never and will never see the track in its life. Ever since then, they car has been refusing to start on the first go, it makes noises like it grinding silverware in a garbage disposal, its dying on us while driving and we are being told these are all preexisting problems that the car was having before it was taken to them which is a bald-faced lie. Their head office is just as helpful as a wet noodle and today have decided to come to us with yet even more excuses on why our car is acting the way its acting. Now they are trying to blame the other converter when its not even throwing a code for the converter, its throwing codes for the O2 sensors they failed to replace. Its showing codes for the O2 sensors they failed to inform us needed to be replaced when you put a new converter. They failed to use the right converter and are trying to drop the responsibility of their failed mistakes on us and our car. They have hacked up my converters pipe. Every time its taken back to them, they make up some other excuse for why its doing what its doing and the excuses are never consistent based on who you are talking to. We recently took it back and they are blaming a part on our car that would have been fixed and replaced had they installed the right converter. I wouldnt recommend you bring your car here for anything repair related. They have ruined a very nice car and are trying to skirt the responsibility and dump said responsibility on us. They are refusing to fix it and refusing to refund us. I dont see how this shop is ASE certified when they are hacking up and destroying parts on peoples cars.

My husband and I showed up for an appointment for an oil change I purchased off Groupon. Upon arrival there was no one at the front desk, there were 2 women and a man in the shop so we waited for someone to come inside. One of the ladies started walking towards the front desk yelling obscenities but never came into the front desk, clearly seeing we were there waiting! So we left, cancelled our Groupon, and glad we did based on the other reviews!! I wouldn’t recommend nor will we be back!! Completely unprofessional
Bought my oil change off of Groupon . Set an appointment for one got there at twelve forty eight and was pulled in at exactly one . The under cover on my car was dragging . I asked the guy could he either take it off or reply it and I’d pay. He reapplied it free of charge and then explained to me why it’s important to keep it . My service date was 7/3/19 and i am very satisfied.

I purchased a oil change for 44.95 off of Groupon, it was a $8 charge for oil disposal but the lady told me that they would charge me $28 because the owner said so. She couldnt provide me with any paperwork that says that its a $28 charge. And threatened to keep my vehicle if it wasnt paid. I will never go there ever, if I would of known it was that much I would of never paid for an oil change from there.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! This is my second visit to this particular location, now my first visit the service was phenomenal! I went in with a Groupon for an oil change and inspection- they did it no problem and came back to me with a full report (an actual paper that detailed what they checked and if it was in the green) at that time I needed a new battery and he said my belt would need replacing very soon. I couldnt afford the belt at the time so we just fixed the battery. Now today we went back with the SAME Groupon, the mechanic this time was a different one than the first time. Wasnt at all friendly but honestly I can over look that. Im there to make my car safe for my 8 month old not make friends. My problem is when he came back he didnt offer us ANY information on my car just asked for payment. So I requested if there was any problems knowing the belt should need replacing according to the first mechanic we saw. He says No everything checked out good so my husband asked for the report and he replied why I said everything was good so I explained that last time we went they said our belt was bad and needed to be replaced so Im confused on how it magically got better. He then stammered a bunch and requested my keys back so they could put it back up and look at it. They hadnt even done the inspection when they said they had!!! I couldnt believe my ears. They were going to charge me for a service they didnt even do!! He came back and insisted the belt is fine, I however dont trust them. Considering they were also supposed to check my tire pressure. It listed on my bill but my low tire pressure light is still on. Never ever go here if you want to trust the car you are driving in is safe! I will be going elsewhere for a second opinion on my belt and if they say it is dangerous for them to have sent me on my way I will be coming back with a lawyer! You dont play around with peoples safety like that! So utterly disgusted in the way we were treated today. This was such a let down from my first visit and unfortunately a reason I will never be back. I have pictures of my bill saying they were supposed to check the tire pressure next to my low tire pressure light with the date visible if anyone actually bothers to contact me about this blatant lack of care.

For starters they don’t keep the hours they post, so I wasted a trip for nothing. When I was able to make it there during their actual hours it was still a wasted trip. The gentleman behind the counter was less than friendly when I entered. Like he was annoyed that I was there. When I asked how much it would be to install two mufflers I had, his attitude became even more chilly. He said Meineke did not install custom parts and then just glared at me. I said thank you and left. If they don’t want my money I’m not going to argue with them. It’s no wonder there was only one customer there.

Terrible service! My mom called the day before she actually came in to confirm that they would be able to do a service although the warranty was under a different Meineke location. The girl behind the desk said they could as long as she had a receipt but when my mom came the next day after already paying for a diagnostic, she said they couldn’t. She wasted my mom’s time knowing that they wouldn’t be able to do the service after all. That was the whole point of calling ahead of time.Also, my mom had called after she left to pick up a copy of the diagnostic (since she forgot while there) and the girl behind the desk said she’d have it ready before they closed and whenever she arrived she didn’t have it ready!I do not recommend going to this location! Do not waste your time. They obviously don’t care if they waste yours.

I had recently had my car inspected at another car care place and after they charged me $150 to drive it they told me everything was fine. I knew in my gut it just didnt sound right. I contacted Kenny and they worked with my schedule to get me in right away. Upon arrival, I explained my concerns to Kallie and she took the time to walk me into the shop and explain to me in details that I could understand the problems my car was having and how it could be fixed. They fixed my car WITHIN AN HOUR! I immediately noticed a difference in how my car drives and know it is much safer for my family. I was so pleased with the service and the honesty. I will definitely be back!

I had been having trouble getting my car through emissions. Thought i could handle all the small stuff myself and save some money. Weeks turned into months, spent money changing out this that and everything else. Finally gave in and stopped at Meineke on 1960E in Humble. They are great. They take the time to talk with you, diagnose the problems, listen to what your saying and come up with a plan. They started with the least expensive option, cleared the codes, then drive it, clear the codes next option, so on and so forth. We finally have the car running with no engine light on. Finally time for inspection. Kenny and his team have done an awesome job and I have a new go to place for my car. A side note, prayers to shop manager Lee and his family. 5+ stars to this team.
Great bunch of guys here. I had the mid section muffler delete ECS X pipe installed on my 2013 Audi RS5. Mike installed it and was a wealth of information and knowledge. He put up with a curious engineer asking questions. Turns out hes been building exhaust systems for over 30 years. The owner was great as well and checked me in efficiently and got the car on the ramp immediately. Cannot recommend them enough - they understood that my vehicle is my prized possession ( dont tell the Mrs ) and looked after me and it from start to finish. All the best, British Mark :)
Groupon shouldn’t do business with this place and they should go out of business. I waited 10 minutes in the lobby without being helped. No one was even inside. I had to knock on the window leading to the service bay. Then they tried to up sell me full synthetic 3 times after I said I didn’t want it. THEN tried to charge me almost 20 bucks for an extra quart of oil. I went to Take 5 and got a synthetic blend for 37 bucks instead. This place needs to close down before they get sued

Came in off a $14.95 oil change groupon, yet its a pure and simple bate and switch. The owner tries to come off as thorough but its all apart of his sale. Even with saying no to everything, I still had to pay $20 more dollars for some $8 mystery fee and $11 for another quart of oil. So basically I paid $35 for a regular oil change, there was no special.Lastly, I just had my state inspection yesterday and passed easily. This guy then tries to tell me that I need new wipers even though they just passed less than 24 hours earlier. Plus not to mention my brake pads were said to be near replacement even though my previous trusted mechanic told me I had 60,000 miles left and that was about 5K miles ago.Not to be trusted. I actually feel sorry for the owner.And all his 5 star reviews come from him buying reviews with a $5 discount if you leave a review.
The manager Kallista and the technician went above and beyond to help me with my truck and to steer me in what to do to resolve my situation. I will return again. This is what I call customer service not customer advantage when all others places was about price before assistance I understand business but sometimes under certain circumstances it would be nice get desperate help. No mask on receptionist or customers . Receptionist was wrapped in a blanket. Oil change service tires were rotated without the air being checked in the tires. Tire light message is on! Service took 2 hours 15 minutes I was there when they opened only one other person ahead of me.

The lady mechanic is rude. She was on the phone during my transaction. I had a groupon so she basically up-charged for everything and didnt give me the full service for my groupon. Also she recommended that I not get my tires rotated because my car alignment could be off and shake! WHAT? They also forgot to put the oil change sticker in my vehicle. Lastly, when getting the engine light codes she or the gentlemen working couldnt give me details to explain what the codes meant. DONT WASTE TIME OR MONEY!
Unfortunately I feel like I got screwed over.I had an original problem. They said it was a torque and transmission. They Charged me $5419.05. And then the problem was STILL HAPPENING after only driving three miles.I need my refund.
I came to this location for an oil change and was told they were completely booked for that day so I made an appointment for the following day. When I arrive to my appointment the girl behind the counter at get surprised to see me. She immediately started telling me I needed special parts which would highly increase the amount of money I needed to pay. The next customers that came in after me had similar issues which would result in them paying a higher amount of money as well. I like so many others had a Groupon and was told I purchased the wrong one and need to purchase a special filter and special oil for my car. Ive had my oil change mini of places that have never came across this issue. They tried to charge me an additional $50 over what I paid for my Groupon.
I enjoyed the prompt and attentiveness to my needs knowing that I always have my 4 children with me. I dropped it off and waited back at work until I received the call to pick it back up. There were no hidden charges since they were very upfront with any additional cost before the work began. I would recommend this location to anyone looking to have great customer service.
I gave this place 1 star because of the fact that they didnt charge me to tell me what was wrong with my truck, but they did tell me I needed a new radiator and wanted to charge me $800. I went to my usual mechanic and he said he can do it for $400. The guy that helped us was really nice until I told him I wasnt getting it fixed there for that price, then he got an attitude. I will never go back to this place. Save your money. These people will price gouge you big time.UPDATE: After bringing my truck to another mechanic, come to find out nothing was wrong with my radiator at all. The mechanic informed me that apparently water was poured on to my radiator hoses to make it look like my radiator was leaking. Thank God I went and got a second opinion! Do not go here!!! They will try to scam you! I will be calling and reporting this shop!
First time at this location and Lee was great and friendly.i was in and out in about 20-30 mins. I forgot the name of the person that did my oil change but he was quick and great as well. Lee explained what I was going to need extra (1 extra quart) as well as notified me about the disposal fee. I had included a tire rotation but did not get it after I was informed of a possible extra charge to balance if it was going to be done. He also explained what would happen of I did the tire rotation without the balance. I appreciated the honesty and i would come back again.

This past Saturday I wanted the advertised $19.99 oil change. They refused to give me that stating my car’s manufacturer required a half-synthetic blend. Funny how I’ve had the car since it was new in 2011 and I’ve always used conventional 10w30 oil. Never has anyone recommended a synthetic blend. In fact I believe this same location did an oil change for me a year or so ago using conventional oil. I went ahead and have the service done along with a state inspection. But I won’t be going back.**Edit - I forgot to mention that they were going to fail my state inspection because I needed new wiper blades. So, I purchased the blades from them. Almost $40-freaking dollars. For wiper blades! I understand mark up, but I can get wiper blades at any parts store for less than $10 each. RIDICULOUS!!
Took my car for the groupon oil change and they broke my car handle door and didnt want to fix it at first. We had to buy the part ($45.00 part) and they put it on. They did the tire rotation and strip my screw to hold the hub cap in place. They kept my tire caps that I personally bought custom and put on cheap ones. I highly suggest to save your money and time because my appointment was at 10am and just got out of there at 2pm from all the screw ups they did. If I could give them a zero I would!BEWARE, DONT GO THERE! Stay away from this thiefs

I purchased a Groupon and thought I caught a good deal for an oil change. I showed up without an appointment and was asked to return in an hour and can have my oil changed. Upon returning, I was asked to schedule an appointment Monday instead because all bays were full. Ok-The issue here is that an appointment could’ve been scheduled instead of having me drive from the other side of town, then wasting an additional hour of my day to return and have to drive back home. No issues for a refund on Groupon. I strongly advise to go elsewhere as I do not trust their timeliness or professionalism.
I purchased a Groupon for a synthetic oil change and tire rotation. I called and made an appointment with a woman named Cali who was very friendly and said that their were plenty of times available on the day I requested so I chose to book it for 1PM on a Thursday. The following week I arrive on time to my appointment and the man says sorry all my stations are full and no one is leaving for another 2-3 hours my next available appointment is Monday. We had a lot of complicated cases that came in this morning. I said that’s odd because I booked an appointment with Cali a week ago. He just responded oh sorry we’ve been trying to call everyone and let them know that we won’t have anything available till Monday. At that point I also realised Cali didn’t even bother to take my name, phone number or make and model of my vehicle for my appointment so they couldn’t have even called me. Its very unprofessional to not bother booking appointments properly and also to disregard any appointments for walk ins. Disappointing experience and I would not recommend meineke in the future.

You have to tell them exactly whats going on. If you tell half of your car issues and expect them to figure it out the other problems outs thats not going to happened captain.. before they start working on your vehicle make sure their going to fix all your concerns
Lady on phone got attitude with me when I refused to do diagnostic on a serpentine belt that broke. The only reason I was gonna have them chage belt was because I didnt have my tools with me or ride to get parts. Didnt want to pay massive tow bill to get towed 40 miles home. While I was waiting hour for tow truck to get there and take it few miles away to the I checked all pullies and tensioner all was good no problem. So I already knew it was just belt but I was told it couldnt be just the belt. Would have paid the extra to just get belt changed but I aint paying for them to fix things that dont even have problem.

This place is a scam. They said it was free to diagnose my Chevy suburban. Then when I went they put a $140 bill on me and they dont have the right equipment to diagnose. They told me themselves they used an average scanner and Google and Facebook dicussion groups. Save your money the owner and his daughter are scam artists. I called twice before I brought my car in and they told me twice that it was free to diagnose. Its sad how they take advantage of people like that.

This place is a scam. First time EVER walking into a Meineke and was looking to get a muffler put on my car. After a ridiculous quote of $600 to run one pipe, I decided to go to Aces Exhaust Performance where I paid less than half what I was quoted at Meineke. First and Last time customer. Will not be returning.
Had an appointment set for 11am when I arrived was informed they were running a little behind schedule. My car wasn’t taking in until 1:40ish and finished within 30mins.
I bought a Groupon for an oil change and in details of the Groupon it tells you that there’s an $8 disposal fee, but when I got there I was told that in addition to the Groupon that I would have to pay $34. I was charge for an additional quart of oil and an air filter (which the Groupon said that the air filter was included in the price). The service was ok, but I why sell Groupons when you’re going to charge customers the price of an oil change anyway with all the additional charges.
Paid $75 for an oil change, was told if I didn’t buy a $18.98 little part that I couldn’t get my oil changed. Once everything was complete I noticed that my gas gauge kept fluctuating and now my car is burning gas faster than normal. Will not be returning.

I had a problem that nobody could figure out and where I had taken seemed like they didnt even want me there when I came back without it being fixed!!!!!!! I called Lee and he said he had a master technician there that can fix anything so I took it in. Lee Timmy and Gino were the nicest people ever they figured out my car and fixed it in just a few hours and even gave me a warranty!!!!!!!! I suggest everyone try this place they are reasonably priced especially for their experience. I love this place and will DEFINITELY be coming back.

My face and lied he to me into another muffler and it was way worse never go there and why I was ther this young lady thay charged her 700 for to hoses and thermostat dont go there.

Be where of This place, I went to Meinicke on 3/14/20 To get my front and back brakes done. I happen to be the last person they finished with before they closed for the day. I paid my bill and the lady with the blonde hair gave Me my keys and I went to my car and open the door to notice that the things that I on the backseat Of my car was moved around and my Ziploc bag of silver that I had maybe 25 or $30 dollars worth of silver was missing out my car Long story short when an employee came out the door I asked him why was the things that I had in the backseat of my car shuffled around and where was my big bag of silver missing he called the owner of Meineke on his cellphone and told him what happened and then he said the owner told him that he would look at the surveillance tape tomorrow I told him to tell the owner that I’m going to file a police report if I don’t give my ziploc bag of silver back the guy told the person who was on the phone what I say then he went back Inside Meineke and came out with my big bag of silver and gave It back to me the he made a dumb excuse why the blonde headed woman took it out in the first place didn’t make sense to me So I will not be going back to this place ever again in life and I called Meineke corporate office and filed a complaint

I have used this location on numerous occasions and never receive anything short of great customer service. Lee the manager and Kenny the owner are very stand up guys, never trying to over sell you on anything like a lot of other shops do! Worst place ever...they charge me $81.00 for full synthetic oil change which come with 23 inspection points check which they completely fail to check them the proof is they didnt even check tire pressure,the package come with tire rotation they didnt want to that and when told them they took my car back and hide my tire lock key and said I dont have the and they will $14.95 per tire to balance if they do rotation....just a horrible experience..I paid $59.95 for injection cleaning, guess what they just put cheap injection cleaning agent in tank...all lies and rip off....I recommend not going to this place if you want money and save your items in your vehicle...hate them...
