On my way to dinner my battery light turned red. I called Chauncy at Big O Tires at 5:45 pm and he replaced my bad battery. Excellent service! Thank you Big O Crew!

First time customer and was welcomed like family. Made an appointment online to skip the hassle of waiting and was in and out within the hour. Chauncey and Victor are stellar guys! If they dont have a tire in their store, they will go and pick it up at their other location. Will definitely return should I have any tire issues in the future.

Fast & friendly. Helped me out in a bind after my tire light was on & Toyota of HB told me they would charge me $150 to diagnose. Big O checked it out & it turned out to be a nail & a patch job only. They serviced my car at a quarter till closing & had me out of there in under 15 min. Victor really took care of us! Thanks!

I stopped in here thinking I had a nail stuck in my tire, it looked repairable so I brought it in. Once they got it into the shop they realized it was just something jammed in the tread.. they could have charged me for time or, said they repaired it. However, they explained it to me and let me know I was good to go with no charge. Its easy to take advantage of people so I really respect their honesty and I will be back.

I never left a review here previously because the staff is kind, but considering its been months and our car is still having problems I figured I would. My husband and I took our Chevy Cruze here for a simple oil change. There were no issues with this car before handing it over to them. They returned our car back with major issues that left me stranded on the side of the road not even a day after. After $2000+ in car repairs from an actual dealership we are still having issues. Our car has never been the same since. Do not take your car here!

I have been to this Big O location a handful of time over the years and feel like I have to give them a review after today. I was over-hearing Josh (the manager, I believe) talk to a customer that was just in front of me. He was informing the customer of his options for whatever service was going to be preformed. I noticed that there was no pressure to make the customer do anything he didnt want to do, no up selling, just the necessary information the customer needed. I feel like this every time I go in this shop. I feel like I am given options and all the information is straight forward and honest.I used to bring my vehicle here just for tires but now I bring mine and my wifes car in for oil changes and anything else that may be needed.I also like that when I bring my vehicle in for a service, and I am given a quote and the price is the same as the quote when I pick my vehicle up. I understand that sometime there are things that cannot be predicted when a quote is given, but some places will have a special price on an oil change and then when you go to pick up you vehicle they have an outrageous price for all the extras that they couldnt see during the quote of the special price. This place doesnt do that.Overall, I am very very happy with the service, price, timeliness, and customer service received every time I have been in this shop for the last few years.I just wanted to mention Chris C. for his great customer service. Also, there is one specific mechanic, I cant remember his name, who has always given me great recommendations for ways to handle odd (lots of rust on my 97 Jeep) situations with my vehicle.

My 16 yr sons alternator went out on a Sunday it was towed to BigO based on driver recommendation. A 2008 Jeep Grand Cher we had just purchased from a 3rd party. It needed tires, therefore agreeable to taking it there, although I was shocked they did auto repairs. I specifically asked the manager to do a thorough check of the car especially the oil, since it was new to us. He told me in addition to the alternator, we needed a light fixed and windshield wiper, oil was in great shape. After spending $1200, 3 weeks later the engine blew because there wasnt any oil. I took it up to the district manager; said he investigated, the mechanic had changed the oil and they cant tell if another problem with the car. We HAD NO OIL leaks. Told we would have to subpoena the records. LYING CRIMINALS!! Cost another $4,000 for new engine. Will NEVER recommend BIGO Tires

Called ahead let them know Id bring my car in for an oil change and due to unforeseen circumstances they couldnt accommodate me. They did say they could have me come in today but I was unavailable

Ive started to go to this place exclusively for my tire/suspension work. Their prices are the best around, and the work is good. They get super busy, so expect to leave your car for a while or make an appointment. Nothing but praise for these guys.

My HHR lost power and luckily I was across the street from these guys. I was hesitant to call because either didnt t want to be ripped off. But George and one of the Mechanics came through and my car has never ran better. It wasnt cheap but I wasnt bad either and the most important thing is my car runs great. Its a business, people have to make money and I respect honest hard working mechanics. Ill be back soon for some tires.

Wanted to fix a flat, they said you need new tires.They wouldnt fix it and I ended up putting the spare on side street. Stay away. Update: Got my tire fixed the following day at Just tires in Westminster for $25 and no new tires were involved. Now, I do understand that I showed up 30 minutes before closing on a Saturday but this does not justify refusing a payed service especially when I called before showing up and the place was empty

I came out of work at the end of a long day, and what do I see in my tire? A big, rusty nail. Not what I needed. It was lodged in my tire at a funny angle, and I could not tell if it had punctured the tire or was just stuck in the tread. At any rate, it would not come loose when I gave it a small tug. I was not about to yank the thing out and then watch my tire flatten.So I called the pros. They told me to bring it in right away, that they would check it out ASAP. I got to the shop within 15 minutes and they took a look. The nail had come out by the time I reached the shop but they still checked out the entire tire for me. They tested to make sure there were no punctures and did a great job. They also noticed that one of my pressure sensors was off, and attempted to reset the system for me.Awesome job guys, will definitely be back!

I special ordered 4 tires - 225/55/18 and arrived at the store this morning to leave my car there to have them fitted. Arrived at the store and there was no parking (except the special needs spot). I double parked my car and at the same time, a guy arrived in his truck, parked half in the special needs parking and went inside. I went in behind him and was then ignored by the Big O Staff the whole time. Then the guy behind the counter left with the I need 1 tire for my truck guy, still ignoring my existence. Next some arrogant guy from the shop comes in and says, is that your truck? I replied no, to which he responded, what about the car behind it?. I said yes to which he replied, Can you park it behind the white truck? At that point, I just knew this was a big mistake. What happened to, Good Morning, I will be with you as soon as I have done with this customer? or Good Morning, would you please park your car .... Good News is that I phoned Walmart Auto Center, they have the tires I need in stock and I am taking my car there to have the 4 tires replaced. Well Done Big O Tires Hunting Beach on being the biggest disappointment in terms of Service, rudeness and the rest. Looks like that when the boss is away the staff dont give a ............

Wish i could give 6 stars. Arrived Sunday at 330 . The only tire place open on sunday. They close at 4. The manager on duty stayed over 3 hours late to fix a massive nail in my tire. Had my car ready later that night. These guys were super busy but still managed to take care of me. Will be recommending these guys to everybody. Super polite throughout the entire process and gave me options for my tires. Top caliber guys here. Keep up the awesome work! After everything they said since it was just a tire plug they fixed my tire for free!! These guys are the best super polite professional and well informed. Will be taking all of my cars in my family cars here in the future for any tire issues. Cant thank you guys enough!! 😁

Im also a fairly new resident in this area. Big O Tires had recently put 4 new tires, shocks & struts on my car so I returned 3 weeks later to see if they could find out what the noise was in my car. They diagnosed it quickly, ordered the parts and fixed the problem. (tail gate hood shocks)Tony is a fine young man with management qualities. I originally had my car someplace else and they screwed up my lug-nuts.I called BigO on Beach BLVD and Josh went above and beyond to make sure I had 4 tires all my lug-nuts as well as checking the car for other possible issues. I was at Big O on 9/30 to have a nail removed. These guys are awesome, they’re honest and the customer service was excellent. From the mechanic Ian, to Garcia & Josh in the office I was pleasantly surprised when I went to pay my bill Josh asked me if I had bought the tires there. Even though I had not I was not charged anything. If you want a honest place to bring your car look no further.

I went in with a low tire, I had an emergency in my family and was traveling up to Montana. Josh squeezed me in, they fixed my tire. I was able to get on the road with in 30 minutes. Everyone here is very happy to help and get you back rolling on the road. I will be having a new set of tires put on before the end of the month. I dont buy my tires for my car anywhere else. Always a good experience with Josh the manager, and his team!!!!

I have to tell you, Ive never had such a great experience replacing a tire. I was in a huge bind -- I needed a tire for a rental vehicle by 8 am the next morning so that I could catch a flight home.I called right before closing, met with George and he not only put aside the one tire I needed, he pre-filled the paperwork and allowed me to drop the car after hours. Despite my pestering, everyone at the shop did all they could to make sure my tire was fitted and I made my flight.They did and I made it, thanks to Big-O-Tires.I couldnt say more about them, they were a blessing. Highly recommended would be an understatement.

I was pleasantly surprised how i felt when leaving the store with new 2 Tires and front breaks.As we all know spending money on tires and breaks is not something we love to do especially when we know nothing about them (to an extend).Josh took care of what was needed....and believe me I am the first to look for a used car salesman handling.I ended up with having to buy only 2 tires and front breaks...very professional and even got me an uber home as i did not want to sit for and hr or so. Big O Tires Huntington Beach smiles sweetly while picking your pocket. Josh quoted one labor rate over the phone then increased that rate by 15% when I reached Big O Huntington Beach. Same car, same belt we discussed but higher rate. This unethical modus operandi is commonplace at Big O locations in California, as they pretend to care about customers but instead are committed to squeezing every dollar they can get out of them.

Excellent store. Dropped in with a damaged tire. Very helpful and amazingly fast getting me back on the road with a new tire. Friendly staff.

My daughter took my car in for me, so I cannot answer all of your questions; however, her appointment was at 2:00 and she did not get out of there until almost 4. She sat and sat, and no one told her she could leave and come back, because they were behind. Terrible! Then, your team recommended things I do not need, and charged more than my coupon noted. No other place has ever done that! Finally, they apparently left the hood partly open, and we didnt discover it until yesterday, which was a few days later! Thank goodness, a friend noticed it. I will never return!

These guys are great! I had two flat tires out of the blue and it was almost 6pm. They were nice enough to have me come there even though they were almost closed. They fixed the tires fast and at a great price! I will be back! Thank you!

My tire was not delivered. Went to a different store. They were very apologetic for the error.

Had a flat tire, bought tires from Tire Rack for installation by Big O Tires. I had to remove the wheels and tires from my vehicle and drop them off because I had a flat. When I came back to pick them up, I had to wait because they were not ready as promised even though it should have been an easier job since it was only tire mounting and balancing. I hope it was not because it was just an install job of tires bought from the Tire Rack. I will give them the benefit of doubt and rate them a 4 star this time.

Was seen immediately, tire removed, repaired and back-on in 25-30 minutes. Both the front desk gentleman and tire guy...nice, friendly and helpful. I was smiling when I walked out and my wallet was still full! Thank you Big O Tires!

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Guys are rude and act like they know everything. Then they break things so they can over charge you and act like it wasnt their fault. Trust me dont waste your time and save yourself the headache. Go to Americas Tire where youll be treated fairly and with respect.

I asked a check on my wheel alignment that was done 6 months ago. The technician told me that my alternator was shot because the battery warning light remained on with engine running. I said no warning light was on when I drove here. I asked for a further check for certain. The technician checked out the alternator with a meter and printed the measurement out to me. The manager looked and gave me an estimate of more than $500 to fix it. He repeatedly insisted that I fix it there otherwise the engine would stop before arriving home and need a tow. I felt the price was too high and wondered the timing of the occurrence. I arrived home (about a mile away) and hooked a charger to the battery. When I looked the alternator and was shocked to see that the alternator belt was gone only some shred remained. When the technician hooked a meter to the alternator, he must saw the alternator belt was missing and he still measured the alternator output and claimed the alternator was bad. Without the belt there certainly no output. I started to suspect that the belt was purposely damaged. However I trusted them too much at I did not see the act. I got it fixed including the fan, that was damaged by the flying belt, under half of their estimate. The alternator is perfect and there is no need to replace.The manager told me that one of the lights on the cars tail end was out. I checked the lights a few days later and determined no light was out.

I dropped my truck off to get the tire repaired and the manager was very helpful and they offered to take my family and I by shuttle to where we needed to go. The driver Alex was very helpful and dropped us off right at the beach. I was told I would get a call when my car was finished but didn’t. What really got me was when I called to see if my truck was finished the employee who answered the phone said they would send the shuttle to pick my family and I up. We packed up our stuff from the beach and headed to the parking lot to be picked up. After 40 min passed I called back to find out no one was told to pick us up. They sent a car after we had waited for an hour. When I went to pay the manager didn’t apologize and that’s really all I wanted. He instead blamed the employee who forgot to relay the message. Pretty disappointed.

Bravo! I had a terrible experience at the Big O Tires in Long Beach on PCH. Im not going to go into detail about that blunder since this specific location did such a wonderful job. Ken Schneider, the District Manager, was a class act handling something that went wrong at the other location. He was attentive, listened, and made me feel like the issue could have been handled better. It was textbook customer service. He provided a human aspect to things when he simply asked, how was your Christmas?. Its simple things like that, that make a difference. I will continue visiting Big O Tires because of Ken and his team at the HB location.

Dude who worked on my car cool.. but another employee pulled another customers car right up on the right on my car with 18 inches of room and then starts working on this persons car just as the mechanic working on my car is trying to finish up. I witnessed it first hand, when Josh went above and beyond in helping customers with their needs and concerns of their cars when I was there. He is definitely knowledgeable, thorough, and efficient at his work. As I have had bad experiences with other companies (Pepboys, American Tire) that will just sell you there service and product; and was unsatisfied with time that is wasted. Josh has an great customer service, as it reflects to all of his employees. I trust them in working on my both of my trucks. As I am going to highly recommend them to all of my friends and family... So I called today at 330 said the same thing. I never before in almost 5 years of going there did this ever happen. I use to drop it off and in 30 min be driving off. I guess thats what happens when you have poor management. Sure or I guess Ill go down the road and get an oil change by someone else in 15 mins...thanks.

Poor management, lousy customer service interaction, no evidence of fixing anything in your vehicle. To this day everything they said they fixed was not fixed or parts they claimed to replace was never replaced. I have proof and pictures from other mechanics repairing the work they claimed they did. They had me schedule an appointment only to refuse me service after I got there. Employees who work there don’t have any direction once the manager-Josh- is not on site.In all just about ruin a good running Jeep that never had any real problems.And yes, it took them 3 days to figure out how to start a Jeep.Could not replace a serpentine belt on a Jeep, the one they replaced on my snapped after 24 hours and then they charged me againStay away from smiling faces, they will screw you in the end .(Especially after taking almost 5000 in repairs)

Unbelievably uncooperative or unhelpful after purchasing over $1,400 in tires. unwilling to honor warranty on any vehicles that I purchased the tires from this establishment. Talk directly with the district manager, Ken Schneider and he hangs up the phone and refuses to honor warranty. Avoid this and all Big O Tires at all costs.

Not quite sure if I can trust them. They have done a lot of work for me, but sometimes they will say something needs to be done and I take it somewhere else and find out I dont need what Big O tires said I needed.
