They dont have plastic bags and are offering boxes from the pit area. Thats disgusting. Be aware bring your bags and the store director doesnt have sign in front of the store.

If there is something that is store lacks is customer service. The “customer service” office had a person working on Sunday night 10/10/2021 that was rude and dismissive. Advertised hours clearly display a closing time of 8 PM but instead they shutdown about an hour earlier. When you ask for the manager on duty (Jose), a worker mentioned he was out to lunch and “didn’t want to be bother.” They asked for me to return three days later and ask for the store manager.The staff has no knowledge of the next point of escalation such as a regional manager or contact information to their corporate office.Clearly local management and its staff need more training to provide a better customer service experience.

I always find what I need decent prices and selection, however they need to enforce the express line limit.... There always someone with A LOT more than 15 items..... When I have asked before why they allow them to use it if they have more than 15 they said they will get mad if they tell them something seriously???? What about everyone with 15, 10, 5 or even 3 items waiting???? I hope they start enforcing the number of items....Besides that I like this place and recommend it.

First of all they have lowest grade meats and the cheapest fruit. Its amazing how the latino shop their so much for cheaper product. Ill shop elsewhere bit there

This Superior store is my favorite because it gets less packed with people compared to other locations! Only downside is there is an In and out burgers in same parking lot that causes long car lines that can block in some parked cars!

Good grocery store. Budget pricing. Has a Wells Fargo Bank inside. Plus a loan office, Oportun. Super long lines for the customer service section, 99¢ money orders. And bank line super long too... But overall a good place to shop and get multiple things done. Also have a Coinstar machine, Rugdoctor rental, Lottery tickets, Redbox Movie Rental.

I really cant rate Superior, I didnt shop there. I went to the Wells Fargo inside.

Superior has gone down so much . So expensive as well and lot of old product on shelf.I recommend Food4less for the Hispanic community. They have a lot better deals and dont have to purchase two items for the deal of one unlike here at Superior .

Was looking for Wells Fargo Bank and it is inside Superior Market, they should have a Wells Fargo sign outside, for we can actually know that its in there. I went inside to make a purchase and get cash back since I couldnt find the bank 😁. And there it was as soon as we entered 😅.

I would give a half of 🌟 if I could. Today we got some chicken legs, its rotten and smells really nasty. We wanted to make a chicken soup, but just wasted time and money. I dont recommend this grocery store 😒.

Superior Grocers store in HuntingtonPark didnt have no plastic bags to put groceries in bag, why?

Horrible cashier went 3 time to get the price of an item that took 5 minutes extra amazing no many registers open for the amount of people on line it is a shame always same thing 😕 you go grab 2 items and it takes 10 minutes to pay for them at the express lane

I went in and got exactly what I needed. There was only two registers open but it did not take long nor was it busy at the hour I went.

After having been personally insulted by a person who work there, I have not returned in the years. I spoke to the manager and he could have care less about what his employee did. He was just as bad as the employee. Im a senior citizen and was spoken to as if I was a piece of dirt, and these people dont deserve the jobs they have. Since then I have always shopped at food 4 less.

Security is great. Im not at all surprised that the maintenance females havent taken over there post. With maintenance personnel like SUPERIOR has they should promote them to in-house security. These ladies really WOW me they look at disabled customers like myself as if Im STEALING on account of my nerve/body movement (nervopathy) oh & dont walk in with a service animal from Mngmt. to Cashiers they dont have any EDUCATION /ENLITEMENT between DOG vs S E R V I C E D O G becarefull GUNNE SQUAD will be questioning!!

This place has terrible management I got there at 9:46 and they said it was closed they should change the hours of there store so I dont waste my time going down there I would have went to food for less where they dont close their doors 15 minutes early these people just want to hurry home all Im saying if youre going to close at 9:45 fine change the hours on your doors and let the people know dont wate their time

The meat and perishables are not kept in safe cooling conditions. The bacon was old and the chicken and fish looked really bad. I was also here a few weeks ago and the catfish had yellow slime all over it... They need to train their employees on proper food handling. The rest of the store was pretty cool. Theres a big variety of things I like, but its a lot more expensive here then El super. Ill probably only go here for the extra stuff I like. Will not be buying anymore meat from here.

Superior Grocers was great but now there is a serious problem with in and out restaurant drive throw lines they are super long cars do not allow traffic through and block entrance to parking spots.

I shop here all the time, its a good place to buy mainly Mexican products but you can find other products like Asian and Latin products. As for the long lines it depends on what day and time you go. Also keep in mind that In-N-Out is located in the same parking lot so sometimes it gets full typically only on weekends though.

Superior service, very good quality meat, they make their own chorizo, I highly recommend it. The also offer cooked food, tacos, birria, menudo yummy.

Market is a market for the community and supplies us with the groceries but they make you feel welcome like youre part of the family and theyre part of the family because everybody knows everybody upon entry or security guard with a great smile and shake cab and your people behind the stand making the donuts and the cakes and Ill bring the coffee with great big smiles and your loaders to do in the box well and they have point of entry with the customers still with a big smile and a greeting and talk to me about their things and you talk about there and you find yourself not only finding groceries but you have friends in common and needs and wants and the same thing of common ground you walked out there with a big smile with the old-fashioned way customer is always right

Pretty clean place love the fact it has a public bathroom because I have two kids that always have to travel with me and sometimes potty time hits! Also love that for the most part there is always more than 4 lane ls open and even when they are crowded they are pretty fast. Also love all the variety of produce and products! Most of all I like the everyday specials. Although there is a lot to love there is always room for improvement. Starting with the displays and decor. Most of all improvements on the bathrooms.

Could be alot cleaned. But the general public is very dirty here.

The cake itself was beautiful. It was for my sons birthday. He rated it a 4 because he liked the frosting. The actual cake was dry and almost tasted stale. No one finished their slice and I would have taken it back for a refund but the customer service was HORRIBLE. Wish a I knew her name but a younger chick with black hair, bangs sticking out from her hat was the rude one saying she didnt see me standing there and she could help me because the other women helping with cakes suffers from anxiety and that shes slow. I was standing there watching the women with anxiety do a fine job. It was just a rude and awkward situation. The young girl messed up my experience. I will travel outside the city to another locatin just to avoid the possible interaction Id have with her. If there was a customer service training course to be offered, sign her up.

This is a very busy market, crowded, long lines, and needs improvement on aisle space for walking, pushing carts and for wheel chairs. Great weekly sales. Wednesdays are fruits and vegetables. Thursdays fresh cut meats, chicken, beef & seafood. Saturday and Sunday specials! General merchandise. Great selection on bakery goods. Although, youre getting a good deal, three cilantros for $0.99 the produce and quality isnt all that great, theyre were wilted. Customer service is great. Parking is hectic.

My visit was quick in and out so automatic 3 stars. The community in Huntington Park has a good population of bicyclists so a better bike security approach to offer customers, is the kind of 4 or 5 star business behavior I look for.. bikes keep getting stolen because of lack of security or lack of cameras protecting locked bikes.
