So much waiting that I am still in the store wondering if I should just buy a new product rather than waiting for the guarantee to be acknowledged. Also want to buy an IPad Pro, but I ordered and it will delivered at my house before the specialist can talk to me… but let’s be frank, it’s not really busy around here!PS: I talked to the specialists, they were nice and useful. It’s really a problem of organization mostly.

I had the worse experience like so bad that I no longer wanted to be an Apple customer. I purchased a replacement device yesterday. And prior to making the switch I explained to the lady that was assisting me that I recently changed my number and my Apple ID does require two factor authentication. She said it wouldn’t affect anything and proceeded with the switch. So now I’m trying to sign in on my new device it’s sending a code to the old number that I had. I tried to send a code to my email which worked but it now says I have to wait 24 hours for status information. After the 24 hours passed it said 6 DAYS! Alll thanks to that lady.

This Apple store in location pretty much checks off all the boxes. The Genius Bar is equipped with a lot of technically affluent employees that I’m more than willing and ready to help you resolve any issues you have and see to it that you make it to your appointment on time. The store is well-stocked easy way out so it’s easy to navigate, bright, so I definitely recommend this location to anyone in the neighborhood or in the area looking for Apple products, do you want me disappointed by the offerings.

Once again the Apple store at Walt Whitman did not disappoint! Mark J. exceeded my expectations on being able to solve a problem that was an emergency. I could not be without a phone and he understood that. My mom was in critical condition in an ICU unit and being without a phone was not an option. Debbie was there to make sure all of my info downloaded and I was able to receive messages updating me on her condition. Mark held my hand, had a heart to serve and help and was competent, funny and professional to boot. After the way they helped my son last year, when I had an option to go to another store, I chose them. I would chose them again if I ever needed help.

Very impressed with my experience at this store today. Getting a new phone has always been a nightmare experience for me. Today couldn’t have gone smoother. I am so glad that I had Nick assisting me. He was very understanding and helped me figure out the best phone for my needs. He also has a great personality and I enjoyed chatting with him throughout the process. Thanks to him, I will definitely be returning to this location.

Having waited an hour past my appointment time (which I of course don’t fault the tech for), I was eager for my phone’s issue to be diagnosed and corrected. As the issue was with my charging port, I figured it seemed like a repairable problem (though I’m no techie). In no uncertain language, he said there was no way for it to be fixed and that ultimately I’d have to get a new phone. I was dubious and later did my research and thankfully took it to a third party screen repair shop which swiftly and professionally changed the charging port for $50 (a savings of hundreds had I had to buy a new phone). I have a sour taste in my mouth realizing I’ve really been taken advantage of, which is sad since I’m such a devout Apple customer. I am somewhat thankful this experience led me to an outside party which I’ll exclusively go to with future problems. I will likely not return to Apple for assistance because of broken trust.

Great service here! I had an appointment with the Genius Bar. Got there and checked in for a MacBook issue. I did wait 10-15 minutes but that was all right.The actual diagnosis and prices to get it repaired was quick. Luckily the repair was covered under a program...otherwise it would’ve been pricey. They had to take the MacBook and ship it out to their repair center and I was told 3-5 business days. I got it back in 2 business days.So the only thing I can really say is I’ve had a great and seamless experience!

Went to the store & was told (by an unpleasant security guy) that I need to order online & then can pick up in the store. What happens to simple going to store & buying products?????

Impossible to reach anyone by phone in the store. If you call, the automated system is difficult to navigate. It understands complete sentences but you have to know which essential key words get you through to someone at the store, otherwise you will be shipped to the various 800# service centers. Neat trick: say store manager to get you through directly - however nobody answers the phone. this is difficult especially when the store initially leaves you a message to contact them. Second - brought a laptop in for inspection and repair. I was told the unit suffered water damage and would cost between $900 - $1,200 to replace and holds zero resale value. It is what it is. My issue is being told after the fact and for the first time from a voicemail - that since I declined repair service, there is a balance due...on a unit still under its one-year warrantee. I worry that the company has developed and relied on advanced and efficient automated processes however theyve lost step with common sense.

I didnt like the way the staff handled the crowd. They allow non shoppers to hang in the store scrolling on a phone, while paying customer get to wait outside, with no clear communication of when you can spend your hard earned money.I wish there was another store closer on the south shore.. Not worth the long stressful trip up Broad hollow rd. Consequently, I have need a Mac Book pro, and need to go back. Wish me luck..

I went for a new Ipad, waited in line for 30 minutes and they did not even have it available in their store. The other stores within 20 miles might have it but I could not book an appointment with any of them in the same day. I really dont understand how they could not have their own products in stock. I end up went to Best Buy, got my new Ipad in 15 minutes and paid $50 less (because Best Buy matched Amazon price)

I needed some technical assistance after I locked myself out of an older device. I made an appointment and was seen immediately. My temperature was taken and I felt very safe in the store. The technician who helped me, Moti, did a wonderful job. He was able to successfully get me back into my device. He also assisted me with family sharing of my music. I found him easy to communicate with and extremely professional. He went above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied with the entire experience. Apple is a brand I trust and today reinforced that. Thank you Moti (Huntington NY)

I went there before 10 am, I got in line, and one of the guys outside the store ask me some questions, and then told me I have to speak with another guy, then this one ask me some more questions, then he told me to come back at 10:30 am to get in line again... after more questions, this new guy told me to make another line, after some more minutes, another guy came and told me to wait inside the store, in there a new guy came and ask me what kind of device I need, I went to look for an iPad pro for my wife, he told me that only they have the 512 Gig... to stop this nonsense, I left the store, and I went home to buy a regular Ipad 8 generation 128 gig, gold rose and I was aproved for the Apple credit card, it was a better experience doing it from my home computer... what a waste of time going to the store!!!

They do not keep too much product in stocks so call ahead for info on your items. I went for i phone 12 and and they only had the more expensive models. I went yesterday for a mac book air and they only had the more expensive models. The staff are as helpful as can be. I went for a repair to my older mac and they took care of it quickly.

My experience with this Apple store has been quite iffy. Sometimes my experiences are handled with care and support. Other times, I often find myself feeling frustrated after going there.The security guard, depending on the day, can be quite rude. Some of the staff can treat you without any respect if you do not make a reservation ahead of time, which I did not know initially.However, for the most part after my initial bad experiences, the staff has been treating me much better. Maybe it was one of those growing pains of getting used to COVID operations. I don’t know.

Ive tried to call this specific Walt Whitman Apple store 10 times in a row, and each time I get connected to someone, the Apple representatives pick up the phone and instantly hang up. Terrible customer service.I encourage everyone to see for yourself how bad the customer service is: Try calling this exact Walt Whitman Apple Store (the number is listed on google if you search Apple Walt Whitman Mall) and ask to speak to a manager. See for yourself what they do. Once you ask to speak to a manager, the phone rings, they pick up the phone and then they instantly hang up, and they dont even give you an option to leave a voicemail or to speak. What an embarrassment!

Vishal is absolutely amazing. He knows anything and everything about the iPhones. He knows how to configure it, how the motherboard works, how to resolve an issue on the iPhone itself, he knows all the components to the devices, etc. He is the best worker at that location. I can’t say enough about him he is so professional at what he does and gracefully fixes any issue. Vishal is your go to guy, no one else at that location can compete with the intelligence and brilliance that Vishal has. He’s a very bright young man. I needed some EarPods for my Chromebook for virtual school and the ones I kept getting at the dollar store didn’t work. He automatically knew which ones I needed and a guy came out from the door with the exact product in just a click of a button. I don’t care whether or not it’s just a retail store they don’t get enough credit for the devotion they have, some of the people at the Walt Whitman location are genius’s who know everything about anything that has to do with an iPhone. I can’t say enough about how amazing that particular location is, don’t go to anyone else besides Vishal, he’s a champion at what he does and definitely needs a promotion.

Daughter purchased new phone did all things required for pick up. Checked in told to stand by a table. Expect 30 minute wait. At least 4 employees standing around. We are not next on list. Does not seem to matter that we are here snd people before us are not. Bring lunch and dinner you will be here for the day. They are not user friendlyUpdate only fair. We just finished. It was painful. The instructions on in store pick up are not clear. You have to live it. So back your phone up before you trade it in. It will be easier to transfer data. Our phone brand new out of the box did not have the newest software. Add time for that. Maybe 20 minutes. Maybe longer. You go to a table where someone will help you. But they don’t tell you it is self service and the staff is only there to answer questions. A lot of employees walking around. Not all helpful. We did luck out with our guys. Also group project mentality in other customers helping each other.This will not be a quick in and out. Plan your day or night around it I would expect that APPLE being like the mother of all tech companies would have had a more user friendly process. Expectations too high. I am leaving my 1 star score. Don’t expect too much and you will not be disappointed.

Our six month old puppy decided to bring my daughters phone outside. This resulted in a crack on the screen. The next day she dropped her phone and it cracked even more all over. Went to Apple to buy a new phone, they were the only store that still carried the xr (128gb) around us. We went inside and Jonte helped us. He was super nice and explained everything. Went last night with mother in-law to upgrade her 5 to iPhone X. Yeah we waited 15 minutes or so but just like a trendy popular high in demand restaurant, you wait. It was worth it. We got a professional representative who was patient well-versed and knowledgeable. She went through the process didn’t oversell us and helped every step of the way. Incompetent and inattentive employees. Bought online and got told to stand in a queue to pick up. However despite standing there for half an hour while multiple employees stood around and did nothing nobody came to check my name or order. Around twenty people who had come after me got their orders and left before I called someone over again (first time the employee ignored me) and told them to manually check. When asked what the problem was the employee said “system error”. Sounds like something that shouldn’t be happening at Apple huh? Either way someone should have checked on my after my pick up time had lapsed thirty freaking minutes. And when I got my order they just gave it to me loose, not in a bag or anything. If I wanted to stand in a crowded mall for nearly an hour (45 min in and out) during a pandemic I wouldn’t have ordered ahead. Get it together.

Located inside the Walt Whitman Mall which is located off of Route 110 servicing Huntington and the adjoining areas of Suffolk County. Plenty of parking and a wheelchair accessible entrance. Great Staff, especially Tim and Brandon! Clean facilities. Public Restrooms inside the store. Always a line, but it moves fast. We will definitely be going back.

I wish I had taken a photo yesterday to post here. Since I had an appt to go I thought it would be very organized. The check-in process was a mess, even if you had an appointment. Long line, lots of people not social distancing, 3 different employees checking people in - sometimes theyd try to check the same person more than once. The store seemed to have waaaay more people in it than it should. When I was finally checked in to go in, another employee yelled at the person I was working with for not taking my temperature (someone had already taken my temp). I just left. Didnt feel safe. Probably a good idea if appointments are required to shop - or at least have one line for appts, and another for standby customers who can enter during slow periods.

Worst possible service received today at this store from the senior manager Michael Enright who did nothing possible to help his staff resolve a problem that arose in trying to buy a watch with Apple store gift card. Kept passing the buck - we ultimately gave up after wasting 1 hour of everyones time - calling multiple Apple support numbers from the store location - all INSIDE the store where he could have resolved the matter in a few seconds. Good news are they immediately replaced my iPhone with no questions or payment (was still under limited warranty, but it was the absolute last day of the warranty). Bad news it took well over two hours, and most of it was just waiting for a rep to help. I saw many people sit and wait for 20-30 minutes AFTER they were called for their appointment. The store on Sunday was simply packed and the staff couldn’t handle the volume. I had to backup my phone, but once that was done I waited for an extra 20 minuets just for a rep to replace the SIM.

My iPhone X had the black screen of death and for the life of me I could not get it to work. I went in and they told me that the soonest they could get me in was 5 days. Jonte was able to help me the next day when they opened! He is very good and helped me very much! Thanks to him I am sticking with this company and am only going to this Apple store. I was pleasantly surprised that it was done so quickly and it cost less than was estimated. I am one satisfied customer and like this store much more than the Roosevelt Field store. Very large Apple store and not as busy as the one in Roosevelt Field Mall. On the day I went it was supper cold inside so wear a sweater if you plan on being there a long time.The staff was super helpful. My personal pickup item was brought out in just a few minutes. The screen on my computer cracked 12 days before I had to go back to school. After checking every day, I got an appointment 8 days before I needed to go back. When I brought it in, I was told that the repair would take a maximum of 5 day to repair, and that I would receive an email at every step of the process. 3 days later, I log onto my account to check if it came in yet to find that the technicians found more extensive damage 2 days ago, but would not repair until it was authorized. I received no email, phone call, or any other type of communication telling me I needed to do anything, and my laptop had sat in the warehouse for 2 days. I became concerned that it would not arrive in time before I had to leave for college, so I called the store to ask if there were any options to have it shipped to the Apple Store near my school instead. The man on the phone was condescending, rude, and refused to help. He repeatedly said You needed to specify before it left that you wanted to pick it up somewhere else. It is not Apples fault that you planned incorrectly, as if it was my fault that it sat in the warehouse for 2 days. I offered to pay in person, pay more, etc, and he would just cut me off and say Not possible. Finally, one day after I return to school, they call and say I need to call back to authorize someone to pick it up. I call back 8 times, and 8 times my call is dropped. I call Apple Support, who calls the store, and the store ignores their call. At Apple Supports request, I send an email to the store authorizing someone. When my parents go to pick it up, I receive a call from yet another rude representative angry at me for not calling them back earlier. When I explain that the calls were dropped, he said Not my problem, you should have kept calling.

The state of Pennsylvania updated their ID cards and this store would not sell me anything. They claim they their system shows the old ID so they cant sell anything to anyone who has the new ID card.I tried to explain to the manager that a quick search of the PennDOT website will show that the ID cards have been updated and he still would not honor that. I certainly will not be shopping at that store ever again.

This far surpassed any other computer buying experience i have ever encountered. The employees were very knowledgeable and did not try to pursue me to buy stuff that i did not need. They had the exact computer i needed in stock and even helped me set everything up. I will warn you that it does tend to be very crowded there, but they have a lot of employees to compensate for that.
