At Walmart and other stores where they have automatic register, is logic that those things are programed to pay with only cash or only card, but this place, where everything is $1 and I had to expend less than $5, they want me to pay in card or go to another line, I told them that i had the exact amount and even the cashier take the money already, I just need to gave her the 0.20 cents... I really dont understand... They have cashiers..!!! Is something that They cant count money or something like that.???

Infact, l was excited when l received email to pick my delivery.When l got there one of order was damaged so the store manager has to re-oder for me, other than everything went on smoothly.Let say that, the storemanager was a very helpful and assured me of getting me a replacement and appologize make me feel at home and appreciate his courteous maner shown.I appreciate your business.

Update 01/17/18:Went into this Dollar Tree for some Christmas decorations and what to my wondering eyes should appear ... a mess, and the employees stepping over the mess to restock the shelves. How about if you pick the inventory up off the floor first -- you may have been able to save a few bucks. 🙄 SMH! Thats just a thought. 🤓Had this store been in another neighborhood the Dollar Tree would not let this go on.My ⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars 9 months ago has been downgraded for the reasons listed above and as seen in the new photos. Maybe under new management, not sure.Previous review:This is the best Dollar Tree in the area. They have just about everything with the exception of they dont seem to have as many name brand cleaning products as some of the other Dollar Tree locations.

The store got a lot better since my last visit months ago. Very organized, full of decor, specially now for Halloween and believe or not, Christmas decorations are already available. You can get good deals for only a $1, there is nothing to complain about it.

OMG! Kudos to the store manager. Store is much more organized. The teachers corner has stuff that other dollar tree don’t have: De Seuss!!Went back for a small return and the cashier was very nice. Only one thing I couldn’t grind was the paper towels! But that’s alright. Thanks!

This location has become one of my favorites. Sometimes theyre out of the items I want to purchase but in the new norm its kinda understandable. Cashiers & store clerks are always nice so that balances things out for me.

I have been posting pics for months. No one cares about this trashy store. Today it looked like somebody had a party in the food section, all kinds of food was open and half eaten then they must have wrapped up some leftovers with aluminum foil, as many were open and thrown everywhere. The store is hazardous.

Love that its truly a Dollar store. It has everything that I need, including snacks. My daughter and I are regular shoppers because, it fits our budget.

This store is never open during the hours its supposed to be. I wish they would just make a sign which has their actual store hours and stop making handmade signs. This is the third time that Ive tried to come to this dollar tree only to be greeted with a sign telling customers what time they will open the next day. Third times a charm, now I know to just pretend this one doesnt exist past banking hours.

This store has once again suffer a failure of management - it is dirty, messy and lines are very long...when staff doesnt care it shows. A month or so ago I congratulated the general manager and the regional manager who was at the store at the moment on how cleaning organizer store was after the awful condition of the store around the holiday season Once Again the store has suffered and its representative of the leadership and the staff I understand that this is a discount store but this is a national chain and they should be standards and if you need me to take ditional pictures to show you I will be happy to do so please focus on the store the merchandise on the shelves and the customer service

One of the least staffed and organized Dollar trees Ive been to. But DC has very limited options and they all are about the same. Lacks the assortment of items that others have and definitely needs more help keeping it tidy.

Gross gross gross!!!This location is disgusting! Tried to give them several chances on three different visit but its always the same. A HORRIBLE HOT MESS! The floors are filthy, the shelves are disorganized and have products thrown about, and the selection is poor. I am shocked that management hasnt closed this place down for a few weeks to gets things back under control.The employees seem to be conforming to the absurd circumstances-- walking over the mess and taking no accountability. They are acting like the store is presentable and ready for customers-- NOT! Now Im wondering why the customers are marching around in here like this store is normal. Some folks Ive seen there even allow their kids to run around out of control as if they are at the zoo. Its just ridiculous...plain and simple.

Since the store has been open. It never seems to be in order with clear and functional aisles. The employees seem to change often and shelves always seem a mess. I hope one day the owner and staff will get it cleaned and easily accessible to customers. Three stars for being a Dollar Tree and within minutes to my home.

Change of management/staff, looks better then 3 years ago. Us staff came along way to keep up with this store. Thanks for shopping at our store. the bad part of every year ive been at this location is baskets and shopping carts go missing every 6 months or less.Just went to this location today. 9/22/21 and I literally just wanted to walk back out. It was that bad all over again. They dont clean up spills that is left on the floor, thats sad and a sue for whoever falls on it!! Smh. The staff gave up looks like!! Do better!! This store was too messy! I could not find, at first what I was looking for. If they are remodelling then I understand..... yet, this place was a mess and I had to go a second time around to dig into the piles of items all over the place. The employees were nice though. I felt bad for them. The cashier who attended my family and I was amiable.

Large store with a lot of options all for a dollar. Parking is easy and the staff are nice and willing to help find items. There is a dollar store two blocks from me, but I prefer this location due to the size and accessible parking.

Under new management. Dont dissappoint us, It looks great now. I was truely shocked. Clean and organized. Black guy manager is awesome. Sorry dont know his name. Professional, attentive and truely cares to make a difference. 100% improvement since last year. I hope it stays that way.

The Dollar Tree in general is a boon for the ordinary consumer. The staff was gracious and professional.I gave been dismayed that the stores in DMV area are so poorly stocked. Those on west coast are like department stores. Whats up with distribution chain on East Coast?

I went here once and it was horribly dirty and unorganized and wondered how it was even allowed to be open. Then yesterday I had to go to get balloons, and its been shut down for health reasons. Would have been good to know before I wasted my time driving to this location.

I personally love Dollar tree in general, but This particular dollar tree is a hot mess! Ive shopped there many times and the place is always in horrible condition. Theres always merchandise on the floor of every aisle. The shelves are half empty, while theres boxes waiting to be stocked. Also, there was a bad smell of urine throughout the store during my last visit. Save yourself the hassle, find another dollar tree.

Horrible wont go to that particular store. Im partially disabled, I use a Kane upon entering the store I noticed about ten carts are tied together with shopping bags. The associate then tells me there r no more cart do I have to use a basket. I had to limit y spending, and not get everything that I came to get since I cant balance the heavy basket and my Kane. Get to the line one register is open and the rest of the associates male and female are running around all looking overwhelmed. Untidy store, bad work ethic and very poor service. Sorry

The local Dollar Tree closest to my home in Hyattsville, Maryland has the worst Associates that Ive ever experienced in all my days of shopping at the Dollar Tree!!! Not sure what happened to the management over the past month or so but Ive noticed that the management and the service has gone down tremendously long lines so-called store managers outside during those long lines its unbelievable!!

The place was a wreck. There was more product on the floor in boxes than on the shelves. Couldnt really shop for anything as everything was in boxes.

Whoever is the manager of this store should be ASHAMED! The absolute most disorganized, disgusting Dollar Tree I have ever been too. There was stuff all over the floor, sticky stuff all over the baskets, shelves were just piles of random stuff, and there were half-unpacked boxes of stuff blocking the aisles. At first I thought it was just mess because they were switching out seasonal merchandise, but no the entire store was like this. Ive been to many a Dollar Tree and they have all been nice and neat - save yourself and a trip and go to another store.

I gave it 3 stars only because I can get all of my cleaning and work related stuff (pens, paper, etc) from there, but for the most part there are mouse droppings through out the store, Ive had to take dog treats back twice because it had expired in 2014. The store is always a mess and most of the time the shelves are not even stocked🤦‍♀️. They need to hire more people that will do the job Right!

It smells really bad its dirty an unorganized!! Brought a loaf of bread from there an got home an seen that a mice had eaten through the bottom an they wouldnt take it back which was fine as dirty as that store was I figured they need that dollar more than me!!!

The nastiest Dollar Tree Ive ever been in.... Floor needs a good sanitizing mop up as there are black stains/build-up from where stuff was spilled... Food packages that have been chewed thru by mice... Stood in shambles from customers & staff not straightening periodically through the day. I was afraid to purchase any food items, even canned, and washed my hands at the Wendys as soon as I left out. Ugghhh!!!

Hands down the worst dollar tree I have ever been it. This store needs a new manager and staff. There are debris everywhere, boxes stack as tall as me (6); which has been there for months, unstocked shelves, completely filthy. Its ashame that it looks like a tornado hit it.

Terrible Svc, only one register open and line down aisle. Asked manager if he could open another register and his comment was he couldnt he only had one other clerk. He should have either opened one himself or had the other clerk open one temporarily. The cashier on the one register that was open worked that long line alone and it was constantly growing . The store is junky, so what is the manager doing? This complaint is for store # 654 and to commend sales associate Ms. Pat for having a smile and Pleasant attitude although I am sure she was tired and feet probably hurting from standing so long.

They have terrible costumer service and did not answer any of my calls and it is dirty and i found an insect in my bag of chips.

This place used to be called Deal$ and the it was not that great of a dollar store. I noticed previously it was a Dollar Tree and switched over. Recently it became a Dollar Tree again and honestly this Dollar Tree is one of the most unorganized I ever been to. Stuff is thrown everywhere, short staffed, boxes are left out to be stocked and etc. I usually sneeze when Im in there because of the pollen and dust. It honestly needs a make over and while it has the dollar tree name its still Deal$. I would highly recommend finding another dollar store to spend your money at.

Update 6/27/2017..... A month ago I rated this store. Today I am doing an update about the current condition the store is in. HORRIBLE, just HORRIBLE to walk into that store. Honestly, I do not even know why they hire employees, they are NOT doing anything. That place looks like a scene from The Walking Dead. Shelves are empty, boxes everywhere, merchandise all over the floor..... I will keep going just to take more picture and update my review.I have to agree with most of the comments on here. This store is a mess and most of the staff there are VERY rude. I read someone else comment about the older black lady yelling thru the intercom stop playing with the horn when a child was playing with one. I thought that was rude too, not so much her asking that kids dont play with the toys, but more of the tone she used and how she said it. Regardless of how nice you are with the cashiers they will still be rude and not even greet you. There is ONE cashier whos name is Rashiddda and she is usually pretty nice. The store IS ALWAYS a disgusting mess and I will be posting pictures od that later on today.This DT is the only one around here so we are pretty much stuck with this service and staff unless corp steps in and does something about it.

The store in langley park was a hot dirty mess floor dirty and sticky the ISLE filled with boxes the store was not shoppable! The store looked as if a bomb went off in their.

So called manager is terrible. Asked if i can get help looking for the location of the binder her response was idk go check the stationary isle without even guiding me. at check out i swiped my card and i asked if i could do credit, she made me feel as if i was broke and retarded when she said your card is declined with a laugh. my card was declined bc when i asked her how do you do debit she hit the green button, obviously it was going to decline, she hit submit with no pin. then when i asked can i speak to the manager she laughed and said i am the manager then when i asked for her bosses name she said im the boss you stupid migo i feel disrespected and appalled at the fact that she would stoop so low to that. i am a college gradutate with a 3.5 gpa, i dont have any need for these idiotic insultsso called managers name was melissa. i will not be done just here, i will find a hire up and report her. if you have the same problem please dont stay quiet.

The cashiers seem like I came to their house to bother them! Everyone has bad days but everytime I go in there and I am standing in line I think 2 things: 1) Mgmt must also behave this way for it to be okay all the time in here, and 2) I wish the staff were atleast pleasant. Closing time on the web for this store is 10pm when I reached there it was already closed as it was 5 min past 9pm. right at that time the store manager open the door for a customer to get out. I told him to get the time fixed on the web and he was rude like hell stated its my store, I dont care whats on the web and the time is written on this paper placed at the entrance.First of all you should care, second you should apologize for the inconvenience and third you should get it fixed..... instead he said you report it to Dollar tree.So here goes.... this is my report ....
