Just had my screen protector on my IPhone replaced. They are friendly, helpful, quick. The “blue shirt” was very skilled and made sure there was not a speck of dust under that protector! The Protection Plan is definitely worth it!

Takes 30 minutes for someone to come open the case to grab a simple item.Trying to buy some TVs? Oh thats going to be at least an hour for someone to find the time to grab them for you.Its actually faster to drive to the parking lot and order it online for curbside pickup. Dumb

Where do I begin? How about, right at the beginning. If you find yourself lucky enough to enter this Best Buy, you will be graced with an organized store, well-stocked shelves, and very helpful and kind cashiers. This was the third store that I visited in search of an Apple Watch, I used the Best Buy website to ensure they had chargers in stock. When I arrived, there were plenty of chargers to go around. I left the store feeling like I had made new friends with the employees I met at this Best Buy location. Thank you, Best Buy! You really are the BEST BUY.

The in store customer service is amazing!!!! The phone customer service is horrible. They had to transfer to multiple different people and the one I ended up with ended up barely speaking English. She couldnt help me figure out how to return an item that was delivered.

These guys are amazing! Today, my sister and I stood in line for a PS5 and the employees were incredibly helpful in helping us get our consoles and back to our houses. We are obviously super excited to use our new PS5s and I would highly recommend Best Buy in IF for any and all of your tech needs!

Stopped in to pickup an online order and try to replace the battery in my car key. I asked Anna at the front counter if she knew if they had any screwdrivers for sale small enough to fit the ridiculously tiny screw on the key. Anna not only offered to use one of theirs, but also had Garret and Travis in the back take apart my key, replace the battery, and put it all back together. Thank you so much guys!

Although I waited a little over an hour for a trade in to work (because Best Buys trade in system was down even at corporate), I was very pleased when the manager made up for it by selling me the phone for the at-cost price. I thought Id have to spend 70$ overall to trade in, I ended up making money in the end with the discount. I have to go back to get the money, but they were very helpful overall with the huge corporate hiccup. (sidenote: this is on a corporate level not local, but I would appreciate it if the phone number actually patched through to the store im calling, not just the national call centers, but they can call you back from the local store).

Definitely a great Best Buy location! One nice thing about businesses here in Idaho is its pretty rare to ever visit a store that is jam-packed with people, and this store is no exception. Its big, well staffed, and very calm and peaceful so you can take your time looking at great electronics without worrying of people getting in the way or being harassed by an annoying salesperson.

Theres not as many students deals as I remember, but overall theyve got some high quality stuff. Theyre pretty understaffed at the time we went and I didnt realize you had to go up to the host to get an associate. The associates were a little awkward but very helpful. Overall a good experience; would just have more staff at nights

The phone service is horrible. They forward your to the nation wife number who can nit answer Inventory questions. Also, poor customer service. Must go to the front to request an agent to help you. The agents pretty much ignore you otherwise them they come looking for you while browsing and are not good at asking if you are next on the list. I stood by the.comptier and had to go back up multiple times to ask for assistance. They kept apologizing but didnt provide the help. The laptop I wanted was good bit the customer service experience was not.

Trying to buy anything is a joke anymore in the Idaho falls location I have gone in 4 different times now in the last couple years and every time it’s like pulling teeth to get help because they seem to have plenty of stocking staff but no sales staff and the items I always plan on buying are in cases that need to be unlocked by a staff member, it’s not like a cell phone case. And today they didn’t seem busy but I stopped a stocker and he rudely informed me there are two salesmen and they are busy if I want helped then I need to go up front to a man in a blue shirt and get put in the que. I did as he informed and went to the front front and asked how long the wait is and he said it would be 15 to 20 minutes I just can’t believe how far down hill their customer service has gone.

I would appear that BB has a new, check in at the front door policy if you require a sales associate to assist with purchase, or questions, you must first sign in. If you fail to do that, which I may offer, is not explained upon entry to their store. You might as well be a ghost or have your cloaking device engaged. We waited patiently for the best part of 30-40 minutes. Observed more then enough sales associates milling about talking to each other, arranging shelves. However no contact was attempted, more of an overt process of avoiding eye contact on the associate level. That of which became blatantly obvious after a short time of observation. After what I felt was a threshold of time more then I was willing to dontate. Upon exit, the exit associate asked the obligatory question of, did you find what you were looking for, I politely responded, yes, but could not find an associate to assist. I was needing a laptop. Well Im sorry, but if you needed assistance with a purchase, you need to sign in with our que here at the front door, and is required due to lack of sales associates. I response to that comment, the associate, was thank you for coming in have a nice day. (There was visibly a staff to customer ratio on the floor of at least 3 to 1) very disappointed in the experience and the lack of customer engagement. Ive purchased many of items over the years from BB even back in the circuit city days. This level is a new level.

I was exhausted after spending hours shopping around for a new laptop and not finding what I wanted. I stopped at best Buy in Idaho Falls. As soon as I walked through the door I was introduced to an employee named Garrett. (# 1447442) He was very professional and extremely helpful. Less than 20 minutes later, I walked out of the store with the laptop I wanted ordered and scheduled to be shipped to my doorstep within 4 days. Thank you for hiring a very competent employee!

Went there for some car audio equipment. Nobody offered to help. Finally asked someone and they couldnt help so they got someone else. Tried to charge me $180 bucks for an adapter I can buy at a car audio store for $40. They told me Id have to relocate my radio to the trunk. Seriously? If I relocated my radio into the trunk then how can I listen to it when Im driving down the road? Ever since this store has open the service has been substandard. Today is the last day that I will ever step foot in that store service always is less than stellar absolutely no help and you cannot even call the store to see if they have what you are looking for.

I was hoping to just take one home but couldn’t keep waiting. I bought an Xbox Series x and after waiting 2 weeks was able to pick it up. When I was curbside, the blonde girl brought it out with a huge gash/hole in the box and said dont worry, we tested it and it works. I had to go to meet someone so I had to drive back later in the day to return it.The 5 foot 4 female body guard girl that you pay to guard the door and greet at the door (lol) was shocked that I wanted to return an item I waited 2 weeks for with a huge hole in the box and didnt know how to set up a refund. I Love Best Buy ... But, I had a very hard time w/catching this store open. They didnt open until 11am & closed at 7pm. Only open for 8 hours a day?! (Just a week & 1/2 before Christmas too) ... The salesman that helped me was very friendly & knowledgeable. That was nice, but overall ... It was propably the smallest Best Buy Ive ever seen or been in ... So, they dont have the biggest selections to choose from. I didnt make a purchase. Couldnt find what I needed.

Went to Best Buy 11 a.m. on Monday April 19th was looking for a simple camera bag and maybe a tripod walked into the store five people around the security kiosk asked if somebody could direct me do the camera bags and tripods they should go towards the back on the left hand side I found what I was looking for but had a few questions found a young man with a BestBuy name tag asked if he could help he said no sir you have to walk to the front of the store and ask for Garrett and hell help you I said I have to walk from the back of the store to the front of the store to get help he said yes sir so I did this sound Garrett asked if he could get somebody to help me and he said sure and walk back to where I was at with me and I said why did I have to walk all the way up front to get you to come all the way back with me when you could have just help me from back here Garrett said thats our new policy sir so I informed to Garrett this will never happen again. Its an electronic store usually you know what you want but in case you have a question youd like to get 30 seconds worth of help Ethan Garrett didnt know the answer he had to open the box to look so it was a valid question wasnt stupid thats why I didnt order it online if I already know all the answers and know what I want I can get it shipped by Amazon in one day free shipping and customer service is impeccable you can contact somebody on the phone in minutes with Amazon it makes no sense a company is large is Amazon who deals is many customers as it does and then a small Best Buy store in Idaho Falls just cant seem to take care of its customers and have excuses for every question asked they said they do it this way because its so busy on Fridays and Saturdays I said well its Monday at 11 and nobodys here and theres nobody on the floor to help the young man said will come back on a Saturday and youll understand why we do it this way I said I came in on Monday so I wouldnt have to deal with the crowds and the poor customer service Ill never spend another dime at Best Buy I will go out of my way even if it cost twice the amount of money Define the product somewhere else even if I have to order it and wait two or three weeks Im not giving another dime to a company that has no customer service

Horrible customer service. Went to buy an iPad and the worker was rude and out of line the whole time. Also wanted to ask a question about a problem I have been having with my phone. He wouldn’t answer due to it being Apple. Ask to be referred to the geek squad and was told no because they wouldn’t answer my questions either. When checking out the lady was rude as well. They made a exciting experience very upsetting and disappointing. Would not buy from this store location again.

The policies for the store during Covid are NOT user friendly. It is frustrating that we have to talk to a national operator and cannot talk to a person at the location. I also am extremely frustrated about needing to make appointments to drop off an item for a repair. The shorter hours have really made working with them difficult as well. This used to be my go-to place for all things electronic. However, the past 6 months have been such a headache that I cannot give them a good review.

Well, discovered you dont want to go in there when theyre changing the store around. Was TOTALLY ignored by all staff for over 30 min. Seemed like putting shelves together and moving products was more important than helping their customers. Finally had to literally yell at a Blue Shirt to even get a question asked. Then after finding what we were looking for, spent another 15 min waiting, (along with about 10 other customers) for someone to check us out. And DONT EVEN ask about an update concerning the GREAT PS5 DEBACLE. (Thats going to leave a mental scar for months.) I usually leave 5 stars for this Best Buy store, but theyre going to have to earn 2 back after our last visit.Makes you wonder if the example of the disaster trying to get a PS5 through Best Buy was just a premanition of the way this company is going to be from now on?? I hope not.

According to Best Buy online they had my product on sale and in stock! That should be a winning combination, right? Everything was perfect until my item couldnt be located in the store. Because of their current COVID policies, I was told I would need to either leave and make an appointment or order my item online because I couldnt talk to someone without an appointment. What?! My desired item was in the store, but obtaining it required some minimal level of customer service that they werent willing to provide. I want to shop locally and keep local jobs when I can, but these policies are making it impossible! In a world full of competition, why not just provide the customer with some courtesy!

Fairly organized as far as best buy goes. They have some pretty competitive prices as far as laptops go and some sweet student deals. There was about 6 people working laptops and all 6 of them asked me every 2 minutes if I was ok.. that was a bit annoying and I knew they were selling printers as an add on to laptops but they just made me feel like a sale.. But overall very clean and organized best buy

Came in to buy a tablet and keyboard and Brian helped us. Got it home and it was the wrong thing and it was a bundle with a keyboard. So returned it for the right tablet and then asked the girl at service desk if keyboard we had would work and she said oh yes. Got tablet home tried the keyboard and it was the wrong one. Returned it today and tried to get help but was told they are way understaffed today. And the guy at service desk told me he buys everything on line instead of the store. Not a fan of best buy.

When you rate a store, its important to remember that things have changed because of the pandemic. In the case of BestBuy, it goes deeper than that. More than half their aisles were blocked by store merchandise as if to corral you in to certain places. The shelves were picked clean by even the simplest things. If you are trying to force customers in to finding alternative ways to buy their merchandise, go in to this store and you will find example after example of how to do it. Its a shame really. Best Buy is a dying breed, and the writing is on the wall for them to go the way of places like Circuit City.

Best Buy has gotten a lot better about carrying better gaming computers and parts than they used to be. The Idaho Falls store is pretty small compared to their stores elsewhere so it feels cramped at times. Their Covid response of having a gatekeeper asking why you came to the store is a little uncomfortable to someone like me that just wants to get what you came for and leave, but otherwise the store is a great place to go for anything computers and electronics.

Lifetime shopper at this place until my last purchase. We have never tried to return or exchange an item at best buy. Make sure you open and inspect anything you buy from this store before you leave because if you open it up later and find your new tv looks like it was jumped on they will tell you theres nothing I can do. I was told this by customer service and the supervisor. The supervisor looks at me and says it obviously has physical damage, no kidding genius thats why we are here to exchange it. Do yourself a favor and spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

Due to covid sometimes there is a line to get into the store and a waite to get an associate to help you. When you get through both of these restrictions then you are greeted with great help and associates. The associates are knowledgeable in everything. I would recommend them any time of day. Went stores to buy an air fry convection oven . We were told appliances were not stocked and need to order what we want due to covid. We were ushered to the area where ovens were and left to brwse. Found Ovens on 2 seperate aisles and found 1 we liked and found another same model on the shelf. Decided we could buy one without ordering, if I say if we couldGet help. The guy that first helped was trying to find refrigerator water filter for a guy. Was in the market for 6 tvs and though i will check out best buy i called and was on hold for 10 minutes only to get hung up on. I tried calling again this time was on hold for 8 minutes before I got hung up on. Everytime I have been to this best buy i have had bad experiences and now I am having nothing but bad experiences even when I call. I will just go to an online retailer such as newegg.com from now on for all computer and television needs.
