Came in to get beads and regalia supplies and was pleasantly surprised by the selection and the prices. The shop owner was very kind as well and gave good beading tips. Its not at all just a Boy Scout store, its a great resource for local Natives as well.
Nice place to pick up what we needed! We highly recommend this shop for all your Native American needs! A+
Cute place. Lots of options for tribal beads and polished stones. Some ready made silver jewelry, beaded objects, and fused glass.
This space has something for all crafters, artists, and really just anyone looking to find some art.
Cute shop! The Grandmas that run the place are charming.
Me and my daughter came in around 430p today and the only thing the attendant said to us was sanitizer by the door! She didnt ask if we were looking for anything in particular or even if we needed help. She just counted her beads at the table and didnt even acknowledge us until we left and said, come again! We most certainly will not! They also have 2 or 3 cats that interacted with us more than she did.
Very cool selection of beads (glass, bone, ceramic you name it) jewelry and other odds and ends. The prices are reasonable and the shop owner is friendly and knowledgeable. If you like stone and geology they have a good selection for you too. Plus a kitty that waits at the door to greet customers (because he gets a treat for everyone that enters lol!) The Friday evening we visited the area was having a street vendor event and a live musician was performing outside. (I think its every month - have to check on that). Cute little area to visit for socially distant browsing and strolling. A couple of restaurants- homestyle, Mexican and one thats a fancier museum atmosphere.
Very knowledgeable and dependable resource for all things related to Mic-O-Say tribal attire. We ordered a custom painted apron and were absolutely blown away by the quality of the work for the price. We also ordered a custom made ribbon shirt and leggings with some very specific two-tone leather design requests and were able to get both done on a rush basis in less than a week and she was even able to make a custom pouch with very little direction from us that came out better than anything we could have thought of and requested on our own. Thank you so much for making my sons vision for his Mic-O-Say tribal attire come to life! We are customers for life and wont go anywhere else!
Very informative and nice people
This shop is a gem in our town! I have been going to Three Trails for probably 15 years. I am always surprised by new, beautiful treasures and interesting finds each and every time I go in! Whether I’m in the mood to make a bracelet or do some beading, looking for a specific sterling charm, or needing a special or unique gift, I always can find just what I need (or something I LOVE) here. There is quite an assortment of sterling jewelry, glass beads, Native American items, leather and suede, sterling clasps and findings, and tons more! The owner is very knowlegable and will help you find or make whatever you have in mind. In fact, she has even repaired several of my personal silver pieces over the years. It’s just a GREAT little shop! You MUST check it out!
Amazing shop and knowledgeable owner. Found the beads and stones I was looking for quickly and at a great price. The antler light fixtures and the friendly cat, made the experience of shopping there feel unique. And special. I send everyone I know with boys in Scouts there.
Three trails is a great shop! Lots of beads and locally made jewelry and native America crafts. The owner is very knowledgeable! She was a great help for my son with his Boy Scout attire for Mic-O-Say.I highly recommend her shop

In addition to a great selection of beads, stones and jewelry, there are several beautiful gift items and other interesting things to discover. Classes are offered on beading, making glass beads, and other fun crafts. The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful. Make sure you stop by Three Trails Trading Post. An adventure awaits.

Good materials. An understanding of Mic-O-Say customs.Excellent classes.
Nice selection of Native American beads and stuff. Hotter than h__l as it is not air condition.
An original store for Mic-O-Say - very informed about Tribal Attire requirements and very helpful!
Very knowledgeable about both Geiger and Bartle Mic-O-Say. Very helpful and decent prices!
Bland. (Warning, this is about to be brutal) This is NOT historically-accurate representations of Native accessories or outfits, its more of the arts-n-crafts cutesy stuff for kids in scouts. Lots of imported (Chinese) mass-produced beadwork stuff, kids kits, deamcatchers, fringed suede, fantasy costume stuff (just stick a blue chicken feather and some fringe and plastic pony beads on it, good enough, whatever! Most people wont know its not actually Native American (notice the reviews complimenting the shops knowledge of Indian clothing, even though this is mostly pretend Mic-O-Say fake Indian tribe/Order of the Arrow or 3rd grade Thanksgiving play costume-level kid stuff). Their website home page literally has a suede headband with a Tandy Leather imported beadwork rosette and two dyed feathers on it as en example of their wares. If you need red, yellow, green, or blue chicken feathers, this is your store! You can also take classes, such as the Rosette Applique class, which is shown on their site alongside a tiny, blurry photo of a sad little rosette thats all wobbly and off-center beadwork that doesnt represent any tribal heritage or style (a Native person would be embarrassed). This is what your white grandma thinks shes making during Indian crafts day at the senior center after Tandy has donated its unsold irregular stock. For more, check out their website, which is actually made with Comic Sans font and blurry photos from the geocities 1998 era style that includes text that overlaps itself and links that have been dead for years. The whole store can be summed up by the sad trombone sound.
Very friendly cashier. Large selection of loose beads for arts and crafts. There was jewelry but I didnt really pay attention to selection and price.
Very helpful getting everything we needed for new Mic-O-Say Warrior. Large bead selection.
Procured necessities for Bartle and Mic-O-Say. Very helpful store owner. Friendly cats, too.
I went in to look for a couple scrap pieces of leather and an idea of what i might want to do with it. I came out an hour later with half a bag of scrap leather in various sizes and colors and a whole lot of ideas to help my project even more.
Good store in Independence to find beads and scouting items.
