I came here to replace my old tactical boots, and they had exactly what I needed, even in a ladies size (I was prepared to purchase something in mens). The saleswoman was super helpful. Sometimes I feel a little overlooked or treated differently in stores like this, but she was very attentive, helpful, and kind. I also looked at pants, but Im not exactly built for mens pants, and we couldnt find anything in my size (20-22) in womens. But that was okay. I fully expected that. It was still fun for my husband and me to look around.

I went to 5.11 for the first time the other day and I was so happy that I went! Bryce was super helpful and showed me around the store! He is a very good salesman! I found exactly what I was looking for! Please visit this location! One of my new favorite stores to visit! 😃

Wow fantastic customer service! Silvia was willing to order in some clearance boots for me. UPS sorta lost the order but she and the entire staff were very helpful and polite during the whole situation. The store is very well merchandised, stocked, organized, and clean. Definitely recommend for a visit.

Looking for work pants as a woman has been EXTREMELY hard, but Angel at the 5.11 Independence location made it so much easier. She was incredibly helpful, fun, and made me feel very comfortable. An interesting stop for us in independence mo I would describe as a survivalist store. Easy to find plenty of parking knowledgeable staff. Large selection fun patches!

Great store to get high quality products. Atmosphere is good, no pressure sales people. Not just for just guys either, my wife usually finds something every time we go there also. A little pricey, but what isnt now days. You get what you pay for......usually.

I brought my sister into the 5.11 store in Independence, MO yesterday. The assistant store manager, Angel Goldenberg, was wonderful. She not only helped us find the perfect pants, she was friendly, energetic and professional. It was so refreshing meeting someone like her.

They have everything you need in tactical wear and gear plus the workers are so helpful and nice

Y’all let me tell ya about these two girl running this store. Silvia and Angel are the best at what they do and are very helpful. Their product knowledge is out of bounds and their willingness to help and make sure you get what you need while your in their store. They make you feel like family and remember your face every time you walk back into the store. It is always clean and well organized. I’ve been to a handful of 5-11 tactical stores and this is by far the best one I’ve been to.

Where do I start. I work security and heard about this store through many other officers and even other tactical/first responder stores and let me tell you I have pants for going out to dinner I have pants for work and I have shirts for every occasion. I’ve been to a couple of 5.11 stores in another state and this one by far is my favorite the staff are absolutely amazing at remembering you. Let me tell you about their pants omg they feel good make you look good and last forever. The boots have me feel like I’m walking on nice soft supportive clouds. The staff are absolutely wonderful I feel like they meet my needs in every way Silvia can dress you for success and for what ever job you are doing, she can also tell you about all the gear and cool tricks with them. Angel can tell you about the knives, and “tactical gear” and get you in the right jeans or pants that fit your need. Tod is absolutely amazing as well he’s very knowledgeable about the shoes cause he owns almost All of them🤣. I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting the others yet but I can not wait!! The clothing is a bit pricey but it will last for a very long time it’s amazing quality with top notch stitching and very strong material. I want all the 5.11 items they are all so cool.

We had Angel help us today; and she was a lot of help!She was very helpful and nice. Great upsell without me feeling like I spent too much.. very happy with our first trip out to this store.Angel even had the main item I was looking for ready for me when I got there!I thought it was impossible to beat the customer service when I call in; but wow.I’ll definitely be coming back out here!!!Round trip, it was an hour and a half to go there and home.... well worth it!!!

Visited the store today during this reopening phase. While reading notices on the door to check if they were open, a woman (Silvia) promptly came to the door and asked if I knew specifically what I wanted. I was politely ushered in and over to the pants section. She found my sizes in all 3 styles and had me to the dressing room in a minute flat! As a person who doesnt like to waste time in stores, this was perfect. Found my perfect pair of pants in no time. This is not a thrift store, so come here expecting to spend money for quality clothing that will last. Plan to be back soon!

Alright. Ive stopped in over 25 5.11 tactical stores in all my time and travel and this store is one of the best put together stores out there. Angel, the assistant manager, is incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and welcoming. This is definitely my favorite store front that 5.11 has opened up!

Staff was super helpful. Store is nice and clean, prices are expensive for sorta cheap feeling clothes. The only things they make that are worth the money are the pants and belt. Ive had my belt for over 5 years and its still looking brand new

Awful horrible customer service, my boyfriend and i just went in, the short blonde lady with a strong accent was SUPER rude to us, “ anyone past 6 will vacuum “ excuse me? It was 25 minutes prior. Rude as heck. Wouldn’t recommend, go to another.

My husband received 2 pairs of pants as a birthday gift and he was unable to exchange for his size. They instead said they could offer 20% off a new pair. Makes no sense. He used to love this company but I refuse to spend any money with them ever again.

The inventory displayed is representative of the companies offerings and if they do not have what you are looking for they will order it for you, not that you cant order it yourself but...the location is good being fight across from the mall and located just west of the commons.

Expensive but worth it. The associate was nice my first visit. My 2nd visit she was a little pushy. My 3rd it seemed like I wasnt wanted there due to them doing inventory. Now that I know my size Ill just shop on Amazon. I think I spent around 400 dollars. I didnt really like feeling like I was wasting their time as a customer. My advice to the associate is toncalm down. Customers in retail are always first, then you take care of inventory. Also, breathe. Dont be so high strung. It isnt like I bought a pair of socks. I bought the most expensive boots and 74 dollar pair of pants.

The Grand Opening weekend was busy as expected. The store had several staff members from other locations helping out which helped some but the layout and amount of people in there made checking out a mess. They ran out of store patches and didn’t have the patch of the month available at all. This is a smaller store for sure but I’m sure over time the inventory they stock will change based on the area and what people want. I’ll be back for sure!
