I have never been to a jewelry store where the staff was so unwilling to assist with information on resizing a man’s pinky ring purchased from their organization for over $2K. When I entered the store, the staff were all sitting around doing nothing and made me feel like I was bothering them so they gave me short, quick, rapid responses to hurry me along out of their store. which did not assist me at all. I don’t know if this is the norm or if this is how they treat Black/African-American customers. Either way, it’s unacceptable and I will never purchase anything else from Jared’s again...I am even considering returning the Neil Lane engagement ring I purchased for my fiancé as a result of this store actions. I refuse to support corporations which do not support and practice Inclusion & Diversity.
Always have experienced great customer service at all the jareds I have visited. Most of our jewelry is purchased at a jareds and have been happy with their jewelry.
I am giving this 2 stars because it was very hard to navigate the site. There was no explanation on how to add my Jared credit card number. I looked feverishly for the whole number as opposed to the last 4 since that wouldnt work. I finally figured it out but its just not user friendly. I got so frustrated that I canceled my order. Another thing I dont like is that I got approved for X amount and the jewelry I was trying to buy was less than the amount I was approved for and I still had to use my own debit card for part of the amount. Ill take my business elsewhere. Too much hassle.

Had good service in the past. However, we ordered a custom ring using a family heirloom diamond (100 years old) and theyve dropped the ball twice. First, they failed to send the order until we called weeks later to check on status. The ring finally came in and they made it wrong. Now they want to cut the ring up to fix it instead of make it correctly. Based on the weight were also not certain theyre being forthcoming about the amount of gold being used. Needless to say, my wife has never been so disappointed.

I went to Jareds looking for a replacement for one on my square diamond cluster earring. Associate Cherry did not hesitate to greet me with an award winning smile. She quickly located a replacement for me. But she also gave me an option for a dream set of earrings. And with her and her supervisors assistance they made the last day of my Missouri experience great.

Stopped in there couple weeks ago to get my ring checked and dipped usually a 1 hour turnaround not this trip told me 5 days I dont live in Independence I have to drive almost an hour to get there. I Will certainly rethink my next jewelry purchase from here.
Theresa is a Pandora Specialist there and has helped me several times. She is dedicated, listens, and then finds and recommends exactly what I was wanting; I just wasnt sure exactly which one I wanted. She is a great help. Others have helped me there and they are really good, but if you want Pandora, be sure to get a Pandora Specialist. I trust this store and highly recommend it.
We are very happy customers of this Jareds location for over 10 years. When we walk in the door, even if Im just getting my jewelry inspected, they treat you like VIP. The staff who we have purchased from always know us by name. The locations store manager, Jeff, is amazing and the best at his profession that I have come across. His honesty and professionalism is five star. The quality and level of customer service and satisfaction provided is top notch. I had to have some work done on my wedding ring a few years back, which turned into a total remake of my ring. Jeff would not allow anything short of perfection for my remade ring. It took a few months, but I knew when my ring was finished Jeff would be sure it was right before giving it to me. Sales consultants Bernie, Theresa, and Stuckey are very patient, knowledgeable, and never pressure a sale. My husband and I highly recommend the Jareds Independence store. We first went to this store 6+ years ago when we started looking at engagement and wedding rings. The service has been impeccable every single time weve been in since. Weve purchased a few other pieces of jewelry since the wedding set purchase and every experience has been great. They are not pushy and allow you to browse without pressure to buy. They inspect and clean my wedding set twice a year and we have had no problems whatsoever. This is our store for jewelry buying!
VERY disappointed in Jareds. Buyers beware of this. At Christmas my husband purchased for me a necklace from the ever us collection. He asked if they could come down on the price and was assured since this was a specialty collection item that never goes on sale, they couldnt offer any flex on the price. The piece is very beautiful so today I went on line to look at purchasing the earrings to match. These pieces are now 50% off. I called the store manager to ask about getting the price difference or to return it. As it turns out I was a few days past the 30 day return policy so either way, he couldnt help. Since we are talking several hundred dollars difference, I found that answer unacceptable so I called the 800 # provided on the website. They told me the same thing. My advice to anyone purchasing from Jareds or any jewelry store is to beware of these hidden little tidbits. I feel like we were duped and no longer will be a returning customer.
Outstanding jewelry store, I have shopped at other jewelry stores in the mall, and all I can say is that the not only the quality but the service is set at a much higher standard. I had an incident with one of the jewelry stores in the mall that I was supposed to have a lifetime guarantee on a particular item and they wound up getting out of that guarantee.On top of that, they were very rude And unprofessional . And I can tell you from experience that you will not get that kind of service at Jareds and their prices are comparable to the cheap jewelry you get inside the mall
I went in to this store to see if they would replace the battery in my Seiko watch. The sales associate I spoke to said they couldnt since they didnt carry that brand. You know, liability reasons. However a young man, who appeared to be the manager, said he could do it in exchange for me buying one of the stuffed bears for donation to st. Judes hospital. The cost was more than fair and the jewelry store made no money on the transaction. They did it out of pure compassion for the cause. I think that makes them a great company, and someone I plan to visit the next time I buy jewelry for my wife.
By far the worst experience I have ever had with a company on many many occasions. There is absolutely no way that the 5 stars came from actual customers. #1 worst customer service I have ever had to deal with in 35 years of my life. . and a certain furniture store comes in second. I was told to call customer service cause they would be able to help me but they were actually much worse. I am amazed by how bad they are. They absolutely do not care about their customers. After spending thousands of dallars there, and nothing proud to show from it. I am not spending another dime there again. and as a barber I will not hesitant to tell my customers to never ever buy a wedding or engagement ring or any Jewelry at that place. I always have customers ask for my opinion on where they should eat, shop, hike... ect.... and will tell my experience to who ever wants to listen to it. They dont even deserve 1 star.update. since Jared refused to fix their mistake on my ring. I went somewhere else to get a quote on how much I would pay someone else to fix Jared botchy mistake and it ended up being almost 300 hundreds not only did they not size my ring the size I asked for the first and second time and both before I ever got to take it home and wear, they made the ring so thin that I now have to get more platinum added to fix it. ..... But thats not it. ....they also had two large cracks on the inside of my platinum ring that the makers made before selling it me. So after purchasing a forevermark ring from Jared. platinum, 1 carat diamond and it rated very good on polish and symmetry and spending over 7 thousand dallars. I am now paying a better and more loyal business 300 dallars to fix Jareds mistakes when they made the ring. cause Jared told me it wasnt their problem. and so did Kays in springfeild. I actually took the ring to Kays in the mall cause they are sister companies. And showed them the cracks and he told me tough . lol I walked out shaking my head at him and Ileft with a smile. I guess Jared is wanting to make money off you from the mistakes they make. Till now customer service still has not reached out to me. Never ever buy from Jared when there are thousands of other places that actually care about the customers and a Happy Customer. Jared is just a name. the products from them are crud. go somewhere else and get what you pay for..... when I have time I will write another review of another ring my husband ended up buying me a year later for 1200 dallar fron them. the same but alittle worse happened. I will also post pictures before and after from what jared sent me home with and what it looks like after a different place fixes it.
Went in for a resizing and somehow two of the gems in the ring got lost. The employees and management did everything they could to fix it, even reordering more gems at no cost to us several times. They went the extra mile in every way, and were not satisfied until we were. The customer service here is incredible.
Wish I could give 0 stars. After spending two months trying to design a wedding band to match my engagement ring we bought here we ended up giving up and requesting a refund due to the salesman repeatedly lying to us. He lied about when my engagement ring was to be sent back (we sent it in with the wedding band design so they could ensure a good fit, it wasnt sent back when he said it was) and he lied that he had processed our refund (he never did, he said he processed it on 12/28 and my fiance had to go down to the store on 1/3 to get someone else to process it), and no one had bothered to let us know when my engagement ring actually did make it back in. The final straw though was when he said some very rude comments about me to my fiance.
Bernie and Evan always take great care of me. Their lifetime warranty is amazing and would highly reccomend you check them out if youre in the market for anything from fifty dollars to many thousands!
Writing a one because when I walk into a jewellery store I expect to at least be greeted and acknowledged that I am in the store. Only after leaving and checking the Pandora store and realizing they dont have what Im looking for so I had to go back to Jared and purchase what I was looking for. If the Pandora store had the ring I needed I would not have gone back to Jared. This is the second time I have visited this location and did not feel welcome.
The salesman was nice enough but he told me he didnt really believe in negotiating he thought the item spoke for itself so the price was the price. 3 things have always been negotiations, jewelry, cars, and sex. I bought elsewhere
Been shopping at Jared for some time know and took my wifes ring to get it re-sized the technician there looked at the ring at sized her ring and was so impressed with the ring because it was an old platinum and we told him we have been told it cant be resized but he assured us it can be done they will have to send it out of the store and will get it done, we said great paid for everything in advance and told us 2 to 4 weeks. that was the good part........here comes the bad: waited over a month and called to check on the ring they didnt know why its taking longer then a month will have somebody call you back, another week went by and still nothing I called and was told the same thing. I asked for a manager and all he can tell me is that the ring couldnt be re-sized and that they will have to add a ring inside the ring to make it smaller (which the technician told us otherwise) and it would cost $50 more.so moral of the story is: over a month waiting to find out that they cant do what they promised me unless i pay more money and no communication from there part and I have to do all the follow up.
I damaged my ring, went in to see if it could be fixed because I have the lifetime warranty. The manager helped me (found out after the fact he was the manager) and after checking with the jeweler said it could certainly be fixed. When I picked up my ring I was in a hurry and didnt notice it wasnt fixed until I was in the car. Called back and was told to come back in by another emplyoee. I did a few days later and she said, after looking at my ring, that my only option was to get a new ring, my ring could not be fixed. I was devastated. Waited on another employee to help me when Evan noticed my waiting awhile and helped me. He was the only person to go ABOVE AND BEYOND to get the LAST ring of mine in stock shipped in and replaced- fixing my issue. My ring is back to looking beautiful all thanks to Evan and his dedication to getting me exactly what I wanted. Im so thankful and will continue doing business with him! Thank you!

Jem the sales person or Jeff were outstanding if you ever need any jewelry or custom piece of jewelry made or assistant at Jared make sure you ask for 1 of them or actually anybody there could help you all the sales that there outstanding take their time explain everything listen to you make sure they understand what youre looking for go way above and beyond what a normal salesperson do . They do ir the wright way from the start everybody is equal nobody is better than the other person I treat everybody the same with the upmost respect .
Honest to God the worst customer service. When going in my boyfriend wanted to look at getting a watch and I was looking at getting a ring. When being helped i told her exactly the kind of ring i was looking for and she leads me the complete opposite of what I told her. I get that they want to show you all options but when i tell you multiple times i dont like something and you keep showing me the same thing it bugs me a little. After I told her I didnt like the ring she showed me she passed me off to someone that knew nothing about rings to help a customer that just walked in. The girl she handed me off to was selling my boyfriend a watch and i again had to tell her what i was looking for. After she sold my boyfriend a watch without showing me any rings she just says have a good day. I walked out of those doors super unhappy and went elsewhere. At least the other company I went to helped not only me but my boyfriend to find the perfect ring.

Oh, and if you try and fill out their survey, it takes you to a site that reports as being unsafe.Update: We ended up at Meierottos Jewelry store after Laura and Jeffs rude behavior. We will never shop anywhere else now. Meierottos gave us the best customer service weve ever had. Theyve got a much better selection, and more quality pieces of jewelry. Meierottos is the jewelry store to go to!!

*DO NOT WASTE YOUR THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS OR TIME - SCAMMERS* I wouldnt even give Jared a one star review if I could. These sales individuals are dirty, dishonest and have zero moral compass. They are flat out liars when it comes to financing and their credit card. They dont return your items as requested, they simply push out the due date so that they get your sale and their commission check. Then by the time you get your phone call from the collections agency because youve missed your first payment date, somehow, youre well passed your 30 day return grace period. OH!!! And it wouldnt have even mattered because the salesman offered to engrave my engagement ring for zero charge. Nice of him I thought, but come to find out he did that because once that is done you can not return or exchange-- period. HOW NICE!! Lesson learned here. Definitely read the fine print on their website and any documentation they provide. Im usually very good about these things, but they are good/professional scam artists-- Ill give them that! TERRIBLE experience at this store. The lady at the repair counter was very offensive! Jeff the store manager was also very RUDE and very quick to anger! I have never been treated the horrible way I was treated at this location at any other Jared’s!! Jared’s you really need to take a look at Jeff (your store manager) and there you will see why this location has such horrible reviews because of the way he is treating your customers!
I needed a ruby earring replaced and had been checking out different jewelers. On 07/10/18 end up at Jared and Bernie asked the standard probing questions How much did you pay?, What were the other quotes? and so on. Unlike the others he needed me to leave the earring I did have for 10 days. After a couple of weeks or more and no call the wife was POd. She also thought nearly $1600 for a single earring was a bit much. She went to cancel but found they had it. When she asked Bernie why we didnt receive a call he said Well, it says the promise date was on the 20th. That means nothing to us, a call when it was ready to be picked up would have been nice. Also, I had dropped off the earring we did have in a small plastic bag. That is exactly how we received them back, in the same plastic bag. On top of that there was no certificate for the stone we bought. I might as well have been making the purchase on Craigslist or Ebay. I called Bernie on 07/25/2018 about the certificate and he said they dont have certificates for rubies, only diamonds. Come on! Seriously?! Ive bought alexandrite jewelry in touristy areas of Alaska that came with a certificate. He said he would contact the supplier and call me back on 07/26/2018. Of course he did not and on 08/02/2018 I called to speak with Bernie to find out he was on vacation. Im sure there is more to come and will update this review.

TERRIBLE experience at this store. Went in to get my engagement ring resized, not a single person acknowledged us, so we went over to the service counter, and again, the lady behind the service counter ignored us, so we were just kind of standing there waiting, finally she looks at us and just goes “uhm...do you need something?” Full of attitude, acted like we were a problem for needing help..

Went in there for a gift for my wife,spent $ 1,300.00 and they told me that my credit card wouldnt post for 2 weeks, well my wife called me the next day (not even 24 hours) and asked me if I any bought jewelery. They spoiled my gift ...what a bunch of liars,anything for a sale..overpriced also..
