Selection and prices are pretty good. Had difficulty finding all the items I wanted. Staff are very friendly & attentive. Overall, a good shopping experience.

The best produce in town. I worked at Sams Club in the produce department for over 12 years. And this place truly has them beat hands down.

Used this location for the first time today for Walmart pick up. Not only did they have my order ready early, they had no substitutions, and quickly brought out my order. I’m impressed because the Bolger and 40 hwy locations I always have issues with. I definitely will be using this one from now on!

It has been my go to store for a while now, but 5 times in a row I have came here and they dont have my beer in 12 pack bottles. Only in 6 packs, which is the difference of $14 dollars for a 12 and almost $9 a 6 pack.

Some areas are well stocked other areas not so much. The soda section is very limited. Went the other day to get coffee creamer and bacon. Only had one selection to choose from and only had a couple to take. This seems to be a reoccurring pattern whenever I go.

Normally we have a decent experience with pickup. Today we had a pickup and we were missing 3 items. My husband calls, he is told he can come out and have them replaced. When he went to get the items, a manager all but accused him of lying and trying to steal food and threw a temper tantrum and ended the exchange with Have a FANTASTIC day sir passive aggressively. If we were going to steal, wed go for another overpriced item...not a toddler meal. Thanks for accusing perfectly honest customers of stealing because of a store mistake. 😀

Worst store to visit. All the managers are turning us away. Nobody filling up the shelves in produce or the meat area. Where is the Better Business Bureau(BBB). We had a lady tell her associates that stocking was more important to help a customer out and I heard that from the next aisle. Had one young lady helping us out when she was completely overloaded with a pallet and three other gentleman assisting her and us a while was probably the only satisfaction we had throughout our journey in this store. This need to improve so much otherwise I will take my money somewhere else. THIS IS RIDICULOUS

Horrid place to do business. Understaffed. Service desk is a joke. Store Specialty: Their very own brand of Inspire the customer to go elsewhere..Keep your blood pressure in check by just driving right on past this monument to poor service perfection.

Its a nice clean store, and its a good place to run in and get groceries.

I will be visiting the actual store manager on Monday after my experience I had today with the pretend store manager. I have never ever been treated so bad by any retailer ever in my life. And some of there employees like to make up there own rules and not follow Walmart policy.

Not busy but no shopping carts you have to go to the parking lot and get your own

Dashed into Walmart marketplace in Indep., Mo. Picked up a roasted chicken, 4 one serving pies, pop, some canned dog food. In & out quickly. People wore masks but didnt always keep their distance.Had to tell a young man that he was too close to me in line .

Not disability-friendly after dark. After about 9pm, they make the exit door one-way so that you cant get to the motorized carts. You are forced to use the entrance on the other side of a makeshift wall of display products they are now creating at night to block access to that side. This wall blocks access to motorized carts and to the benches. Even if it was appropriate to have to call out over the wall for assistance (and hope someone hears), no one is around to help. If you are unable to walk the distance to get to the motorized carts (from the entrance side of the wall... around a food area... and past all of the checkouts), you must have someone with you to go retrieve the cart. Since the wall also blocks the benches, you have to stand the entire time, which can lead to a critical and painful condition for some of us.I am unable to shop or go out by myself. Very occasionally, for emotional health, I try to get to the store, with aid of course, and until this wall, I had a good system going. If this Walmart does not wish to cater to the disabled, they could at least warn you with a sign that says “bring your own wheelchair after dark”, so you dont waste your time and limited steps only to be met with a wall. It is quite painful and upsetting. Prior to this, I’d been met with only good experiences at this Walmart. I have contacted Walmart customer care and asked them to please stop the use of that wall for the sake of other disabled persons. I am certain Walmart will act right away.

While this location replaced all the local businesses that were there before the Walmart neighborhood market isn’t that bad actually very nice prices and I generally don’t like Walmart. Pretty good please help me this is the only way I can communicate this but I was kidnapped by The Church of Scientology and they’re keeping in this hotel room in Montana with only an iPhone and a water and food dish. I don’t know where my family is and I haven’t seen the sun since 2011 and they keep talking about “deciphering the text” but I don’t know what that means. Please help me, call Interpol or something.

Some of the workers are rude. They always think my little sister is taking pop when that is the first thing we scan. I can understand if its every once and a while but its everytime. We go in this place a lot cause my sister dont drive and its close to her place.

I like the fact that self checkout is designed to have customers basically put people in the unemployment lines. Several checkout lines are closed off (so why even have them) All while the one maybe two employees working the self checkout stand around doing more private investigating whos stealing rather than assisting customers with bagging groceries and customer service. Why not rent robots and get rid of the customer service experience all together. UPDATE 7-23-21 So its 8:40am and every aisle has pallets full of items but you cant buy them because theyre not unloaded. I get to the meat aisle and theres hardly any meat unloaded and I ask the gentlemancan I please get a 10 lb. Roll of hamburger? Hes likeits tucked away under alot of other items and its going to be awhile. Its 8:43 in the morning. Shouldnt these items be stocked overnight? Why be open if YOU CANT BUY ANYTHING?!? I just walked out. When every aisle has more workers standing around then shoppers. What does that tell you? Isnt like people stopped buying food. They go elsewhere and thats what I did.

Early Sunday afternoon (7/18/21) -- Very sad due to fewer employees: palettes of products needing to be restocked blocking nearly every aisle; only one manned check-out register; bing cherries marked as $1.97 per pound checked out as $2.97 per pound at the self-scan register.

Nice store. Isles are a little narrow but easy to get around. The staff is very helpful

Great store to shop @ but I went today and they are out of a lot of things so I would suggest going to a supercenter if you need a lot of groceries otherwise this location usually will have more food selections.

The customers are the worst part about this store. They are rude and disrespectful and think theyre the only one shopping in the store literally three times while I was there the other day three different customers stopped in the middle of aisles to text on their phone and just just stopped while I waited and they did nothing I had to keep turning around and going around the whole aisle to get to the other side of the aisle even sheet I would say excuse me to try and get by, one guy even blocked the whole entrance to going into another aisle so he could text and people were rude in the parking lot as well its either just the people that shop there or its Independence. You pick. Either I wont be back. I only went to help my mom but I will not let her go there anymore.

The fake manager let the customer service cashier take a lunch at 4pm without a backup for them and said that the money center was closed for an hour.I asked the so called manager can you help the customers in that area and she said she cant. I then told the so called manager that the area isnt closed its just neglected by you bot wanting to do your job.This store needs help and needs to be run alot better ive never seen this at a walmart of any kind anywhere. I travel all across the country and by far this is the worst.Do Better

The pharmacy location and access ability is horrible!!! I ended up almost bottoming out my car because of the stupid way they put up the barriers.

This is a busy store that offers a small parking lot. I visited here often in the past and it had what I needed. The prices where sometimes higher than other places in the area.

This is the closest store to my home and I absolutely dread going there. Customer service seems to be down more often than not. The store seems understaffed And the employees overworked.

This was a much better concept store when it opened over 15 years ago. now its just a mini Sams Club without the bulk buying. think ALDI with more name brands.

Beggers in the store aisles. Need to play better music on outside speakers. People parking in handicap spots without a handicap placard or license plate.

I have since moved out of the area but still go here every now and then because its my old neighborhood and where my family lives. I will always love this little Walmart neighborhood market. It was awesome when it was first built and we realized we had a Walmart grocery store! makes grocery shopping so much easier when you dont have to deal with the rest of the store . They do have a smaller selection than a lot of super Walmarts but its very nice to be able to go in and get what you need. they usually have good stock on things. Just as good a prices as regular Walmarts of course. the employees here dont change a whole lot and I have known some of the same ones for several years. They are always friendly and helpful and feels like they try to get to know their customers and usuals. I love the deals that they have in between the aisles sometimes at the checkout where they have cheap charging cords and things like that. They also put the stands for hair accessories and earrings for each holiday in this store.

So far, Im liking this store for their drive up service.

Usually I am fairly happy with this market and I want to believe that today was just a bad day. The cashier in self check insisted on helping me. Because I bought 39 of one item. She yelled at another customer. She was so busy looking at her palm pilot she was ignoring other people. I hope this is not a recurring issue. 9/22/2020 @1047 am is when I finished my transaction. I think the lady was a CSM which makes this even more sad.

I do not like the idea that when its 2 hours to closing time that they force everybody to go through self checkout and dont have any employees on a register.

After getting off of work, grocery shopping is the last thing I want to do. A big shout out the everyone who was working today. During the middle of a pandemic, todays team was on it. Shelves were being stocked by multiple associates per aisle, managers were communicating to keep cash lanes moving, warehouse associates were getting pallets out. Thank you to everyone who works there, yall are MVPs during crazy times.

We do grocery pickup here as I absolutely despise going into Walmart (past reasons) and the service is super quick! Ive only ever had two employees service me. There is a young boy and a young girl. The young boy was funny, quick and attentive. (And attractive lol) The girl seemed a bit agressive, but Ill give her the benefit of the doubt. Poor thing is probably working paycheck to paycheck, going to college and hates the life she was given. I can understand that. Either way, pick up from here, is FLAWLESS!!

They are terrible!! Not enough employees working to cover the amount of business they have!! They work there employees harder than they should because they are under staffed!! Hire more HELP!!

Why can’t they have an actual register open. Every time I come here I have to check myself out with a cart full of groceries and I can’t use my WIC. How inconvenient

I get certain items here. Not all my. Grocery are bought here. I get in and out in less than 10min.

I prefer shopping at the neighborhood market because is usually less crowded & easier to get in and out of. This store never has enough registers open though. If they had MORE than 2 or 3 open then I could have given 5 stars. Tonight there was at least 6-9 sets of people in line at each of the few registers open. There were 11 people in line for the express self checkout. In the era of social distancing this was too many people waiting in lines that stretched down the shopping isles. Wal-Mart you can do better.
