Ive been getting Ice cream cakes from a competitor for 20 yrs and this yr when they couldnt get the flavor in time for fathers day, I went to Whits . I will be coming back. The flavor and quality of how its presented is amazing. Whits in independence is awesome!

I absolutely love their custard (way, way better than Culvers) but the last few times we tried to get some they were either doing freezer “grab & go” only, or nobody was manning the counter. We also tried calling several times to ask about cakes (which they don’t do anymore), but they don’t answer their phones and there’s no option to leave a message.

The frozen custard is great... If you have an hour to get it. 3 people in line ahead of us, we waited almost 15 mins and the line never moved so we left. This is a normal thing for this store, unfortunately.

Whits frozen custard was everything I was hoping it would be! I am originally from the east coast where custard is the norm and it was no where to be found in KY. The service and the custard is TOP NOTCH. 100% will be back all the time with everyone I know. You can trust a review by a east coaster!

I have so far been there twice! It is by far the best place I have found. Everything is freshly made! Staff is warm and inviting!

There is no doubt everything they make is DELICIOUS!! But what really makes them stand out is their staff!! They are always so friendly and accommodating! Love these guys!!!

Yum! Freshest homemade custard around! I will say its a bit pricey but a great place to splurge once in a while.

Delicious my kids and I love this place. They have the best milkshake straws in the world they are extra thick making them easier to drink fast just beware of brain freeze.
