I went in worrying that the $130 diagnostic check would end up being a $2K+ transmission replacement recommendation, but once I spoke with the gentleman on the phone I felt reassured, so I brought in my Jetta. I was concerned I had burned out something trying to get up a snowy hill. The mechanic checked it out, came back, and told me it was just packed ice against my wheels. He said it was no charge. I reminded them of the diagnostic price, and they refused. No charge. Tell me those are dishonest mechanics and Ill call you a liar. What a great business. They have my loyalty as long as Im in the area. Period. Amazing. How often do you get quoted LESS than what you expect (in this case, zero)? Never. What a great group of folks.

Took my BMW in to have it aligned. First off, pricing was what was so out of align but was convinced that they had state of the art equipment and that other alignment centers couldn’t do the job so I paid it. May I add 4x more then Belle tire, which was where I ended up taking it after Auto P ruined a perfectly good tire by aligning it incorrectly. Before taking it to Belle tire, Auto P told me I needed $1200 in parts and labor to replace “bent” parts. I paid Belle $ 69. To put it back in alignment and have been driving it since. No additional parts or $$ required. Run from these guys. My friend took his Porsche here. He had a very similar issue with them.

This company is the worst. Im not sure if they dont care or if its the fact that they dont RESPECT my kind, but I refuse to believe that they could not get this car fixed in a timely fashion. They had my car for MONTHS again this time. But didnt fix ANYTHING. I picked the car up after 2 and 1/2 months after I dropped it off with the same exact problems I had when I dropped it off. The only other company that is worse is black forest on shadeland. They should just get out of the business if they cant do any better than this.

This place is awesome and they really care. I needed a little tweaking done on my Mini and they completely understood and didnt try up selling me on anything. The guy is a Mini owner himself and helped me understand the love for these cars. Will definitely go back if I need anything else.

These guys not only got my car in and out quickly and did a great job at a lower price. I was told I needed need struts all around and was quoted about 600 more than I should had. When I told my car here, they assured me my backs were still in working order, but quoted for both just in case. I will always good here first.

Took my BMW 335i in to Peter and his team after two other mechanics couldn’t find a solution to my intermittent camshaft sensor code issues. I didn’t have a lot of hope to be honest. But after doing a deep diagnostic, they found a handful of issues that were fixed properly and at a great price. My car hasn’t run this well for a couple of years, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience.If you have an import, you can’t go wrong with Autopotenza!

My car went into low power mode with engine light on, so I took it to auto potenza, which had previously done good work on my car. They were supposed to only do a diagnosis and quote me how much it would cost, which they did. Told me everything it needed. I told them to hold on so I can apply for a loan from my bank. I ended up not getting approved so I had to wait till my father came back from an out of town visit. We went to get my car so I could take it back home and they had went ahead and did the work without me giving them the ok to do so. I am so grateful to my father for being able to charge it to his credit card otherwise I would be without my only mode of transportation that Ive had a lot of work done on I would have had to take them to court to prove I did not approve the repair to be done. They do good work Im not denying that. Just make sure they dont do any work you dont want them to.

I am very happy we found Autopotenza. We recently bought a low-miles 1998 Mercedes SL500 from a private owner. It looks great and drives great, but we really didnt know how much work it would need. Peter and his team did a used car inspection (which could easily have been a chance to pad the repair list). He found it needed new brake pads and disks, which I had expected after driving it. That was it. They did an oil change, fluid level checks, etc. at a cost that is very reasonable. It is important to find a shop that can work on Mercedes, especially one this old - they made a loyal customer out of us for sure.

I never had an issue. By far the best in the business I’m a woman so you may think I don’t know the difference but I do.. and as a female I’ll say he’s kind, caring, respectful and I believe he’s honest! That’s saying a lot! plus he knows his business! So as far as I’m concerned he’s batting 100. We all will have a different opinion and maybe a different experience.. my experience has been note worthy. This is the only shop in town for me and my second Mercedes.He worked on the first one up until the time it was hit and totaled.Now he’ll be my go to for phase 2. I’ve also referred him to a friend with a BMW and she was very pleased with the cost and performance.

Replaced my clutch on my Volkswagen Golf TDI for $1,000 less than the dealer. Fast service, clean looking shop and very friendly staff. I would recommend for anyone looking for a place that knows VWs and Euro cars.

Autopotenza is wonderful. I replaced my tires at another shop and one of the lug nuts broke. That shop referred me to here get it taken care of. The guys are so nice and helpful. They explained everything step by step and had me taken care of quickly.

Just after Christmas 2018, the dash display and head-up display went out after a detailing shop jumped my car (something the detailing shop should never have done). Carlos came in and looked at my car (2015 BMW 535Xi GT), and told me what he would look at to diagnose the problem. He told me what he would look at and he gave me an idea of the expected price range. Great little shop on the West side. Repairs were to take at least 4 hours. After a couple of hours, Carlos called me. He told me what he discovered and fixed and that he took my car for a test drive and everything was running great. Actually, my car is now running better than when I bought it a few months ago. Im VERY happy with the work that was done. This will NOT be my last time going there. These guys rock. I was looking for an alternative to the Jag dealership. I called Jaguar bout eight times they would never even return my phone calls for a bid. Tom Wood Jaguar horrible! When they finally did they gave me a $1500 quote to change a rear hub just for a couple broken studs. Peter replaced the hub wheel bearing Lugnuts etc. with OEM parts for almost half. Very straightforward people that do business the right way.

Have a 2009 VW Jetta and was having some transmission type issues, poor shifting, all gear lights lit up on dash, etc. AP coordinated with VW and determined through a variety of tests that wires to a connector related to the transmission electronic control module were chewed off by a rodent. It took a few days but the problem was corrected and no new transmission required.

This was my first visit to Autopotenza, east 59th st in Indianapolis-I was greeted courteously and kept informed concerning the progress on my BMW. I was getting an alignment check due to new tires. My alignment needed no adjustment, and I was not charged for the visit. My transmission was having big trouble shifting into 2nd gear and oil was leaking from the valve cover. I got a very reasonable estimate and agreed to have the work done.My jeep does not have a top on it, and they kept it inside for me while they were doing the work, I really appreciated that.The work has been done for almost two years now and my transmission is like new, and not a drop of oil has leaked from my valve cover. If your car needs work done, I highly recommend these guys. they are friendly, honest and provide quality work for a very reasonable price.

I came in for an oil change. After the driver took my vehicle in to get serviced. They guy working at the front desk comes to tell me that my abs lights, and engine light is on...which weren’t on before I got there....so strange how that happened just as soon as they drove it in for service. After telling them that those lights weren’t there before I arrived, they immediately started to defend themselves and denied to do anything about it. I’m assuming these guys can’t afford these type of vehicles so they enjoy every second they get when they drive them. Please watch out for them. I will never bring my car here ever again.

I have a Range Rover, witch is my baby. I was having problems with my transmission, I didnt know what was wrong with it. I took it to several dealers and they told that it was the transmission also many other issues. Well I took my 2010 F150 Platinum here do to it not wanting to start. They found out it was a fuel pump that had burn out or something so ok heres $900 for that. They fixed it but let me know my transmission was leaking transmission fluid and was gonna need new transmission seal, filter, and fluid. Kinda weird cuz I park it same spot and I havent noticed anything. When I showed up they proceed to show me transmission fluid underneath that had leaked out overnight. They advised me that my transmission wouldnt last more then two weeks on the amount of transmission fluid it was leaking but I didnt have the money for the fix. So I took a chance on it not messing up. I decided to take it for a second opinion to Edwards transmission specialist to just be told nothing was wrong and that there was no leak. Huh aint that something. Nice try Autopotenza keep lying to your customers. Please get a second opinion. Oh by the way got 1yr 1/2 and transmission has no issues or leaks.

I would highly recommend Autopotenza. Autopotenza has taken care of my BMW 323i and my Nissan 350z. They can do it all! The staff is very friendly, professional, and knowledgable. They fixed an issue I had with my BMW the first time I brought it in... Ive taken it to Hash Imports multiple times for the same issue and Hash was unable to figure out the problem. Autopotenza gave the correct diagnosis after looking at it for about 10mins. Carlos explained the issue to me and even showed me why it was happening. They dont try to up-sale you and they are extremely fair on their pricing. I wish I wouldve known about them sooner and not had to deal with Hash Imports. It wouldve saved a great deal of time and money! Autopotenza is the best shop Ive ever done business with. And trust me, Ive dealt with a lot of shops and dealerships. Ill never take my car anyplace else ever again.

Took in my 2009 135i for brake and chassis noise. Omar took my car in the same day I called and had it fixed in less than 24 hours. The staff was very friendly, honest, and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.EDIT: After driving the car for about a week, the brakes started making the exact same noise as before. I took the car back to them and they said nothing was wrong and tried to sell me more parts. I was told You have to stop like you mean it and nothing is wrong. I was basically charged $700 to have new brakes installed that somehow make MORE noise. If youre looking for service after the repair, I would go in a different direction.

I phoned autopotenza to tell them about my mini leaking oiI. I took my mini there the same day and was going to wait for it. The valve cover gasket was replaced though it was not the main oil leak. Then after being there for 6.5 hours I was not told what the main oil leak was. Then I was told my antifreeze coolant container was cracked on the side and bottom and was told it was leaking coolant, Then Omar want to charge me for oil change when the oil leak had not been fixed. If my mini is still leaking oil and I already had an oil change prior to coming there, why would you want to charge me for another oil change? I also had oil with me to put in my mini if needed. Omar refused to have Carlos drain my oil and put the oil in that I had with me. I then had my mini taken to auto shop where repairs had been done before and was informed that my coolant container was not cracked as Omar and Carlos said and were the oil was possibly leaking. I was also informed that when Carlos had moved the coolant container that was how the piece that goes into the hose was broken. When I called to inform Carlos of what I was told he denied damaging the coolant container. Had Omar and Carlos not overcharged me, damaged my coolant container, and informed me of the main oil leak, I would have went back. This experience was disappointing, frustrating, and offensive. I would not recommend taking your vehicle here. if I could rate no stars I would.

Its been an issue I have to fix. Mind you my car hasnt even had 12k miles put on it in a year. Over 2,000 spent here. I will never return and may even contact BBB about issue . They need to be investigated because this isnt the first review stating same type of issue.Update: 4th time needing to go back because 780.00 sensor they replaced now isnt working.I was never told about my tires until the last visit. I then, went back in the shop and looked at them. I paid you close to 2,ooo.oo WHY WOULDNT I replace 300-500 worth of tires. Makes no sense. Mind you, I live 45 mins from you and have to miss work everytime I come there.

(Not some arcane jargon that only a mechanic would understand). Sweet!I live on the far west side of Indy. Autopotenze is located 34 miles from my home. The owner was gracious enough to take me all the way home while my Benz was was being repaired, and then come to pick me up to take me back to their shop after my car was ready. Talk about superlative customer service!Had problems with worn out parts in front suspension. I also told them that the front brakes shuddered whenever I had to stop suddenly. The mechanic drove it, and came back with the conclusion that the rotors were warped. Put it up on the lift, called on me in the waiting area so he could show/explain the problem.The greatest thing about Autopotenza was that the repair estimate was 70% less costly than the estimate Id received from an old Indpls Benz garage, (and that was for just the front end suspension work). Carlos and Omar at Autopotenza LLC are the real deal. My 2011 Mercedes-Benz GL 450 needed a new lock actuator for the liftgate. I met Omar first thing Monday morning so he could confirm and order the part. I was in and out in 20 minutes. The part came in Tuesday morning, and I went back, sat in their nice waiting room, used their WIFI, and got some work done, while they replaced the latch. I was in and and out in less than three hours, including the time it took Carlos to get the repair FULLY COVERED under my extended warranty. By comparison: Last week, the local Mercedes-Benz dealership had my car beginning when the opened on Monday morning. They finally got around to looking at it on Tuesday afternoon and determining an estimate (that was 36% higher than Autopotenzas, and that was only going to be covered 50% under my extended warranty as a gesture of goodwill, according to the warranty company). Long story short, I eventually picked up my unfixed car from the dealer before they closed on Friday because -- in their condescending and customer-second manner -- they wouldnt ensure it would be done in the 4+ hours before they closed (or give me a loaner vehicle over the weekend), even after I was resigned to just paying the difference. I will now use Autopotenza exclusively for maintenance and repair work!

I recently took my 530i here for a overheating diagnostic . They told me it had a leak and changed a hose connect from waterpump to radiator . (Too expensive for labor the hose is in open area and very easy to remove, with that said it shouldnt of cost 99.99$ for laborbfor that ome hose). After that they tell me the vehical i okay to drive and wont overheat . Sure enough im driving anf notice my ac has been on i turn the A/C off and it starts to overheat. Signal turns on and i had to pull over and get a tow home . The car would drive before if you left the A/C on but overheats as soon as you turn it off . The mechanic told me they pressure tested and saw no problems . I Paid 340$ for Nothing literally . They must not know what they are doing to think one hose was all there was . When the vehical did overheat is what leaking . He said he let it idle for 5 or 6 hours so it was okay . The vehical will not overheating in idle they are not professional, he should have drove the vehical to see if it has problems (with a/c off as well to see it overheats) . Im very disappointed & if anyone has info on how to go about this please let me know . TAKING MY VEHICAL TO VAUGH MORTWERKS MONDAY . I will not let these people take my money, they must think people are stupid i can not image how many people they have screwed over !!!!
