Kameisha at Central restaurant products was more than helpful to help us with certain glassware that’s hard to find at this time. Not only did we get them earlier than we expected but she always reached out with courtesy reminders once they shipped and at the time we needed to be on the lookout on the day of delivery. Not a good experience.On July 14th I ordered an item from Central Restaurant Product because it said the item was in stock (other sites indicated it was out of stock), turns out it wasnt in stock there either. I received an email and call from a nice enough woman giving me a couple options of which I chose the one that worked for me, I was willing to wait for the correct product.Received an email today (from the same woman) to ask how I liked the product. Well, I never received it so I wouldnt know. Her response was she could look into it, but would have to go through 3 steps and make a call to find out, she didnt seem pleased to have to go through the effort to fulfill the order so I canceled the purchase. Should be 0 stars but the site wont let me post with 0 stars. Customer service is clearly a thing of the past for this particular vendor.
Found this company online, and was excited to look through their selection of wares (feel the weight, textures, etc.) to furnish my kitchen, but learned after driving 45 minutes during rush hour that their showroom is closed to the public. I called the phone number of the front door to confirm, and was surprised to also learn that they also closed before I arrived (6pm) contrary to the posted Closes 8PM on Google. So I can only pickup what I order online, which 100% defeats the purpose of why I was going. Disappointing to say the least.**I promise if someone from CRP responds with the same copy/paste of First I would like to apologize for this situation... I will never come back.
Our fridge came dented and they refuse to refund us our money without taking 20% (thats $800) even though their website states they give refunds for concealed damage. Dont shop from here youll only be disappointed.

To get the sale I was told (and emailed) that the refrigerator would be here on time.... It was not. A day AFTER its scheduled delivery they continued to change the timeframe throughout the day..... As of right now I have spent a total of 13+ hours sitting and waiting during the times they said it would arrive, only to have them change the time.... Again.... And again.... And again. If you need a timely delivery, if youre relying on good service do NOT but from them. They will tell you whatever you want to hear to get the sale... Then good luck!PS: at the time of writing this I still havent received the refrigerator and am now awaiting yet another update on when its supposedly coming. (For 2 days its been either on the truck, on its way, etc from 2 hours from here) :/
They sent me a freezer with a hole in it. I refused the delivery & have been waiting on a refund now for 18 days (they couldnt send a replacement for over 4 months). They ignore all my emails & every time I call they give me the run around... no one who can do anything or answer anything is ever available to talk to me. All I can ever do is talk to some customer service rep whose position is designed as a barrier to providing any sort of resolution of my problem, telling me theyll leave messages or send more emails. My sales rep is Todd Storm & he hasnt replied to one single email, answered any of my calls, or returned any of my voicemails throughout this whole ordeal. I would not recommend anyone buy anything from Central Restaurant Products, not because they delivered a damaged product, but because they provide the absolute worst customer service when attempting to resolve the issue that Ive ever received from a company.
We have purchased multiple furniture items and supplies from Central and they have fantastic customer service. If they dont have the exact cart or storage system I am looking for they will take my specification and put together a package that will fit my space perfectly.

Ordered a VacMaster VP210 Chamber Vacuum Sealer. Product came a little later than expected; but practically everything is relatively delayed with COVID and all. Im still giving 5 stars because their team was very responsive to my inquiries about shipping. Also, the product came in perfect condition. Overall, a great experience.
Do not buy from these thieves! I ordered 2 fans units that they said would ship in 2 weeks. They charged my credit card immediately, and then they never did ship the product. I cancelled the order and they finally refunded me after holding my funds for 2 months. What a trashy outfit. Find somewhere else that has a little integrity.Heres a tip (based on your reply) Dont charge my card until you ship my order! (like most legitimate sellers)

Editing my review, it took 3 weeks but I received a new replacement machine and finally have ice. Satisfied with the outcome.Purchased an ice machine, 6 months later it is fried and I have to wait a week for parts. The response from the company? This is why the units have warranties...Cool, Ill never buy another thing from this company again.

I bought a grill that cost me $1000 and when I opened the box I found out that one of the legs is defective, I called the store immediately within 4 hours of buying it to let them know about it, they told me to call the manufacturer for the warranty, I did call them then I became a ping pong ball between them, over a month later and nothing happened. I am very disappointed and I feel that they dont care about their customers and,
Internal corporate communication and how product categories are shared with Customer service sucks. Tried to do business based on entire category they have on THEIR website and called for pricing because that’s what it says to do. Then the agent basically had no idea they even offered the category and just wasted 5 minutes of my time telling me what the main focus there is like that’s going to help me. Yikes. If someone with some knowledge about the outward facing offerings there sees this and wants to actually do business I would consider adjusting my rating. Just as a warning to new potential customers - don’t waste your time in the web site at all. Just call first I guess.
Absolute garbage service. They charged me for an item they don’t have and then claimed I was never charged. Once I proved I was charged Albert Price sent me some snide response and just told me another department would handle it. Do not trust these guys. Had I not pursued them I likely never would have been refunded for the item I was charged...that doesn’t exist.
I have to give one star because there was no option for o mines, i called for some pricing as i am renovating a restaurant and when i asked the sales rep for price he told me that the bar stool was 187 that is the same stool (exactly the same at webstaurant is $52.00,i asked him is there any reason that is so high,then he started with his offense,i asked him why all this, his response was that he doesnt deal with A..H..e like me .then he hang up,two days later he called me and tried to offer apology, i told him that his apology was not accepted because that was the lowest class response ive heard from anyone, i would recommend anyone that needs anything for restaurant please check WEBSTAURANT IF YOU DONT HAVE MONEY TO TROW AWAY, The best service and the best prices youll find on line or in the store .These people are rip off.

I own a health food store in NC and took a chance to buy a display freezer of their own brand which is Central. The salesman told me how reliable and worry free the units are. I have had it 7 months and just lost $2000 worth of food because compressor stopped. This is under warranty for the work BUT not what I lost inside for food. Steer clear of this company and spend the extra money for a True or Turbo Air unit and know you wont be dealing with this type of headache.

Best customer service I have received from product resellers. My equipment came in a timely manner and with care! The day after it was delivered I received a call to make sure I got my product and everything arrived safe! Will be ordering from them more ofter!
Sales persons & Customer service are rude! And after they get your $$. They dont give a S#*€ about you! Erin. Is a jerk and so are 70% of there staff. I will never ever buy from here. Bought an under counter dishwasher from central restaurant with their name on it, its a Blakesly brand. It didnt work from day one, then to use the warranty offered on the machine it took months to have any customer service. We just fixed the dishwasher again, 2 elements and 4 fill valves and the machine only gets used 4 months a season. Bottom line, dont buy any products with Central restaurant supply on them, they are garbage.
I have dealt with central since opening my restaurant 6 years ago. I have purchased a lot of things through this company. I purchased a Vulcan range that caught on fire in July due to a fluke was what I was told this has never happened before. I bought a special ordered bigger range to replace it after being told not to buy a cheap one you will only have trouble. The range was promised in 1 week it was well over 2 weeks holding up the reopening of the restaurant. When I called to inform my rep that there was a fire inside the range on Friday his response was must be your electrical system. We had new certified wiring run both times. Service could not fix it because of it needing too many parts so we lost business for 3 days because of not having an oven. Then we were informed it did not have the heavy duty elements I requested when ordering it. I would NEVER do business with this company again. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and sells substandard equipment!!!!
My experience with this company has been a nightmare! I purchased an ice machine for my company, and my rep, Brian Wiltshire, told me it came with all the parts necessary to install it. He lied. It did not come with one connector. I had to hire a plumber to purchase the parts and install it. Then two days after installation, a plastic piece inside the machine broke off and it would not make ice. I called for help, but all Brian did was give me a number to the warranty company. The warranty repairman showed up (no appointment) and told me the ice machine is an off-brand and they have to get the parts from Central Restaurant Supply. However, Central will not answer their phone. This little ice machine has now cost me over $2,000 and it worked only two days. Im ready to ship it back, but Im afraid they will not credit me back for it. Im so frustrated!
Central Restaurant was easy to work with and they had the best pricing on the item I wanted. Zero complaints. They even made a follow up call after the delivery was made to ensure everything was to my satisfaction.

Im biased because I live in Indianapolis and I love seeing hometown companies make good but even if I didnt live here, id still have the same feedback. The sales team is great, I have never gotten the car salesmen feel. They are always willing to help me think through purchases, and make educated decisions even if it doesnt turn into a transaction. The customer service is great regardless of the purchase size. Ive had products break on me and theyve dealt with it without any headaches. Keep up the great work.

Order refrigeration door flaps from the company 3 and a half weeks before this post. It was coming from another vendor before the July 4th holiday and still havent received as of July 11th. The tracking info said it was delivered to an Alabama address..only problem I live in NJ..been trying to cancel my order and get refunded. And I havent heard back from them..DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE

I bought a great fridge at a great price, unfortunately a fan wobbled 3 months later. Restaurant equippers put me in contact with manufacturer and with in 10 minutes of my problem I had a part overnighted. This was my choice, they were willing to send someone out to fix it.

It ended up they did refund all my moneyVery poor return policy on defective merchandise. First time use of 10 induction pan and it warped, Al said they would not take back used item and would charge 20% restocking fee for unused 12. They now have $56.48 of my money and I have 2 pieces of junk I cant use. Shame on youUpdate; I was contacted today by another rep from this company. After sending pictures of warped pan they are refunding my money.

Really bad experience. Ordered a patio table and chairs in June, got an email a week later saying its backorder till August. I decided to wait, but that was a mistake. Several days after the backorder date, still no news. I called them, the answer was - it will be shipped next Wednesday. Ok, Ill wait. Wednesday comes and goes - no emails, no calls. Called them back on Friday - turns out now its backordered until October. So in summary, they did not update about the order status at all, continually lied about the date, and I just wish I never ordered anything from this company.

Had hiccups with delivery on an item that we needed rushed--one week delivery for a piece of equipment instead of 2 days. I believe it was the company they used, not them, but still had to go without a sandwich prep table for a week. CRP credited us 8% for our trouble.
What horrible company Albert was the seller he was very nice getting the money but when my freezer arrived completely broken he threatened me saying that I would never get my money back this is big scam company I would never again buy from them .
