Once upon a time a movie and music store. Fye has reinvented itself as a used disk emporium and pop culture store.If you are looking for otaku and pop culture stuff its a fun place to visit.

This store has a nice and interesting selection of products but their rewards program that they trick you into signing up for is really shady.The people working the register were super nice and we were talking about the vinyls I was buying and told me I could save 10% off my purchase by signing up for the rewards program. They never ONCE mentioned during this transaction that they actually charge you $12 A MONTH for this card.I saw when I got home in the booklet they gave me about the charges and had to call to cancel. I was on hold for 15 minutes and finally was able to cancel after going back and forth with customer service.I know the employees are just doing their jobs and are probably forced to get as many sign ups as possible so I don’t blame them really. Just gross business practice.

I LOVE this store and everything in it! Amazing staff and so patient and helpful! Mikayla was a huge help!

Anytime I can find an AIC album I am beyond excited

The store associate pushed their “rewards program” on my wife and I, but did not mention anything about it costing anything. Turns out it costs $11.99 a month. They make it extremely difficult to cancel. You cannot do it online and when we called to cancel the hold time was over 15 minutes. Very shady business practices. Make it clear that this costs money and let people cancel online.

I always like to drop in at FYE - I like their assortment of Funko Pops & other action figures. I struck paydirt on Saturday as they had a new assortment of Star Trek action figures. They also have a great selection of DVDs at great prices (yes I still prefer a disk I can hold in my hand). The salespeople are friendly - a fun place to visit & shop!

FYE is so fun to shop at! They have a lot of unique items such as fun candy you don’t see else wear. A lot of character items as well. The people are always super friendly and I especially love the clearance section!

Its good when what youre looking for is there. They have a good selection at great prices for tech accessories and cables you cant find elsewhere. But...this store is EMPTY.

My daughter was able to find many vinyl records. Specifically Princes Purple Rain.

Loved the store. Had tons of cool anime merch, from mini bookbags to keychains. As well as kpop merch. I even saw 1 light stick left for a group called winner. Thermoses and t shirts. Albums among other things. Really cool dbz mini back pack too! If you like anime or kpop definitely stop by this shop!!!

Really cool selection but staff attempted to sign me up for a subscription that costs like 12$ a month. And said absolutely nothing about it costing a fee.Luckily I read the card reader when it told me there would be a fee if I didnt cancel.

A place we almost always visit when we hit up the mall. My wife loves to look for the soundtrack to movies and TV shows she is into. Like power and empire before they ended. She prefers to see things in person as to online

This place was absolutely amazing! Im from a super small town and there is nothing like this around us. It was like the store of my dreams! We bought so much stuff that we had to put our stuff in the car and came back in to buy more. The only complaint I have is that they dont have carts or handbaskets, because if I could have carried more I wouldve bought more. Drove an hour and a half to Indy and this place made it worth every second!

Great place to get DVDs and pop cultured items.i ended up getting so excited headphones. I like to get Xmas gifts for everybody in my family here. They have a frequent shopping card at this location. They do sell more than just DVDs. They have t- shirts and keychains and phone accessories.

Terrible. I spend way too much money every time I walk through the doors. My paycheck is not happy. Honestly a great store, love it

Super awesome store, lots of great things every need wants to waste their money on. Only problem was that the staff seemed alittle edgy this time around, but they were probably just tired. I understand that, but still scratches off that 5th star. I really love this store though, I always return whenever Im in castleton. Even if not to shop, but to admire their stock

They have a wide variety here. My son loves looking for horror movie memorabilia like Halloween and Friday the 13th. Great clearance section in the back also.

Really cool place where you can find clothes from your favorite movies, TV shows and well known anime(Dragon Ball🙌🏽), as well as a good selection of tech related items such as chargers, alarm clocks and turntables. You can also find DVDs and CDs there. Ive always loved coming here to take a peek because you never know what theyll have in stock next.

Well they have this new 10% off program if you pay them like $12 a month so beware of this before you get to the register. Otherwise the store and pops seemed better organized than it used to be. $10 socks though? Look cheap.

They have your typical nerd pop culture items. Nothing really remarkable. The line moves quickly, and they have plenty of nifty Nick nacks to look at.

One of the guys who works here lied to me about the discount I was receiving not having any strings attached. He signed me up for a membership which has costed me over $30 just so he could get credit at work. Be very wary about some of the employees here...

Great little FYE! Unlike most of todays generation I have a great appreciation for physical copies of music. I went here specifically for a long out of print CD for my father-in-law for fathers day. They were able to burn a copy and print out the album artwork for me in about 10 minutes. The CD only cost $13 and saved me over $50. So I was pretty happy. On top of that, the selection of movies from anime to indie films is pretty good, albeit the prices for some are rather high. They have tons of other merch for Marvel, wrestling, and cartoons that is pretty decently priced. Overall, great FYE with a very friendly staff.

Purchased headphones in August of 2018 with a card. I was asked if I wanted to sign up for a membership and I said NO. Apparently I was signed up for it anyway and they used my card information to charge me $11.99 a month. Didnt notice it until now unfortunately. I called the number to cancel and was argued with that I did sign up for it. After getting a confirmation number for cancellation, I was told no refund was possible even though I never signed up for it in the first place. TLDR - DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Especially not on a card.

Love the selection of older movies and shows. If you look you can find a good deal sometimes.

I always like going in to check on the new items here. It helps that they have Funko pop exclusives and godzilla stuff. The employees are always nice and the prices dont seem to be too much more than anywhere else.

We uninteionally and inadvertently got signed up for Backstage VIP pass. None of the imprtant details were shared with us up front nor later. We incurred a $12.00 charge for over a year before discovering it. Steve Miller was invaluable in helping to resolve this issue for us and to ensure we got an adequate refund to rectify this situation. We sincerely appreciate it.

Nice store is Castleton mall. I go there to buy albums, but they have all kinds of stuff, from t-shirts to stuffed toys to cds and dvds. The staff are super nice!

Whenever I want an old action DVD from my childhood it is here, for under 5 bucks. I love it....Cyborg, Open Range, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, Black Mask, 3:10 to Yuma, Apocalypse Now, Unleashed, Enter the Dragon, Assault on Precinct 13...its great. Also some good unused CD classics for cheap, from Alice in Chains, to,Mikes Davis, to Sade, to Nas, to Brittney Spears, its all here.

This place brought me back to the 90s when I was in high school. Didnt think there still were CD stores in malls (been a long time since Ive been in one).Obviously there is additional merchandise to offer as theres no way a business could survive off CDs only. Pop culture apparel like shirts, posters, figures, games and $13 Fruit Loops in a box with a Rugrats dinosaur character.Bit pricey for what they offer and directly pointed to a particular market for sure. Seemed a bit cluttered but not unorganized.

Convinced me to sign up for the FREE backstage pass. I asked multiple times if it was free. Was told yes each time. When I went to slide my card I read what was on the screen and it told me I had 30 days to cancel or I would be charged. I canceled this and am now being charged for a magazine subscription that they gave my information to as well.

I was checking out when one of the associates asked me to come down to another register. The female associate who he thought would check me out said, out loud mind you, I have more important things to do. Not to be rude, but yeah. I finished my transaction with the male associate who apologized profusely for her. As someone who works in sales as well, I felt this was a horror show of customer service on her part.

Best nerd shop Ive been to yet little pricey but its worth it.

I use this door strictly for one thing and thats Mix & Burn I Mix & Burn my own CDs online and then I go pick him up sometimes I have one mailed to me I hate that they close the one in Genesee Valley Mall in Flint Michigan so I have to ride up to Auburn Hills which it like 30 miles but I love them cuz you can pick what songs you want as long as its on there its like almost $4 for the first song then I think I dollar something for everything after that but the good thing is no use the ospin right around $20 but I have to tell you know how much how long the songs are cuz you get like 80 minutes so I have like 15 songs that I that I want to listen to not just one song on the CD you have to buy with twelve of the song that you dont want to hear so its worth the money to

What a scam- went to purchase a single item and got an $11.99 charge a month later on same card for signing up to their rewards program.Had to call a separate number to get charges reversed and they try to sell you the membership over the phone! Say no and they keep pushing with a reduced price. All I want is my stolen money back. Terrible business.

Same story you heard. So, what I found out is that if you use a card to pay for something and they offer you the membership, SAY NO. Not only do they use the card info to charge you for the subscription, but THEY DONT TELL YOU THAT UNTIL THE END WHEN IT ALREADY WENT THROUGH. I sat at a chair in the mall trying to cancel it, because the back of the membership said CANCEL AT ANY TIME WHEN YOU CALL THIS NUMBER, only to call it and they are closed that day. They have hours of operation. Which means NOT AT ANYTIME.Now, if you use cash, they will not ask you about the membership, which i found funny. Its a stupid scam for stuff that has nothing to do with the store. Its just another way for them to make money. Its pretty sad if you ask me. I will not be going back to any FYE for that matter. Its shady and they know it.Dont even get me started on the online stuff. Firstly, you have to wait like 3 days for it to go through. They are making it harder to cancel.
