I am a big baby when it comes to my eyes. They are very patient. And they are up to date with technology. You dont have to get the burning eye drops to evaluate your eyes. They just take a picture for $19.00. I will probably try next time. Also, I love the frames. Excellente. I picked a beautiful pair out within minutes Will be back. I went to the one at Castleton Square Mall.
Love Visonworks! I’ve been going here for 5 years now . The staff is always so friendly and helpful .They strive to make sure the process is quick and efficient . Their choices in glasses is amazing as well .
I had a medical eye exam, not one for glasses or contacts. The doctor really took time to explain the eye exam every step of the way. She even took her time to help me search through my insurance companies nuero-ophlamologist. There are not a lot of these niche doctors around.I came in as a walk-in and was seen quickly on a Saturday. I was unable to have a medical exam in the same day as an eye wear exam so thats why I have 4 stars instead of 5. I would have preferred to have taken care of both on the same day.
I have never had such a thorough eye exam. Very friendly,took MY TIME into consideration. Very patient with me as I tried on MANY glasses! Definitely will be a returning customer!
The doctor I saw there was amazing! Obviously knows what she’s doing, and she takes the time to make sure you understand what she’s doing and why. The office staff (I don’t know their actual titles) were also amazing and super helpful! Couldn’t have been happier with this chance walk-in appointment :)
They lost my business. My daughter & I will not go there again. When I was there had my eyes checked that part was fine. Then when it was time to pick out my glasses, order my contacts & paid for them on March 18th. The girl told when they would be ready to pick up. I understood it should be about a week or so. When week an half my daughters appt. There was another customer MAD they mess up his glasses.I my glasses was here. But NO contacts.... I keep checking to see if there. Was getting a run around. They said my contacts were common easy not hard prescription they would be easy to get .They did know why the was delayed. Not getting a answer. Oh there on the truck for delivery several times and they would text me when they were here . No text, I called for the last time. If they wasnt here. You better give a refund......... Now its April 15th, Almost a month later. I finally got them.We went somewhere else to get my daughters glasses.
I should have known based on the location that this was not a professional environment. I arrived at 6:27 for my 6:30 appointment only to be told that “the doctor left at 6:15”. I specifically because of my work chose a business that had 6:30 appointments. I have no IDEA what type of professional organization schedules someone then leaves and doesn’t even call. And then to be told by a snotty customer service agent that she’s sorry but she doesn’t speak for the company.
Ordered my glasses on 4/28 they said it would be 7 to 10 days which would if been around 5/8 it is now 5/18 I have heard nothing so I called they told me that the glasses came in but there was a defect in the lens so they sent them back. Why did I not get a call to this effect? I need my glasses I cannot afford to wait another month to get them they should have called . I am asking for a refund so I can go somewhere and get my glasses within the week. I cannot read without my glasses so therefore I have to carry a magnifying glass around to read some things that I wouldnt have to do if I had my glasses. I need my glasses this has been a horrible experience of all the years Ive worn glasses I have never had to wait a month.
Check-in process was quick, staff efficient, nice. The Doctor answered all questions, made some good observations, ran me thru a slew of eye tests they did. In and out in an hour, pickup of glasses in a week. Great experience.
The experience is horrible. Eyes Dr. is nice, but the order for glasses is extremely disappointing and i will definitely wont come back nor recommend to my friends. Had an eye checkup on 11/13, placed order for the glasses and ready for 11/27; however, the frame is OLD, USED, SCRATCHES everywhere. Asked nicely for a replacement and was told nicely they were not sure when it is available.(~2wk). Waited till 12/14 without update, i called them and found out they did nothing to my replacement order until I called. Didnt realize they close on Sun so told them last day i could wait for this order was Sun because id be out of town, they said okay. Really? You know that you close on Sun and not even care to tell me it wont be possible. I waited and waited for NOTHING??? 1st time here and NEVER AGAIN!!! People, let me be clear, Dr was nice, but front desk service was horrible! Choose wisely!
1st Time Visit. Staff was pleasant from the moment I sat down. From the paperwork as a 1st time customer to the end of selecting a frame—phenomenal staff. I felt like I was visiting friends. Fantastic service!!! My appointment went flawlessly and they were very thorough. The people at the desk when I first walked in were very helpful and got me in the computer quickly. The doctor was very helpful and told me every step she was going to do and explained what everything was for. I can see why my sister uses them for her children. Great service all around
Me and my boyfriend had a appointment on Friday at 5 PM we were seen by a lady named Jennifer super sweet super helpful I would definitely return excellent service some people just go above and beyond their job to make you feel at home specially in these hard times with all this COVID-19
Second bad experience here and now I am done. Came in yesterday to get new contacts as mine had run out. They made me do a new exam, which is fine. I get it. I called ahead to confirm my insurance would work and they said yes. When it came to check-out time I got hit with charges that I hadnt been hit with there before AND they were trying to bill my wifes insurance instead of mine (Hers shouldnt even be active, thats an entirely different issue in and of itself.) The associate who was doing my checkout was clearly confused about what to do and even at one point asked someone behind her what option she should choose for something. I ended up paying almost $100 and didnt even get contacts. I didnt want to give them that business. Immediately after leaving, I called my insurance provider and they informed me my insurance doesnt work at Visionworks. Had I gone to somewhere it does work, I would have come less out of pocket, but they just refused to tell me my insurance was no good there. I will now be going to an in-network provider and doing an entirely new exam and giving them the business of ordering my contacts. The doctor I had yesterday at Visionworks was also less than pleasant. She acted like a very minimal change in my prescription was the end of the world and said she wanted to investigate and more or less put fear in my head to get me to pay the $20 for photos of my eyes which were absolute horrible quality. Her review of the photos lasted less than 10 seconds. This place is an absolute JOKE! DO NOT go here.Previous review:Had a weird, uncomfortable experience today. Called in because my lenses are way too scratched for how careful and protective I am with them. The sales rep who answered told me they’d replace them.When I got in the general manager kind of shut that down until the sales associate kind of overheard the conversation. She was extremely rude about it.When the sales rep overheard she came over and vouched for me, general manager took her into a room and I’m pretty sure got extremely angry with her.So, thank you vision works for replacing my lenses even though it sounds like you didn’t want to.Just hope the sales rep is OKAY! She just wanted to take care of a customer is what it sounded like - we buy glasses and contacts at this location.I don’t even think the general manager is an overtly rude person I just think the situation could have been handled a lot better. No call needed, we will still come in in the future.

Their website says they will give you your prescription number if you had an exam with the last 3 years but this location refuses to provide it. We spent a ton of money here last time but not again. Here is what their own website FAQ section says:Can I get a copy of my prescription?If youve had an exam, purchased glasses, or contacts at Visionworks in the last 3 years, please contact your local store.
Just go somewhere else. I should have known better than to go to the mall.Appointment at 6:15. Saw Dr. At 7:25. She was fine, just obviously works at the mall. Problem with initial trial contacts. That was the last pair. No problem, put in a different brand. I order 6 month supply, watch lady put in 12 month supply. I correct her. Then she spends an extra 10 minutes trying to do me a favor and shave 10 cents off. I get that she wanted to be helpful, I was just over it by then.

I love this location! All the women working were so sweet and helpful! I came in with both my babies, 1.5yrs and one 7months, and they offered to hold my youngest because she was crying while I was doing my exam!! The doctor was very patient with me and sweet with my kids.😊 I was even able to breastfeed without any dirty looks❤️
Very satisfied with Visionworks. Doctor is very thorough and patiently explains everything. My wife and I have went here for the past 4 years. My eye exam this time had not changed hardly at all and they didn’t try to talk me into purchasing new glasses. My glasses are the best I have ever had, no scratches and have never gotten out of adjustment in 2 years.Thank you
I love this place. The doctor was friendly, helpful, informative and professional. She was very informative of my needs and situation. After my exam I pick out a couple frames and set down with Kyle to check out. He too was friendly, and helpful. He took time to crunch numbers to help me get my best deal with the insurance I have, the money I had to spend, and the style I desired. This is the second time I have gone there, I have now purchased 4 pair of glasses from them. I think they have competitive prices, however I found the service so pleasant I cant consider going anyplace else. Keep doing what you do in Castleton I will see you guys in another year for 2 more pairs. You guys are the best.
I called for some of my own information- something they specifically said they could do on their website. It wasn’t enough that they didn’t do what they said, the lady I spoke with on the phone was rude and condescending. Even simple questions she acted like I had no right to my own information because I hadn’t come in for a while. Not to mention spent lots of money there in the past: Never going back.
First eye exam at 32 years old and what a great experience. I feel so much better about my vision and needing glasses. The Doctor was kind and explained things and Kyle was super helpful with all my needs. I would definitely return and recommend them to anyone. And best of all in less than a week Ill be able to see!!! haha thanks guys
The staff was friendly and on top of it. My doctor was already in the room when it was time for my appointment and she always let me know what she was doing and what everything meant. I was grateful that I didn’t even have to ask questions because she was explaining everything so well as we went along. I would definitely go back to this location!
My first time customer at Vision Works, I was greeted promptly and very courteous. Kyle has great Customer Service skills, polite, and very knowledgeable about the process of getting my script for new glasses. He was very attentive and concerned about meeting the need of my concerns and informing me of what could be done, pricing, measurements, and when I would be receiving my new glasses. I really enjoyed my visit today and look to doing more in the future.
I was so pleased with the pricing. I’ve got good insurance as well which helped out greatly but Tiana was excellent at listen to what I wanted and explaining all the pricing for me.I got two pairs of glasses and exams for contacts and glasses. They got me in an out with a little over an hr. It was an excellent experience. Glad I tried them out.

I went in for a long overdue eye exam (I’m 48-haven’t been to an eye doctor since I was a teenager) and I am very pleased with all the service I received. Everyone from Kyle, who performed my eye tests, to Dr. Calvin, who did my eye exam, to Liz who was exceptionally kind in helping me choose my frames (which is a bit overwhelming for someone getting her first pair of prescription glasses) were all very knowledgeable and compassionate making my experience a pleasant one. He explained in detail about my eye care service and helped with my decision on my eye glasses. I would highly suggest to come here for your eye care experience.

During my vacation, I lost my glasses. It was a horrible situation. On a Sunday, Dr. Lamb, Liz and Paige made terrible situation, wonderful. They were empathetic and went out of their way to assist me with contact lenses I was able to see again.Very pleasant, wonderful experience.

Terrible customer service, front desk agent had an attitude, elderly eye doctor was rude. The woman who assists with frame selection was the only good experience. Came back a few weeks later to pick up my contacts and the guy who always wears the suit, manager i believe, was Rude because I didnt want to order more than what my insurance already covered? I wouldnt waste your time or money going to this location.
A waste of money!!! I came in with a blur and left with one! Lol I explained this and basically I was hustled out of money for NOTHING!!

I had an object (later discovered it was a face wash microbead) stuck in my eye and couldnt get it out for several hours. I called a few eye doctors close to my house but very few were open (it was a Sunday) and of those, none would take me that day/without an appointment even though it was an emergency. VisionWorks said they could fit me in and took me back within five minutes of my arrival. The staff was kind and caring and the eye doctor removed the bead within a few minutes. I greatly appreciated the level of service they provided in my time of need.

Came in and made an appointment July 3rd for following Monday. July 7th. Came in and the service representative today, said I didn’t have an appointment and then figured out their help didn’t schedule the appointment correctly. Very disappointing. They said they tried to call me. Nope. Lost a customer today and in the future.
The people there were very nice and I’m not going to be blind anymore so that’s good.
Appt for 5:30, still waiting to see the doctor at 6:20. Let a guy see the doctor before me who didn’t have an appt. First and only time I go here.

I got prescription sunglasses for the first time. Although we ran into a few issues with the curve of the lenses and an incorrect order originally (miscommunication during the ordering process), all members of staff worked hard to ensure I was satisfied.
