The quality of service and ability to do business in store is nearly impossible. The manager of the Knoxville Iowa store is very ignorant Ive had to drive a half hour to another store to get my business done. My account has been screwed up for 4 months since they forced me change everything. Been with them for 27 years about done nobody can answer my questions.
We have been a US Cellular business customer for YEARS - Hubby has had the same number for almost 20 years. We also have then paid for our children to have phones as they most have been employed by us at one time or another.Today, our middle son broke his phone - I called ahead to see if I could authorize him to get a new phone - I talked to a young lady that asked my PIN number which I gave and my name. I then told her (due to multiple phone numbers associated with our account) which phone number he had and she also asked his first and last name. I asked if he could come down and get his phone replaced - she said yes, I made note on the account. Perfect, thank you and let our son leave early from work to go take care of his phone.20 minutes later we receive a phone call here at the Locker from US Cellular and it was our son saying that he was being told that his Dad who is the primary account holder had to do the authorizing. I told him that is NOT what I was told and let me speak to someone. Another lady got on the phone and I told her what I was told just 20 minutes ago and she said that wasnt their policy - I told her that is what I was told and that the young lady I spoke to told me she was notating the account. I would NOT have sent my son to waste his time to go to US Cellular to be told they could not help him. This is customer service - they needed to do what they told me they would do - I could provide them ALL the information they needed as I have paid the account for several years and have a file folder full of everything I needed to prove who I was plus my 21 year old son was in front of them who could also provide information to who he was. She told me they couldnt bend the rules and I told her that was not true - we knew someone who had bent the rules before on our account that should never have done so, because the knew one of our kids. So here we are, actually the owners and payers of the account and she could NOT help me?? I then asked that she speak to the young lady that had told me otherwise. She put me on hold for 6 minutes.Upon returning to me she said she called her manager and they could not help us. She needed to speak directly to the account holder who is my husband who is delivering a piece of equipment to Des Moines and is unavailable by phone. I asked who the manager was, she named is as Nick Nusinger (sp?). I thanked her and said it looks like we need to switch to Verizon - she said okay, have a great day. Click.As a business owner this is not how you treat a customer. This is poor management - not even once did she use an apologetic tone or words of apology - her tone was sassy and rude. I wish it was an easy and convenient thing to just SWITCH all of our phones in a minimal amount of time and have no other costs. UGH.Angie Goering, Milo Locker Meats, Milo Iowa

Its okay for what they are but, every time I go in to pay my bill, Im there for more than an hour and a half do to lack of staff.

I always have great service here. Sometimes you have to wait a little while to get help if they are busy but Ive never had to wait a ridiculous amount of time. Overall a positive experience.

Finally had good visit They are going to replace phone.Only 5 mo old and LG wouldnt do.anything Second LG messed up.They were supposed to replace last one cause they knew issue and didnt.Thank you US cellular .
Horrible! When the store manager sells you a phone and says an area of Missouri is in a good area and found out theirs no signal in this town and the only response you get is have you tried *228?. Went to store another time and another employee said that she wouldnt have sold us a phone for the area in Missouri. When you live Indianola and you only have 3 bars, thats not the strongest signal. Verizon let us opt out because of poor signal US Cellular says pay your balance and you can opt out. False advertising on tv, stores that just want to sell and no customer service. Its going to be the longest 11 months of my life.

Went to this location today and had bad service from Katie. Brought in a phone from an outside source and immediately felt unwelcome because of this. We were told the phone was potentially stolen as it said it was an active phone. Turns out that wasnt correct. Later went to another store and got this same phone activated. Bad customer service from this store. I do not recommend using this location.
A fairly long wait but the staff was very easy to work with.

This may be the worst US Cellular store Ive ever been to. Their customer service is by far the worst of any store, period. Waited for help from them yesterday, 2 oclock in the afternoon, for over an hour, to receive none, though I had been placed on the waiting list. In the hour or more I was there, one customer in line in front of me was helped, there were seriously 15 of us needing help, and all four women working were just gabbing away like it was no thing. If you have time, even walk there, go to one in Des Moines for better service.
Since I started at this location with getting cell phone service. Has been a nightmare. If you can go to another store I recommend it.

By far the worst service you will ever receive from a business... This location is an absolute joke! All of the younger women that work here are literally the most dumb rude people I have ever dealt with! They go through employees like crazy which isnt surprising. It is impossible to go to this store with out leaving in a terrible psd off mood! I will drive to west Des Moines before I ever go back to this location! I honestly wish this store would close down they are useless and very rude everytime I have ever been in here, I always end up leaving and calling us cellular 1-800 to get the help I need. F- at best

Waited over a hour for ear buds with 5 people in line ahead of me.
The Iphone is CRAP I spend more time in US Cellular with it then using it. the latest is the upgrade to ISO9 first linked all the phones on the plan together. now its wiped out all the contacts we have on each phone. Apple phones and items suck do not get any.
