Lacking workers. No produce half the time, shelves low or out of product. Pickup for orders on line, horrible. I waited 45 min to receive an order that took me about 30 min to order and I live 20 min away. They said my order was delayed and moved to another date do to lack of services. I never received an update on app or email of this change. They want to make up the inconvenience by giving me a $10 voucher for the 3 hours wasted and has to drive there… I was placed on hold for 18 minutes by the pick up crew that couldn’t give me a manager to discuss the issue.. I am frustrated beyond this!

No one ever is checking anyone out, 50/50 greeters are either nice or seem to hate their job, it takes forever to get anyone to help if a register is in need of a employee code bathrooms are always 50/50 on cleanliness depending on if you go front or back and the new layout is hard to find stuff for the people and the employees

Super helpful & friendly staff, especially in the garden center! They went the extra mile & took us into the store to find pool supplies! Always find unique plants & great buys for summer here also!

As far as Walmart school this was a better-than-average experience. The store was clean, the staff was courteous.

Its pretty much what you expect when you walk in. Love their large self checkout area! Its why I always go out of my way to go to this Walmart.

The store is always stocked and clean which is awesome! However, the pickup crew leave something to be desired. I have gotten pickup orders with missing items and pickup orders with broken water due to them slamming the product into my trunk. The water led to other ruined items.

This has got to be the worst Walmart I have ever been to. It is absolutely pointless to even have registers if you don’t have cashiers working them. I had a cart full of groceries and had to scan them myself. Last time I checked I didnt work there. On top of that I had an employee stare at me the entire time. Not enough room to put the groceries after scanning. We will not be coming here again.

Clean store, love the pickup ordering; most of the employees are great; really like the assortment.

The Indianola walmart was so helpful on our search for a Keurig machine. Tristan searched the back for the machine we needed. Unfortunately he had to send us to Des Moines. He was very helpful.

Would like to see 2 regular checkouts open with a checker that can actually do a reasonably fast job. So, when people have a child with them and tons of groeries, like most moms do, they dont have to use a self checkout and it isnt a miserableexperience. Seems like customer service is a thing of the past. Do not like shopping at this store.

Usually too crowded for me. Even though I only live a few blocks away I dont like going to that store as everything is bunched up and you cant see what you can buy unless you really take time to look very disorganized place very very busy also

The Indianola Walmart Supercenter is awesome way better than the South Side Walmart supercenter less crowded and youre able to enjoy your shopping experience

WalMart no longer cares about providing customer service. Seven checkout lanes but no cashiers. One woman working returns with a long line. No other employees bother to assist. WalMart prefers to get free labor from their customers and the lack of customer service is a joke. I wont be back.

The store is relatively clean and not crowded, but there were zero checkout lanes open and 3 employees just standing watching the self-checkout. Sometimes it would be nice to have someone bag your groceries for you when you have to shop with your 2 kids and are buying a week’s worth of groceries.

Walmart in Indianola, Iowa has been going down hill for a while now, but yesterday was a new low!! First, self check outs only were open. Really? What does the staff do there besides stand around eating? Theres absolutely no customer service there . Forced to self check, I told MAI at the start that I would need help, she says no problem. So I get to where I need help and guess what? Miss Mai is gone. Thanks for running my Walmart experience. Theres only one person in there that even has a clue what do, and he needs to get a handle on his lazy crew! I will be taking my $462 spent there to the Southside next time!! P.S. The place is filthy!

Pleasant for a walmart. Greeters were kind and not demanding that I put on a mask. (Medically unable). Store was clean= no trash on the floor. And there was an actual Cashier!!! Andthe Cashier was Happy to see us. She made my night.

I am so sick of this Walmart not having anymore than 1 checker & she is handicapped. Glad she is working but she is so slow & had a long line in her lane today.I will Not use the self check lane. I pay high enough prices for groceries without checking my own. Been told they cant get help! I call BS!! This is their way of not having to pay benefits.Walmart is also bad about discontinuing items that I like. Used to come to this store because Osceola store doesnt have a lot but I can say they usually have 6 - 8 checkers.

I received excellent customer service today from Phillip in electronics. He was helping another customer but asked me if I needed help and directed me to the correct spot for the item I needed and said he would be right there when finished with the other customer. He came over shortly and apologized several times for the delay even though it wasnt long and he clearly was with another customer. He helped me find the correct accessory for my phone and was very pleasant.

I have had hit or miss with the service I have received at most of the Walmart in my area. However this Walmart by far has been the best. *They also are the first store to mark items down so they have the best deals

The star is for the staff that are pleasant & helpful, wherever they can be found throughout the store.It seems items we are shopping for arent available or there is an empty shelf.I wanted a Thanksgiving wreath for my elderly parents nursing home door. I found zero. Blah!

Smells like hand lotion, honestly the only reason its not three stars. Items never stocked, didnt even have the twenty twenty one road atlas. It was there the day before and gone the next. So sad. Gets ready for all holidays too early! Has good selection of gum on certain days.

I wouldnt give them one star after what they did today. My wife and daughter purchased a carpet cleaner this afternoon. She brought it in, opened it and saw it was dirty and used. She immediately took it back to exchange it. We didnt want to go through the hassle of returning it the next day beside needing it today. At the service desk they discovered it wasnt even the right carpet cleaner. They wouldnt do an exchange nor did they refund her money. Instead they suspected her with their judging looks and told her it needed to be investigated. We foster for a local rescue and are currently fostering 2, 7 week old pups until they get adopted. Needless to say we wont get our carpet cleaned nor will it be clean for our guests invited over for Labor Day dinner. She was so upset and in tears when she came back empty handed for them making her feel like a low life scamming thief. This will be the last time we go there and they will not hear the end of it from me if they dont make this right.

I use to like this store but it totally pisses me off that they have no checkers anymore and its all self checkout, especially when there is a line for it. Didnt mind when you had to wait on an actual checkers. People are losing their jobs because of the self checkout!! It sucks!!

The store is fine for a Walmart. My grudge comes from them refusing entry twenty minutes before advertised closing time.

Horrible only 1 lane open some older people do not want to scan their own groceries. We pay enough for them. Taking jobs away from people. Big wigs on top make too much money . Greedy cut backs. Make the customer do the work.

I dont know this is a fair review since I was traveling through. My experience was good. The crew were in the middle of a full remolding / rearrangement and keeping a good demeanor throughout their experience. The wait time to checkout was appropriate for the traffic of customers.

Called 3 times to ask as simple question and was hung up on each time.

Not good service to buy tires. I was first one in the day .gave phone number for them to call said about 1/2 hour to get it done. Went back a hour later no phone call and had to wait for about 10 minutes more to get my car back.
